I don't see any of the financial markets down 5%.
Firing on all cylinders and still getting beat down. Hopefully we have a breakthrough soon.
Well, it's use is not limited to humans. Animals benefit as well.
This should have never went under 20. I'm glad to see a little traction for this well deserved product.
It's hard to believe the news has been so good and yet we languish near the bottom on stock performance. Hopefully this changes soon.
I sure miss Jugs. I'd be curious to see what his holdings would be right now if he was still with us. RIP Jugs.
Yep, no doubt! BTW, what ever happened to TDECK who was hyping this stock and mentioned that juvenile approval would rocket this? No fuel? Bad information? Following that dude is a ticket to bankruptcy! I'd love to see what he thinks of VYNE now. LMAO!
I certainly appreciate this viewpoint. I need to learn to read Biotech stocks better. I'm not sure it's possible with all the manipulation. This is an amazing product but I guess reality has set in and reveals we were running on euphoria a couple years ago.
Avita has had some great news lately and yet the stock price has performed terribly. It's very disheartening. To me, it seems the redomicile to the US has brought in much manipulation.
Likewise. I thought this was a substantial accomplishment for Avita.
The long awaited/anticipated pediatric approval??? OMG!
Good stuff! Thanks.
Has anyone else noticed how news about this product has nearly ground to a halt since Avita redomiciled to the US? Other than the article about how RECELL was used on the dog, I've rarely heard anything else in the past 9 months. It's not that the stories aren't out there. Locally, there was an industrial fire which severely burned an employee. This injured man was sent to Wake Forest Burn Center in North Carolina...which I believe is a major user of the RECELL system. It seems this would have been a great opportunity for some positive news...but all I hear is crickets. I'm starting to think company officers no longer have interest in communicating the success of this great product.
$21.50? Really? Whatever it takes to kick us loyal investors when we're down, this company will pursue. I would say it's unbelievable but with their idiotic activity of the past 9 months it's pretty much expected. I don't normally "play" a stock but I'm certainly glad I did some selling in 2019 to offset losses I've experienced with RCEL in 2020/2021. With such an amazing product it's hard to believe they screw things up so badly.
RIP Jugs. I started following Jugs when I invested in Alon USA partners (ALDW) in 2016 and found the message board here on InvestorsHub. ALDW was one great financial adventure! We had been planning a gathering in Texas to celebrate our investment success but sadly that talk ended when Delek (DK) bought/stole ALDW from us for a ridiculously low price in late 2017. Many of us moved on to NGL Energy Partners and again were planning a gathering in Texas pending the achievement of anticipated financial success...but...it never happened and NGL is now a disaster. I followed Jugs to RCEL and others as well. I've had good investments and bad investments during this time but I owe a great bit of any financial success in the past few years to his sage advice. I always thought he invested like a person half his age. He spoke many times about his past health issues and how he had miraculously bounced back. He seemed to have an attitude that he was living on borrowed time and making the very best of it. I certainly regret that I didn't get to meet him in person.
Done! I've been following you for a good while and have been slowly bleeding this off per some advice I saw from you once. This is a great strategy! Thanks for your posts...here and other places.
Just a hypothetical situation...After we get through this COVID-19 bubble, I've seen some comments and articles which mention it's entirely possible that our president could impose an oil embargo against OPEC countries to boost shale oil production in our country. It appears to me this action would be highly valuable to NGL and many others that have been beaten down terribly with the feud between Saudi Arabia and Russia. Does anyone else think this is a possibility? I value the opinions of the vast experience of the posters here. Thanks.
I had to hold my nose as I unwound most of the last of my NGL position this morning at a pretty hefty loss. It's hard to believe at one point last year I held 72K NGL units. Now it's just over 1K units. All along I had been using the distribution and proceeds from NGL to buy Avita (RCEL) shares. I didn't realize it at the time...but that was a lucky move (many thanks to this board). I bought more RCEL this morning at 6.81 and have a little powder left to buy more...just waiting to see how the price settles out.
tdeck, your posts are always reassuring. I've got a lot of ground to make up on this one but it's crazy how much it gets beaten down. Price/Book value of .11 is just absurdly low. Looking forward to better days!
Can you believe I'd actually be in favor of this tax? I'm not a day trader but since the commission free trading strategy has come into play I have a hard time trading anything. Frequently, I can place a buy order higher than the trading price and only get a partial fill. If I place a AON trade it just won't fill. I have the same problem on the sell side. In my opinion commission free trades have given more control to the machines.
I believe zero commissions are causing this buying and selling mess. All of my gas and oil stocks are getting played like this.
Great to hear and looking forward to the next earnings report...which should include profit from inventories paid for by previous earnings proceeds!
Waiting for that 40+ by April! LOL!
I didn't see where earnings release date had been postponed... unless I missed something.
Indeed! Still some ground to make up for my recovery but this is a very nice move.
A real head scratcher. I didn't think I'd ever see this below 4 again.
Ah! Gotcha. Carry on. :)
Fine. Then you can choose not to ignore him. However, since he started posting garbage to this board I have noticed many legacy members who provide actual useful informative advice have fallen silent because they get insulted. That renders this forum to nothing more than a yahoo message board. Congratulations!
It's also possible to block him. That's what I did and it works great! I have no interest in hearing what he has to say.
I agree. I need more patience. I am accumulating MNLO and every time I put in a ridiculously low order it seems to get filled. Oh well, I'm hoping working both sides of this deal works out in the end. Good Luck To Us All on this investment.
Per merger plans if FOMX is trading at 3.255, MNLO would be valued at 5.49. MNLO trading barely above 4 shows (to me) lack of confidence in the success of their products. I have held FOMX for quite some time and recently started acquiring MNLO only to be disappointed by its rapid decline compared to FOMX.
Comparing performance with FOMX there appears to be little or no confidence in Menlo Therapeutics products.
Also to note is that James Colligsworth, a director, bought 50,000 common units last week.
I'm not sure if I'm reading the table correctly but from what I can see Mike Krimbill owns 1,193,672 units directly and 1,681,403 units indirectly in limited partnerships and LLC's.
Thanks for your input Jugs. I appreciate your investment knowledge.
I can't think of a better purchasing opportunity for my newly received NGL distribution. I'm a buyer of RCEL today.
Great performer! I regret that I sold most of my position at 4.45.
No doubt the poor earnings have been more than priced into the recent fall of the unit price.
Unfortunately, the more this company tries to re-invent itself, the more it tends to fall on its face. I've held the faith for a few years but better (or at least improving) results should have been realized by now. I understand there are difficulties beyond their control but where is this mysterious "Wall Of Water?" Maybe sometimes it's best to hold your cards close to your chest and not advertise what you "wish" you had.
I'm still here as well with 50K+ units since May 2017. This investment may not soar like others but it does provide a steady income.
