Down 15% on no news?...
I’ve seen Wall Street Bets on Reddit act like rocket fuel to a stock.
Need more eyes and action (and consensus) on that post for it move though.
Happy to see the discussion start though.
That was my thinking at first reading.
From my spot on the dock, it looks like this ship has started to turn!
If we can continue this momentum (and get 2.0 to push some more wind into our sails/sales) we should be good!
1.3 million likes. That’s the kind of exposure we need.
I hope we’re working behind the scenes to boost our social media following. We’ve got some great content getting single digit likes/retweets from a following of only a few hundred.
This Ignite news and other developments should start to move the needle.
Great reads.
“Most startups in the sector focus on various devices intended to improve user experience and consumption, such as vaporizers.”
...vaporizers, how it all began for Namaste. (Plus phyto et al)
“Others aim to develop tools to make transportation and quality control more efficient...”
...Pineapple Express and Cannmart processing/tracking w/ LPs.
“...while some even stray into agtech and retailtech with quick-growth technologies and online marketplaces.”
...Findify and the very Cannmart concept itself.
Show me anyone else so well positioned to corner key areas of the market?
John MacArthur > John Piper (but I feel you buddy!!)
Agree to a degree, but there’s certainly an element of a gamble involved...not just on N, but with investing in this sector (and beyond) in general.
Calculating risk is all well and good (part of any due diligence), but with all of the unknowns involved it’s definitely still somewhat of a gamble. Albeit a smart one, as far as I’m concerned.
Just my 0.02
Always appreciate the commentary, gwillow.
Is that $1.50 a US projection or CDN?
I’ve ordered from the OCS twice, and twice they were my same day courier.
Agreed. Onward and upward, but with all the potential growth catalysts that should be coming together in the months ahead, $1.00 by end of year would be disappointing in my book.
Nadler is right, the Senate moves at its own pace.
BUT Senator Gardner already threatened once before to hold up judicial appointments unless the Senate moves.
It’ll come. The longer it takes, the more time for us to establish a foothold that US companies with similar plans will find harder to disrupt.
I think you called an end to the hemorrhaging yesterday...sector looking green thus far.
If Congress passes a law that changes mj’s classification, the FDA’s policies change accordingly.
There is Senate support for a bill that gives states greater control, introduces banking allowances, and would open the door to more cannabis commerce—sponsored by Senators Elizabeth Warren (D) and Cory Gardner (R).
US market opportunities are coming, and I’m sure (hoping) we’ll be ready to jump in once they do.
Huge! I guess silence is golden when you’re quietly working behind the scenes on developments like this.
Onward and upward!
I’m a committed, small government conservative.
Despite that, I’m hoping for a Liberal win (notwithstanding the fact that I can’t stand Trudeau.)
Good for the industry, good for our pockets.
Lol of course they vote separately as legislators, come on. I mean they don’t vote on separate measures contained in the bill. It’s all or nothing.
And of course that’s slick. I’m not referring to transparency or awareness. This is a classic manoeuvre...it forces them to vote in favour of ALL measures whether they’re in favor or not. If they fail to, the government won’t be funded.
It’s not a matter of you agreeing or not. I work for these people...I know precisely how this is done.
What do you mean “don’t hold your breath”? Adding what’s called a “rider” to an appropriations bill virtually guarantees passage.
It’s a slick way to pass a measure that legislators don’t want to have to vote on separately...this, vs what they call a “clean bill” which only deals with specific measure at hand.
Not lame. Spot on.
Russian collusion?
Prohibition of marijuana?
PM Trudeau resigns and Trump becomes de facto president of Canada?
Gio’s crystal ball is about as clear as a cue ball...
I agree, GW...let’s let the numbers speak. Good luck to all those patiently waiting!
Quite frankly, I hope buyout talk is behind us. The potential is far too great (and these prices far too low) for investors to realize maximum value.
Buyout (even with a crazy premium) wouldn’t get us to our 52 wk high in my opinion.
Execution on their end, and patience on ours, is what’s needed.
Don’t waste your breath, meima.
The only way to rid the board of these types is for Namaste to turn the corner.
That day is coming...and when it comes, he’ll disappear like a fart in the wind.
Where’s the confusion? He can’t give orders, nor is he dictating the company’s direction. Employees know precisely who to follow.
Sean’s “role” more fits your label of “stooge” than the interim CEO’s.
As another poster indicated, he’s pretty much boxed in as far as decision-making goes.

Hope like hell you’re right Scout. I’m personally hoping for scenario 2. If the business plan/model was solid before Sean got turfed, I believe it’s twice as sound with the right leaders at the helm.
A premature sale would cut the potential of this thing waaay short imo.
Pleased with this morning’s developments.
What does a buyout mean for warrant-holders if sale price is less than the exercise price of $3.15?
Best of luck to everyone.
