MYM Subsidiary, Sublime Culture Inc., Receives Cannabis Cultivation License from Health Canada
VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Jan. 31, 2020 – MYM Nutraceuticals Inc., (CSE: MYM) (OTC: MYMMF) (“MYM” or “The Company”) is pleased to announce its subsidiary, Sublime Culture Inc., has received a cultivation license from Health Canada to produce cannabis at its indoor facility located in Laval, Quebec.
The Laval facility is a cutting edge, highly optimized, indoor facility that is complete and ready to cultivate high-quality, specialty “craft” cannabis varieties. Included is a mothering and cloning area allowing for exceptional genetic development and archiving.
“We are extremely excited to receive our cultivation license for the Sublime facility in Laval, Quebec. We are eager to put our team to work on cultivating small batch, super premium, indoor cannabis” said Howard Steinberg, CEO of MYM.
Is this one dead? Ugh.
News out on LOI to take over CROP. I like the path being traveled with this Co. News on licensing issuance for Laval opens the gates. $mymmf
I'd bet yes. Once that is issued all focus can move toward Weedon facility. They prob thought Laval was going to be issued much quicker and had Weedon progress moving in parallel based on that. Then pulled the reins back when Laval became stagnated. I like the other company initiatives being made in the interim as well. When the wheels get going again, this one runs fast.
Someone knows something!
Once Laval is licensed, everything done there will go towards helping the stalled Weedon project. Once Weedon Phase 1 finished and ready, then they can submit for Licence. Problem lies with Health Canada and the process for license issuance.... not the Co. The Co is doing everything to keep the ducks in order. Current PPS is not reflective of what they have lined up. It's reflective of impatient investors.
VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Oct. 24, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- MYM Nutraceuticals Inc., (CSE: MYM) (OTCBB: MYMMF) ("MYM" or the "Company") is pleased to provide an update on the progress of the Sublime Inc. cannabis cultivation facility located in Laval, Quebec.
As per the Company's press release dated September 27, 2019, Health Canada requested minor updates. The Company has now responded to Health Canada's requests for updated information and clarification on the cultivation application.
"In our communication with Health Canada, we were asked to provide updated information on our application," said Howard Steinberg, CEO of MYM. "The team moved quickly to satisfy Health Canada's requests and we're now confident our application is complete. We look forward to receiving our license for the Laval facility shortly."

anything under a buck is still a steal for this stock. pay it and keep it for long term wealth. They have facilities and as soon as licenses come...pop. Should be soon. $MYMMF
Response.
“We are still waiting on Health Canada to issue our Licenses. They have no timelines. So we wait.
They have told us that we are in the Fast Track System that they developed.
Laval is built out and totally ready for production. But without the license we cannot put seed to soil.
Several investors are asking the same questions, then they phoned H/C and asked what the back log is all about.
H/C would not answer their questions.
Once we get the License for Laval we can finish the build out for Weedon.”
Wasn't it around the same time last year MYMMF spiked? humm... time to get a licence and run....
Long and Strong in this... I buy every two weeks. When this runs it will run big. I have friends in Canada and they indicate everyone there is familiar with MYMMF. There may be a bunch of applications in, however, most companies won't be ready if when license is issued. MYMMF will be. Weedon has no interest in letting such a massive project fail when they have been in full support since the inception. Canada legalization is still in its infancy. People have nooooo patience and the Shorts..well,,, shorts are shorts. Eventually they be burned. Pun intended.
ALERT. 25 Million Investment to MYMMF. NEWS

MYM’s Subsidiary, Sublime Culture Inc., Completes Migration to Health Canada’s Cannabis Tracking and Licensing System
Vancouver, B.C., November 29, 2018 – MYM Nutraceuticals Inc., (CSE: MYM) (“MYM”) is pleased to announce that its subsidiary, Sublime Culture Inc., has completed its migration to Health Canada's Cannabis Tracking and Licensing System, or CTLS. The CTLS is a public facing web application that enables the submission of new license applications, request for amendments and license renewals in addition to submission of monthly tracking reports.
The oversight of the cannabis supply chain is a shared responsibility across many federal, provincial and territorial departments, industry and other stakeholders. One of Health Canada's responsibilities is to track the flow of cannabis as a means of preventing the illegal inversion and diversion of cannabis into and out of the regulated system. Under this tracking system, a holder of a license for cultivation, a license for processing, or a license for sale for medical purposes is required to submit monthly reports to Health Canada.
Another of Health Canada's responsibilities is to monitor patient access to cannabis for medical purposes. Again, where applicable, a holder of a license for sale for medical purposes is required to submit relevant information to Health Canada on a monthly basis.
“We are pleased that our subsidiary, Sublime Culture, has completed the migration to Health Canada’s new CTLS platform,” said Rob Gietl, CEO of MYM. “Now that Sublime Culture is compliant with the new guidelines, we are eager to receive our license for the Laval, Quebec facility and to begin production.”

Canada’s government is poised to approve sweeping cannabis legalization as soon as this week and could launch marijuana sales by late summer.
The Canadian Senate, the members of which are appointed rather than elected, is likely to OK a legalization measure Thursday after years of quiet study and discussion. After House approval, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s government expects to launch legal sales as soon as 10 to 12 weeks from now.
Canada’s approach differs from that taken in the USA, where nine states and the District of Columbia have legalized cannabis, but there hasn't been a substantive national discussion about the widely used drug. As part of legalization, the Canadian government will probably inform citizens that admitting to marijuana use might get them barred from crossing the border into the USA, which classifies cannabis as a Schedule 1 drug with "no currently accepted medical use and a high potential for abuse," according to the Drug Enforcement Administration.
“We’ve very much learned from the early mistakes made by some U.S. states and other jurisdictions,” said Canadian Sen. Tony Dean, an independent who sponsored the bill in the Senate. “We know we have a national challenge with cannabis. We have some of the highest youth consumption rates in the world, an illegal cannabis market worth upward of $6 billion annually, we know it’s harmful for kids, especially younger kids … and we had a government that wanted to tackle those issues.”
Trudeau and his Liberal Party included marijuana legalization as part of their 2015 campaign, and his government has worked toward creating a structure for recreational cannabis sales and consumption since taking office. Medical marijuana has been legal in Canada since 2001, and many U.S.-based cannabis companies have jockeyed for position in that market with an eye toward broader legalization.

Recreational marijuana sales in Canada could be worth $3.3 billion by 2027, in part because businesses will find it easier to work nationally, instead of piecemeal like in the USA. Uruguay is the only other country to legalize marijuana; many countries have decriminalized it but prohibit sales.
Canada’s regulations, which are being finalized, would permit people as young as 18 to buy marijuana from regulated stores and to grow small amounts at home, depending upon which province or territory they live in. The draft rules call for setting aggressive targets for reducing youth cannabis use, creating national standards for potency testing and packaging and setting tax rates low enough to undercut the black market.

By legalizing marijuana at the federal level, the Canadian government sets the stage for more traditional investment while assuring entrepreneurs they can use banks like any other business. In the USA, many cannabis companies must conduct their operations with cash because banks worry the federal government will target them as drug traffickers.
“Canada is creating a normal industry. What we have in the United States is a very abnormal industry,” said Roy Bingham, the CEO and co-founder of cannabis data firm BDS Analytics. “In Canada, you see tobacco, alcohol, pharmaceutical companies, all these mainstream industries interested in getting involved.”
Bingham said many European countries are closely watching how legalization rolls out in Canada, even though California has more residents and a bigger marijuana marketplace: “It’s a respectable, well-regulated country with a democracy that people admire.”
That’s bad news to Kevin Sabet, who runs the U.S.-based anti-legalization group Smart Approaches to Marijuana. Sabet has consulted with Trudeau’s government about his concerns over marijuana edibles, potency and the speed at which the country is moving toward broader cannabis access. His group warns that widespread marijuana legalization will create an industry similar to “Big Tobacco” with untold public health costs.
“They’re being more deliberative than the U.S., yes, but that doesn’t mean they have the secret sauce,” Sabet said. “There are considerable concerns with how Canada is normalizing marijuana.”
The plan discussed by the Canadian Senate this week lacks one major policy point many advocates pushed for: expunging the criminal records of people convicted for minor marijuana crimes. In California, which launched legal sales Jan. 1, some prosecutors wiped away those records, and prosecutors in Seattle seek to do the same.
Dean said the Trudeau government assured the Senate it would address the issue of criminal records once the law was in place. He said that after decades of prohibition, Canada’s government is ready to treat marijuana and its users differently.
“It’s a sophisticated piece of public policy that focuses on tackling challenges that were decades in the making,” he said. “We were frankly looking the other way for decades.”

MYM Corporate Update: Sublime Culture Inc. ACMPR Cultivation License Under Final Review With Health CanadaFont size: A | A | A
8:30 AM ET 5/9/18 | Dow Jones
VANCOUVER, British Columbia, May 9, 2018 /CNW/ -- MYM Nutraceuticals Inc., (CSE: MYM) (CSE: MYM.CN) (OTC: MYMMF) (the "Company" or "MYM") is pleased to provide the following update regarding the Sublime Culture Inc. ACMPR production facility located in Laval, Quebec.
The Sublime Culture Inc. Laval facility has been completed as per ACMPR standards and guidelines. Sublime Culture submitted the Confirmation of Readiness for a License to Health Canada on December 15, 2017. Since this time, Sublime has worked closely with Health Canada to ensure that all further inquiries into the project have been satisfied. The Sublime Culture ACMPR license application is currently in the queue awaiting final review from Health Canada.
"The Company is satisfied that Sublime Culture Inc. has provided Health Canada with all the necessary information in order for them to move ahead with the license application," said Rob Gietl, CEO of MYM. "The completed Laval facility is currently 10,000 square feet. Phase two of the project will see the growing capacity increased to 37,000 square feet by the end of 2018. We have been advised by Health Canada that our application is in the final review stage. We are looking forward to beginning production at the facility and building value for our shareholders, the City of Laval, and Province of Quebec."
Come back next year... we'll see where we stand.
MYM currently owns 75% (which goes up to 90% upon completion) of the Weedon, Quebec project, and together with the municipality have the shared goal of making Weedon the official cannabis capital of Canada.
The decision to center the company’s flagship operations in Quebec was very strategic—Nationally speaking, Quebec’s costs are quite reasonable.
The province’s labor costs are on average 34% less than in the US, and 16% less than in G7 countries. Power is 36% cheaper than in the US, and 49% lower, on average, than in the G7 countries.
And lastly, Quebec’s tax regime on investments are the lowest in Canada—More importantly they’re lower than the average of the US, G7 countries, and the OECD countries.
As a bonus, Quebec offers an investment tax credit, which covers up to 24% of the cost of newly purchased manufacturing and processing equipment, and reimburses sales tax on capital goods.
Ahead of the bulk of those investments, the company recently received a boost of confidence and cash from a recent $10,000,000 financing that will move the company closer to its goals in 2018.
The net proceeds are intended to be used towards general working capital and corporate purposes including the Weedon, and Laval, Quebec production projects, and its partnered 1.2 million square foot production facility in New South Wales, Australia.
Between Weedon and New South Wales, MYM is projected to have access to 2.7 million square feet of state-of-the-art growing space at its disposal.
Among the largest greenhouse operators, MYM Nutraceuticals has the highest amount of space left to grow on the market, as it is still valued at less than Cannabis Wheaton Income Corp. (TSX.V: CBW) (OTC: CBTWF), Canopy Growth Inc. (TSX: WEED) (OTC: TWMJF), Emerald Health Therapeutics, Inc. (TSX.V: EMH) (OTC: EMHTF), and MedReleaf Corp. (TSX: LEAF) (OTC: MEDFF). Whether the market picks up on this unrealized potential in 2018 is yet to be seen.
