YES!!!! I am definitely in for the duration. I have already suffered huge losses, and would not recoup them by selling at this point. From this extremely low price per share, I would only lose a little if we were wiped out. However, if somehow, this smoldering company turns into a phoenix rising from the ashes, I definitely want to be on board. I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I sold now.
Satellite. This 5000 share trading strategy is most interesting. It is clearly the same person and there is a strategy. At one point, they bought 5000 shares every second until they cleared out the sellers. Then later, they sold every second until the price dropped. Since they bought high and sold low, they lost money. It is clearly a computerized technique because people can't run their keyboard that quickly. It did alter share price.
WOW! Action around CPRKQ is really HOT! Sure glad I've got a front row seat. Win or lose, it's a hell of a ride!!
Yeah, check back. He posted a picture of them written on a legal pad. The most concise version. one picture contains more than 1000 words.
Great idea for the new T-shirts
"I Stirred the Soup"
on the front, and
"Just Show Up" on the back.
I'm going to make a mint selling T-shirts to all you guys!
Color -- Copper, of course.
Mostly extra large. They always sell out first.
What fun's a pot if it's not stirred. I concur. Even better, there are more than one pot to stir in this meal.
Cmon! You have a responsibility to sedate us desperate, bored armchair quarterbacks with juicy blow by blow.
We want it NOW!!!
Just cause you have a real job is no excuse!!!
You put stock rise a long ways off. The ability to make money is not determined by actually making money.
We have other huge hurdles which will probably decide the fate of CPRKQ. (In addition to yesterday's elimination of the insider group that wanted to wipe out shareholders, which I think, singlehandedly, may prove to be the turning point of the company)
Here are other important milestones:
Emergence from Chapter 11
Acquire financing.
The cash flow is a gradual gear-up thing, and we will have a great deal more confidence in future profits with the chapter 11 and financing issue behind us, even without producing revenue.
I think stock goes up when some persuasive writer or pump and dump expert decides to run up the price with a promotion campaign.
What is the share price waiting for? A negative poster seems to be able to drag share price down, but a huge court victory that eliminates the guys trying to wipe out the stock does nothing to raise share price. Not even a little spike.
We WON!? Just got a message from someone who said that Chuck said that we won!
"Just got a text message from Chuck...WE WON! 4:46 PM
Don't know who sent it to me.
6PM at the court house. What's gotten into that judge? He must be determined to finish this hearing today, but I guess JB and his attorneys just keep on talking, trying to confuse the issues.
It's OK. It's always an honor to be quoted. Even when my quotes are taken out of context. We're all edgy for news.
Hey, that was me!
This is bigger than the Super Bowl! And we can expect news within the hour, as soon as Chuck and RichWaters get a recess, or court is adjourned. They have already been at it for two hours, and the end of the day is probably within 1 hour.
Looking for a big win! Usually, when we get into one of these hearings, the goal is to avoid having shareholders taken out of the game. this time, yeah, if the old BOD wins, we might be taken out of the game, but that doesn't seem likely. Instead, it looks like we are likely to have a huge win, having the guys who have been attempting to take us out of the game taken out of the game permanently.
Admittedly, they have already been taken out of the game with the election, but this is our Bankruptcy court, the guy in charge, looking them in the eye and hopefully deciding with great finality, that they don't have the right to steal the company.
Sleep outa drugs. You gotta be kidding.
We need to wait until 2PM for the hearing!, so won't hear the news until 4 or 5PM. I don't think I can handle the suspense.
We haven't had a day like this since the Showdown at the OK Corral. Was that in Utah also?
Does seem like an absolutely huge event for us shareholders. If I start driving now, I can get there in time for the judge to rule. It's really tempting. If there were ever an opportunity to see JB with egg on his face in front of the judge, this is it.
I mean, what's he going to say? "It's in the best interest of all parties for me to stay in charge."? I want a recording or a transcript in case I don't make it in time to see the ruling in person.
THUNDERBELL. Now there's a name I have not heard for a very long time. You provided support when I needed it and I am grateful.
Colorado, What is the June 23 date based on? Might be important.
Uh.....Hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. You get a free t-shirt
I think I'll get a bunch of t-shirts printed up for the "JUST SHOW UP" event. I guess I should take pre-orders. Large or extra large is usually the most popular.
On the front they say "I Showed Up"
and on the back, they say "Chuck Rocks"
They'll be copper colored with silver printing.
Elephant in the Room: Bryan was quoted as saying, "Copper King has paid $15 million to its senior secured creditors."
It seems that some corporation or partnership created by Altius paid $15 million to buy the interests of the secured creditors. What does it mean that JB believes or claims that Copper King paid the $15 million?
Is it true? Does Copper King now own the secured debt?
Is JB so removed from what is really going on that he doesn't even know that Altius is different from Copper King?
Does JB now have some personal ownership in this secured debt?
WOW!!! Quite a day on the board!
I've got more pressing things to do, but this is so engaging!
I really like the way the softly delivered "news" of an election has solidified the stock. We didn't have a big spike. We have a slow rise with the price up maybe a point a day. This means those who are buying are investors and those who are selling are few and far between. Since new investors aren't paying so much, they can buy more shares.
The real time to buy is when the negative posters return to the board. They will be back, but because they weren't able to sell into a spike, they are not in a position to buy back, so it does not serve them to lower the share price with fear at this time.
No. The real time to buy is probably now, when the price is stable, low, and building, because, we might get some really good news by the time the negative posters return.
For instance, IF we win the Election and IF our story, a truly great story, is covered by national news, there may be lots of investors who have not yet bought all they can afford who get to know the company and want in big time. The reporter would interview the parties, particularly new officers and get their take on the opportunity and really make this into an incredible story of shareholders standing up against a stacked deck. "Here is the mill. Here is the power switch, ready to be switched "on", ready to gear up and start producing tons of copper silver and gold.... and here is the land, a huge porphery deposit with billions of dollars worth of valuable metals waiting to be delivered to a world of excalating metal prices that is thirsty for key industrial metals."
Then again, there may be no reporter and share price might just hold steady for another several months, waiting for "news".
Strange feeling I get after reading your post....
It's like "High noon at the OK corral" The streets are deserted and the tension is thick.
I am also in deep. I will be devastated if the bad guy shoots the sheriff.
Careful....If united, they will be a mighty force, probably more mighty than united shareholders. Might turn into an unruly demonstration of "intolerant spouses" or they would say "intelligent spouses". Or worse, they might go underground and form a guerilla network.
All vacuumed up? You've got to be kidding. Four million shares have already traded TODAY. If someone is buying a million shares a day, that's 20 million in a month. In a year, that's 5% of copper king.
People are buying four million shares a day.
I agree with you. He's not corporate CEO material... and I also note that the opportunity before us was created by his efforts, so a part of me respects someone who can follow his dream to the end, and possibly leave a very valuable legacy to those who supported him by buying in. Obviously I am a dreamer too, unable to let go of the idea that his dream will succeed.
I like MD. He pulled lots of things together, and almost made it work. One of his problems was some of the advertising and money people he dealt with. However, I think his biggest problem was the pink stocks. He had three problems there:
1. time. the value pf pink stocks is expected to go down with time.
2. Traders and Market Makers. It is profitable to short pink stocks. It is also profitable to bash pink stocks to lower their value to buy back shorts. Sell on the spikes and bash to buy back at a lower price. This is why I so frequently express my negative side related to this activity.
3. MD was selling gobs of stock to anyone with money at 70 to 75% of market value. This means that, if I have a billion shares of old stock that is off of restriction, I can sell that stock, which lowers the price, then I can turn around and buy 3 times as much stock from MD for the money I got from the sale. When the restriction on my new cert wears off, I can do it again.
If the value of shares had remained high, as the value of assets would clearly suggest, he could have funded the mill, and we would have 3 or 4 billion shares instead of the 6 billion shares we have today.
This is why he failed and why CPRKQ stock is so incredibly undervalued and is such a bargain.
Well, another reason for the bargain basement price is that current management has made it clear that their position is that CPRK stock is worthless, not worth enough to pay off the creditors. Nobody can have confidence in a company when it's management has taken positions that make the stock worthless.
Now, this is what I don't get. an election was just announced that purports to replace current management. What happens when and if new management announces its plans and is enthusiastic about the prospects of the company?
The big question: With the announcement of the election, why aren't investors vacuuming up millions of shares like water after a flood?
OF course, this is a pink sheet company in bankruptcy. Maybe that's it.
In my opinion, we are already that, in spades. With a bit of risk, of course.
Interesting. I was astounded at the lack of share-price response to the emergence of the election. To me, the fast that there is an election is the big news, and winning the election is sort of an expected result in most people's minds.
Do you really think that winning would be bigger news than having an election?
I suspect that a grand, colorful press release would get some action. It would really be big news, maybe national news, if the shareholders of a corporation in bankruptcy managed to get all the shareholders together to vote out old management. Maybe we need the big news stations there with cameras to capture the handing over of the keys to the mill.
TOMORROW IS A DAY FOR TRADERS, NOT INVESTORS.
Sticknflip what a great name!!! Tomorrow, very early morning may be a good time to buy into the stock. However, PROBABLY NOT! You will probably find that almost nobody is selling, which means that if you did something silly like put in a market buy order, you might just be buying at a dollar per share, given the way marketmakers work. If you buy millions of shares, you will almost certainly be partly responsible for creating a huge spike.
Tomorrow afternoon might be a great time to start selling into the spike, assuming there is a huge spike created by a whole bunch of emotional people who try to buy-in first thing tomorrow morning. Tuesday too. There will be a huge opportunity to sell to those people who are willing to pay anything to get a piece of Copper King given the "news" of an election.
Once we get past Tuesday or Wednesday, share price will probably start coming back down. How far down it comes will be determined by whether, once the novelty wears off, investors think having an election is a turning point for the company or not.
TOMORROW IS A DAY FOR TRADERS, NOT INVESTORS. Hopefully investors already have their cheap shares already in place. Traders will be selling tomorrow, Tuesday, and Wednesday, and buying back over the next several weeks or months to profit on the emotional buying from the news of an "election" and receiving ballots in the mail over the weekend or anticipating receiving ballots.
I expect 100 million shares to change hands tomorrow, shares going into the hands of new investors, and money going into the hands of traders who are selling. I suspect there will be a huge amount of short selling as well.
I strongly disagree! From JB's second filing, just after filing bankruptcy, he declared the company had 8 million dollars in scrap value!!! essentially claiming to the court that shareholders have no equity, and setting the stage for a quick Chapter 7 dissolution. It has been clear from the beginning (in my opinion) that he and those who put him in place are self serving snakes.
There was never any hope in my mind that he would "find LTF" or "find a buyer" in any way that would benefit shareholders.
ATTENTION if you have accounts with two or three brokers, you may receive two or three letters. Don’t assume you have already voted completely by returning just one Written Consent form. Vote and return every Written Consent form you receive because, if you receive more than one, each represents only part of your shares.
I am totally qualified to express my opinion. That's the rules of this board. "Any idiot can speak." And certainly, even EC members can be idiots. I just feel sorry for the people who buy in at the peak of the spike, and I suspect this proxy vote, since it is the biggest news that has come out for a while, will create a significant spike. Then share price will start coming down again.
The problem is this news came out on friday afternoon, and by Monday, there will be a bunch of people who want in big time. If people buy in at the first few minutes of trading on Monday, they might get in at the beginning of the spike. However, by the end of the day, they are probably going to be buying into the top of the spike, which seems to last a day or two.
I hate to see the traders selling to the investors during the day or two of the spike, then buying back their position over the next week or month at a huge profit. Look at the pattern of old spikes and you will see this pattern of spikes repeat over and over. I identify with investors, not traders.
I have said before that key objectives that I think will increase share price are emerging from bankruptcy, getting funding, and getting back into production. These are likely to take time.
I really like blowing hot air.
I got your message and responded to it. I guess that, because your post was banned, my response was banned.
I like your posts. You seem to know a lot about what is going on. and are familiar with the game.
It seems there might be a revolution in pink stocks with real assets with this proxy vote system.
Can't say, but can say we will need several thousand hotdogs if everyone shows up. Main problem will be hotel rooms. Limited supply in Milford and Cedar City. Maybe we can fill the tourist hotels in nearby Zion and Bryce National Parks. We probably can't fill the hotels in Las Vegas, 3 hours away. MMMM.. we will need a shoebox full of barbQ's, and an incredible amount of mustard!
This is not the last bend. Management wasn't doing much anyway, and until and unless we get out of bankruptcy, the new management won't be doing much either. There's a huge lot to be done after emerging from bankruptcy as well. This is really where new management will make a big difference.
Don't expect share price to be up there for at least 2 and probably 5 years.
Be patient. It appears that today was the first day the mailing has hit. It's first class so it should get to most everyone tomorrow, monday, and tuesday.
Remember, we only win if we return our ballots. This is a group effort involving all of us, so as soon as you get your ballot, vote and pop it back in the mail. It's really cool that it comes with a postage paid return envelope!!!
Let's not plan the party in Milford, in say late August, until we win this vote. We don't want to plan who's bringing the hotdogs and who's bringing the beer until we achieve the vote count.
Make it copper and I'm in!
