Speechfx is still in business and doing fine.
Underhanded scam!! Diluted the shareholders to death and kept all cash. Ignorant. All they did was took the company private and got out from underneath the Gaizosoft deal and the shareholders. Sleezy

Something is happining here, I see some volume!,,
yead its called delisted
Something is about to go down, couple more trades and 2's are up!
There was an 8-K filed this year on 04/18/2011 about a spin-off.
Theres still no bid which is weird. Only two .0001 left on the ask and now there is three .0002 on the ask for the first time in about six months. This should be moving shortly IMO.
Don't know, they haven't reported in some time. There were legal issues last roughly 2 years ago when a merger went bad and there were share issues. I ddon't think there has been an update since then.
See my previous post # 3227
what is the share structure on this one ?
L2 anybody? With the volume I think we may be moving here shortly...
after hours buy is why it did that
Ya 54000% up, seriously something wrong? N back to .0001 right a way?
It was actually 180 shares at .0055 =.99 cent. How do you even buy at .0055 when the ask is at .0001. Something does not smell right around here as it seems it did get a small buying frenzy on speculation , i wish that SP nwould have stuck through the early morning to get rid of my position here but no such luck so its looking like another tax writeoff.
180 shares = 0.018 cents... How do you even buy like that??? And how does it drive the stock up 54000%??? Some very shady (and I'm guessing illegal) shi* going on here I think...
They have no idea how to answer that, you should ask your broker, but all they will say was so moron bought 180 shares after market
Sorry, here's what I sent them...
Good morning
Can you please update what is happening with the stock price? Some very strange movement occurred late yesterday (5400% increase after hours on 180 shares volume) and early this morning (98% decrease, higher volume).
Thank you.
Regards,
There is no bid price at all? Wtf
They don't have an idea of who bought, what did you even ask? The only thing they would know is news
Yesterday afternoon I guess. Here's the response I got... Not good... Something really fishy going on...

It was after hours at 4:28pm for 180 shares if that makes any sense?!
NOPE, I HAD A SELL ON IT YESTERDAY AND DIDNT GO THROUGH SO IT HAD TO BE AN AFTER HOUR BUY
Any updates on fonix ?
when was the buy though?
You never know. They have always responded in the past, good or bad. Hoping for the best.
doubt you hear anything
I just emailed their investor relations trying to find out WTF is going on. Will post response if I get one.
Wtf is going on
Not sure what's going on with a 180 share buy but I wish this were true. My Questrade account still shows this at.0001. Hopefully we find out more in the coming days. 180 share trade at 4:28pm? Wishing this was all true! Maybe a reverse split has occurred but I can't find anything yet that reflects this. GLTA
WHAT THE HELL JUST HAPPENED??? NOT COMPLAINING OR ANYTHING, BUT IS THIS LEGIT? HOLY CRAP BATMAN!!!
You mean spinoff?
Looking for a reverse split coming next month,
I wouldnt invest anymore in this than you want to lose.
All of which is only my opinion
A little news or info from the company would be nice.
I am waiting on something too. Nice to see something revved up!

Fonix VoiceIn Game Edition rushes into Unreal Engine 3
Fonix Corporation, a company that specialises in voice-recognition technology, has announced a deal with Epic Games in order to integrate their VoiceIn Game Edition voice-recognition software into their Unreal Engine 3. In case you haven't been keeping on top of the latest developments in video game technology, Epic's Unreal Engine 3 is designed to deliver cutting-edge graphics to the next generation of video games on both consoles and PC.
From action games to military simulations, the Unreal Engine provides the platform and tools to develop cutting-edge 3D projects. We offer three versions of the engine:
Unreal Engine 3
UE3 is Epic's next-generation technology, intended for games shipping on next-generation consoles and PCs. Multiple UE3-powered games are currently in development at Epic and by our licensees, targeting a diverse set of genres from fighting games to MMPOGs to shooters. Recently, Epic announced that it will be using Unreal Engine 3 in upcoming titles Unreal Tournament 2007 and Gears of War. For more Unreal Engine 3 licensing news, including announcements of support for Sony’s Playstation 3 and Microsoft’s Xbox 360, visit www.epicgames.com.
Unreal Engine 2X
UE2X has been highly optimized for the Xbox, and makes full use of Xbox-only graphical and architectural features. This is the engine behind the jaw-dropping visuals of Unreal Championship 2: The Liandri Conflict.
Unreal Engine 2
This is the current generation technology seen in Unreal Tournament 2004. UE2.5 is targeted at today's hardware and consoles; it supports DirectX8 and OpenGL on PC, Mac, Linux, Xbox, and PS2.
We offer excellent support directly by the engine's developers. We also provide the Unreal Developer Network as a resource to both engine licensees and the mod community

IDV, Epic Bring Speedtree to Unreal Engine 3
Following news of similar additions to Epic's Unreal Engine, Interactive Data Visualization, Inc. (IDV) has announced that it has joined Epic Games' Integrated Partners Program to fully integrate SpeedTreeRT into Unreal Engine 3 and is now available for licensing directly from IDV.
SpeedTreeRT, which, the company notes, won the 2005 Front Line Award for middleware, delivers highly realistic trees and plants, with adjustable wind effects, user-configurable and seamless LOD transitions, and an included library of more than 1,000 tree, plant and marine models representing 200 species. SpeedTreeRT includes SpeedTreeCAD, a Windows application used to create and edit animated trees in real-time.
"IDV's technology relationship with Epic began several years ago and has put SpeedTree in the hands of a large community of outstanding game developers," said IDV President Michael Sechrest. "Formalizing the partnership is an obvious next step and lets our customers know how committed we are to working with Unreal Engine 3."
Under the terms of Epic's Integrated Partners Program (IPP), which creates formal business relationships with selected companies that develop cross-platform technologies to integrate with Unreal Engine 3, IPP partner companies agree to provide a high level of technical support for UE3 licensees through Epic's established support channels, keep their implementations up-to-date with the latest UE3 versions, and work with Epic on potential promotional and co-marketing efforts.
"SpeedTree is a very popular option for outdoor gaming across the range of genres and platforms," said Mark Rein, Vice President, Epic Games, Inc. "We're pleased that our customers can now license this technology and be confident that it has been fully integrated with Unreal Engine 3, and that there are dedicated support resources at IDV to help them maximize its impact within the UE3 environment."
The partnership with SpeedTree marks the latest in a line of third-party additions to the Unreal Engine 3 suite, with Quazal's Spark! "lobby in a box", Fonix Speech's VoiceIn Game Edition software, and Engenuity's AI.implant software all having been implemented in the past several weeks.

SAMSUNG SMARTPHONE with CHINESE voice recognition.
There's a telecom expo going on right now in Hong Kong, which helps o explain all the recent cellphone announcements and groovy mockups we've seen. Now Samsung is getting into the mix with a smartphone of its own, the SGH-i718. Running on Windows Mobile 5, the i718 has a 2.0-megapixel camera, microSD support and the like, but because it's only scheduled to be released in China as of yet, it also features Chinese voice recognition. They've also thrown in some sort of business card reader. It also looks pretty decent. So good, in fact, there's a few more shots after the jump.
