Fani Willis scandal explodes after witness suddenly vanishes
Former Fulton County special prosecutor Nathan Wade, the former lover of Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis and a key figure in the prosecutions efforts against former President Donald Trump, is reportedly missing.
The House Judiciary Committee, led by Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH), has been seeking Wade to gain his testimony as part of their investigation into Willis’ legal case against Trump.

$4.1 TRILLION Tax Plan" - Kamala's Tax Plan EXPOSED: Globalist Agenda Will BANKRUPT America!
With an election looming, the U.S. is approving citizenship applications at the fastest speed in years
https://www.yahoo.com/news/election-looming-u-approving-citizenship-100015682.html
Hundreds of people from 63 countries packed into a Riverside theater last week to take the oath of citizenship. American flags lined the stage as messages conveying the immigrants' new power played on a large screen:
“Today, I am an American. Today, I am a citizen of the country I serve. Today, I can register to vote.”
The 775 people who participated in the naturalization ceremony Sept. 19 are part of a wave of new U.S. citizens being sworn in across the country, as immigration authorities approve citizenship applications at the fastest speed in a decade.
The Biden administration says the uptick in new citizens is due to efforts to reduce a backlog of applications that began during the Trump administration and exploded amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Immigration officials said the timing is not driven by the election or any political agenda.
Zelensky Interferes in an American Election
Team Biden-Harris used American military assets to fly the Ukrainian president into a critical swing state for political purposes.
https://patriotpost.us/articles/110511?mailing_id=8673&subscription_uuid=8ddbf5c7-2ab3-4861-8046-77907f74a75b&utm_medium=email&utm_source=pp.email.8673&utm_campaign=snapshot&utm_content=body
Vladimir Putin and Volodymyr Zelensky are mortal enemies, but they do have at least one thing in common: They both want Kamala Harris to be the next American president.
Putin, of course, knows that he’ll have a far easier time rebuilding the Soviet empire under a weak and feckless American president like Harris than a strong and resolute one like Donald Trump. True, Putin’s foreign minister, Sergei Lavrov, has since tried to walk back his boss’s endorsement of Harris, but we know the truth: He took back Soviet land under George W. Bush, he took back Soviet land under Barack Obama, and he took back Soviet land under provocative Joe Biden. But he’d never have dared to invade Ukraine or any other former Soviet satellite on Trump’s watch.
Indeed, Putin’s refusal to test Trump was the ultimate compliment that can be paid by a bully. Maybe it was that alpha handshake Trump put on him at the G20 summit. Or maybe that time Trump quietly greased all those Russian mercs in Syria.
Zelensky, meanwhile, knows that Harris will keep the spigot open, continuing to send hundreds of billions of American dollars to fund the Biden-Harris administration’s ongoing proxy war with Russia.
Did you know, for example, that your taxpayer dollars are hard at work in Ukraine, paying not just for bullets, beans, and Band-Aids but also the salaries of 150,000 Ukrainian civil servants and more than half a million teachers, professors, and school workers, not to mention government expenses ranging from healthcare to housing subsidies? Now you do. And where do you think the Ukrainians are going to get the money to rebuild that utterly wrecked country of theirs — by selling football squares and holding bake sales?
All this brings us back to Zelensky, who, under the tightest security and after having been flown in on a taxpayer-funded U.S. Air Force C-17, was in the crucial swing state of Pennsylvania on Sunday, ostensibly to thank American workers for producing 155 mm artillery shells, more than three million of which have already been sent from the U.S. to Ukraine.
But this wasn’t just a simple “thank you” from Zelensky. No, this foreign leader was also here on a mission: to weigh in on the upcoming American election, and to do so on behalf of his benefactors in the Biden-Harris administration. He thus trashed Republican vice presidential nominee JD Vance as “too radical,” no doubt referring to Vance’s recent outline of a plan to end the bloody and ruinous border war between Ukraine and Russia. As the New York Post reports, “Earlier this month, Vance outlined a blueprint to end the war during a radio interview — a plan that entailed the establishment of a special demilitarized zone between the two warring nations.”
But Zelensky saved his most damning criticism for the Republican presidential candidate, of whom he said:
Trump makes political statements in his election campaign. He says he wants the war to stop. Well, we do, too. … My feeling is that Trump doesn’t really know how to stop the war, even if he might think he knows how. With this war, oftentimes, the deeper you look at it, the less you understand. I’ve seen many leaders who were convinced they knew how to end it tomorrow, and as they waded deeper into it, they realized it’s not that simple.
The unspoken message from Zelensky, then, is this: Vote for Kamala Harris.
And from the Lack of Self-Awareness Files, Zelensky also said this: “I think Ukraine has demonstrated the wisdom of not becoming captured by American domestic politics. We have always tried to avoid influencing the choices of the American people — that would simply be wrong.”
Wrong is right. From a purely political perspective, Zelensky’s naked electioneering is understandable. After all, the Biden-Harris administration has given his country more than $175 billion in American taxpayer dollars. In exchange for all that money, of course his sugar daddies would want a political endorsement.
Such an arrangement is what Democrats used to call a quid pro quo. But that was back in the day when they were impeaching Donald Trump for making that “perfect phone call” to Zelensky and asking him to look into Hunter Biden’s now thoroughly documented influence peddling in Ukraine. You know, back before those same Democrats were reminded of Joe Biden’s own “perfect phone call” with Ukraine — the one he bragged about right there on video at a Council on Foreign Relations event in 2018; the one in which he threatened to withhold $1 billion in U.S. funds from Ukraine unless officials fired Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin, who’d been looking into Hunter’s money-for-nothing gig with notoriously corrupt Ukrainian energy firm Burisma.
National Review’s Dan McLaughlin is no fan of Donald Trump, but he knows a double standard when he sees one. Speaking about the Biden-Harris cabal’s use of American military assets to solicit the pseudo-endorsement of a foreign leader, McLaughlin quipped, “I am old enough to remember when using taxpayer resources to obtain purely partisan domestic political benefits from Zelenskyy was considered an impeachable offense.”
I couldn’t agree more. At the very least, it’s election interference. Where’s Attorney General Merrick Garland? And where’s the FBI with its repeated warnings about Russia, Russia, Russia?

Joe Biden Says He Delegated ‘Everything’ to Kamala Harris: ‘Foreign Policy to Domestic Policy’
WENDELL HUSEBØ 25 Sep 2024 2:34
President Joe Biden said Wednesday that he delegated “everything” as commander-in-chief to Vice President Kamala Harris, including foreign policy and domestic policy.
The acknowledgment is significant because it contradicts Harris’s talking points. Harris has tried multiple times to distance herself from the Biden-Harris record.
“My approach is about new ideas, new policies that are directed at the current moment. And also, to be very honest with you, my focus is very much in what we need to do over the next ten, twenty years to catch up to the twenty first century,” Harris told Brian Taff of Philadelphia’s Action News 6 ABC on September 13.
“I’m obviously not Joe Biden, and you know, I offer a new generation of leadership,” she said, providing examples of what the Biden-Harris administration failed to achieve.
Fifty-seven percent of registered voters believe they are not better off under the Biden-Harris administration as they were four years ago under former President Donald Trump, RMG Research polling found in September. Only 25 percent of Americans rate the economic conditions under the Biden-Harris administration as “excellent or good,” a Pew Research survey showed.
While campaigning for Harris on The View on Wednesday, Biden appeared to blame Harris for the administration’s failure to reduce inflation, secure the southern border, and responsibly withdraw from Afghanistan.
“As Vice President, there wasn’t a single thing that I did that she couldn’t do and so I was able to delegate her responsibility on everything from foreign policy to domestic policy,” he said.
Biden’s statement exacerbated Harris’s conundrum: She cannot campaign on policies to fix crime, inflation, and border security without undermining the Biden-Harris administration’s policies, but she must tout the administration’s policies to validate her record and candidacy.

Exclusive — Pre-Veep Debate Polling Data Shows JD Vance More Trusted than Tim Walz on Major Issues
MATTHEW BOYLE 26 Sep 2024 Washington, DC 3:40
(If the moderators let Walz slide, Vance should call him on his record and bull feces. Good luck JD.)
Sen. JD Vance (R-OH) is more trusted than Minnesota Democrat Gov. Tim Walz on major issues, new polling data provided exclusively to Breitbart News ahead of its public release shows.
Vance, former President Donald Trump’s running mate, will face off against Vice President Kamala Harris’s running mate, Walz, in the vice presidential debate next week on Tuesday evening in New York. CBS News anchor Norah O’Donnell and foreign affairs correspondent Margaret Brennan will moderate the debate.
This poll, conducted for Senate Opportunity Fund and obtained by Breitbart News exclusively, found that likely voters nationwide trust Vance more than Walz on each of the major issues facing the nation: immigration, national security, the economy and inflation, and crime. Vance’s advantage over Walz is highest—six percent—on both immigration and national security.
On national security, 45 percent said they trust Vance more, while just 39 percent said they trust Walz more, and 16 percent said they did not know or had no opinion. The numbers were identical on immigration.
Vance’s advantage is second highest at five percent on the economy and inflation. On these issues, Vance is at 45 percent again and Walz is at 40 percent, while 15 percent did not know or had no opinion.
Vance’s advantage is third highest on crime at three percent. On crime, 43 percent said they trust Vance more than Walz, whereas just 40 percent said they trust Walz more, and 16 percent said they did not know or had no opinion.
Interestingly, too, the survey found that Americans were far less likely to trust Walz after learning about his close relationship with the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Walz, as has been reported, took dozens of trips to China, including some sponsored directly by the CCP. He is currently under investigation for this from a number of congressional inquisitors.
A solid majority—54 percent—said they were either much less likely or somewhat less likely to trust Walz on issues that matter to them when informed about the congressional investigation into his ties to China. Thirty-nine percent of the respondents said they were much less likely to trust him. Only 15 percent said that revelation made them more likely to trust him, and just 31 percent said it made no difference.
What’s more, the survey found that more voters oppose Harris than support her with 49 percent saying they oppose her and just 45 percent saying they support her. Republicans also, like in the recent Gallup survey, lead the generic ballot 46 percent to 41 percent for Democrats. Also, a strong majority of 67 percent of respondents say the country is on the wrong track, while just 26 percent say the Harris and Joe Biden administration is moving America in the right direction.
The Senate Opportunity Fund poll was conducted from Sept. 17 to Sept. 19 and surveyed 800 likely voters nationally, with what the polling memo says is an oversample of 537 likely voters from battleground Senate race states. The poll has a margin of error of 3.5 percent.

Rep. Tom Tiffany Reveals Duplicate Absentee Ballots Have ‘No Barcode’
ELIZABETH WEIBEL 25 Sep 2024 1:59
Rep. Tom Tiffany (R-WI) revealed that thousands of duplicate absentee ballots contained “no barcode” on them after officials in Madison City said the duplicate ballots had the barcode.
In a post on X, Tiffany wrote that officials in the Madison Clerk’s Office had stated that because the duplicate ballots had identical barcodes, they would not be allowed to be submitted. Tiffany’s post came a day after he called for an “investigation” after Madison officials revealed that 2,215 duplicate ballots had been sent out to roughly 10 wards.
“DEVELOPING,” Tiffany wrote. “Although the Madison Clerk’s Office claims, ‘The voting system does not allow a ballot with the same barcode to be submitted,’ my office has proof that there is no barcode on the actual ballots.”
Tiffany included a photo in his post that showed a ballot without a barcode.
In response to the news that more than 2,000 duplicate ballots had been sent out to several wards, Tiffany wrote a letter addressed to Maribeth Witzel-Behl, the clerk of Madison, stating that he was “alarmed” at the news.
“Like many Wisconsinites, I was alarmed by recent reports that ‘around 2,000’ duplicate ballots have been sent out by your office,” Tiffany wrote. “The Clerk’s Office has since issued a six-sentence statement claiming, without providing any significant details, that this ‘error’ affected ‘an isolated number of voters’ in a single ward and ‘was quickly caught and corrected.'”
Tiffany continued on to question how the “error” had been “discovered,” what the “exact number of duplicate ballots” sent out had been, and whether the Clerk’s Office had reached out to law enforcement officials “to investigate whether this ‘error’ was the result of simple incompetence or a deliberate nefarious act.”
“This can’t just be swept under the rug,” Tiffany told Fox News in a statement. “The people responsible for this need to be held accountable.”

Javier Milei’s Argentine success is paving the way for freedom and prosperity across Latin America
By Axel Kaiser Published Feb. 14, 2024, 7:56 p.m. ET
BUENOS AIRES — I had the chance to speak for nearly an hour with Argentine President Javier Milei Dec. 9, one day before he was sworn into office.
During our conversation we discussed the future of the libertarian revolution that is taking place in Argentina and his absolute determination to see it crystallized in concrete reforms that would restore freedom and progress to his country.
Nearly two months into his presidency, there is no doubt that while much remains to be done, Milei is already off to a great start.
I’m writing this column from the iconic Palacio Duhau in Recoleta, Buenos Aires, where I have met several well-informed friends.
They all concur that, so far, Milei is well on the way to achieving the unthinkable: putting an end to a century of collectivist decline.
The lion of the Andes, as Milei is sometimes called, has not wasted time.
Shortly after coming to power, Milei dramatically narrowed the gap between the official and the market exchange rates by devaluing the peso 54%.
He went on to shut down ministries and public offices and lay off swarms of useless bureaucrats. He also passed an emergency decree with 300 measures to deregulate the economy.
Among them are the privatization of all public companies, the elimination of rent controls, an open-sky policy, cutting subsidies to different sectors of the economy, ending import restrictions, deregulating satellite services and many others.
In addition, the reduction of fiscal deficit is moving forward.
During the first month of Milei’s administration, public spending decreased by 30% in real terms compared with the previous year and the previous month.
In other words, the government is already spending almost a third less than in the same period last year when adjusted for inflation.
Needless to say, this is only the beginning of the 6.1 points of gross domestic product worth of deficit spending Milei has to adjust to restore a balanced budget.
Most of this adjustment (3.2% of GDP) will affect the public sector by cutting spending, while a temporary taxation increase (2.9% of GDP) will do the rest.
Despite the harsh measures adopted so far and the challenges some of them face in the courts and congress, Milei’s popularity has stayed at around 60%.
Public support and the strong hand of Security Minister Patricia Bullrich explain why the demonstrations the infamous Argentinian unions orchestrated have not been able to harm the government.
If anything, they have contributed to increased public support for Milei’s efforts to fight what he calls the “caste” of “parasites” that have exploited Argentinians for so long.
If he is successful in getting rid of the “caste” so he can turn Argentina around, the ideological and political impact throughout the region will be enormous — even more so because he and other free-market advocates have already achieved a lasting change in the mentality and values of millions of young people by replacing collectivist and statist ideas with notions of individual responsibility and freedom.
Indeed, the good news is this is already happening all over Latin America, not just in Argentina.
After my December visit to Buenos Aires, for instance, I went to Bolivia to give a series of lectures on freedom and the power of the spontaneous order of the market.
More than 500 students attended my first lecture even though, as I found out later, they had to pay for it.
Other events organized by young local freedom advocates, such as Rodrigo Mundaka, had more than 1,000 participants, including businesspeople and executives.
This came as no surprise to me.
Followers of freedom are to be found in the millions among the youth of Chile, Brazil, Colombia, Venezuela and Peru and increasing their numbers every day.
At the same time, socialist leaders are facing increasing resistance.
Chilean President Gabriel Boric, for example, has run the country into the ground with his statist ideology and anti-police stance.
Now the Andean nation faces a dire economic situation and the worst security crisis in its history.
As a result, 70% of Chileans reject his socialist administration, according to a recent poll.
In Peru, communist President Pedro Castillo was put in prison after an attempted coup.
His successor, socialist Dina Boluarte, has been forced to shift to more pro-market policies.
In Colombia, Gustavo Petro faces a disapproval rating of 66% in recent polls as a result of his failed policies to tackle unemployment and willingness to collaborate with terrorist groups.
Even Brazil’s President Luix Inácio Lula da Silva is struggling with maintaining his popularity, which is running below 40%.
The collapsing public support of left-wing leaders in the region presents an excellent opportunity for political alternatives with a more pro-freedom stance.
To some extent, a shift to market-oriented policies will be inevitable given the growing number of young people who are becoming libertarians as well as the Milei effect.
But it’s not only youth playing a decisive role in the region’s future.
Businesspeople in different parts of Latin America are more willing than ever to support libertarian and anti-socialist think tanks and organizations.
The most notable cases are Mexico’s Ricardo Salinas; Chile’s Nicolás Ibáñez, Lucy Avilés Walton and Dag von Appen; Salim Mattar in Brazil; and Peru’s Erasmo Wong.
All have made crucial contributions to spreading the ideas of freedom, fighting against collectivism in their countries and beyond.
In addition, there are hundreds of free-market think tanks and libertarian groups throughout the region, with a considerable combined impact.
Part of it is due to their active social-media use, which has proven critical in spreading libertarian ideas all over Latin America.
It is easy to find YouTube videos of Milei, Agustín Laje, Juan Ramón Rallo and other like-minded Spanish-speaking public intellectuals with several million views, and it is no exaggeration to argue they have more influence on public opinion than most — if not all — traditional television media.
At the same time, demand for Spanish-speaking libertarian public intellectuals is exploding while more people are speaking up against socialism, government intervention and left-wing politicians in general.
Despite these unprecedented and promising developments, it is too soon to celebrate.
Freedom can never be taken for granted anywhere, even less so in a region where collectivism still often seems ingrained in its cultural DNA.
But one thing is certain: At long last, the region is starting to experience an intellectual revolution that is elevating liberty to the place it deserves.
And although this phenomenon still has a long way to go, it might change the course of history.
For there is one revolution with the potential to end all Latin American socialist failures: a freedom-oriented revolution capable of delivering lasting individual liberty, economic progress and dignity for hundreds of millions of people.

Take that Price Control Kamaltoe...
Javier Milei Got Rid of Rent Control in Argentina. Housing Supply Skyrocketed
Story by Jesus Mesa • 1mo
Argentina's recent repeal of rent control by libertarian President Javier Milei has led to a surge in housing supply, with the freedom to negotiate contracts, previously restricted, directly causing a drop in rental prices.
Milei, a self-described "anarcho-capitalist" known for his free-market approach, repealed the 2020 Rental Law, enacted by former leftist President Alberto Fernández, which had imposed restrictions on landlords and led to a significant decline in rental availability.
With Argentina's inflation reaching 211.4%—the highest in 32 years—rent prices were adjusted every 12 months, and leases had to last at least three years. The law, introduced in 2020, ended up distorting the real estate market and hurting both landlords and tenants.
The law aimed to provide tenants with more financial security, but by the end of last year, an estimated one in seven homes in Buenos Aires was sitting empty as landlords chose not to rent them out in Argentine pesos. Deposits were capped, and it was nearly impossible to end tenancies early.
For many locals, finding a new apartment had become "mission impossible." But after the repeal, Buenos Aires saw a doubling of available rental units, and rental prices have stabilized. Under the new rules, landlords and tenants have more freedom to agree on lease terms. If the duration isn't specified, it defaults to two years.
"We've seen a significant increase in rental apartments, and in some cases, we had to lower prices in pesos because of fewer viewings," Soledad Balayan, head of the real-estate agency Maure Inmobiliaria, told Argentine newspaper La Nación.
Since Millei's repeal of rent control laws took effect on December 29, the supply of rental housing in Buenos Aires has jumped by 195.23%, according to the Statistical Observatory of the Real Estate Market of the Real Estate College (CI).
Not everyone in Argentina supports Milei's measure. Critics argue that the repeal disproportionately benefits landlords at the expense of tenants, many of whom are already struggling with the country's economic crisis. Some worry that the increased housing supply could be temporary, leading to a surge in prices once the market stabilizes.
Lessons for US' housing crisis
The debate over rent control is not specific to Argentina. In the U.S., where housing affordability is a major issue, the Argentine example is drawing attention. The libertarian Cato Institute in Washington D.C. pointed out that Argentina's experience shows the inherent problem of price controls, which in the case of housing can both limit supply and worsen affordability problems more broadly.
"Milei cut rent control and other tenancy regulations. The result confirmed economic theory: the supply of rental accommodation is surging, and rents have fallen," said Ryan Bourne, chair for the public understanding of economics at Cato.
President Joe Biden has proposed federal rent control measures, saying they're needed to protect tenants from corporate landlords. He proposed limiting rent hikes to 5% a year for the next two years for landlords with more than 50 units.
Vice President Kamala Harris has also recently indicated support for rent controls, saying at her first major rally since becoming the nominee that she wanted to "take on corporate landlords and cap unfair rent increases." In 2019, after Oregon passed a statewide rent control measure, she praised the bill on Twitter.
Biden's plan was meant to last two years, which the White House argues is enough time to build more housing that would relieve some of the affordability issues, particularly in cities. However, critics argue that even with exemptions for new construction, rent caps discourage building more homes.
"Evidence shows that rent caps may push landlords to convert rental units into condos, cut back on maintenance, and become more selective about tenants," read a Cato Institute analysis of Biden's proposal.
Housing costs have emerged as a key concern for Americans as the real estate market contends with the double-whammy of high mortgage rates and a dearth of supply, pushing the cost of owning a 26% higher than it was in 2020, according to a recent Redfin analysis. With many would-be buyers on the sidelines, the effect has been a red-hot, competitive rental market that has further pushed up prices.

Eric Adams becomes first sitting NYC mayor indicted in historic federal probe — claims feds persecuting him over migrant crisis
By Craig McCarthy, Joe Marino, Ben Kochman and Matt Troutman Published Sep. 25, 2024, 9:10 p.m. ET
Do not dare to speak the truth...
Adams has been a vocal critic on the Biden administration’s soft immigration policies as the Big Apple was flooded with more than 250,000 migrants since 2022, accusing the federal government of leaving New York to fend for itself.
“The national government has turned its back on New York City,” he said early 2023.
He also said the White House needs to appoint a person who would dedicated to a “decompression strategy” at the border.
Mayor Eric Adams has been indicted by a grand jury on charges connected to a federal probe, sources told The Post — as the defiant mayor claimed he was being persecuted by the federal government for speaking about the city’s migrant crisis.
The historic indictment — the first for a sitting New York City mayor — is expected to be unsealed Thursday by US Attorney Damian Williams, according to the sources. The news was first reported by The New York Times.
Adams will surrender to authorities early next week, sources said.
Details about the exact accusations remained unclear, but are believed to be connected to allegations of the Turkish government illegally funneling money into his mayoral campaign in exchange for approval of the Turkish consulate in Manhattan, according to sources.
Sources told The City that the mayor is facing a charge of acting as an unregistered foreign agent after accepting donations from foreign entities.
“I always knew that if I stood my ground for New Yorkers that I would be a target — and a target I became,” Adams said in a statement to The Post.
“If I am charged, I am innocent, and I will fight this with every ounce of my strength and spirit.”
In a video statement released later, Adams said he wouldn’t step down and pledged to “fight these injustices with every ounce of my strength and spirit.”
“I will request an immediate trial so that New Yorkers can hear the truth. New Yorkers know my story. They know where I come from. I have been fighting injustice my entire life,” he continued.
“That fight has continued as your mayor. Despite our pleas, when the federal government did nothing as its broken immigration policies overloaded our shelter system with no relief, I put the people of New York before party and politics.”
A rep for the US Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York, which is prosecuting the case, declined to comment.
Sources told The Post that two others — Adams top campaign fundraiser Brianna Suggs and his Director of Asian Affairs Winnie Greco — are expected to be named in the indictment.
At least three others are also expected to be charged, however, The Post could not immediately confirm their identities.
Following news of the indictment, cops set up barriers outside Gracie Mansion, the mayor’s home, and forced reporters back from the house.
At about 11:50 p.m., Adams’ ex-chief of staff Frank Carone emerged from the property. When asked by reporters if Adams was distracted by the legal trouble, Carone replied “not at all.”
Then about a half hour later, three black SUVs were seen leaving the mansion with their emergency lights flashing.
Eric Adams indicted: Live updates after NYC mayor hit with indictment
It’s uncertain how the indictment is related to a sweeping set of Sept. 4 raids that targeted several high-profile Adams administration officials, which sent City Hall into a weeks-long tailspin as news reports emerged of investigations focused on alleged corruption by the mayor’s inner circle.
By Wednesday morning, word had spread that a “senior” City Hall official soon would be indicted, sending staff into a panic throughout the day, insiders said.
The indictment’s unveiling will come after federal prosecutors recently demanded City Hall cough up all communications between the Adams administration, Turkey and five other foreign countries amid the long-running probe.
Adams’ 2021 campaign had previously been served with subpoenas for information on its campaign donations — specifically those that had ties to Turkey, sources told The Post.
Sprawling record requests then came in a July batch of subpoenas seeking details on all interactions between admin officials and Israel, China, Qatar, South Korea and Uzbekistan, the sources added.
Adams, City Hall and his election committee were also hit with grand jury subpoenas that same month — with the feds obtaining text messages, documents and other communications and materials.
The migrant crisis is expected to cost the city upwards of $12 billion by 2026 and Adams has repeatedly pleaded for Washington to provide more funds to Gotham.
“I am lost. I am confused on this topic on why we still, almost 20 months later, we’re still talking about this issue and it has inundated the city,” Adams told Fox 5 in December 2023.
The US Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York had remained tight-lipped about the probe ever since it burst into view last November with a dramatic raid on top Adams fundraiser Brianna Suggs’ Brooklyn home.
The raid — which sought evidence of straw donor kickbacks by the Turkish government and the Williamsburg-based construction company KSK Construction Group into Adams’ mayoral campaign — prompted Hizzoner to scurry back from a much-publicized White House meeting on the migrant crisis.
The feds subsequently raided the homes of City Hall staffer Rana Abbasova and Cenk Ocal, a former Turkish Airlines executive who worked on Adams’ transition team.
A week later, Adams had his own phones and iPad seized by FBI agents on the streets of Manhattan.
Meanwhile, another aide, Winnie Greco, had her Bronx home raided by FBI agents in February, though it wasn’t clear at the time whether it was tied to the Turkey probe.
Hizzoner has long denied any wrongdoing.
“It takes a great deal of discipline to not say something when you know you’ve done nothing wrong,” Adams said in August when asked about the mayoral campaign investigation.
The indictment marks the first time a New York City mayor has faced charges in 170 years, according to historical research done by THE CITY.
All recent mayors from David Dinkins to Bill de Blasio have faced some type of corruption investigation, but all those probes ended with, at worst, lower-level aides being slapped with charges.
Former Mayor Jimmy Walker famously resigned in 1932 while under investigation, but he was never charged.
The bombshell indictment will come amid a spate of other federal investigations targeting City Hall and Big Apple officials that came to light in a stunning series of raids on Hizzoner’s top lieutenants, closest political allies and most trusted aides of late.
Federal prosecutors in Manhattan are behind many of the probes but — like the mayoral campaign investigation — have remained tight-lipped about the aims, potential charges and how the probes might entwine with each other.
No one, to date, has been charged or accused of any wrongdoing in the other investigations.

Outrage as US DOJ defends UN staffers who collaborated in Hamas’ terror
By Mark Goldfeder and Eugene Kontorovich Published Sep. 25, 2024, 6:28 p.m. ET
(Please Lord, keep Trump safe. Help him win in November.)
“No one is above the law,” Kamala Harris says when speaking of her rival, former President Donald Trump.
But the Harris-Biden administration is arguing in federal court that lots of people are above the law — in particular, the many UN employees who helped Hamas build its terror facilities and launch its genocidal pogrom on Oct. 7.
In June, some victims of the Oct. 7 massacre filed suit in New York, where the United Nations is based, against the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees, alleging that UNRWA and its officials have aided and abetted Hamas.
Evidence of UNRWA’s wholesale collaboration with the designated terror group is abundant, and goes back years.
“Oh, I am sure that there are Hamas members on the UNRWA payroll, and I don’t see that as a crime,” then-UNRWA Commissioner-General Peter Hansen stated in 2004.
Twenty years later, many UNRWA staffers participated directly in the Oct. 7 terror attack, while others imprisoned and tortured the hostages afterward.
The United Nations, which claims to be dedicated to advancing human rights, has pledged that it will waive any claims to immunity for acts of terror.
Nonetheless, it responded to the victims’ lawsuit by invoking immunity for itself and its employees.
And this week, news broke that the United States Department of Justice has joined that effort, filing a submission to the US District Court arguing that both UNRWA and its workers should have “absolute immunity” from suit.
As the first anniversary of Oct. 7 approaches, the DOJ is lawyering for some of the attack’s perpetrators.
The DOJ letter asserts that the UN officials have immunity under the 1945 International Organizations Immunities Act.
Indeed, the United States has historically supported a broad interpretation of UN immunity — but despite significant prior misdeeds, UN agencies have never before been structurally intertwined with a US-designated terror group, or had numerous employees carry out mass atrocities.
And the administration’s defense of the UN-Hamas terrorists is not only ugly — it is legally unnecessary.
For one, it is not clear that IOIA immunity applies to the UN’s myriad affiliated agencies, an argument that was recently rejected by the DC Circuit Court.
UNRWA, which receives most of its funding from outside the UN, is quite plausibly not covered by the IOIA.
But even if the IOIA does apply to UNRWA, it does not give UN employees a license to kill.
In 2019, the Supreme Court ruled that IOIA only affords international organizations the same immunity from suit that foreign governments enjoy under the Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act.
The rationale is simple: It would be absurd to give the UN more immunity than the countries that created it.
Under the FSIA, sovereign immunity does not extend to support for terrorism, and allows the president to designate “state sponsors” of terror that can be sued for such acts — a list that currently includes Hamas’ patron, Iran.
By extension, the Harris-Biden administration could have determined that by partnering with a State Department-designated foreign terror group, UNRWA can also be sued.
In short, the administration was not legally compelled to argue that UNRWA enjoys greater immunity than foreign countries and former presidents.
This is a policy decision DOJ has chosen to make.
Under the UN Charter, its officials are entitled to such “privileges and immunities as are necessary for the independent exercise of their functions.”
The United Nations thus claims that immunity from civil suits for invading a country and massacring its citizens is “necessary” for the exercise of its functions — and President Biden and Kamala Harris apparently agree.
If immunity for mass murder is necessary for the UN’s functioning, maybe it is time to rethink the UN entirely.
The administration’s position underscores the need for the Limiting Immunity for Assisting Backers of Lethal Extremism (LIABLE) Act, introduced by Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) in March.
This measure would explicitly allow international organizations to be sued for promoting terror, just like countries like Iran can be — a consequence that might finally give UN leaders an incentive to provide meaningful oversight and control, rather than a blank check and legal impunity, to UNRWA and other agencies.
As a former prosecutor, Kamala Harris should approve.

Thin-skinned Kamala Harris proves she can’t go toe-to-toe with world leaders if she won’t even sit for a challenging interview
By Kirsten Fleming Published Sep. 25, 2024, 6:39 p.m. ET
Kamala Harris is finally doing a solo interview with a national reporter – and surprise! It’s with MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle.
That’s the same reporter who on Friday publicly stated Harris owes the American people absolutely no interviews.
No real insight into how she will govern, if elected.
On “Real Time with Bill Maher,” she argued with New York Times columnist Bret Stephens, defending Harris for dodging real media scrutiny because “Kamala Harris isn’t running for perfect,” Ruhle said.
“She’s running against Trump. We have two choices. And so there are some things you might not know her answer to. And in 2024, unlike 2016, for a lot of the American people, we know exactly what Trump will do, who he is and the kind of threat he is to democracy.”
And with those statements, Ruhle revealed that she’s a high ranking member of the #Khive.
Ruhle declared herself a journalist against journalism signaling to Harris that the seat across from her was a soft place to land.
It’s pathetic and mbarrassing for both Ruhle and Harris and should be a massive red flag to undecided voters.
Harris only goes where the water is warm.
She only speaks to friendly faces who won’t press her on that spontaneous political conversion from far left senator vowing to ban fracking and supporting federal prisoners getting sex changes to a champion of the working class.
Harris is simply unwilling to be tested – and her team, along with people like Ruhle – are giving her the protection of an elite offensive line.
Sure this bubble wrap strategy is great to sell “brat” and “joy” merch but it won’t inspire confidence when she has to do the actual job, especially as conflicts continue to mushroom in the Middle East.
How can she go toe to toe with Putin or China’s Xi Jinping or other hostile powers when she is unwilling to answer tough questions?
She’s so uncomfortable and out of her depth she’s even dodging the Al Smith dinner, which is meant to showcase a candidates’ humor, humanity and their ability to take and dish out some healthy ribbing. She is, as Cardinal Dolan ominously noted yesterday, the first presidential candidate to skip this since Walter Mondale in 1984.
Last week, CNN’s Brian Stelter assured us “Kamala Harris is doing more press interviews, if you look closely.” Say what?
In the piece, her spokesperson Ian Sams has painted this strategy as progressive and forward thinking. They aren’t bowing to tradition, but recalibrating for the shifting media landscape.
Harris is “going where people get their news, and in every setting she’s taking questions — often tough ones — about her plans and agenda.”
If she is meeting people where they get their news, why do we have to “look closely” for it all?
So far, she and Tim Walz sat down with CNN’s Dana Bash in pretaped softball chat where Bash couldn’t wipe the smile off her face. Harris did one interview with a local ABC affiliate, a friendly NABJ panel and of course, her live streamed pep rally with Oprah Winfrey.
That same special where Oprah introduced Harris in a long guttural call, sounding like Michael Buffer ushering Hulk Hogan to the ring.
This, as working class heroes Julia Roberts and Jennifer Lopez cheered her on.
Even at the DNC, reporters complained that they were boxed out by influencers there to make “yas kween” content.
Meanwhile Harris isn’t pressed on her border record, her economic policies and continues to act like she isn’t part of the current administration and its myriad of problems.
As for Ruhle, she’s shown a complete disdain for her audience, saying they don’t deserve answers. The peasants will eat what they’re served.
During the Trump administration, Ruhle regularly tweeted demands for “transparency” on a number of issues, yet when it comes to Harris, less is more. Because she knows Harris is weak and needs a hand.
Ruhle is an establishment elite who sneers at working stiffs who genuinely want to vote based on kitchen table issues.
I have many problems with Trump, specifically his lack of discipline, but none of them include his willingness to engage with people, friend or foe. He and JD Vance have been sitting down for long ranging chats with podcasters and reporters. They’ve held press conferences. And Vance is a regular presence on Sunday morning shows.
And then there is Harris, who in dodging combative interviews, has shown us all we need to know.
