thanks missy.
you're an angel <g>
missy or drummer, do you have Le Deserteur
by Peter, Paul and Mary?
Surprisingly, the lyrics are very similar to 'I've got Dreams to Remember,' almost the same.
these are the 'dreams to remember' lyrics:
CHORUS:
I've got dreams
Dreams to remember
I've got dreams
Dreams to remember
Honey, I saw you there last night
With another man's arms holding you tight
Nobody knows what I feel inside
All I know I walked away and cried
CHORUS
BRIDGE:
I know you said he was just a friend
But I saw him kiss you again and again
These eyes of mine they don't fool me
Why did he hold you so tenderly?
CHORUS
I still want you to stay
I still love you anyway
I don't want you to ever leave
Girl, you just satisfy me
yeah - and does a chicken have lips???
thanks very much.
i love joe too.
:)
okay - i've got it.
its called 'feels like forever' by
joe cocker.
written by bryan adams and diane warren.
think you can get it?
:)
'fraid not.
these are the 'dreams to remember' lyrics:

hi.
no, that's what i came up with too,
but when you listen to that song, the
lyrics are different.

Saw you, that was all I had to see
Wanted you, had to have you next to me
From that moment, I knew that you'd be all that I'd ever need
And there's a place inside my heart, nobody's touched before
And when I found you, I found all that I've been searching for
You turned my world around
All I know, is it feels like forever
All I know, is I love the way it feels
All I see, is how good we are together
And I never want to see you slip away
I'll never let you go, it's all I know
Hold me, love is you've rushed to me
It's telling me, let's put our hearts in the hands of fate
Time will tell, if what we've got was worth the wait
And there's a fire, that's been burning deep inside of me
And I don't need nobody else
'Cause now you're here with me, you turned my world around
All I know, is it feels like forever
All I know, is I love the way it feels
All I see, is how good we are together
And I never want to see you slip away
I'll never let you go, it's all I know
I might of never met you, in another time and place
Now I never could forget you, I can never walk away
It's all I know
Cause there's a place inside my heart, nobody's ever touched before
And when I found you, I found love the love that I was searching for
You turned, my world around
All I know, is it feels like forever
All I know, is I love the way it feels
All I see, is how good we are together
And I never want to see you slip away
I'll never let you go, it's all I know
yes missy - that's the one.
muchos gracias.
sorry, duplicate
hi missy
a fitting song i think for the end of the
year is 'in my life'. i like the version
by sean connery - do you have it by chance?
-rose
that's the kind of song that
everyone thinks was written with
them in mind, eh?
hi missy -
sorry to have written so late -
i was just getting ready for bed.
too.
thanks for the song.
willie has managed to put into words
what a lot of us are feeling.
-rose
good evening missy ...
any chance you have "What Ever Happened to Peace On Earth"
by Willie Nelson?
happy all-hallows eve everyone.
i read a history of hallow'een in our
little weekly rag - it was picked up
word for word from this site:
http://www.history.com/minisites/halloween/viewPage?pageId=713
pretty interesting for a first time read.
i couldn't open that - and i'm glad.
it woulda brought me down.
we're off to get some cedar planks - we're
building a door for the workshop. that'll
be interesting seeing as how neither of us
has ever attempted that particular feat before.
later ....
-rose
ha! maybe.
you are truly amazing.
are there any songs you don't have?
thanks missy -
that reminded me somehow of the three bells
by the browns. now i'm really showing my
age.
hi drummerman ...
yeah, i'm okay now. i was a little
discombobulated there for a while <g>
must be listening to too much good
music, eh?
there was frost on the pumpkin this morning
but otherwise is a beautiful warm sunny
day. how is it by you?
-rose
g'morning missy -
yer right - its 8:36 here on the wet coast.
so, i didn't sleep in after all <s>
ahhhh missy ... i think it's tomorrow night.
missy-
i doubt very many will be coming out today.
it's football sunday and we're running a
pool at the place i usually hang out at:
http://www.siliconinvestor.com/subject.aspx?subjectid=36873
we call it the 'bar' - it stands for never, never
be mean <g> because if you say something nasty,
elpolvo our illustrious leader will throw you in
the whine cellar. not a lot of serious talk goes
on there - kinda reminds me of this place.
anyway, if any of you music lovers enjoy football
too and want to meet some nice people, com'on over.
its still not too late to make your picks. just
post them before game time which is 10:00 am pacific
time.
weekly losers send ten bucks to this great place
if that want to: http://www.caretohelp.org
winners get bragging rights.
have a happy day.
-rose
ohhhh - what a naughty way to start a beautiful
sunday morning :)
thanks for the tune.
-rose
thanks missy - i love how patti sings that.
phooey - you found us out :)
two songs i've been trying to find and haven't been
able to:
barbra striesand singing gauva jelly and
patti lupone singing don't cry for me argentina.
btw, you know if two of us have come out of the
closet, there's a least a hundred more lurking <g>
-rose
james -
fancy meeting you here :)
-moneypenny
thanks mrktman - i enjoyed that!
hi drummerman-
thanks for the welcome.
no, i didn't try beethovan yet - i am on dial
up, so..... but, not for long. apparently
come the end of november, additional cable service
will become available in my neck of the woods and
i'm on the list.
however, the shorter pieces are no problemo and
i'm enjoying.
mucho gracias :)
-rose
missy, have you got 'one safe place'
by marc cohn?
okay missy.
thanks.
oh, and one more thing.
this is a wonderful place to come and hide.
thanks for all you do.
hi missy-
i can hear your other tunes, but i can't hear
beethoven's sonata #21 :(
being smart is good but i suspect there
was a little bit of luck at work here as
well.
enjoy the pizza
rose
heaven on earth last night for the angels.
it was a great series and a great win
and seeing bonds scowl made it all the
sweeter. on the other hand i was very
happy for emmitt smith. now, there's a
class act.
rose
hi
how's by you tonight?
jim - can you receive pm's?
deleted
The key dilemma facing PM owners in the future will be to recognize the moment at which the perfect storm ends, economic stabilization returns, and the time arises to shift from PM's into the currency and financial instruments of choice.
... this is the difficult part - for me anyway.
great post jimmy.
