Modern MFG Services, Inc. Signs Letter of Intent for the Acquisition Of Watercraft Military Defense Contractor
Modern MFG Services, Inc. Signs Letter of Intent for the Acquisition Of
Watercraft Military Defense Contractor
MUKILTEO, Wash., May 14, 2002 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- Modern MFG
Services, Inc (OTC Bulletin Board: MMFS) Signs Letter of Intent for the
acquisition of Watercraft Military Defense Contractor.
Modern MFG Services, Inc. (Modern) is pleased to announce the signing of a
letter of Intent to acquire 100% of Integrated Maritime Platforms International
Inc., the designer, developer and manufacturer of the GB-Challenger Class Craft
a high-speed, long-range multi-mission coastal patrol craft with interchangeable
mission modules.
The GB-Challenger Class Craft range in size from 7 to 16 meters, are highly
maneuverable, have a range in excess of 500 nautical miles at continuous speeds
of 40+ knots, and are capable of carrying a heavy payload. All of the
GB-Challenger Craft have been designed to be reconfigurable platforms, which
will accept mission modules that plug into the front deck section of the basic
craft. Available mission modules range from dive salvage, drug interdiction,
environmental response, and firefighting, to mine countermeasures and weapons
deployment. Mission modules can be removed and replaced in 30 minutes or less,
providing environmental, commercial, and military clients worldwide with a
flexible, multi-mission system, which performs exceptionally well in open ocean,
riverine, and littoral (brown water/near shore) environments.
Through this acquisition, Modern will become a member of a select group of
companies working on a program known as the Unmanned Surface Vehicle Consortium.
In an agreement with the United States Navy this consortium will design and
develop a Naval Undersea Warfare Combat Vehicle Prototype. Estimated value
placed on this agreement exceeds $22,500,000. The initial value of this program
to Modern (through the acquisition of Integrated Maritime) is approximately $12
million. Currently the company has a prototype boat in operation and is in
various stages of design and development of other crafts.
Biological Defense Corporation is continuing its testing on the sterilization of
active strains of Staphylococcus and Streptococcus viruses. Initial test results
have indicated a disturbance within the virus is occurring. The effect this will
have on the sterilization of the virus is not known at this time. Further
testing to determine precise output levels is on going. The Company will keep
its shareholders updated on the progress of the testing and will announce
further developments as they become available.

Neat NEW website INFO just out :
http://www.modernmfg.com/works.asp
""How It Works
Biological Defense Corporations proprietary technology is based upon the principle that by directing certain non-ionizing radio waves in the direction of undesirable bacteria, viruses, and microorganisms including Anthrax, a complete sterilization will occur.
Sterilizing Wherever They May Be:
Biological Defense Corporations unique way of creating and directing certain radio waves will allow our signals to pass through non-metallic materials, thus sterilizing the microorganisms wherever they may be; In the air, inside a package, surface of a table, even inside a human body.
Visible Example:
Much like Sun light passing through a window pane to illuminate the inside of a room; radio waves can pass through most materials, and deliver it's effects as if the material it was passing through did not exist. Non-metallic objects are treated as being "transparent" to radio waves.
A Little More Involved:
The radio waves created by our proprietary technologies are selectively tuned to resonate or vibrate key structures within the microorganisms. The transference of energy, is transmitted from special antenna positioned near the microorganisms. When enough energy is thus "coupled" to the microorganisms, the electromagnetic and electrostatic forces shatter the microorganism. Its structure is destroyed, and, unable to reproduce, it is rendered sterile.
Audible Example: Simple
Blow over the top of any bottle and you will hear a note particular to the materials and shape of the bottle. That same note, played loud enough over a loudspeaker, could destroy that bottle.
Audible Example: Technical
Place eight (8) fine crystal deep wine glasses on a table. Place a small piece of putty clay in the bottom of each glass (apx. 3/4” in diameter). Open the first case of octave music set of eight (8) tuning forks. Push each tuning fork, picked at random, into each glass. Secure hand holding end into putty so it will stand without touching the sides of the glass. Open the second case of identical tuning forks and pick one fork at random. Hit tuning fork and quickly wave over each glass. One tuning fork in the glasses will start to vibrate. Hit hand held tuning fork again and place right next to the one that vibrated. The harmonic vibrations of both tuning forks will break the glass. Visualize replacing the wine glass as a microorganism – and the tuning fork as our technology. Another term for this harmonic disruption is called “sympathetic resonance.”
Resonance Induced Immunization:
Biological Defense Corporations technology creates Apathogenic fragments of the microorganism which the immune system can recognize and remember. Should the client be exposed to that microorganism again, the client’s immune system may already have produced antibodies to attack the microorganism and can respond more quickly. We call this resonance induced immunization.
Wanted End Results:
If this takes place inside of the human body, the immune system can then remove the debris of the shattered microorganisms from the tissues. Since the resonance of human cells and structures is so different from those of microorganisms there is not risk of having this technology damage human cells. ""

Prototype made: Anthrax Spore Sterilizing Technology
OPTO is back from his much needed Walkabout
It is said, "NO NEWS IS GOOD NEWS"
THIS IS GREAT NEWS!!
Modern MFG Services, Inc - Announces Completion of Prototype and Signing of Additional License Agreements
MUKILTEO, Wash., Feb 13, 2002 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Modern MFG Services, Inc. (Modern) (OTC Bulletin Board: MMFS - news) has secured the exclusive worldwide licensing rights from Biological Defense Corporation (BDC) to manufacture, market, distribute, and sell its product lines utilizing their Biological Warfare Sterilization Technology to destroy lethal strains of Anthrax Spores. This exclusive license will also include all known variations of anthrax and potential future mutations.
In addition to BDC's Anthrax Spore Sterilizing Technology, Modern has secured the exclusive worldwide rights to manufacture the equipment used for the sterilization of any biological warfare toxins, as identified by the Department of Defense or the Center for Disease Control, presently known or discovered within the next 17 years.
A prototype of the initial product line has been completed. Testing using this prototype by BDC, is now underway. Initial testing will include the sterilization of active strains of Staphylococcus and Streptococcus viruses to be confirmed with a Nikon E600 Eclipse Research microscope while concurrently recorded digitally with a Nikon DXM 1200 at 12 Mega-pixels with "Phase Contrast, Darkfield, and DIC" photomicrography. Testing of the Staphylococcus and Streptococcus viruses will be done initially, due to the increased difficulty in obtaining lethal anthrax spores for research. Upon sterilization of the Staphylococcus and Streptococcus viruses, the company will proceed to a Level 4 biohazard laboratory to begin the testing processes required for the sterilization of lethal anthrax spores.
"We are very pleased with our progress and commitments with BDC. Being a part of such a potentially significant scientific breakthrough is certainly a unique privilege," said Modern MFG Services Inc. President, Roger Janssen.
Modern MFG Services, Inc. is continuing to work with manufacturers in relation to the e-procurement division of the company. In the search for new and proprietary manufactured production parts to host on our VirtualRFQ.com website, Modern was able to secure the opportunity with BDC. The new VirtualRFQ.com website incorporating the ActiveRMS software along with many other enhancements will be launched shortly. Several select companies are currently beta testing the site. The results to date have all been positive.
