GlobeTel Delivers First Order of HotZone Equipment to Extend Joint Venture No Mas Cables' Coverage in Mexico
FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla., May 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Fulfilling the first purchase order under its recently formed joint venture with VPN de Mexico , GlobeTel Communications Corp. (Pink Sheets: GTEM) (the 'Company') today announced that 83 HotZone 4010 devices and accompanying antennae were shipped to the Company's No Mas Cables de Mexico (NMC) joint venture. The equipment is being used to extend NMC's wireless broadband network, envisioned to cover communities located between the city of Pachuca, State of Hidalgo, Mexico and Mexico City , Mexico .
Between six and twelve HotZone 4010 devices are capable of covering one square kilometer of area, depending on conditions within the area including landscape, density, water content and existing noise within the usable spectrum. When installed in a contiguous pattern, the HotZone devices form a seamless wifi broadband 'cloud.'
'We've already begun to benefit from outsourcing our manufacturing to OEMs, who will help us ensure that the demand for HotZone equipment will be met quickly and accurately,' stated Peter Khoury , Chief Executive Officer of GlobeTel. 'In addition to the benefit of supply fulfillment at a fixed cost, OEM relationships are expected to save the company nearly 50% of the costs associated with our wireless activities, and free up our staff to pursue additional markets and opportunities.'
Given the surgical way the HotZone technology can be installed, the plan includes covering areas within the heavily populated Mexico City . Pachuca corridor that are commercially viable, including the two middle-class communities (an aggregate 14,000 households) with very poor Internet penetration for which this lot of HotZone equipment was shipped. NMC was formed by GlobeTel and VPN de Mexico in April 2007 to build wireless broadband networks within Mexico . NMC expects to serve approximately 250,000 wireless broadband customers by the end of its third year of operation.

anyone have a clue how long it takes for a comapany to get back on the pinks after being suspended by the SEC?
not over .001 until it gets off the gray market. Once it gets back on the pink sheets (and it will), it will rock, but who knows how much longer it will be till we can get pink sheet status again. I'm thinking another month or two.
How high u think it will run?
yeah, like a yoyo
Your stock bounces a lot I see.
Sanswire Floats 2A Technology Demonstrator, Hosts Presentation Covering Mid to Low Altitude Airship and Payload Capabilities
PALMDALE, Calif., March 14, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Sanswire Networks LLC, subsidiary of GlobeTel Communications Corp. (Pink Sheets:GTEM), previously announced the successful completion of the float test of the Sanswire 2A Technology Demonstrator Stratellite(tm) on March 4. In conjunction with this test, representatives of Raytheon Company presented a range of additional security solutions involving synthetic aperture radars (SAR), infrared (IR) cameras, and secure communications.
Peter Khoury, Chief Executive Officer of GlobeTel Communications, stated, "The versatility and functionality of the Stratellite(tm) enables a wide range of communications and surveillance solutions that can be applied to a multitude of scenarios. Additionally, we are becoming more involved in the development of airships that would fly at lower altitudes but exhibit similar functional versatility."
About The Stratellite(tm)
A Stratellite(tm) stationed in the stratosphere, at 65,000 feet, will be able to provide state-of-the-art communications to areas that either do not currently have the infrastructure to support such services, or are unable to support a terrestrial-based infrastructure due to topography. Additionally, a Stratellite(tm) can be used to supplement communications services in areas where infrastructure has been damaged by natural or man-made disasters. Lower altitude, shorter duration airships more closely resembling the Sanswire 2A are envisioned to be able to provide communications in times of emergency or could be used for border patrol, surveillance, and as a communications bridge to naval battle groups or between ground troops.
About Sanswire Networks LLC
Sanswire Networks is focused on the construction of the Stratellite(tm), a specialized airship capable of carrying payloads that transmit various types of wireless communications. Placing a communications platform into the stratosphere is an idea that can fundamentally change how the world delivers wireless telecommunications, and the way we communicate. GlobeTel Communications Corp. and VPN de Mexico Establish No Mas Cables de Mexico
Joint Venture Will Build Wireless Broadband Networks in Mexico Based On GlobeTel's HotZone Technology
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. and MEXICO CITY, April 3, 2007 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- GlobeTel Communications Corp. (Pink Sheets:GTEM) and VPN de Mexico S.A. de C.V. (VPN) today announced that they have consummated an agreement to establish a joint venture, 51% owned by VPN and 49% owned by GlobeTel, to build and operate wireless broadband networks in Mexico based on GlobeTel's proprietary HotZone(tm) technology. Despite having the highest percentage of personal computer penetration in Latin America, Mexico has one of the lowest rates of penetration for high speed Internet access. The joint venture, No Mas Cables de Mexico, S.A. de C.V., will help fulfill a critical need within Mexico for more widespread broadband and telephony availability.
No Mas Cables de Mexico expects to build networks that will serve urban areas with a target customer goal of 250,000 customers within the first three years of operation. VPN and GlobeTel anticipate No Mas Cables de Mexico will start producing net income during its sixth month and would become cash flow positive by the end of the first 12 months.
Under terms of the agreement, initial working capital has been infused into No Mas Cables de Mexico, with each partner's contribution proportional to their ownership stake in the joint venture. The initial working capital will be used to continue construction of wireless networks using GlobeTel's products and intellectual property. This amount is consistent with the preliminary business plan and financial model structured and agreed upon by both partners.
Networks built by No Mas Cables de Mexico will be based on the Company's proprietary HotZone 4010 WiFi technology.
This agreement was pursuant to the successful testing and startup of operations of an initial broadband wireless network in Pachuca, State of Hidalgo, Mexico. Construction of the Pachuca network commenced in mid-September 2006 and began serving wireless broadband customers in October.
"VPN is thoroughly committed to providing all necessary resources for No Mas Cables' growth and market penetration, and we look forward to bringing this exciting service to Mexico," stated Pablo Peralta, Chief Executive Officer of VPN de Mexico. "The backbone of our networks, the HotZone technology, has demonstrated cost-efficiency and high scalability, enabling us to penetrate these markets quickly and with less intrusion into the communities than other technologies."
Peter Khoury, Chief Executive Officer of GlobeTel Communications, stated "The Peralta family's innovation within the Mexican telecommunications market is characterized by a number of 'firsts' with respect to the cellular and VoIP markets. Working with the accomplished Peralta family and their telecom subsidiary VPN, we are actualizing our mission of bringing accessible, inexpensive communications resources to Mexico."

GTEM is a stock that ive been invested in and I feel the sec is getting ready to set them free. Ill share some recent press releases.
IPKL just came off SEC suspension, trading real light, but the suspension was bogus IMO. Company has a good solid future it appears, even tho it now trades on the gray market until a new MM can be setup. Worth a look into, and pretty cheap right now. trading between .0004 to .001, but not easy to flip as volume is real light. It was trading on the pinks at .0005 before SEC suspension.
WELCOME,
I would like to let all who come to discuss sec investigated stocks will not have to deal with negative bashing or name calling to serious investors. Let the bashers play some where else. I am a delete banning trigger happy moderator. Keep it clean and we won't have any problems.
