Because the same people trade this stock back and forth. You will be one of the sells tomorrow. Less than $60,000 exchanged hands between the same players.
They had excellent flavors with their old HighDrate lineup. This management is clueless as evident by getting rid of great products. The new lineup should be in addition to what they carried before.
You're right not to put in a bid. Only the manipulators are making money at this point. There are very few shareholders in this company and the very few have the majority of shares. When (if ever?) this company becomes legitimate, this stock could fly to ridiculous heights.
And half the volume is price manipulation. Until the shenanigans stop, this stock isn't going anywhere but down.
There are less than 100 shareholders trading this stock. Think about it. All those outstanding shares and there are less than 100. People are simply giving their money back and forth, or more likely the more giving to the few. The very few make money and they follow this board. I bet I number of usernames in the KGKG chat room are their second or third names playing the others.
This is the most bizarre company with its lack of success. They have one of the best products in their industry and yet fail over and over. The potential is insane and we can only hope that someone in the "new" management or potential future management sees the opportunity for running the company legitimately.
The company was making the best energy drinks and energy flavored waters (HighDrates) in the market. The potential is outstanding under the proper management and guidance. How they beat this into the ground is a tragedy.
ALKM is a terrible stock to own, but a legitimate company. They make great products. Their model with dilution is a nightmare to shareholders. It's too bad their management doesn't run things differently. I am hopeful KGKG's new management is more productive and not a pump and dump. They have great products and with vision, they could one day be like Red Bull and Monster. I did not like their move away from HighDrates original formula. Adding THC is going to limit their market.
Then who has been producing for them?
What is scary to me is that there seemed to be some sort of correlation with USMJ, PURA and ALKM in the past. None of them seem to be trading any more. I always thought USMJ and PURA were scams.
I thought ALKM produced for KGKG? Anyone have some insight? Is Kona having problems with production? It couldn't be too hard to duplicate ALKM, could it?
It was always HighDrate. I never seen HyDrate. Whatcha talking about Lewis.
There are less than 200 shareholders trading this back and forth. It ain't going nowhere until more people get an interest in it.
They need exposure. They need marketing (THC market will only take it so far as a publicly traded company). They had the best energy drinks and the best energy water in the market and they failed because they lacked the right people running things. Going the Spicoli route isn't going to take this mainstream. Such a shame!
The Oh La Lemin was not a favorite of mine, but it did seem to open doors to Wal Mart and other mainstream retailers. They seemed to have a problem going "big" with that product and couldn't deliver.
Gold Leaf wasn't going to create too much value for shareholders. They were small time and were going to stay that way. It was a mom and pop operation.
Seems like Jeff Spicoli is now running the company. They're probably going to market heavily to the surfer market. I picture management sitting around eating pizza while they make decisions. Rock on....
Not sure why the HighDrate CBD Energy Waters needed to be replaced. They were my favorite products. They should have simply added the D9 Seltzer Drink line as an additional offering. I know the majority of people who I offered the Energy Waters to will not drink anything with THC in it.
The D9 Seltzer Drink line won't ever go mainstream.
What do you mean "Now all we need is a product"? They have arguably the best products in its industry. The energy drinks are stellar, and the HighDrates are fantastic.
There are quite a few shareholders that are still supporting this company simple because they believe in the product. The potential of this company is amazing if management does things right. I think the rebrand is key in its growth. They weren't going anywhere with the "leaf" on the can.
The lemonade drink was nothing special. The Kona Gold drinks, the HighDrates and even Storm are exceptional.
People who spout about things they might not know are idiots.
Have you tried what's inside the bottle?
The market was closed?
Not alone.
This is too good of a product to fail.
In the right hands this product will be everywhere.
The first time I tried Red Bull was in a bar. This is where they should grow their exposure.
The rebrand is exactly what was needed! It doesn't need the pot connection with the leaf and all.
I have had at least 100 people try their energy drinks and everyone likes/loves them. Some said they would switch from Monster or Red Bull in a heartbeat. My favorites are the HighDrates. They are excellent and I stock up on the holiday deals to save on shipping. The alkaline water STORM is also fantastic, but I am fine with regular water and not sure of the market there.
IMO, the rebrand is exactly what they Company needed. I would have preferred that they kept the Oh La Lemin brand since they made headway with Walmart there. New management may have done better with that product.
Ooops. My bad. Zero's make a BIG difference in micro penny land.
Wish we knew the story on the sale of the lemonade. Having an IN with Walmart with new management here would have been sweet. With the rebrand coming, this company is about to pop in any case. The products are simply that good. It's on management.
For some of the old timers, one crazy ass run for just a day would be a Godsend.
It's happened before with other stocks. This one hit .075 last February.
Need to be careful with this stock. When this stock was hitting its low point, there were no more than 100 shareholders. It is going to be a while before its open to more investors. For now, there are just speculators and flippers.
I read the Form 15 in more detail and see that there were approximately 100 shareholders at the time of filing. That number must be substantially down after today. It is crazy how many directions they can go after this week. I don't think this company will cease to exist. However, it could have been so much more. They put a terrible team together to attain the success we all hoped for.
You know what I found out that is shocking to me. To file a Form 15, you have to have less than 300 shareholders.
I had no idea that there were so little number of investors in this stock. Seems like most of the investors were on this board. Aren't we idiots....
This will never make sense to me. Best damn products in its class. The sky was the limit.
And boom. I saw on Facebook that KGKG filed a Form 15 with the SEC. This means the following:
- Form 15 informs the SEC that a company no longer wants to trade publicly, and therefore won't follow the usual government reporting requirements.
- The form is most often used by small companies with few shareholders who find the SEC reporting regulations burdensome.
- It is sometimes used by companies in deep trouble that face imminent de-listing anyway.
Say goodnight Gracie.
He needs to retire KGKG shares!
Oh La Lemin will save us on its own. The Kona and HighDrate sales will kick in eventually with the avenues opened up because of the Oh La Lemin exposure. Don't be surprised if KGKG comes up with more drinks without the hemp and CBD ingredients.
This stock price. Somebody shoot me.
If we here in this group are checking on the Walmart "rollouts" and other news, and find that the products are not on the shelves, then we should collectively pursue a class action suit against KGKG. There is usually company level protection, but in this case, with management being a small group and all news coming from one person then we probably have a case.
However, I still have faith on a major turnaround.
I was thinking the same thing. You can't compare lemonade or sparkling waters to the Kona drinks or HighDrates, both of which are best in their class. Praying the new packaging will help.
The Ooh La Lemins are obviously good enough to get into Walmart. Hoping that exposure gets us a path to get the energy drinks into Walmart.
Well I have been drinking the lemonades, HighDrates, and Konas. They are great products. Management has been far from good with communication. But the company started a relatively short while ago. They have stumbled, but the future is brighter than you believe. Growth will be exponential if they don't blow it.
Everything management has ever disclosed has come through even if it took some time to happen. Good things ahead!
Walmart is great for the exposure, but they are notorious for keeping margins low with suppliers. The products need to sell in large volume to make serious money.
Can't access the article without being a subscriber. Which company are they talking about?
NEVER MIND. I see someone answered this in later post.
Good products matter. Ooh La, Kona and HighDrates are at the top in taste and quality. Hemp was never going to be the driver to mass success.
It's going to take the right team with marketing to get this to where we all want. It will take time. The issue is whether the key players/mangement will continue to grow this company or accept short-term personal wealth and bail.
Ironically, our main driver right now as a lemonade company compares to Monster way back when it was a juice company. A juice company purchased Monster, an energy drink company, and realizing what it had, turned its main operations into an energy drink company and rebranded itself. It took a while and then having Coca Cola become an owner of a large share batch of shares turned the company into the monster it is today.
So.... today our energy drink company purchased a lemonade company and here we all sit praying for Ooh La La returns.
People are just afraid that KGKG will go the route of the old CBD coffee company they divested, or like ALKM where the company is completely viable, but the company dilutes the market with a continuous stream of new stock offerings.
