if the SEC didn't have a solid case they would not be committing so many resources
and assets ..
LOL.....this shows profound lack of understanding about corrupt government agencies if you think they work hard, and smart and spend lots of money to arrest their golfing buddies. LOL
hey mel! I would love to get on the list....how do I do that? TIA
recrem
thanks for that.....let me know if I can help in any way with where to go and what to see in NZ, I'm happy to help, and very happy to have found this board! look forward to lots of good advice!
it's nice to be here, thanks....need to rebuild my funds after falling into the S**G bath!
what a story.....congratulations to you, inspiring stuff. I'm new here, trying to rebuild my portfolio after riding through that whole S**G fiasco.....look forward to lots of good posts and advice from all the great posters here!
I'm new here....lurked for a few days thinking I had missed it but got in today realizing I would only miss more if I kept waiting! Thanks to all of the strong holders and posters here!
when the SEC issues a subpoena to get evidence and then follows that up with a Wells Notice accusing the company and its two primary officers with 14 different federal securities violations, anyone reasonable would call that a scam.
Is it your contention that no legitimate companies have ever been accused of securities violations??
Really?
sorry reg, I must have confused you....I asked you to show me where the SEC called SPNG a scam and you show me the wells notice?
Do you need some help understanding what the wells notice means?
It DOES NOT mean that the company served with the notice is a "scam".
it is the SEC that is calling SPNG a scam.
really? isn't a company with violations and a "scam" two different things?
would love to see your link where the SEC calls SPNG a "scam".
Family Dollar, Dollar General. 99 Cent Stores...all signs of a company in financial distress. Those places are used to close out slow selling merchandise and the prices for which they sell are deeply discounted.
come on man, duracell, tide, braun, mattel, kelloggs, dove, clorox, gillette....just to name a few, are all at family dollar...all these companies are in financial distress??? LOL
thanks very much, appreciate that....seems massively undervalued from the DD i've done so far!
just got on my radar this one.....can anybody give me a quick rundown on why the pps fell so hard and fast a while back? TIA...
looks good here people....like the possibilities, got in this morning!
Really? I've been in 3 stores in the past week looking for them to buy and not one of them, that used to have sponges, have them anymore.
care to tell us which stores?
whats the SPNG O/S?
722.9 million.
And SPNG can dance around Rosen, and get out cheaply. A deal will be cut, if it comes to that. And Rosen will take "the bird in hand". Remember, Rosen is going after M&M too.
A lot of good things could happen if the SEC "dropkicks" the M&M boys.
exactly....what's important to remember here is that there is too much skin in the game now....growing revenues, expanding placement. The truly, truly wealthy men in this country got rich from products and services...not scamming and running. This company will survive with or without M and M and shareholders will benefit.
The fact it's over 70 days since the verbal Wells, is a good sign for SPNG shareholders. Maybe not M&M. But then you have Rosen, so who knows for sure.
very true...
no my friend, YOU don't get it...
During the ongoing investigation of a securities fraud, the SEC finds enough evidence to conclude that there is a high probability that SPNG, Metter and Moskowitz commited the securities fraud
could you please, please show us where it says the above ANYWHWERE in the available SEC documents....have you even read the wells notice?? "questions have been raised" it says...questions, not answers, not conclusions, not "high probabilities"....please stop making stuff up, and spinning, you are desperately reaching by forging language and misinterpreting plain english...
Other bigger stocks had larger "short interests" but have a POSITIVE ROI!
Why is that SPNG has a significantly lower "short" interest, but a NEGATIVE ROI of 75%!!
oh man, what don't you get about this?????? penny stocks are much easier to manipulate with short attacks! they don't have huge distribution channels and marketing campaigns, they don't have a thick skin like big board companies do....you should know this!
recrem you do understand the difference between
1. An investigation being concluded
and
2. A conclusion being reached during the process of an investigation, don't you?
???? apparently english isn't your first language....there is NO difference between your above 1 and 2! LOL....and NOTHING has been concluded friend
con·clude (kn-kld)
v. con·clud·ed, con·clud·ing, con·cludes
v.tr.
1. To bring to an end; close: concluded the rally with the national anthem. See Synonyms at complete.
2. To bring about (a final agreement or settlement): conclude a peace treaty.
3. To reach a decision or form an opinion about. See Synonyms at decide.
4. To arrive at (a logical conclusion or end) by the process of reasoning; infer on the basis of convincing evidence
Not looking good for SPNG. Not at all!
lol, you keep saying this, but things are looking better and better!
drunk why don't you show us where I stated that the SEC investigation has been concluded.
didn't you just post this???? oh man.....!
...and the SEC, after full investigations of SPNG, has concluded that sales and revenues announced by SPNG are false and misleading
and this.....
SPNG is only a trade away from sub-penny when Pike exits.
....is ridiculous, just as ridiculous as the instant 5.00 dollars per share claims.....you just discredit yourself with that kind of thing....
That 18c trade is a good hint at what lies ahead when Pike stops buying and/or the remaining stuckholders bail.
so the pps will skyrocket when Pike stops buying? and also, aren't we all EITHER stuckholders, OR we can bail?
you're confusing.......
Will settle only after they pay the $400K owed them, and any other fees...
exactly, they will settle.....this kind of thing is extremely common in business, you should know this......happens all the time....it's no big deal. What's funny to me is that you, and some others are running around yelling about it being a big deal, it's extremely common....they had a disagreement, they settle it, everyone moves on.
Second, the MSG lawsuit is a fact!
stipulation entered, will settle, going away drew.....
CNBC short sale rule approved just minutes ago.
REVOCATION or TRADING SUSPENSION? Why is SPNG not trading today?
what in the name of patrick are you talking about now? Go on a trading site and notice that it is trading....higher everyday now in fact...
I wish .. my broker just won't let me short a penny stock like SPNG - too bad, I don't have a off shore account
so you would short this now if you could??!
(and, BTW when I said you're helping to hold up the price I meant that your unflagging dedication to this board keeps a lot of us thinking that something is worth sticking around for....but you knew that I think)
I believed Pike was averaging down when he bought just after the suspension ..
now with this round of buying??? and why would he buy all at one time increasing the PPS he bought into ?
there is really only one reason for this.....he believes that the stock is severely undervalued.
remember occam's razor??
hey you didn't answer my question....you talk about "averaging down" an awful lot....don't you only average down when you think it will go up again at some point? Or, at the very least, when you're pretty sure the company will at least stay in business?
hey puppy, you average down when you know it's going up, right?
oh my....movin up here....new channel?
40K I think, but it wont change the big picture and sure wont make those who bought at .06 - .28 happy.
it was 400,000 at.035 hash, not 40 k....
we are strapped for cash my friend. bouncing checks and lost ad deals.
you are a reasonable person, cyrx, I like your posts, but I've seen too many posts now saying this; that spng is strapped for cash....there is absolutely no evidence for this, some of the richest men and corporations in the world "bounce" checks, stop payment and discontinue advertising for a myriad of reasons....have you ever read "Rich dad, poor dad"? pay yourself first, he says, before you pay anyone else. There could be dozens of other explanations for these things other than "cash strapped", there's no good evidence IMO
stay tuned.
stay tuned for another amicable agreement between SPNG and another party? stay tuned for another case NOT going to court? stay tuned for what? more good news?
MSG suit over? stipulation entered?
The parties I was referring to was the lawyers needed to try to save M&M's sorry butts...
you misunderstood me....I'm referring to the lawyers as well.... my point is that, more often than not, it's not the crime committed that determines the punishment, it's the quality of your law team. I was simply agreeing with you that the lawyers they have retained have a great "rep" for that sort of thing. They have kept many "guilty" parties out of any real trouble.
sounds like the actions of someone who is guilty of something, and judging by the reps of the parties they are guilty of something huge.
Actually hash, judging by the reps of the parties it sounds like no one over there will suffer much.....everyone is guilty at some point, especially in that world.....and even "being guilty of something huge" as you say doesn't determine what amount of punishment you receive; maybe it should, but it doesn't........the only thing that can really make a difference is who you have on your side....remember O.J? The punishment should always fit the crime but rarely does in the white collar world......and the "reps of the parties" over there will smooth it out real nice like....just watch and see....
