This happened in my backyard. I live near Powhatan and read of the fire. (There are a lot of horse farms around here; Powhatan and Chesterfield counties, where I live are suburds of Richmond, where VCU is located. VCU Hospital was formerly known as the Medical College of Virginia)
It's good PR for Avita, and the widespread used of Recell.
He'd probably be talking about that celebratory barbecue!
I'm still shaking my head....... Obviously I want to see this to be the beginning of the share price recovery. I started investing in RCEL in 2019.... averaged down.... but I would love to see all lots in the green.
But, it's far better than it was, and, hopefully, not nearly as good as it will be in the next couple of years.
I love seeing the stock rise.... I've been a long time holder.... Seen plenty of ups and downs but, like many here, believe the products are truly beneficial.
That said, was there some very recentrumors/new s sparking the share price increase?
Isn't today the day that soft tissue approval from the FDA is expected?
If so, is there a particular time of day that such announcements are made?
You obviously have never heard tbe story of Bighub and Jack Sparrow..... Bighub was massive fraud where the SEC and FINRA sat on their hands (no surprise) while thousands of shareholders were bilked.....
Wow! Up 11% today.... Anyone know what happened?
I'm all for $3.47....what happened to $2.47?
Let's hope this is just the beginning of a nice and steady long term rise in sales revenue and share price.
The appointment of a new CFO?
Seems like a tribute to the many contributions that jugs made, imho.
I miss his posts.
That was the offering publicized at the end of January this year. When the offering was announced, the share price was somewhere around $2.60 and quickly tanked to almost $2.00 or thereabouts. (I'm on my phone and can't look up the specific share prices.)
It has, obviously, rebounded nicely but not because of the offering on the 28th.
I agree with you that NGL is risky. I sold out a while ago and re deployed those profits into other ventures
As I said, I believe Jugs sold out of NGL some time ago just announced its next distribution.... something like $0.45/sh with adequate fcf coverage
What he bought and sold was his choice. Agree or disagree as you like.
He was a friend to many. He will be missed.
If memory serves, Jugs got out of NGL some time ago. He liked EPD, amongst others, including VYNE and RCEL. I think he got out of RCEL because its been sideways and has been greatly adversely affected by Covid-19.
He loved his wife dearly. From his postings and conversations over the years, I have little doubt that she has been well provided for..... Except for his continued
companionship.....
I did the same earlier today...
I don't have a good feeling.....
I haven't heard anything, but Trueheart may have some info soon.
Truehart:
I think I found it. I can't pm you, but email me at Spickus1@comcast.net and I will send it to you.
Len:
I hope you read all of these posts here and on other boards, or have someone like wife read them so she, and you, will know how much your words and thoughts have meant both to me and others.
I have found you to always be utterly realistic yet kind to and tolerate of those who we suffer as fools or ill-intended.
You have imparted knowledge and wisdom, selflessly, alway taking the high road.
I want you to know that I have always appreciated your contributions, wit, wisdom and humor.
I wish you easy travels from here to wherever your journey ultimately takes you. You will be missed. And my best wishes to your bride, for whom your love and commitment has always here been obvious.
Take care, my friend.
Scott
I'm just glad to get away from the negative inferences from Menlo's failed drug trials....
Good for you! I'm trying to do that with Vanguard......
The Aussie exchange last night showed a 10.16% gain for Avita, closing at $9.00 AUD.....
When, if at all, will trading on the AUX cease for Avita?
As a side observation, wasn't the immediate post-split price on NASDAQ $30.45?
Thanks! I thought I had kept relatively abreast of the redomiciliation, as well as the reverse split. Like many others, my sense of it is that the share price will drop afterwards, as most folks typically think of a reverse split as akin to the kiss of death.
Here, it's more of an alignment between shareholders Down Under on the ASX and shareholders on NASDAQ. However, only those longs who have invested time and energy to learn about Avita will understand otherwise.
Nonetheless, I would rather take advantage of the dip that I expect, and be able to increase my (meager) holdings.
Thus, the effective date of the reverse split becomes important not only for investment purposes but for tax purposes as well.
When is the reverse split supposed to be effected?
The failed trials served only to cement the nature of this company as FOMX in MNLO corporate clothing. FOMX shareholders received 1.8 shares of MNLO for every share of FOMX.
The busted trials mean that the FOMX drugs, like amzeeq and the three (?) others in the trial pipeline are what is attracting institutional investments.
Look up FOMX and do your research and you will discover what this company is now really about.
Gee, you're right!
I just checked the pps and it's not even right around $3.00.
It's $3.21.
Hmmmmm........you were so right!
I must say, you are persistent.
I wonder how many shares you are short?
I got my additional MNLO shares last night....I had held FOMX in separate accounts, including MerrillEdge.....That reconciliation was off quite a bit, from my calculations, using 1.8006 as the multiplying factor from the MNLO 8K filed April 2, 2020.
Has anybody else had problems receiving the correct number of shares that they should have received?
I am guessing that this means that former FOMX shareholder will be receiving the 1.8 shares....... I have mixed feelings about this....
Any idea what the time line will be?
Just checked the Aus exchange... Avh is at $0.385 AUD
MNLO announced quarterly earnings before the open..... EPS beat estimates by $0.56......but the market hasn't noticed!
So, this is a disclosure that options to purchase shares at $0.79 AUD are being granted to insiders, after approval at the 2018 Annual meeting?
At least, that's what I think I am seeing.
I was more impressed by looking at the half year report last night that showed a huge increase in revenues.....
Half-Year Report for the six month period ended 31 December 2019. Revenues of RECELL® Systemfor First Six Month Period Ended 31 December 2019Product sales and other revenues for the six months ended 31 December 2019 were as follows (unaudited): Six Months Ended(In thousands of Australian Dollars)

U.S. product sales A$ 9,274 A$1,102
International product sales 410 711
Total product sales 9,684 1,813
Other income (including BARDA) 3,846 5,113

Pete - pardon my ignorance, but how are the distributions tax free?
Fwiw, Cramer today talked about Shopify being a potential target of two companies each worth over $70B......and shares of SHOP are up 5%
Amen!
I'm seeing $0.40 pre-market upside right now..... I didn't expect a 16% gain like on tbe AU Exchange, but figured it would be more along the lines of a 10% gain today
I read through the acticle, but I didn't see where the lockup termination date was mentioned.
Also, why would rhey sell when the price is under $1.00 and they seem, from the document you posted, to be paying over $3.00 per shsre......I'm missing something, I guess...
Am I reading that correctly? That 20% of AVH shares are sold short? Wow.......
Avita spiked to $0.54AUS and is bouncing around $.53AUS right now
