You tried to argue no one has promoted Bolt and now are pivoting to “it’s the company’s fault that we promote Bolt because they think Bolt is a competitor and we have a duty to make sure everyone hears about anything related to them on a KBLB board”.
Huh
So feel free to rain on Bolt's parade, as no one has been talking about them since their initial decision to restructure.”
Come now. Anyone who has followed this board for any period of time knows specific parties and posters have gone to great lengths to promote anyone they think might impede KBLB’s market.
“At least they made it onto the NASDAQ exchange on their first try....”
Do you think investors are happy about that at the moment?
Celebrating what certainly looks like a cash grab for insiders? Pretty sad…
Nope, nothing negative about liking a post talking about people complaining!
LMAO
More positivity! It’s as if you are required to remain and vent your frustrations daily, but we all know that can’t be it.
So, why prolong the suffering?
Funny how your quotes never once include a single advancement or success from the company and only highlight the lack of products, revenues and commercial success to date.
Never once positive. Always trying to highlight the negative or shortcomings. There must be a term for that…
lmfao
“And almost a decade since ready for scale and sale”. Missed that one in the filings
What would you consider bashing? Maybe we just need to set a baseline so we know what to look for.
Care to enlighten us?
Lmfao
That doesn’t sound like bashing at all.
Just another neutral observer popping by…
“After waiting for so many years, can you not accept the pace may be more measured than we would all like?”
When have I suggested people shouldn’t be measured in their approach? When have I asserted KBLB is not taking a measured, consistent approach with their PRs and progress this year?
You mistake me questioning your willingness to assert negative outcomes as having an issue with KBLB. Hint: my issue isn’t with them.
“The next three months could well see KBLB break the metric ton production barrier.”
Yep since that is exactly what they have stated with the only updates being the results thus far (this year) have exceeded their expectations. When they say they are a month ahead of schedule and then repeatedly talk about outperforming expectations and accelerating timelines, it leads me to conclude they are ahead of their end of year target.
None of this, of course, has anything to do with you musing about how a photo in a PR with Dr Kumar and automated reeling equipment may in fact have nothing to do with KBLB.
It’s just one of your endless journeys off the discussion path to use words endlessly and unrelated to the original topic.
So much fun
“You have overlooked the numerous posts Truism has thoughtfully provided with links for products by sale that include Spiber’s brewed proteins. I read his posts carefully because they contain useful information about KBLB and their competitors.”
Why are you viewing Spiber as any more a competitor of KBLB’s than anyone else in the luxury street wear space?
When was the last time Spiber mentioned spider silk? They have moved on, you should too.
Finally, have you reviewed their finances lately? Burned through hundreds of millions of dollars and then needed a lifeline from a paint company in Japan.
What about those data points “compares favorably” to KBLB?
“Bolt sold a limited edition tie and a beanie with their silks. Recently I’ve not seen much on the market from them.”
Bolt is throwing deck chairs off the Titanic these days. We can all see it.
Again, “compares favorably” in what way?
For a fat guy you sure are comfortable ignoring it if it doesn’t fit your narrative
For someone so determined to rely on data from the company you sure are comfortable offering up your opinion on what we do know may or may not mean.
For you, an exchange with IR and a PR with a picture showing reeling equipment and Dr Kumar still leaves open the question of whether Kraig is using the photographed equipment with Dr Kumar standing in front of it.
That is some rock solid skepticism. Seems like it will be more than a little challenging for the company to ever provide all of the substantiating data points you will keep claiming you need.
Nice to be able to keep moving the goal posts!
From Diamond Healer:
“*Update* According to KBLB IR, the machinery photographed is FULLY AUTOMATED and production partners in Vietnam are producing purely BAM-1.”
So he is lying, to keep your “we don’t know if the picture used in a KBLB PR is showing us anything related to KBLB or not” theory going?
Man that is a long way to say “Spiber has come up with a non spider silk goo they hope to use in luxury street wear”.
If a company just has to say “luxury street wear is a target market” to be a competitor to KBLB, I think the field can be expanded significantly.
KBLB will be the only one doing so with their spider silk while others are competing for space in the non spider silk offerings.
Good luck to them all.
Weren’t you the one bemoaning other companies being brought up not that long ago? Maybe in relation to Bolt seemingly going belly up as investors try to strip what they can from the carcass?
We are all aware of Spiber, their non spider silk Brewed Proteins and how they have need paint companies, among others, to extend them lifelines
Not entirely sure how any of this is relevant to KBLB.
Maybe, as you suggested regarding Bolt, it would be best discussed in. Spiber forum somewhere, if anyone cares?
Holy cow. Investors are trying to cash what they can out of Bolt. Wow.
LMAO
https://www.kraiglabs.com/kraig-biocraft-laboratories-successfully-completes-recombinant-cocoon-production-from-spring-trials/
“The BAM-1 hybrids have exceeded our expectations thanks in part to our team, our outside consultants, and Dr. Nirmal Kumar’s guidance,” said Company founder and CEO, Kim Thompson. “Initial results have shown faster growth rates, nearly perfect cocooning rates, and larger cocoon size than we have seen even in our own R&D center”
Wow is that ever taking a left turn at Albuquerque from the present discussion.
2018? Ha!
Size, sheen, luster, performance characteristics. It’s all in the PRs. Enjoy!
WRONG AGAIN!
“Yesterday's PR discussed issues with silk yield and cocoon size.”
Did not say anything about “issues with” either. Said they have nearly doubled efficiency and are now focused on making even bigger and better cocoons.
Read earlier PRs this year to find where Bam-1 already far exceeds the mundane silkworm.
“We don’t know how KBLB is reeling their silk. They may be doing it in-house with far more primitive equipment than was shown. “
That seems logical. They share a pic of a method they are not using and then talk about how they have made improvements to the equipment to nearly double efficiency. Logic would follow that the pic shown in their PR has nothing to do with what they are using. SMH
“You are far more trusting of Thompson than I.”
You are far more willing to make up fantastical stories and theories in the absence of every detail being spelled out than I.
Always clamoring for more details but ready to fill in any gaps with your own musings that don’t follow the data presented.
Makes perfect sense to assume Kim and Jon are sitting in the lab reeling by hand when a pic of industrial equipment is shared in a PR.
It’s not rocket science yet no one has ever successfully done it in mass quantities with the Bam-1 worms Kraig is using. Huh
Maybe we should wait for more details before assuming pics used in their own PRs are irrelevant.
“Sorry”
No you aren’t.
Remember, honesty is the best policy!
“Unfortunately, we don’t know if this machine is reeling mundane silk or Bam-1. This photo could have been taken during a visit to this reeler as negotiations were underway for possible future cooperation.”
Let’s just say we want to take the most cautious/conservative stance ever and that Kim decided to use some sort of stock photo while sharing news about the reeling enhancements and near doubling of efficiency Kraig HAS EXPERIENCED using industrial machinery.
At that point, all we would have is knowing Kraig has tweaked the industrial scale machinery and SUCCESSFULLY improved efficiency by nearly double while significantly reducing waste.
Yawn I suppose for some. Just think of all the times previously where Kraig has had production success in a commercial environment.
Yawn.
“The reason that the equipment needed to be modified is because the cocoons are small and problematic.”
Where did this PR or any previous one say the cocoons are small? Let me guess, you’re drawing your own conclusions, again?
“That is why the PR stated "Now we can focus on increasing individual cocoon size". Everyone thought that had been solved many times over the past few years.”
They are always focused on bigger and better cocoons. That will always be happening. See earlier PRs this year where they’ve already talked about how much larger and more robust Bam-1 cocoons are.
“It is also why they are looking for a new hybrid line and stated "selective matings of these top-performing moths will be used to create the next generation of BAM-1 parental line".”
Nowhere did they say they are “looking for” a new hybrid line. Constantly looking to improve, as any good manufacturing operation should.
“The current hybrids just aren't cutting it.”
WRONG AGAIN! I have no interest in the company stopping efforts to evolve and improve. Don’t think that would be a very successful business model, especially in the high tech space.
“Back to the drawing board....”
For you and your gripes? Probably
“Wash, rinse, repeat....”
Is this in reference to your tired attempts to demean and detract? Undoubtedly.
WRONG AGAIN!
“Today's PR revealed that the reeler is having problems with the small cocoons and the share price reflected this.”
Nope. Today’s PR explained how the equipment has been modified, tweaked and enhanced to produce NEARLY DOUBLE the efficiency of output that it was previously. Likely due to Bam-1 silk being a finer silk than mundane, some adjustments were made.
“Under the guidance of renowned sericulture expert Dr. Nirmal Kumar, the Kraig Labs production team modified the processing of its finished silk cocoons, increasing total silk yields per cocoon and improving reeling performance. These mechanical changes to the processing and handling of the Company's spider silk cocoons resulted in a near doubling of reeling efficiency compared to the prior production runs.”
These improvements came “many months” sooner than expected.
Kim, as always (and as any well run business should), is looking for even greater improvement.
“Now we can focus on increasing individual cocoon size, and overall production volumes. I believe that even further gains in possessing yield can be achieved over the next two production cycles."
Progress continues to come and at an accelerated rate. Looks like end of year timelines sit metric tonnage might be getting moved up again.
Uh oh.
Tick tock…
“Admitting KBLB wasn't ready, yet still filed for NASDAQ inclusion, doesn't help support
the wayward stance.”
Man you are trying too hard. Talking about Kim holding off on an uplist effort until he feels he is TRULY ready shouldn’t be something in need of debate.
Yes, Kim pursued an uplist before and was sent back to the drawing board.
Now he knows what is needed and is working to get everything lined up properly this time.
Unlike some, Kim and the company learn from the past, adjust and move forward.
Weren’t you scolding others to try and keep up?
Good advice….
When is the last time you chatted with NASDAQ officials about KBLB? Could it be possible KBLB has tabled discussing an uplist with NASDAQ until they are ready, which they are clearly moving towards as has been shown in each PROGRESSING PR.
Sorry to disappoint but I’m afraid Kim might pull this off, even without your counsel…
Great. Facts are better than opinions pretending to be more.
Opinion noted.
Any reasonable person knows the malcontents are not attempting to discuss the merits of a contract with Kings, if bigger/better options might exist, if the existing contract may need to be renegotiated/extended, etc. they clearly want to be able to state “Fail” on their favorite lists. Whether the contract still exists is different than discussing if it should or if we’d care if it didn’t.
The contract is still in effect, IMO. An initial delivery could very well happen before the end of November, IMO. An initial payment could be made by then, IMO.
Yes, I would prefer if Kraig’s spider silk was headed to a bigger name. I’m sure that will happen and could happen alongside Kings.
Everyone can see what the malcontents are attempting to do. They are wrong so I’m not included to say they’re right.
“The Kings / MtheMovement contract is valid until Nov 2024 (3 months from now).”
Agreed
You are basing your opinion on the lack of Kings being mentioned in the Q and then drawing your own conclusions. That is the definition of lack of data.
Did KBLB state the agreement with Kings has been terminated? If so, please share the link.
No, it doesn’t exist? So, lack of data.
KBLB stated they are terminating the lease at the unused facility. So, they know how to make a statement about a termination. Did they state the same about Kings? No?
Huh
I don’t think what you and Dimes think “makes sense” based on your own interpretation of the lack of data is going to be enough for me to override my own DD which refutes your opinions.
Your argument is:
1. Kings is dead because language is removed. No further confirmation like, say, a statement or note saying “the Kings deal is dead”. We can just connect the invisible, unstated dots
2. Kings ended it because, well, you know, stuff
3. Ben can’t confirm because Kim would get mad at him, it’s illegal (still not sure what that would be) and he’d get fired
What if Ben confirmed the Kings deal is not dead but was just removed as it was no longer considered “current”?
Then Ben is getting fired and he’s lying?
Geez, tough day to be Ben.
Doubt it. Strong preference for unfounded and/or unsubstantiated innuendo. Much easier to just keep never really saying anything while trying to convince people they should be worried or concerned about some unknown.
Are you really trying to downplay the difference between disease resistant/free Bam-1 and what has been used in Vietnam previously?
You really don’t think the robustness KBLB continuously highlights has anything to do with their ability to succeed?
You can’t be that gullible.
As usual, it might be a bit more complicated than you are able to see, or acknowledge.
“15 fricken years he’s toyed with his shareholders while he gets richer …another Maddoff”
And yet here you sit. Claim to know better than get sucked in by this scam but in you stay. FOMO is too strong so, even though you’re frustrated and like to bluster away about how we are just getting played, you CHOOSE to remain invested. Hilarious.
When, in a few weeks, we get news of the first commercial sale of Kraig spider silk and the share price skyrockets, you’ll be chirping Slinger and Truth who will remain determined to be negative.
Again, hilarious!
“In the same light, just because the Douchebag CEO didn't "observe" disease, it doesn't mean that there was no disease.”
Your argument is the CEO is intentionally lying about no disease because, you argue, he did not task anyone with looking for disease among the silkworm population?
The removal of a statement is not the same as announcing the contract has been terminated.
They noted they will be terminating their lease at the facility they aren’t using. So, they know how to state when something is being terminated. Yet with the Kings SPA, they figured just removing the language was enough? Huh.
Removal of old language in a section of the quarterly normally reserved for more current updates does not mean what was there before has now been terminated, ended, etc. it also cannot possibly tell us, if it has ended, who made the decision to do so.
Have you confirmed your suspicions about the Kings contract being terminated by Kings with IR or anyone else associated with the company?
Might be worth digging a little deeper to confirm vs just going with your own unfounded, baseless musings..
How would they know no disease was observed if they weren’t observing?
Only the most stubborn paid malcontent would be trying to come up with some sort of argument on this.
It’s okay to acknowledge the company has made progress. Incremental maybe but progress nonetheless.
Stop the nonsense. Cannot imagine your “all in good faith” defenders are going to back this one…
“Not a single instance of disease or infection was detected at any point during the entire cycle.”
https://www.industryintel.com/bioeconomy/news/kraig-biocraft-laboratories-concludes-spring-production-trials-of-bam-1-recombinant-spider-silk-hybrids-announces-parental-strains-are-ready-for-rapid-production-expansion-ceo-returns-to-us-to-enact-next-stages-of-spider-silk-production-expansion-plan-163206177744
Your OPINION that they haven’t created a disease free silkworm is refuted by the company. So it’s your opinion vs their findings in their tests, observed by local sericulture experts.
Oddly I’m going to lean towards the company on this one….
“Close but no cigar...”
I’d say it’s worth a cigar to have created a disease free silkworm that local experts are surprised and impressed by.
“That isn't speaking to survival rate.”
I think disease free silkworms do speak to survival being improved since disease would likely lead to a lower survival rate.
“Additionally, they are speaking to a single batch.
"One thousand silkworms..."”
Well you have misquoted the article that stated “thousands of silkworms”. I’m sure it was an honest mistake.
“KBLB has, in the past, blamed everything from mulberry leaves to infrastructure (which could mean a plethora of things) and inadequate climate controlling...
There are other possible factors, you know.'”
There are always factors. Which is why there will be continual testing and monitoring, as anyone would expect to see.
“Still identifying "most robust."”
They will likely always be identifying the most robust. I believe that is what quality control is all about. I would think we’d all want and expect ongoing monitoring, testing and improvements when opportunities present themselves.
If you are looking for a spider silk company that is not going to test their product, analyze results and continually look to improve, this may not be the company for you….
