Not true.
I am employed by a large automotive manufacturer in the Niagara area. Plant tours are few and far between... the general public as a rule are rarely given the opportunity to see behind the factory walls.
Just sayin'
Please add my name too. Thank you !
What? St. Louis and Buffalo aren't in the same country?
When did they change that?
I hadn't received my control number either... but I called JBI today, spoke with Chris and he was back to me in less than an hour with my control number. Just finished voting.
I'm experiencing the same thing. Seems to be in intermittent problem.
I'm a JBI long and strong. I was simply reiterating some of the FUD that I'd read on this board today. Like Rawnoc... I was pointing out how ludicrous some of the 'theories' are on here. I have nothing but the utmost respect for Chris and the magnificent job that he's been doing for this company.
I couldn't be a happier JBI shareholder.
Hopefully that clears things up.
Oh. Here I was thinking that it was the incompetent chimpanzee of an IR guy that set up the twitter account and leaked the super secret info so he would lose his job to the non existent twitter account person that he himself created.
Thanks for clarifying that for me!
Don't see how that tweet indicates that Chris is on his way out. It's a congratulatory tweet... not a pink slip for Chris.
Link please? (Other than the tweet)
Lovely way to start a Wednesday morning! This just makes me smile.
Never a doubt in my mind.
Might help out with this mess

JBI's possibilities are endless !!
Looking forward to what the next few weeks brings.
Welcome back!
I'm pretty sure that even a PhD wouldn't qualify him (to some) as the IR guy... lol.
Just PhDin !!
I most certainly wasn't suggesting that she was qualified for Chris' job... merely saying she wasn't "unqualified" for her current position as a Marketing Manager because she had a prior job as a "bartender".
My goodness.... I was simply stating that one shouldn't discount a person because of their prior work experience.
Thanks for the reading material though!
My daughter, who has an honours university degree in Marketing and Communications spent 3 years as a bartender because jobs just weren't available at the time. She is now a very successful marketing manager for a large winery in Niagara.
I wouldn't consider her unqualified because she spent time bartending... You know as well as I do that bills have to be paid, rent has to be collected, and food has to be eaten.
I find it ridiculous that JBI's IR person (who by the way is doing a stellar job) is discounted because he pulled a few draughts and poured a few shots.
Right on! Couldn't agree more with everything you've said.
Well said.
The crossed-eyed controversy has nothing to do with the business at hand.
The current Canadian loonie is made of nickel... soon to change (if it hasn't already) to steel. It's a coin... not a plastic paper bill.

Well said.
No OSC summons in this Canadian pipeholder's mail box
This 'lil Canadian' thanks you for your "real" Discovery channel concern. It's nice to know you have my best interest at heart.
Lol... not this again !
So I'm guessing not only was the segment on JBI irrelevant, but all of these were too because they weren't on the REAL Discovery Channel:

Wow... the Discovery Channel Canada did a segment on the iPad3 !!!!! Imagine that!
Great to see some exposure as a result of the Discovery Channel feature. So much for the theory that no one would view it!!
Just did a quick search on LePage agents in the Niagara Area ... couldn't find a Coy (Jr. or Sr.) listed as an active agent...
http://www.royallepage.ca/AgentSearch/AgentResults.aspx?Location=649
Again... the photo is outdated. It's appears to be of the blending facility... and as I said...drove by late last week and there was nary a sign in sight.
What's your point anyway?
I don't know.... why don't you ask him?
What does that have to do with an outdated photo anyway?
It's March... there are no leaves on the trees and/or dandelions in the grass at this time of year in Niagara. Give us another month or so.
Drove by the property late last week... sorry to dispel this latest 'theory'.. but alas... there wasn't a for sale sign to be seen.
You don't know that investors won't pay any attention to it. (just as I don't know they will)
However, if JBI is good enough for CPIA to be showing an interest and "watching JBI very closely", it might be something that unjaded eyes deem worth investigating.
I'll let you have the last word as I'm tired of this silly argument.
JBI was on the Discovery Channel. Period.
How can you be SO sure that only teenie boppers (i.e. the WRONG demographic) watched it?
Yes... there are links indicating the Daily Planet demographics but that doesn't change the fact that it was AIRED on the Daily Planet on the Discovery Channel Canada.
If 10 'adults' watched it and told 10 other adults and so on and so on and so on.. we're looking at exposure that we didn't have before. No matter how small you might think that is.. exposure is exposure.
I've shared it with at least 10 of my associates and at least 10 of my friends and family. You know what? They were ALL impressed. People from various walks of life and various age groups. Smart people.
As minimal and laughable as YOU think this exposure is.. I have to ask myself why it ties your knickers in such a big knot.
I especially like this quote from the CPIA "Who We Are" page...
"We have also worked with governments across the country on a number of ground-breaking recycling initiatives"
Not a bad "Industry Association" to have spreading the JBI word!!
An opinion I don't share with you.
And I don't think Mr. Greg Wilkinson does either.
Fact is... it was on Discovery Channel Canada.
That doesn't make it any LESS REAL.
Who's whining? Certainly isn't me. Not after seeing that segment yesterday!
So... the Discovery Channel in Canada isn't REAL because it isn't the Discovery Channel in the US?
Don't know about anyone else...but the liquid gold I saw in that Canadian segment looked pretty REAL to me.
Must be my Canadian tv.
Ridiculous!
Everyone knows they're now working from a VAN... down by the RIVER !!
LOL !
My name is on that list and I must inform you that you are IN NO WAY positioned to put words in my mouth. Please refrain from ever doing so again.
Seatbelt firmly fastened !!
Mind telling us how (or why) you came to that conclusion???
Pretty harsh statement. Perhaps you should cough up some of that evidence to support your theory?
Thank you for posting that!
Extremely well said !
