I think this little bank will easily push past the four buck level this year.

Dang, last price... $2.29!!!

Looks like a steal at these prices... Although just a little digging reveals that they owe $2,000,000 in TARP.
I'm still pretty interested in this one... Great location and they seem to be doing a great job at cleaning things up. I'm gonna keep my eye on it.

Despite the amount they owe in TARP, they've been added to my List.

I believe we're looking at a book value for ATBA at around 3.16. Not bad!

I'm thinking it was around two bucks but I'll get back to you as quickly as I can on that.

There are 2.2 million shares outstanding and not the 1.40 that IHUB shows.

The bank did have 2 million in TARP at one point and that was sold for a "premium" by the government. This was told to me by the CFO. I can't remember her name now.

The bank appears to be on fairly solid ground and is located in one of the finest places in South Carolina.

ATBA made a profit of 14K for the 3rd quarter of 2014.

ATBA does not owe TARP and at present the bank has a cap level around 10.74%.

ATBA made a profit of 142K for the 2nd quarter.

Atlantic Bancshares, Inc. serves as a bank holding company for its subsidiary Atlantic Community Bank (the Bank). The principal business activity of the Bank is to provide banking services to domestic markets, in the Beaufort County region of South Carolina. As of December 31, 2011, the Company's loans portfolio included construction and land development loans, residential real estate loans, commercial real estate loans, commercial other loans and consumer loans. As of December 31, 2011, the Company's total loans receivable was $ 64.335 million. The Company's investment portfolio includes mortgage-backed securities and municipal securities. As of December 31, 2011, the Company's total investment securities were $ 6.148 million. As of December 31, 2011, the Company had certificate of deposits amounted to $ 30.405 million.
