PERTH, WESTERN AUSTRALIA–(Marketwire – Dec. 22, 2011) -
First Half Calendar 2012 Sales
Talison Lithium Limited (“Talison” or the “Company”) (TSX:TLH) advises that it has concluded negotiations with its customers with regards to first half calendar 2012 sales. A price increase of 15% has been agreed with customers across Talison’s entire product range. Approximately 75% of sales for the period have been contracted with the balance to be sold to other customers who typically contract on a shipment by shipment basis.
Bunbury Port Congestion
Due to berth closures and unplanned Port outages there is currently significant congestion at the Port of Bunbury impacting all Port users. This may result in approximately 38,000 tonnes of Talison’s lithium concentrate sales that were ready at the Port for shipment earlier this month being delayed into early January 2012. A delay would reduce sales for the December quarter but is not expected to affect sales for the 2012 fiscal year.
1 Year Injury Free
Talison has recently passed an important milestone of one year lost time injury (LTI) free days at its Greenbushes Lithium Operations. This was achieved through the commitment of all employees and contractors towards safety. The milestone is especially notable as it was achieved during the presence of a large additional workforce on site as part of the current expansion of the Greenbushes Lithium Operations.

September/October... fact is stranger than fiction... what a reversal!
I don't know whether I've misunderstood your question but I haven't seen anything remotely approaching 25-30 (presumably $$) in 5yrs time, but most "experts" give $7.5(C) as the target price. Lots of chatter about Talison on the Canadian Bullboards at:-
Stockhouse Bullboards
Anybody see Talison (TLH) going to 25-30 in 4 to 5 years? They are the largest lithium miners and have been increasing capacity and market share ( they now have 28% of world lithium market), and have past SQM as the largest lithium company by lithium sales. Cormark Securities did a recent anaysis of TLH,long term and they predict 24 by 2015. I don't have the exact URL for the report, but just goole search "Cormark Talison Lithium" and you wiil find it. Interesting report. Anyone else long on TLH? Give me your thoughts.
Last week's reversal confirmed by this week: +18.53%
Just starting to enter sound buy territory... the market will tell us!

+0.63% for the week...
All the best, my friends.
I will,
Why can i not see any previous post<
In September 2010, Talison Lithium merged with Salares Lithium Inc which gave it exposure to prospective lithium brine projects in Chile.
OK... I hope you will add to the comment.
wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Vecchiola is an air services company that flies the Atacama region of Chile and deals with many mining companies.

As far as Mammouth, I do not know...
What is the current connection with Vecchiola, talison merged with Salares Lithium Inc, This looks like the property mammouth is been touting aboult, Salt Gold neighbor?
-5.69% is the scorecard for the week...
Hi Guys, why the big drop in early March? The PP...Dilution
The chart looks like a rollercoaster ride back up is possible?
I heard of some insider selling? Profit taking?
I am really tempted to jump back in. I bought last October when it appeared
On the TSX. I sold to chase Gold.
Any info would be greatly appreciated...Thanks
I cannot comment on the others mentioned but there is little doubt the money is flowing out of Talison - first the insiders sold and lately retail has given up and sold.
Talison or LIT
Can someone knock some sense into me.
Was going to place my lithium bet with Talison, but decided to run a 6/3/1 month comparison to LIT. LIT has performed better than Talison over that time and short term < 1 month, SQM performed better.
Is the interest in Talison from a PPS appreciation point of view, long term... or am I missing something?
Any help appreciated, but my DD says Talison is not the place to be if compared.
My friends, for the week: +1%!!!
Yea, I have a feeling buying today was in part, because of the news all over the net of the detroit auto show. Seems like the big push of the year is Hybrid, electric etc. Not to mention the recent pullback from a nice run. The buzz should continue imo and we should see great gains from here. POP
No fresh news to drive it... just the same rock solid fundamentals.
Little action on this one today. up 10.71% so far.....
Close today at 7.51 :) Yet another 3.59%+
Close at 7.25 I must admit I have never been big into commodity plays. I think I like it! lol

This must be the reason for the recent spike.
Highlights
? Commissioning of the Stage 1 expansion at the Greenbushes Lithium Operations has
commenced ahead of schedule and the plant is already producing at design capacity
? Design of the Stage 2 expansion is being revised to allow for further increases in
capacity above the original design
? Board approval received to order long lead items for the Stage 2 expansion
? Talison included in the Solactive Global Lithium Index
? Results of annual general meeting of shareholders
Does anybody see TLH going to $20 in the next 2 years as the EVs hit the world market, esp in China. I have 15,100 shrs and plan to but up to $8? then hold for 2 years.
Look at this move!! Kind of slow for a pink, but pretty good moves for a 6$ stock TLTHF
This thing is moving a bit. I picked up a few shares. TLTHF I missed the buying opp for 4ish a while back and have regretted it. Thought It would go back down: Kind of a steady climb up since.
Yes, through OTC markets: http://www.otcmarkets.com/stock/TLTHF/quote

Talison Lithium was formed in 2009 after the division of Talison Minerals into two separate companies focussing on their respective tantalum and lithium businesses Talison's operations are located adjacent to the town of Greenbushes, approximately 250km south of Perth, Western Australia. The Greenbushes area is recognised as the longest continuously operated mining area in Western Australia. Tin mining commenced in the Greenbushes area in 1888 and the mining of tantalum started in the 1940s. The initial development of the lithium ore body at Greenbushes commenced in 1983 and a 30,000tpa lithium processing plant was commissioned in 1985 to produce a variety of different lithium concentrates for the technical market. The processing plant capacity was increased to 100,000tpa in the early 1990s and to 150,000tpa capacity by 1997, including the ability to produce a lithium concentrate for the production of lithium chemicals. Talison was incorporated in 2007 for the purpose of acquiring the advanced minerals business from Sons of Gwalia. The business included lithium and tantalum mining and processing operations at Greenbushes; tantalum mining and processing operations at Wodgina in Western Australia; and the marketing of tantalum and lithium which is currently carried out from Talison's office in Perth, Australia. In 2008, Talison commenced an expansion of one of its main pits in order to ensure continued supply of the high quality ore used to supply the technical markets. In response to growing demand, production capacity was increased to 260,000tpa in 2009. |
Lithium (chemical symbol: Li) is the lightest of all metals. It does not occur as a pure element in nature but is contained within stable minerals or salts including a range of rock types, brine lakes and sea water. The contained concentration of lithium is generally low and there are only a limited number of resources where lithium can be economically extracted. These are lithium rich salar brine lakes and mineral deposits. Lithium can be processed to form a variety of different chemicals depending on its end use. Lithium and its chemical compounds exhibit a broad range of beneficial properties including:
As a result, lithium is used in numerous applications which can be divided into two broad categories: chemical applications and technical applications. Lithium from mineral deposits like Greenbushes can be used in both chemical and technical applications, servicing a wide variety of end markets as outlined in the diagram above. |
