At it's lowest point today there were 2 buys totalling 550,000 shares. That would have cost about $3.5m. What is happening here? Why were those 2 trades made at exactly that point? The hand of Maradonna? I tend to be very cynical --- Waiting long for $10 ---- then $12 --$15. Unshaken by all these little tricks!
When are the next quarterly results due? This is no 10 in the best earning shares of 2008 by Fool.com I am just about to invest and would appreciate any xtra info or ideas you have.
Also the video you directed me to is amazing and very disturbing. I can scarcely believe it's all true and documented. What is hapening over there? Sent it to my sisters and all my friends in US. Get in Touch.

Thank you Mr. Cramer! Just bought another 400 @ $7.20.
Once again today most of the buys are for 50,000 or 100,000 plus.
That means the marketmakers are filling a large order for several million at a set price.
Ride the voatility: Enjoy the profits next week.
Great idea but don't hold your breath:
Here's an address will help you:
http://www.sec.gov/complaint.shtml
They gathered up 1 lot of 600,000 shares and 6 lots of over 200,000 shares. That equals 1.8 million shares bought by a maximum of 7 individuals or maybe by one or worse still by marketmakers -- and all in the space of 20 minutes. Pure manipulation of course!
The good news is that it indicates a substantial upward move is now imminent: The bad news is that many smaller holders with Stop Losses in place have been annihilated. It's a tough game!
A Busy Year Ahead For GTE:
Mid June - spud of the Proa -1 well, in the Surbai block is being drilled as close as possible to their existing Palmar Largo field with 37 million bo existing production
June - Costayaco -4 test results
June late - updated reserves report, also look for some guidance on the reserve estimates in the Villeta T.
June mid - Popa -2 drilling complete, expect press on the preliminary finding.
July - GTE will publish a 2009 drilling program, it should be impressive and include some big targets just North of costayaco. next fields for exploratory drilling are what some call Norte Costayaco, Pacayaco Moqueta, Juanambu, Veredyaco -
July - Completion of the phase 1 pipeline from the Costayco wells to Uchupayco the new pipeline will replace trucking operations and allow production flows increase from the first three Cotayaco wells. Gran Tiera expects production could rise to 9000 bopd (4500 net to GTE) in the second half of 2008.
July - spud of Costayco -5 well, followed by logging
July – Palmera-1 drilling complete flowed by logging and flow testing
August - Expect some updated flow results on each of the six oil formations obtained from the long term production test of Costyaco 2 and 3. Note all of the formations have been flowed tested in each well. All the production tests of C-2&3 and coring of C-4 leads to the planning of the phase 2 pipeline, if Gran Tierra releases press increasing the capacity of the pipeline, above the noted preliminary size of 25,000 bopd.
August - airborne gravity and magnetic data is complete on Peru Blocks 122 and 128 which will be used to define exploration leads over which 2-D seismic data will be acquired. GTE may release some information on exploration targets. There are billion barrels oil targets in the Iquitos Arch area of Peru. The oil is heavy and Gran Tierra would benefit from a "cash rich" pocket partner.
Gran Tierra typically establishes joint venture partnerships, so watch for news of corporate developments on the Peru block. Remember near the Iquitos Arch (block 122 and 128) , a competitor has production plans for two oil fields, each for 100,000 bopd in production. To put a 100,000 bopd oil field into perspective, there are not that many oil fields in the world that produce more than 100,000 bopd, (approximately 120 fields do), most of them are located in the Middle East, or deep off-shore. Peru provides significant long-term future growth with some “giant” heavy oil targets. There are billion barrels oil targets in the Iquitos Arch area of Peru. The oil is heavy and Gran Tierra needs a deep pocket partner.
Reliance Industries a large oil and gas company from India has been shopping for oil blocks in Peru and recently farmed into 90% of block 141 with Pan Andean Resources and into 40% of block 108 from Perupetro. Both blocks are in the southern "dry gas basin"
Any positive Joint venture or corporate developments on Gran Tierra's Peru blocks would be very positive. Reliance Industries is also shopping for blocks in Peru’s oil belt, and a major company like Reliance Industries often contacts small cap companies first to barter. Most of Peru' oil blocks around 122 and 128 are controlled by majors.
Yes and 10 very large trades today. Two of them over 150,000 shares each {$1.2 million each}. It's obvious to me that these were not bought by individuals but by Institutions. The only questions are:
What institutions are coming in?
How many of them?
When will it be officially announced?
Present momentum should push it to the $1B Cap {$11 + per share} within 2 weeks and new momentum will then assert as different institutions take an interest. Happy Days!
Here are those details I mentioned regarding how institutions came into BPZ. Read it from bottom to top -- starting from 3rd. quarter of 2006 when only 3 were involved. This is about to happen to GTE with similar impact on share price.{ BPZ went from $4 to $28 and a Cap of $300 million to $2.1 billion}
BPZ RESOURCES, INC. AMEX:BZP
<Historical Institutional Holding Changes>
Qt. Holders
2008Q1 82 Holding 32% of Company today.
2007Q4 69
2007Q3 46
2007Q2 49
2007Q1 22
2006Q4 5
2006Q3 3
In March 2008 GTE had only 2 institutions interested.
BZP was in a similar position one year ago and then in a 3 month period over 40 came in. I believe we will hear in the next few days that several institutions have now taken a position in GTE. This will then be an incentive for others to buy and Market Cap should quickly rise to around $1 Billion.i.e. Share price of $11 plus
BZP --- with less acreage and less daily output -- are now capitalised at $2.1 billion. This would equate to a $15 - $20 share price for GTE assuming full tally of shares (120 million??) are issued.
I am long here and intend waiting a few months not for that immediate June pop to $11 but for that longer term $20 target. However I am not an expert and these figures should be scrutinised before you further invest.
APRJ has an interest in two petroleum companies, Upstream Petroleum Corporation and PetroMed Inc.
According to APRJ’s web site, Upstream expects to add 500 million barrels of oil to its reserves, each of the next five years, and according to petromeds filings, PetroMed expects to become a $7 Billion market cap company, based on 2006 oil prices. Before you discount their expectations, it would be wise to check out the recent financing arrangements the government of Israel made with Citibank, for a $250 Million offshore pipeline (http://www.citigroup.com/citigroup/press/2004/041123d.htm) that, in large part, is to bring this company's product direct to the Israeli market.
Petromed is charting virgin territory, but none other then Donald Axford (http://www.canadianpetroleumhalloffame.ca/members/axford_don.shtml ) thought the region was too good to pass up. His belief has been backed up by intensive seismic data, independent seep and gravity-magnetic data studies, not to mention the fertility levels of neighboring properties.
Analytical work has been carried out in conjunction and assisted by Spectrum, UK, one of the world's largest and most respected data acquisition and processing companies.
Even if PetroMed only becomes a $500 Million market cap company, which it can do sleepwalking, it would be huge for APRJ, because, under the current share structure, that would add another estimated $5 per share to the Company's Book Value and there's no doubt that petroleum is a big time odds on favorite to make investors a ton of money, so energy companies trade well above Book Value. Think about the record profits they were racking up at $60 per barrel, then again at $80 and the windfall was even bigger at $100.
That was then. Now oil has just breached $120 per barrel and is heading down the homestretch to the $200 mark. The profits will be off the charts and it will be painful for those who do not take action, but we know it's coming and there's no reason not to be prepared. Please act now, while you can still add two outstanding petroleum companies for one amazingly low price. APRJ also owns an interest in these other exciting companies
IPower taking On-Demand Secure Content Management to the next Level
The most recent addition to APRJ's stable is another company that is worthy of being a stand alone entity. It's a software firm that identified a weak link in the space that is intersected by three distinct, and powerful, sectors. If you've taken a look at the money and traffic generated by the software industry, video gaming industry and the Internet, specifically social networking websites, you're going to love IPower's ON-DEMAND Secure Content Management software. Technology that Caregivers and Insurers can Agree on
After years of development, Myogauge International Plc has solved a sports medical professionals' and health caregivers' dilemma. Practitioners in these fields have had the need for an objective, 100% reproducible, dual function range of motion and isometric muscle testing system, so the market is both virgin and pent up. Yet, as big as the market may be, the biggest demand may come from elsewhere.
The biggest boom may actually be realized due to an alternative use. The Myogauge Pain Validity Test can determine if a claimant’s injury is valid, which has obvious implications in the world of personal injury claims and workman's compensation benefits. Approval or denial of benefits is not an exact science, but Myogauge levels the field and it should become an impact technology in the fight against fraudulent claims, which costs us more then $100 Billion a year. We will be updating the page with a full report on this venture also.
Mining and Dining
Although the last 2 companies under the APRJ umbrella are not related, I like the sound of mining and dining, because metals, agriculture and energy, form commodities' three pillars.
SovrenQuest, LLC is a Utah based group which has large quantities of highly concentrated ores immediately ready for the final refining process. Assays on these ores have revealed high ratios of several types of precious metals, including strategic type metals.
Plus, as if on cue, we're in the middle of a worldwide food famine and Harvest Quest, with its proprietary biological catalyst product, is biotechnology/environmental solutions firm perfectly positioned to ease the crises.
It's already profitable, thanks to its soil remediation and pollution prevention processes are targeted at major markets within the Biotechnology, Waste Management and Agricultural Industries. It even has renewable energy solutions.
A $Multi-million company for less than a $1 a share!
It’s clear to me that APRJ management carefully performed a wide spectrum market analysis and its precision interpretation of the datum has positioned the company with a perfect blend of technology and commodities.
Commodities are in about the 5th year of their massive Bull Run. While some investors have been tricked into thinking that commodities have peaked, history tells us that the current cycle is just in its first phase. Typically, Commodity Bull Runs last between 15 and 23 years.
APRJ is an incredible opportunity, just based on its growth outlook, but because it is available at a huge discount to book value I am expediting this report. The companies it holds an interest in operate in technologies and commodities.
Did you miss out on the the Big Bull Run? APRJ is well positioned in the cornerstone commodities to help you make up for that lost time/opportunity. They are even ready for the upcoming agricultural bull run.
It's actually quite simple. Other then the items in the core inflation index, real inflation is well over 10%, so it's imperative that your portfolio out paces real inflation and APRJ is ideally positioned to do just that.
APRJ shares could jump from .40 to $2.00 within days
They could hit $5.00 by year’s end and then climb to $10 or even $25 over the next few years. Remember, they have interests in 2 petroleum companies, who’s valuations could change overnight, all it takes is for either of them to hit it big and the stock should Soar
Management has made all the right moves and if they continue to carry out their game plan, it's hard to imagine where this stock ends up.
Because APRJ is already a can't miss type of opportunity, you're probably thinking there can't possibly be more, but there is. When a company has a small number of outstanding shares, like APRJ, they usually move straight up with the increased exposure to the investing public and then again from positive results. I think we're about to see the first movement and other movements later this year.
Thanks!
