Looking back through charts with nzd and they sure look like nzd is fixing gain some strength. I look for NZD/USD to head north in a big way by the looks of the charts.

Jav, if you set it up and try it just do not shut the program down. To set it up go to your renko chart and open navigator. From there add a moving average and set it to exponential with period 8 and shift to 8. Then add the smoothed henkin ashi and level the settings as they are.

You probably do not want to based on what I just figured out, I shut down MT4 and booted back up and the renko chart completely changed with the feeder chart set on daily. I thought this might be happening so I marked the chart and it is. As you can see below it looks nothing like the previous chart I posted, pivot locations over the last 4 to 5 hours have changed. I would be very careful with this renko indicator, especially if you shut down.

Might be time to short it again based on the trend line test.

Jav what I have done is set a exponential ma up with the settings at period 8 and a shift 8 and the smoothed Heiken Ashi. The feeder chart is set on daily. Basically when the price crosses both you trade it in the direction it crosses. I was just using the ma but decided to add the Henkin Ashi for confirmation. Really just playing with it currently to see how it goes.

Noticed that yesterday but the charts seem to act differently also, not sure its feeding correctly on the longer time frames. Also, I checked GJ for the excessive spike between 5 and 6 this morning and there was not one. Checked back about 10:00 and guess what was showing between those hours?

I am marking the chart to see how they are forming.

Looks to me like 4 to 8 is the perfect time for the excessive wick candles too.

Pennies, I have been studying the renko charts and it appears to me the best time to trade with the most movement is between 4 am and 8 am eastern time, the rest of the time they seem to stall out.

Has anyone noticed how wide the spreads are on oanda mt4 are anymore?

This setup seems to be the way to go if only seeking a couple trades a week.

it's ok I got it. Going to add your lower indicator this weekend and do some studying on the chart. It's throwing me off without the wicks on the candles.

pennies, i tried setting this up and I can not get it to work. Once I drag the renko live chart file over the yellow box does not show up.

I am giving a try at a short and hold till the bottom on a small position.

Pennies, if I am reading this correctly we should move back down to at least the 174.00 area.

Hey heavy that indicator you have at the bottom of your chart is pretty neat, where did you get it.

Check this out, Goldman is projecting .95 on EU. Seems it may be time to load the boat and hold on.
