Sometime in the future we are going to read a news release that says something like this..."for every 10 shares you own, you will now have 1 share in this roll back"....
It's like getting a fresh new start with fresh new investors that will come in because explore will only have 50 million shares outstanding....
What a great idea!!!!! I say we do it now CD, so it's only 5 for 1 instead of 10 for 1 next year....
Jmo
No... There would be no news to report. It would just be members of the drill team liking what they saw come out of the cores... And thereby speculating on what they've seen by purchasing stock in the open market. News release won't come until assays have come back from the lab... Jmo
I would think that if the drill crew on KC has been pulling up good looking core then we would see a spike in volume and a small increase in shareholder value... I'm not seeing anything... PB- you hearing anything on how the core looks coming up?
I want to bring up the 43-101 again... We have to wait for all those people to sign off on it and its just tough to do and takes a lot of time.. Yada yada yada... Why is it only this time. They seemed to have no trouble 7 months ago, or a year ago when the first one was released.
Still doesn't sit right with me... I hope I'm wrong though... They will probably wait until drilling starts at Kidd Creek before they will release the 43-101. They will do that hoping that KC anticipation will boost share price and a 43-101 under 1.5 million won't be that big a deal at that point because the focus on traders minds will be on KC.
Definitely speculation on my part... Just isn't sitting well with me because this has been a common theme for the last 4 years... They give us a date on something and its always a month or more later...
I get the feeling CD is going shallow because now he has to with dilution. It's cheaper. He's stuck between a rock and a hard spot. If we were at a $1, you can bet he would still be drilling deep. I also get the feeling the 43-101 is being delayed because its less than what they expected. Very similar to what happened when the stock went over $1.50... They delayed the release and sent the results "back to the lab" to make sure.... Just my gut feeling... Hope I'm wrong... Where's the money coming from to drill the 10,000 meters....
If I remember right I think they already budgeted the funds for the Kidd drilling within the current funds that they have... I could be wrong though...
Thanks AGB....
Anybody know how cold it's been up at Kidd Creek? And if we are going to get a freeze this year?
I'll say again the same thing I and Pastorboy have said many times before... At this point I think our best bet is going to be Kid Creek to save the company... Lets hope this freeze comes in... Then we'll see how good CD really is... I really don't think it was hard for CD to find gold at TPW being there has been plenty of past historical work and over 2000 meters of strike length...
Is it just me or does anybody else feel this way.... I think the market is already banking and showing its valuation in the share price for 1.5 million ounces in the next 43-101. Explor seems to always under perform from expectations given... What happens to the share price when we come in at 1.3 million ounces at the next resource update??? Down a 20% from where we are now?
I probably did... Lol... You live and you you learn.... I sold pretty much everything at 40 and have been buying back between here and 20...
Round of drilling... Not Roy D.... And by the way... I was one that purchase some at $1.08
Thank you slim... I get so sick of people blaming others for blindly following what some guy says instead of learning and understanding markets and fundamentals... When explor was over a dollar, drill results hadn't been released and rumor was they had hit a glory hole their first round of drilling. McCoach said to buy up to a dollar. If they had hit a glory hole their first Roy d of drilling you would have seen a $5 stock and those pissed off now would have been licking mcCoachs feet... Goes back to risk.... There is risk in everything.... Do your own homework and make your own decisions and live with it...
That would be the definition of insanity! Doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results....
So did we find out that results were sent back for a double check?
It's amazing what pride can do to someone... He has plenty of money anyways. So if pride is the issue here, I wouldn't put it past him for one second...
Havent been here much lately but if I had to guess who was selling.... i would say it is Mr. Malim???? does anybody know how many shares he was given? And if hes pissed off at CD and Explor.... What better way then to destroy the price for the time being. He doesnt have to report any selling now that he is not on the board...
You might be right on that as well...
I think he was one who disagreed with all the dilution... Just my thoughts though.
I didnt have near as many shares as a lot on this board but I sold 2/3's of my shares... I couldn't take the dilution risk anymore for as much as I had invested... Still believe, but spreading some risk.. I had broke the cardinal rule and gone all in.. Sure learned my lesson...
Well thank you very much...
I mean.... its not like its a secret.... Mining Junkie just told everybody exactly whats going on.... sell into the news, be apart of the next PP at a low price, gain in percentage of ownership in the company. Simple as that...
The people who continue to sell into the news to stop the price in its tracks, are the same people who have been involved in the PP's. They have so many shares they can throw up 500,000 shares on news of a glory hole, a good 43-101, etc.... scare some retail investors and push the price back down. The People involved in the private placements could care less about the dilution, because when there is dilution is doesnt matter. They are the ones continuing to buy up all the shares at these prices through the PP's. So in all reality its only the retail investor who sees the dilution. The PP investors gain in the percentage of ownership in the company while the retail investor loses in percentage. They dont care how many shares outstanding there is. They care about percentage of the company when it comes to their shares. They dont look at it in "how many shares they own"........ just my thoughts that everybody should hear.... and they still make 20-100% selling a bunch of shares at .50 cents, .85 cents, etc... before being part of the next PP at .30, .40 cents....
Mining Spec update is out....
It also looks like someone is trying real hard to keep the share price below the 200 day moving average..... I also want to point out one of the bold pieces from the release,
"It should be noted that more than 50% of the grades reported in this press release are greater than 2.20 g/tonne." (our used Cut-off for the 43-101)
Thats huge as well. Thats a whole lot of gold that will be added to the 43-101 in December. We've never had a release with grades all over the board that are as high... thus the need CD felt to include that bold piece...
Im willing to make a good guess that when MDO and McCoach post an update on explor and explain the significance of this hit at such low depths, thats when we'll see the biggest increase.
Hey PB...
On your home made scale that lands us right at 895.44.... I would say thats pretty dang close to Lake shores glory hole.... TMehl
Thank you Gmoney... Those are my thoughts exactly... I didn't want to get involved in the CD discussion, but..... EOM
McCoach update is out
Good to know.... Thanks MJ
I sure hope it doesn't matter.... I would just love to be surprised by a couple holes that just blows all the other holes out of the water which causes a bidding frenzy by the majors even without a second 43-101.... Or to hit something at Kidd which takes our focus completely off TPW for the time being.
I may be wrong but didn't the first 43-101 not only contain the first 35 holes, but it also contained all the drilling done by the previous companies.... How many of the previous holes were included.... I don't know, but my guess is that, that is why CD said he doesn't think we'll hit the 1.5 million mark in June. I believe there were over 100 holes previously drilled by other companies... That could be a question for Gary. "How many of the previous holes from other companies were included in the 43-101?"... I'm going to guess in June we are about at 1.35 million ounces... I could be way off though. I hope CD is just being ultra conservative...
PB, the cores aren't coming back as they thought? Are you talking about the grade of the cores coming back or the timing of the cores coming back.... Like... They thought the cores would be back by this time but they re not?
I dont think we'll get that much out of it unless CD can prove up 1/2+ of 30 million ounces before the Property gets taken out. And i guess CD could theoretically just keep drilling and ignore any offers made, which he could have already done, we dont know. Lets stick to what CD has said.... build up 2-3 million ounces and then vend it off. I do think we will get a premium somewhere between 5-7 million ounces though would be my guess... sold between 10% and 30% of the in situ... I could be completely off my rocker though. Like has been said on here before, Im looking to see anywhere between $3 and $10 dollars for TPW. I hope its more and we see something like that $25 you mentioned. I think thats dreaming though.... Kinda like the $3-$8 revaluation of the Iraqi dinar thats being touted...
Just a thought...
I like to play the other side of things so that I can get a realistic view of my investments. I did that with explor this morning. The only negative I can come up with is Time and Money (shareholder dilution) its going to take to prove up so many ounces.
So my thought is this... Whats another 50 million shares of dilution (If we even need to get to that point) on a geological structure that holds, lets say, 30 million ounces of gold at $1600/ounce ($48 Billion in situ). The $100 million to put the shaft into the ground is peanuts to major who wants to get at that gold.
Even at only 5 million ounces of mineable gold..... thats $8 billion of in situ.... even then, a $100 million shaft down is nothing for a major...
Now lets compare that to whats going on in the Yukon..... How much is it going to cost to develop the Infrastructure needed to produce all the gold they are finding up there.... Do you think it could be more than $100 million dollars?..... I would venture to say that it is going to cost a whole lot more than that.... Explor on the other hand.... Thats one of the best things about the property!
Yeah PB.... If i remember correctly there were around 100 or so drill holes previously drilled from the previous owners of the property. with that being said though, those holes were all shallow holes, no the high grade like we re seeing now....
Yeah.... I don't think these options really have anything to do with any results that should be released sometime soon. But in all reality, with the consistency of these last years drill results, I can't imagine these upcoming results being worse than what we've regularly seen this past year. My guess is that we will see somewhere between Good to Great....
But I don't think that is anything new to anybody here. We'll continue to have the ounces drilled up while we all wait patiently. I think the only real short term excitement is if we will hit a glory hole, and thats the real unknown excitement that we all know could be possible... Long term excitement.... 6+ months (that's My long term for right now I decided)... 43-101's, millions of ounces indicated and inferred, and buyout....
The funny thing is.... I'm more excited to see if we can hit a glory hole in the next six months, and that's probably because I already feel pretty comfortable in the ability of CD to prove up his 2-3 million ounces.
You're right..... A consistent (not consistant) decline has been brutal to Explor... As well as the consistent decline to about a thousand other Jr Mining shares. Please save us the complaining about the share price, when across the board all the other Juniors are down just as much or more from their highs back in the spring. This is market weakness in the sector we are dealing with right now, not company weakness.
Maris, Maris, ohhhh Maris.... Haha... You crack me up... you've seen how fast the price can go up.... .21 to .48 in 2 days.... That's over 120%.... Instead of complaining, just learn to play the Explor Resource Market. It's easy money!!!! If you learn anything from reading this post.... The volatility in explor tells you in itself the potential the company holds. I don't play the explor market because one of these times that share price might just explode and not come back down... Better safe than sorry...
