What a helpful post! Would you consider posting that message on other ALEAF forums/message boards?
CEO hinted at good news coming by months end (APR)
Aphria struggled in their latest Q. Will Aleafia have the same story? Aphria complained about the lockdown in Ontario, but Aleafia has their delivery service so it could be possible Aleafia took market share away from Aphria! Did Aleafia launch recreational products that will be included in revenue for the next reportable Q?
Are you asking questions that they cannot legally answer?
Can you share some of what info youre looking for here on this board? Maybe someone here already knows.
I havent tried contacting IR as of yet.
Thanks for the Kin Slips link. I wasnt finding them on the OCS website because I thought they were listed under Symbol brand. Duh! Hope to get a specific breakdown of revenue from Kin Slips such as do they pay a cut from each individual sale for licensing fee or did they pay a one time contract fee?
the apparent discount will not apply if the deal does not go through as planned....one risk you take, however likely or not
Kind of surprised they only got $1M or so for that cultivation license. But it sounds like, the license is only good for use on their property, thus it looks like this partnership is actually a merger?
I would say that almost all the cannabis stocks reached a peak at the same time around FEB 8-10 along with the Gamestop/Reddit spike etc. And almost all of the sector has retreated just as quickly after they all rose.
Soon we should know if Aleafia should be moving along with the entire sector or not when the next earnings report comes out.
Will they be generating enough net revenue to cover expenses...
Also the focus will shift when the Coronavirus bill in US is passed and they decide to bring up cannabis legislation like theyve signaled they will do.
Just wondering how much did this building cost, how large is it, and has it already been paid for? Will they expand into other provinces, BC or Quebec? Keep the good news coming...
Anybody understand if TGIFF is growing the plants for producing CBD products in the same 67,000sq ft facility as they grow their AMA products?
Just my guess, Im predicting Lea Ray will be the next director to leave with new director to be named for election at 2021 annual meeting before JUN 30 2021
Whoa! Thanks for pointing that out! That does read 16 million shares traded, right?
Could this be a short squeeze story?
So this means one more director will be resigning by JUN 30 2021. Which one is it?
Loreto Grimaldi-Chair of the HR and Compensation Committee
Daniel Milliard-Director
Lea Ray-Acting Board Chair and Chair of the Audit Committee
Mark J. Sandler-Chair of the Governance Committee
Glenn Washer-Director
Theres alot of things I like about Aleafia, but one thing I dont like is the line item of Goodwill on the balance sheet. Its huge. All because of the Emblem deal?
Im not a fan of many board members. Isnt it their job to oversee shareholders interests? Many of these people are on multiple companies board of directors. Has anyone ever communicated with a board member?
Mackie Research Analyst McLeish appears to understand the sector as here is another article about his cannabis research analysis from DEC 2019:
https://www.cantechletter.com/2019/12/pot-sector-bankruptcies-are-coming-says-mackie-research/
I'll admit I was surprised to see the share price jump from around $.05 US to the current level and has been holding here now for a while.
If their small LV operation can show profitability, then I think they will announce news about expanding the LV site.
Whats gonna make the Fiore brand a standout from all the others?
Heres one quick comparison. I just quickly looked at the latest Q financials and basically looked at revenue minus expenses and came up with this list. Some are in Canadian dollars, I think one or two are in US dollars.
Realize again this is not exact comparisons but in general.
This is not comparing revenue or shareholder equity, this is a rough figure of Operating Loss for the most recent Q.
Canopy Growth <234M>
Aurora < 42M>
Aphria < 43M>
Cronos < 41M>
Hexo <2.5M>
Namaste <6.2M>
Organigram < 28M>
Emerald Health<9.8M>
Supreme < 44M>
Aleafia < 21M>
And again, this does not reflect cash and equivalents on hand.
Are you kidding me that no one has realized the $3 price target story came out in MAY 2019????
Im a believer in Aleafia but thats an old article.
Lets see if we can get some comparisons to other cannabis companies and see where we should be valued at.
Still holding my bag of shares. Maybe they can still make it. Obviously they need to expand that 10,000sq ft facility in sync with return of tourism to Vegas. Another large NV company with 455,000 sq ft facility having major debt issues (FLOOF)
One thing that bothers me a little is the
goodwill from Emblem on the balance sheet. Its quite a large number.
But again, it only worries me a little.
Unfortunately you missed the fact that they sold their APHA shares. I wasnt happy reading that in the Q report since APHA shares have been rising. So, we'll have to see how they deal with that FEB deb maturity date.
$24M convertible debentures mature on FEB 2 2021
Company reported $34.5M in cash and equivalents as of SEP 30 2020.
If current progress continues to show path to profitability, the company may renegotiate the debentures with approval of current holders, if they arent able to payoff in full by maturity.
Your theory sounds correct to me. Lets ramp up the tourist crowd with the new vaccine news too from Pfizer.
Thanks for the post. Like the name change, this time it makes sense to me. Vaccine news helps tourism too of course.
Another board posting about an insider transaction at $3 a share
Thanks for the heads up! Like his thought process. Have to see how the numbers and the future economy are going to play out.
I dont really feel that badly about previous management. Its a brand new industry and everyone was trying their best. Now we've got a CEO and team who I really agree with regarding TGIFs plans for the future. Thanks for posting the video link. Nobody on Yahoo's board has posted this.
Check that.. On the Walmart App I found:
Canna Hemp X Recovery Cream 3oz $34.98
Canna Hemp Body Lotion 8.1oz $17.99
Canna Hemp Organic Lip Balm 0.15oz $8.99
All 3 items on Walmart app says "Sold & shipped by Flodis"
Havent seen any products on Walmart.com yet but a few are on Amazon.com
Milestones
Annual report ending MAR 31 2020 expected SEP 12
2nd Tranche of financing expected to close SEP 30
Q report ending JUN 30 2020 expected OCT 13
No more Celista. No more Chase. No more Washington. No more ACC. Annual financials due SEP 12. Even after that report comes out with for year ending MAR 31 2020, we still wont know where they stand financially since the ACC settlement is "confidential". I guess shareholders dont even get to know whats up with their investment.

Goal #1 - Report profitable Q
Interim CEO says he is "laser focused"
Actually i was expecting even less than 9.8M, so this might be good news to the share price
Results as expected IMO. I wouldnt think market share price will move much, but we shall see. Conference call scheduled for 8:30am EST

I would like confirmation on status of Port Perry
Actually medical revenue this Q shouldnt be much different from the last 2Q's. Probably 1.3 to 1.7M
Dont really care if they match last Q revenue from wholesale because now that they have Paris extraction, they should get higher per gram prices if they are able to sell the products. And the big revenue number will be coming when the Port Perry harvest is completed and successfully sold. But that wont be recognized in this Q report on WED
Dont get me wrong. I like this company.
What are we expecting for revenue this Q?
Im betting medical revenue increased. But did ALEAF make revenue from selling wholesale or through One Plant, Province stores or other retail dispensaries? Or are they holding inventory to process into 2.0 products?
