No doubt, this is great news. Yes, the plant will be built. More importantly, it seems things are going well with the extraction process as well. Go ABTC!
Good to see continued positive news coming out of Fernley.
Patience.
Doc,
Pennies and more are on the way!
Probably right.....
Not giving up at all. Patiently waiting, watching the desperate naked shorters manipulate.
Thanks Georgio!
News on expanded business with China Mobile.

This evening, the Fernley,NV Planning Commission voted unanimously to forward a recommendation for approval of the CUP for the pilot plant to the city council.
They issued an 8K about this last month, raised $15 million. Old news.
It's an important preliminary step. I wouldn't expect too much from the market until the city council gives the final approval. Patience.
Come on Martin Shen, give us some news!
How do you expect a PRE REVENUE company to raise funds to operate? They paid off all convertible debt and have ZERO outstanding debt.
They could have diluted to the limit of the S3 filing and didn't. Have you noticed that each time they've raised funds it's been at better terms?
Has anyone been reading about the shortage of building supplies and the increasing cost thereof?
There will be news of permits very soon, and moving dirt before you think they will.
Give these guys a break, they are doing everything they possible can to move forward.
I'm in the money, the squeeze hasn't started yet.
I didn't get into this because I thought it was Apple, I got in it for the squeeze potential.
Typical board troll. Knew it all along.
Still here.
The lower the shorts push it, the higher it will go, patience. These are desperation moves. They are screwed.
Agree with we're going to find out soon enough.

Dear Friends of ABTC,
Thank you for your continued support as we finish a very busy month. I am pleased to share with you our monthly update and news recap. In addition to the below, we released an updated Investor Deck in early March, which can be found on our website.
American Battery Technology Company (ABTC) finished the detailed design of its integrated lithium-ion battery recycling processing train over a year ago. Since then we have been focusing on scaling and commercializing our recycling process through development of a pilot plant in Fernley, Nevada. Through work at the Greentown Labs facility, our technology team that includes Chief Technology Officer Ryan Melsert, Principal Chemical Engineer August Meng, and Senior Chemist Axel Drefahl has been generating sample material (battery grade metals that will be produced at our pilot plant) to deliver to cathode manufacturers to move through their internal supplier qualification processes. We have also continued progress over the past month, as outlined below, in developing our lithium-ion battery recycling pilot plant.
Water Rights Closings: ABTC closed on the acquisition of 55 acre-feet/year of water purchased from three separate sellers. We anticipate closing an additional 61.635 acre-feet/year by the end of this month with 5.175 acre-feet/year more closing next month. These water rights occur in the Fernley Area of Nevada Hydrographic Basin 76, and ensure our lithium-ion battery recycling pilot plant will have adequate water to operate at full capacity.
Geotechnical Investigations: Final geotechnical investigations on the Fernley pilot plant site took place last Thursday and Friday. Three infiltration tests were performed. Data gathered from these tests will inform our pilot plant foundation design. An excavator was on site to excavate test pits and also a water truck to supply water for the testing. Completion of the final geotechnical investigation enables the Miles Construction team to finish grading plans and submit grading permit applications to the City of Fernley. It is expected that grading permit applications will be submitted in April and that grading operations will commence in May.
Request for Confidentiality to Protect Company IP in Permitting Process: On February 25, 2021 the Nevada Division of Environmental Protection approved ABTC's "Request for Confidentiality for New Class II Air Quality Operating Permit". This agreement ensures that our highly proprietary integrated lithium-ion battery recycling processing train intellectual property will remain confidential throughout the environmental permitting process for our pilot plant. We are currently working towards the submittal of a Class II Air Quality Operating Permit Application under these approved confidentiality guidelines.
Conditional Use Permit Application: The City of Fernley ("City") is currently reviewing ABTC's Conditional Use Permit (CUP) application for our lithium-ion battery recycling pilot plant. The ABTC and Miles Construction teams continue to engage with City staff, and the pilot plant CUP application is tentatively scheduled for discussion at the Fernley Planning Commission meeting in mid-May.
New Development Center at Nevada Center for Applied Research at the University of Nevada Reno: ABTC had planned to solely focus on scaling up its recycling operations in the coming year, however when it was selected for a grant from the US DoE Advanced Manufacturing Office in late January, 2021 for primary lithium extraction and cathode specification hydroxide manufacturing from sedimentary resources technologies, we had to pivot and bring on new resources. We are now accelerating our primary lithium extraction development efforts in line with this government grant program and with our corporate partners. Our team has secured new laboratory and development space at the University of Nevada Reno Applied Research Facility to build out these larger prototype systems throughout the rest of this year until we are ready to build our multi-ton per day field units next year to further support this grant program.
Carlos Cardillo, Director of Nevada Center for Applied Research (NCAR) at University of Nevada Reno welcomed ABTC to the Applied Research Facility, "American Battery Technology Company is a new NCAR affiliated corporation, a domestic manufacturing of low-environmental impact and low-cost lithium-ion battery metal feedstocks. It is encouraging to have a global leader with innovative, sustainable technologies on campus!"
ABTC looks forward to continuing our work to become an industry leader in the production of battery metals that will fuel the new energy revolution and to put in place a circular economy for critical materials in the United States and beyond. Thank you to our home State of Nevada for its continued support of our work.

American Battery Metals Corporation, soon to be renamed “American Battery Technology Company”, is uniquely positioned to supply battery metals through its three divisions: lithium-ion battery recycling, extraction technology, and primary resources. The Company recently announced the groundbreaking of its lithium-ion battery recycling facility in Fernley, NV, and issued a recent shareholder letter outlining achievements of the past year.
American Battery Technology Company has built a clean technology platform that increases production of primary metals used in the batteries that power electric cars, grid storage applications, consumer electronics and tools. The green platform creates a circular economy for battery metals that champions ethical and environmentally sustainable sourcing of critical materials.

It's waaay more expensive to short today.
This is a great explanation of naked shorting and how it is hidden.
Best 9 minutes on the subject.
Keep watching. you probably didn't see any in GME either.
Thanks Shadowdoc.
You are looking at legal shorting, the issue is naked shorting.
It's an indication of how desperate the shorts are to keep it down. The cost to short is skyrocketing as the DTC has officially notified the brokers of the dividend today. The brokers are slowly waking up the the liability out there.
I use the same DD as Interloper and others.
Nobody knows where the top is in these situations. Personally, I think this has GME type potential, but who knows? Have an idea of what you'd like to make on this and set a series of laddered higher good til cancelled sell orders.
For example if you hold 1000 @ $1, sell 100 at 3, 100 at 5, 100 @7, etc. until you recoup your cost, then set the rest for where you think it goes.
Everyone has their own risk tolerance. It's gonna be interesting, good luck!
My position is full and I am holding through at least next week. I think the action today and tomorrow is irrelevant. The real story starts after the record date.
I fully understand that the volatility is hard to accept, nobody likes to see gains erased or losses build. Time is our friend here.
Buckle up and hold on.
The declaration of the dividend is a tactic to identify the counterfeit shares and protect real shareholders from the naked shorts. It forces a true accounting of shares and a reconciliation of authorized shares and shares held by brokers and at the DTC.
In simplest terms it's like musical chairs. The music stops at COB 1 April 2021. They have to go through this process to award the dividend to shareholders of record. Naked shorted counterfeit shares will be called, they will be Id'd as Failure To Deliver, FTD. If they can't cover the position (they won't), the prime brokers have to go to the markets to cover the shares, then the squeeze.
The value of the warrant is the mechanism to force the shorts hand. The value 0f $2.75, for this purpose, is irrelevant. It may pay off when the squeeze starts.
Don't be focused on the strike price of the warrant, rather focus on the purpose of the warrant!
Good luck to all longs.
Graduated in 85. First D's arrived while I was in Germany, They were for Arty.
OH 58 A/C
Everyone just be patient. Shorts will be exposed NLT close of market on April 1st. May take an additional day or so for the full divvy accounting to take place. Then the short position is called.
Short is fighting for his life selling fake shares, has nothing to lose as he is going down anyway with the divvy. Desperate move. hang in here and profit from the run as the days go on.
I know it's not fun to see red, but hang in.
China clamping down big time on Alibaba. The app was removed from the apple store in China. Ant has been hammered on the fintech side. Alibaba being forced to divest of media holdings.
Who stands to gain from all this? FNGR.
Check out Shen's latest video update for March on Youtube.
Remember, there is no need for ABTC to aggressively go into the shelf offering for a huge amount of financing. They only need $10 million to build the pilot plant. As soon as it is commissioned, they say it will be cash flow positive.
As soon as they are producing revenue, that opens up the SBA avenue for low cost financing. I believe there will be consistent good news released over the coming weeks and months. Hopefully there is more news of further grant money to minimize the need to dilute or take on debt.
Standing by for future happy PRs and increasing share price over time, patience.
S-3 filing approved.
Old news.
Look,
It is early in the game for ABTC. I believe in them, their technology, the team and their plan. Anyone investing here has to expect significant volatility. I think it will continue until quantifiable events happen. I'm in since .035 so I don't care what happens in the near term.
Soon the S3 filing will be approved and I believe significant announcements will follow. Not all at once, but over the following weeks. Doug just said on the TD Ameritrade video they will be generating revs by the end of the year.
Good luck to all longs.
LCJR,
Days like today are frustrating for longs. These grants are an annual grant for BOD members. No surprise. Nobody cared at .04.
Lets not forget they are pre revenue with an incredible valuation. They are an obvious target for an attack. Doug has publicly gotten ahead of himself on a few topics and the continuous pump without moving dirt doesn't help.
I am long. Doug said before that they should conservatively be producing black mass by Oct. That's a big difference from 4th Q 2020 as originally stated a year ago. Menka said recently they could be moving dirt in late April or May.
I believe in their team, but every implied deadline missed, from initial funding, to permitting and construction delays (regardless of the cause) hurt their market credibility.
Menka also said that the social media blitz is to gain brand recognition so they will be recognized when they start recycling.
It is what it is. No fun watching millions in valuation evaporate. It's way more fun on the run up.
We're along for the ride, and a hell of a ride it is.
There is a pro active video out rebutting the falsehoods and a statement from the Company.
Good luck to all longs!
