That is the way it looks to me too. I am frustrated that I got caught up in the hype. No more penny stocks for me.
Do you still feel like this is a sleeping Giant? What, if anything makes you feel that way? I would love to at least make back the money I have lost on this stock. It does look like it was a pump and dump in spite of the growing sales. Comments please.
I couldn't handle watching my BLVI/VOXI stock just get washed away and took a huge loss at 10 cents a share. Maybe that is what they want us to do....just go away so they don't have to deal with us anymore. What a scam we Black Art Beer fans fell into. I am trying to pick up the pieces and move on.
What a fool I was to trust BLVI management and continue to hold mega shares of BLVI when John Adams said all is well, hang in there, and this will be good, etc.
When all looked hopeless, something unexpected happened...VOXI took over BLVI. Although they made it difficult to make any money by a reverse split of 10 to 1, our investment was safe at .59 for awhile. Then it fell to .20 and could not move off of that number for a long time. Yesterday, a $200 transaction moved the value of all shares held down by 50%. Unbelievable!
This is the first and last penney stock I will ever hold. Why on earth has is sat idle for all these months. I have never seen a company, startup or otherwise, open up the market to their shares and never buy or sell any. What is the point? Answers from management are nebulous, just like talking to BLVI management.
Why is this stock so stagnant? It is new to the market, you would think that someone would be trading especially if it is bargain priced.
LNGT is a fantastic stock! I have no idea if this technology will ever work for them, since they can't deliver even one unit to market. However, the volatility of this stock has been a great benefit to my portfolio.
There is nothing to report on the Pink Sheets that would be of interest to us investors. What is really important is to keep us informed about developments with the business. 4 months and no real news and no movement on the stock other than a decline from 1.50 down to .20 and holding.
It appears that there is nothing new on this board. We lost our shirts with BLVI, now one has to wonder if VOXI will be the same. Lots of positive vibes, but that is what we thought with BLVI too. I have no choice but to play this one, it is all or nothing this time, no new purchases, just wait and watch my major investment, which has become a minor one, dwindle even further. Or will a miracle happen?
Looking over the management of VOXI and recognizing how much money has been made on internet stocks,I have revised my attitude toward VOXI. My first reaction was how we got duped by BLVI and perhaps some of the posters on this board. But, perhaps what came of this could be way to our advantage. I know very little about the music business, and I saw great potential investing in a new German beer imported to the USA. I was a bit fearful that the shelves are loaded with BEER from all over the USA and the rest of the world. How would BAB stand out among all of those beers you can find in every bar, beer mart, and liquor store. The only way was to depend on BLVI to market agressively. Obviously they were running out of cash and we saw our investment decline to nothing. I kept buying with the hope that the stock would begin to move back up and I could at least break even. Instead of moving up, the management sold out and left us with a new company. This is far better than closing their doors and leaving us with nothing at all.
VOXI offers a real opportunity to get in on the ground floor of an exciting business. The internet has become a way of life. UTube is watched more than TV. Ebay is the largest auction house on earth. Facebook attracts mega millions of people. Reality TV dominates. Who has the newest widget? VOXI is a startup with great potential. The other day I purchased VOXI at $1.50. It has fallen to $.50 but I too believe it has the potential to move way far beyond what BLVI could ever have done. So I have become a believer. I hope my instincts are correct this time. BAB may have done us a favor.
I was motivated to buy BLVI shares because I liked the beer and found this message board. All the shareholders seemed to be excited about the prospects and so I got excited and bought way too many shares. I usually don't make gut decisions in my stock buying, but I did on this one and lost. None of us wanted to listen to those who were panning the stock and telling us it was just a scam. I believed in BLVI because I had personally received email from John Adams reassuring me that the forthcoming news would be good. He never gave me anything more than we are still in business and working hard to make things work for our shareholders. This was deceptive if one believed that he was talking about BLVI. But, perhaps the good for shareholders was all the work getting VOXI on board. My purchasing of the stock was not encouraged by John Adams, but by all of us on this board who were so positive we had found the right penny stock. I am out of penny stocks and learned a hard lesson. My 2.5 million shares are now 25,000 shares of VOXI. This cost me plenty, I was averaging down from 3 cents and had an average of 1.2 cents, so it was a big hit. It is my fault. I can only blame myself for being a bit greedy. But, my 40 years investing have tought me one thing. Don't ever invest more than you can afford to lose. This was far more than I intended to lose, but at least we have a small chance that some of our investment may be returned thru VOXI. I hope we see something good come from our new company. We could have been left with a company that went out of business and our stock would be completely worthless.
Thank you for your in-depth response. The whole BLVI/VOXI deal makes mores sense to me now. Do you believe that VOXI did this to fast track themselves to the NASDAQ? Also, why have no shares traded in VOXI, is this normal?
Thank you for your insights. What has been your general experience with companies that do reverse splits and specifically, those that reverse and change their entire corporate structure from one business to an entirely different business? Does this happen often?
All the negative messages appear to have been true. What happened to no dilution of the shares, the good news promised by John Adams, etc. Now we are in the music business. I sure hope they give us some information about the transaction and how it is supposedly good news. We may have all been duped. A reverse splil leaves us with a lot less shares to increase the value of our portfolio. I believe we may have a write off for 2010. What a crock of ---- we have been receiving from John Adams.
Since no one believes messages received from BAB, I almost did not post today. But, I did hear from John Adams. He apologized for not getting the info out yesterday and it is rescheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday. He was told to briefly hold up on the release. I think we are seeing the least espensive BLVI shares we will ever see again. But, I am an optomist and believe we are waiting for good news.
I started trading in 1971. Have won and lost many times over the years. I am optomistic over BLVI but would never invest more than I can afford to lose.
Call me crazy, but I believe there will be good news on Monday. We have been waiting since July for news and the few responses that any and all of us have received to our emails have been positive. The pink sheets will be updated Monday and there will be a stockholder message. I am looking forward to a Merry Christmas message instead of hold your breath, the sky is falling.
We shall see on Monday.
I don't believe Al has any shares, he justs likes to complain and to get everybody's gander up. I have 2,500,000 shares averaged down to .0125 fom a high of twenty cents. Needless to say, I would like to see some movement in the right direction here. Every little move up or down is a major move for my cash position in this stock.
Those of you who do not believe, please sell your stock now! Those of us who do believe, we're in for a great ride soon. Don't trust the company, then sell, please. Bad vibes beget worse vibes. Unfortunately, good vibes do not instill confidence. So, while many of us plan to hang in for the long haul, if you can't take the heat, then get out of the kitchen. Things are looking good at BLVI. Right now they are under great scrutiny to do everyting to the letter of the law. Disclosure is not available yet.
An owner spends $270,000 of his own money, management draws no salary, and works for more than 2 years to bring the product to market; does this sound like a business that can not afford $500 for a business license? I for one am simply tired of hearing all the downside risks of holding BLVI. I have plenty of money tied up here and I think it is well-spent in spite of the fact that it is way down in value right now.
Why do you skeptics hang around? If you don't trust anyone on this board, the management, and you can't sleep at night, just sell your stock and let us sink or swim with the stock.
Al, If you make your shares available for sale at what you consider them to be worth (worthless) you will have plenty of opportunities to sell them to members on this board. When we all lose our shirts, you can be so glad you got rid of those worthless shares. But, my guess is that even you have a "feeling" that you made a good investment and you have no intention of letting your shares go at these deep discounted prices tody (assuming you own any shares at all).
Fantastic...thanks for sharing
Thanks Florida Boy: Liberty Bell Beverage 610-799-6600 ask for Patrick, he and others have been wondering when they will get Black Art Beer and are looking forward to it.
If you are so skeptical about the company and don't trust a single word from management, then why do you hold the stock? I would drop it like a hot potato. You are driving all of us crazy. Some of us have faith in the company and I for one am quite happy that I got that response. As I said in my private reply, I do not plan to share information I receive anymore.
I don't know if this is so, but did you ever consider that Liberty could be the problem, and that another distibutor could be in the works?
I shared the information I received, I did not state that a shipment has actually been made to Liberty. My concern about Liberty and all the skepticism on this board prompted me to write and I got a response, because I did not criticize the company and because I am a concerned shareholder.
I thought the information was useful. You apparently did not. I will not share information I receive in the future.
I am down $18,000, and I too am very concerned about the lack of solid information. I know that the skeptics out there will say that the information I am going to share with you is about as reliable as the check is in the mail, but I feel that I should share it anyway.
October 12, 2010 Response to my inquiry to John Adams
"With regard topress, we are going to get something out as soon as the facts are in oder, it will be good.
Liberty is our distributor in PA and we are about to ship them a container of beer so it will be out soon.
Parties will be discussed with Liberty once the beer is received.
As for the Phillies, I agree and look forward to being part of the support system for them.
I am sure before the end of the year you will have a brew, but you may be watching the Eagles."
Since the beer has not been distributed to Liberty and there have been concerns as to whether or not it will be, and because the skeptics are running rampant on this board and I am concerned about my investment too, I sent John another email. I did not chastize him or the company, just asked a simple question? "Can you please give me some peace of mind?" I feel like my investment in BLVI may be doomed.

"We are still here and close to a major piece of really good news for shareholders" John
I don't know about you guys, but I take this as a very positive step forward and it gives me hope for the future of this stock. John can't give me or anyone else information other that something like this response. I am holding my stock!
I am not an insider, have no idea who this management team is and why they are so slow in releasing information. I wish that we would get some information because I have plenty of money tied up in this stock. I kept averaging down, but I am still way down. So I have stopped buying and just started waiting just like the rest of the poor souls on this board.
I used to enjoy reading this board because I felt a little better about my decision to buy BLVI. The longer management holds off on making any announcements, I too begin to worry. I like to be optomistic but, with daily slamming of old participants on this board, and the critcism of the BAB management and implications that everything is a pack of lies, this board has become frustrating, rather than informative.
Before the constant negativity, we often received a small bit of information from management. Now we seem to get none. I think there is a corelation. Who wants to give information to a bunch of non-believers. If you don't like the company, just sell your stock and be done with it. If you are hopeful and think that there is some good money to be made here, then there is no reason to be so negative.
My rebellious 16 year old has grown up to become a very successful business woman (and a wonderful daughter, I might add) who now has a rebellious 16 year old daughter who drives her crazy. She tells me stories and I remind her that she was just about the same. She asks me how could I stand her. My rebellious 16 year old son, now is now 35 years old and owns his own construction company. My youngest was never rebellious and is also a succesful business woman married to a Orthopaedic surgeon. They are all happily married with kids who will become rebellious.
Let's hope that we get some good BLVI news before Christmas, but one thing is for sure; news coming from them is a slow as Christmas.
LNGT ASK .25 Love It!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Let's prepare to celebrate.
I see some light at the end of the tunnel. Gen Dynamics wouldn't put Daser Laser on their website unless it is a GO!
Good to see you back here at BLVI messages. Wish we had good news, but at least we can all wait in the same boat while we are still afloat. I just hope they start that damn engine soon so we can get back to shore and enjoy a Black Art beer or two.
A few of the regulars on this board are laying low. Actually, this gets to be very frustrating just waiting for Management to simply release information and I don't blame them from staying away. But, I miss reading their posts. Hope to see you back here when we are making some money.
The General Dynamics page was dated 10/21/2010...Great Find!
I lost a lot of money last year when General Motors went bankrupt. First they stopped the dividend I was used to, they said the Chevrolet Volt would be on the market by 2009 and would change the automobile market forever. Then they declared bankruptcy. I also held GE with the thought that the dividends would go on for ever as they said they would. But, they cut their dividend to the bone. So, my safe bet was BP - Great Dividends- largest company in Great Britain, held by pension funds world wide, but we all know what happened to BP. My point is that they all lie, and uncontrollable things happen.
LEI is no exception. Stretching the truth seems to be the rule rather than the exception here, but it seems to be a viable company with a feasible product.
Kingthorpe's message was more full of BS than any message from LEI.
I don't know any of the owners of LEI, nor any of the people who write messages on this board, but I do have a nice investment in this company and so do many of my friends. The product seems to be a good alternative to more lethal measures and would be great aboard an aircraft, in a prison or crowd situation, and many other places. I think it is viable and should be given a chance. Knocking the product, the management, and the company doesn't seem like a good idea if you hold shares of LNGT.
As a long term holder of LNGT stock, I second Maskedman's motion. I believe the Dazer Laser has an excellent chance of making us some money. But, it doesn't help to bash every hype offered by those who are trying to sell the product. As sales people it is their job to promote the positive in spite of "feelings" about what is going on. I want to see this product succeed and make some serious dough. We should at least attempt to stay positive. I think that if we believed the product was going to fail, we would have bailed out long ago. It is sad to think that the founder of this company is not going to be able to share the success of his company with his parents, when he has worked so long and so hard to accomplish a goal we can only dream of. If he becomes a winner, we all are winners. My condolences to Bob for the loss of his mother.
The remaining shares are held in the company treasury. They can be issued but it would not be in their best interest to issue the shares at current prices and dilute the market for BLVI shares even further.
600,000,000 Authorized Shares
198,000,000 Held by owners
31,000,000 Float (available to investors)
See pink sheets.
Shorts, if you know someone who holds 70 million shares and he is not one of the principles of the company then the information in the pink sheets is incorrect. Please contact your friend with the mega shares and ask him to help us. Also, I am older than you so I need the bucks sooner. Ha!
Now that there are so few trades each day, I think that those of us on this board own most, if not all of the 31 million shares available for trading. If we own the stock at an average of say 1.5 cents, we have tied up $465,000 of our money waiting for good news. In the process, we have watched the shares fall by 2/3 so that our investment is now worth approximately $160,000. We have been through many emotional hurdles for a long time. Management knows lots of things they are not sharing. They say the news is all good, and that keeps us feeling like something big is just around the corner. So we remain on an emotional roller coaster not knowing whether to hold on or bail out while there is some value left.
Management, I hope you read our posts. In spite of our intense concern, we have stayed positive (for the most part) on this board. We do so because we believe in the product and the probability that it will make a hit with the beer drinking public, if only they can get it in their hands. Great ads and promotions will put Black Art Beer on the map. Then we will all be happy. It is agonizing waiting for news. We plead with you to release some good news. We are dying out here!!!!
True! It is like the check is in the mail. But, if it is in the mail, are we all in a better position than we are now? And why did he end his statement with "it will be good?" He could have stopped his reply before making this statement.
I am very optomistic that BLVI will be a good investment. Just wish that information was forthcoming immediately.
The beer is excellent!
I wrote an email to John Adams and he responded: "With regard to press we are going to get something out as soon as the facts are in order, it will be good."
For a long time this board has had a positive attitude in spite of a downward spriral in the stock price. Obviously this has been annoying to every stock holder on this board. Some of us have averaged down to bring our holding in line with the current pricing. It may take awhile to get back to the .20 level, but most of us who communicate on this board believe that it will come back strong very soon. There has been no official communication from BAB for a long time, but there have been several text messages and unofficial communications that give us some degree of hope that all is well with BAB. The financials that were shown on the pink sheets spelled out the direction of the company last month, and we hope to receive some confirmation about the commercials, Kroger stocking the beer, and other information in the near future. I personally appreciate the help and involvement of members of this board, without them, we would hear nothing at all and would be worried about our investment. Bashing those who are trying to keep us informed, (and have a great deal to lose if the stock fails) will only make them more likely to keep the limited info they have to themselves. I would lose many dollars if this stock fails, and I am greatful to those who are keeping me informed.
Nice spike to .007, good volume, let's hope it holds. I am looking forward to a celebration soon. I don't count on much until management releases information about sales and commercials, but I will take any positive drive forward as good news. We have seen this before but it did not hold.
