It still states that they intend to distribute the preferred dividend of preferred shares 1:10. I wonder if/when that will actually take place.
You'll have no problem finding sellers at least 😅
There must be many wanting to exit if the PPS starts to tick upwards.
Thanks for the updates/thoughts RD, much appreciated as always.
It's sad that the dates keep getting pushed. But of course health comes first.
It has to be Laxmi who goes to Hong Kong in person? Even if his condition is improved enough for travel, it might be better not to put on more stress by travelling. Might be better to send someone else, imo. Take some of his plate.
Let's see in about a week and a half. August 23rd. That is the latest goal for the payouts to be executed (from HK?). Maybe give it a few more days to show up in everyone's accounts. Let's say 2 weeks from now. Patiently waiting... 💰️
For me, the confusing parts are:
1. We can only sell our tokens to the company and only buy new ones from the company? No direct trades between buyer and seller at the "Fair Value"?
2. This "Fair Value", how is it handled?
- Will each token be backed by an increasing amount of gold?
- Will each token have a fixed amount of gold, and the "Fair Value" is achieved in cash payouts or multiplied amounts of tokens?
3. Will the token prices for all verticals also be pegged to a fixed value? If so, how is that calculated for:
- Food carts
- Whiskey (matured / fresh)
- Plane seats
- ...
4. If one uses the "Sell Back"-button, does the company have the cash on hand to buy the tokes immediately, or will the company have to facilitate a trade (a buyer matched to a seller) via the company as the middle man?
There's more, but I think those are the main ones. ^^
I thought you were going to stop wasting your time and energy here?
Your time and energy is better spent relaxing between the work sessions, instead of reading and replying here.
Reduce your blood pressure, don't increase it by listening to this noise.
It sure would be nice to disrupt the usual suspects in their strive to control everything.
Are you talking about the vertical cash grants, or are there also planned dividends for ITUP?
Might be important for LVerstee, being a "proxy" shareholder in ITUP (whatever that means), but not in the verticals.
I hope you'll receive a nice reply, not that it would matter much for the PPS, unless they announce a buy-out for $20+/share. Or a massive dividend, as they should.
Yes, it is a bit frustrating not being able to sell ITUP shares, if one would need the cash. Not sure if I remember correctly, but I think Laxmi has mentioned in the past that ITUP could buy back from individual investors and put in the treasury if requested. But I cannot find it here, cannot easily search ihub.
Anyway, we shouldn't need to consider the value of the ITUP shares. The money we're waiting on should have been cleared a long time ago, and cash grants should have been paid already. But we're still waiting, hopefully not for long. The cash grants, if paid quarterly as I think was promised back in the day, for me would cover the money I've put in after 4 cash grants. I assume the same holds true for most people here. I just hope we won't have to wait much longer.
That's quite interesting, and also nice in a way. It will not be possible to dump the prices below the asset value?
But there's no upper limit to the trading, right?
Well, that is one nice compensation package! You make roughly 6 times my yearly salary per month. 😅
Some questions regarding the stock options:
1. Is this a one time thing?
2. What is the strike price? Safe to assume $27?
3. Maturity / Expiration?
You'll be compensated with 0.25% even if the target is not achieved?
I do remember the regulars from SIAF/HERB/NUIN/ABPR/etc. But of course I don't know ROCKHard's personal financial situation, though I do know we all took a beating in one or more of those. Glad for ROCKHard, 10k tokens goes a long way at $27+. Not looking to debate it, just wanted to raise the questions as I do suspect others might come knocking.
This is a weird discussion. Someone who is NOT a shareholder, but lost money investing in ANOTHER company will be entitled to shares from the corporate social responsibility? That sounds iffy, and extremely unfair. What about everyone who has risked their money investing in this company, and continued to support and invest in CCAC/IREEM and the verticals (not to mention the numerous other things like the convertible, and direct investment in gold, rice etc...), despite the PPS of ITUP being non-existent? We're many who have lost a lot on SIAF who are on this board and have invested in this company. Are we also getting these sudden bonus shares? Showing up when something is materializing, though with absolute ZERO skin in the game, and demand a piece of the pie... jfc.
RD, you got a sweet deal, and I don't deny anyone to do as they like with their own property. It's a different thing when you open up the company's wallet. ROCKHard wants to paint losing money in SIAF as your fault, which is ridiculous (you already know this, and how many times have I read on the SIAF board where you tell people off, reminding them that if they had followed you actual advise, they would never have lost any money?). And, of course now there's a $27 valuation and that probably makes it a bit tricky, even though it's just tokens and I assume as such, could be transferred freely to any compatible wallet (I guess gift tax would be applicable though, which might be quite substantial).
Nice! Hope it will be finished promptly. Safe travels!
For the desk space pricing, 48,500 INR per month? About USD580? I'm not an expert, but it sounds a bit pricey?
That's a real nice ROI. Too bad we cannot bet on Bruce Willis anymore, at least not at the moment. We'll have to wait for the AI-version. He's one of my favorite actors. Sad to see him falling ill, the last movie I saw him in... he shouldn't have been acting at that point, felt like they just wanted to put his name on the poster one last time, to squeeze out some extra green.
I feel your pain, we all do. Calling it a disappointment is an understatement.
I just hope it will finally get done, before the end of April.
Of course, problems might always appear. But the kind of problems that can appear at this time should be very limited, since the money is literally in the bank.
I understand your position, there has been delay upon delay. Personally remaining bullish. The previous problems that you mentioned have been explained. Right now, the cash is actually there. The remaining step is setting up the bank details in Hong Kong, which needs to be done in person. This will be done within a week, as I understand it. Once that is done, finally wire the money to the shareholders. There shouldn't be any more room left for hitherto unknown problems.

Snow, I don't think that one is applicable anymore. Because of this issue, Laxmi decided to sell assets in India. The money from that asset sale is what is now being remitted to Hong Kong and USA.
Of course, that is perfectly fine. And kudos to Laxmi for doing that!
It is just difficult to see this from the outside, and a target window (e.g. quarters or half/full year goals) helps the investor keep their nerves. Personally, I'm not worried (having you hands-on inside the company helps a lot for my personal mental health related to this investment), but there seems to be some anxiety elsewhere. I'm confident this will be resolved soon. It seems so close now. The money is finally in accounts outside of India. Hopefully there's just the formalities in Hong Kong left.
It sucks that it keeps getting delayed. In the future, I hope Laxmi will set less firm target dates.
If he had said from the beginning, that he's aiming to pay a first cash grant during Q1, at the very latest early Q2. No one would be disappointed if the company already paid in mid January, or February, even March, or as now, the latest target, Early to mid May. I wonder if he does it just to put pressure on himself.
Good for you, RD! The compensation you'll receive is extraordinary. Going for 4.99% ownership? 😁
I'm happy with the amount I will get as well, but I will not have room for buying more HERB. Basically need to rebuild my portfolio since ITUP and the verticals have sucked up most of my net worth in the past few years. If I could go back in time, I'd buy a lot less ITUP, and put more into direct subscription in the verticals. If we only knew then, what we know now...
I might revisit increasing my stake in HERB if it's still at depressed levels at the end of the year. What I have now (125k+ shares) is still more than enough, if we ever would get fair value for our shares.
My memory is quite bad, but can't you use TradeStation? Not a fan of the interface, but at least it works and I think the minimum deposit is not that much. Not like the USD25,000 mentioned for Schwab. Opened an account a few years back to be able to buy ITUP and (some more) HERB.
Awesome! Thanks for the info!
Will not touch it then.
Really good news! Money is finally coming in. 💵 Though I'd like to hear it's in the company's US account before celebrating...
Then I guess one should make sure to add wire/account information at mycow now, for a CASH dividend payout on March 19th? I've already supplied the company with my bank account information a few months ago, but I assume it is still necessary to fill it out on mycow.
I sure did! Considering the potential, it would make sense to acquire a portion. But given that we've seen nothing concrete materialize, in terms of value, for...12+ years? It's also understandable if they don't.
