- After years of stagnant funding, medical research in the United States is set for a big cash infusion that experts expect will boost work on a range of ailments as well studies involving human embryonic stem cells.
The $787 billion economic stimulus measure President Barack Obama signed on Tuesday includes $10 billion for the National Institutes of Health, with more than $8 billion of it to fund medical studies and the rest to upgrade research facilities.
Leaders in the research community said they expect money to go to scientists looking for better ways to treat cancer, heart disease, stroke, diabetes, Alzheimer's disease, obesity, arthritis, Parkinson's disease and other conditions.
"We have been working around the clock to prepare for this possibility, to make the most effective, transparent and immediate use of these extraordinary resources," acting NIH Director Dr. Raynard Kington said in an e-mail.
NIH funding is the lifeblood of much U.S. medical research. NIH funding was doubled from 1998 to 2003 in a push started during the Clinton administration, but stayed flat for the past six years under the Bush administration.
The new money, which advocacy groups say is largely due to Republican Senator Arlen Specter, comes on top of the NIH's normal funding of about $29 billion a year and will be spent over the next two years.
Kington said the NIH will favor grant applications that already have gone through the review process and have "a reasonable expectation of making progress in two years." The NIH has had no permanent leader since Dr. Elias Zerhouni resigned last year.
The advocacy group Research! America, whose members include research universities and hospitals as well as drug companies, said the money could create 70,000 jobs because it will flow to academic and research institutions across the country.
BACKLOG OF RESEARCH
"There is a backlog of approved, excellent research that NIH has not been able to fund. And the money will be spent now in order to get those projects up and running," Mary Woolley, the group's president, said in a telephone interview.
Dan ~ you are so totally correct in your take on this predator. I warned the company about these toxic lenders years ago. They have literally stolen
stocks on the pink sheets and the otcbb away from small investors, while the SEC looked the other way, as per usual. They should be investigated and punished for what they have done. Don't listen to those here who are cheering DNAG's demise...they are callous, uncaring,
unprincipled carping idiots, who have nothing better to do than bash sub penny stocks...perhaps even involved in the shorting of this one. Who knows? Otherwise, if they have nothing at stake in this, if normal people, they'd be gone a long time ago. They love to pour salt into the wounds left by these greedy gut lenders...and should be ashamed of themselves for still trying to do so.
I owned a very promising stock for a while...in the right industry, at the right time...one that was close to making it...they just needed a bit more time....but no, the same buzzards swooped down and pecked them to death,
just as they've done here.
They became the victims of this hedgefund, toxic lender...and all of their people had to exit the company.
I sold right away..and it went into oblivion because of this
Dan...don't listen to the ones here who keep up this hateful death march.
the ones who have hated this stock from the getgo and who intrude into the on-line lives of those who hold it.
It's all a part of the same low-life
game...against microcap stocks...betting they will go under, because, again, the stinkin' banks were too greedy and busy destroying our financial system with their packaged junk mtg. backed securities, never considering companies that add to the betterment and well-being of mankind. This is a tragedy...as my poem on Valentine's Night expressed.
It is very, very true!
Babe
The Untimely Death of DNAPrint Genomics
A company this Nation needs
desperately ~ has gone
the way of many small-cap stocks,
that small investors owned.
The backing and support, required,
was never there for them,
financially ~ were left to be
victims of the whims
of those allowed to naked short
by the SEC
start-up stocks ~ out of the gate,
a total tragedy!
Other Nations don't allow
their biotechs and techs
to be abused by shorters,
without support, respect
that any new-born stock so needs.
And not a single bank
would lend them funds to carry on.
And so, to be quite frank,
this is a story of neglect,
of chronic, dark abuse,
allowed by the SEC,
and there is no excuse
For DNAPrint Genomics to
have to shut its doors,
while banks were chasing risky deals,
bad mortages and more,
their costly downfall, of today,
and as we pay their check,
think about those killers
who'll not be caught and get
another chance to murder,
because the Science that gave
hair, eye color, race makeup
from dna was made
unavailable ~ by those
who let it come to this,
who made their beds with Wall Street,
whose demands ~ they can't resist.
Allowing naked shorting
because of hedge fund greed
that spread beyond the limits of
what normal people need
and took with it ~ those companies
like ours, here ~ who died,
into the hell of finance
into the pit where pride
of making millions, monthly,
was all that mattered now.
Destruction ~ in the wake of greed,
mattered not ~ somehow.
And so, because of sheer neglect,
and toxic lending ~ we
find their doors, all shuttered,
their dreams destroyed and see
a company that struggled so,
for nearly twenty years,
die, indeed, from lack of funds:
It's all so very clear
They had so much to offer
in Genomic Medicine,
to help save lives of patients,
so many ~ who'd become
damaged from toxicity
of chemicals ~ their genes
found too incompatible,
Our Science would have screened
people, all, genetically,
and made great leaps and bounds
in treating patients, properly,
but they won't be around,
because of greed and Wall Street's
need
to use our tender, young
stocks as merely fodder,
to get their shorting done,
and because the SEC
neglected, terribly,
to demand fair play for them,
This day has come to be!
Our hearts go out to every stock
who suffered their abuse,
but for one ~ so vital,
like this one ~ no excuse,
no words of 'we're so sorry
for our gross neglect'.
They killed this needed Biotech,
as if they broke its neck!
Investors won't forgive,forget
this awful tragedy,
Where no one came to help, to save,
this needed company,
that could have saved so many lives,
helped medicine advance,
made progress in forensics,
but they never had a chance!
Babe
Valentine's Day 2009
Sean...yes, it's been one letdown after the other...with this and all other microcaps. They could never get funding, while the banks and hedge funds were busy chasing toxic mtg. backed securities...american public companies were going begging, having to give their techologies away
because no money was ever available to them...at least only toxic funding could be obtained.
Now, the security portal part of it,
Isotec has been sold and is no longer part of the company. Tthat really upset me, because that's the reason I stayed with it so long...
it's needed today, more than ever!
Wall St. doesn't give a hoot, nor does the SEC as to how our small public companies have to go begging and are naked shorted until they can
no longer exist. The company claims they are working on a one of a kind
sensor that will be very useful to
our military and medicine, etc.
There are tons of sensor stocks out there....so I'm not pleaased about this turn of events. Who knows what will happen to WOAM...the new symbol...only time will tell.
all the best to you in 09
Babe
Daniel ~` long ago, when credit was flowing like wine to those who were making irrational decisions re: the toxic mrg. backed securities....no one would give a penny to DNAG.
Duchess is a predator, not a helpmate in any sense of the word.
Tthey only do what they think, wrongfully so, benefits them. I've had to sell stocks for zilch because they were the lenders, shorters and
eventually owners of two companies.
They don't help companies, they hinder companies, and Congress had better get on top of their game now, because small public companies are going down the tubes because of their pathetic borrowing situation, just like DNAG.
America needs every single public company they can get to succeed.
We all know why...but when hedge funds and crooked lenders get control only they make money...no one else. And the products and services they could sell or render are destroyed, never allowed to enter into the stream of commerce.
I don't think Duchess would do one
fair thing...not one...and if I were DNAG, I would not beg at their knees for anything! I would go to my Congress person immediately and tell them the story of how they were not
helped by bankers, other lenders in any usual way. I would demand that
it be looked into...this scam that has been allowed by the unworkable
SEC. They have failed small public companies in a way that is criminal.
Jobs lost, lives destroyed, biotechs
killed off and not helped by big pharma, by the gov. as other nations do, or by the banks, the stupid banks that we now have to bail out because of their foolish decisions.
I tried to get some with deep pockets to come to the rescue, but they don't give a hoot about those in need, just making more and more
bloody dollars at every one else's expense. They don't care if serial killers get caught...or if law enforcement can save money from a particular science...no, just that they are considered kingpins...however, much greed it takes to keep that image going.
Now, with Congress moving to help
those going under, they stand a much better chance of getting
their story told, and of getting some sympathy, and even funding.
It is up to us to help them now...as you have always done...and right this awful wrong once and for all.
I can't open that url you gave...the ugly picture..and don't have a clue as to what it's about...can only imagine.
No, don't count on Duchess to have a heart and help them..They are a big part of the problem..not the solution.
We need a good writer to get this whole story out there...I have some ideas and will persue them...
unless you feel that would be the wrong path to take.
We cannot just let them die off, like all the others who would have created a lot of jobs and contributed to the health and betterment of this nation.
Babe
hate to disagree, Porgie...nothing personal, but companies that are manipulated like DNAG and a ton of other otcbb stocks with once great potential, cannot thrive. This stock has been naked shorted for years now...and because they had to do a RS, partly because of that manipulation, investors were badly hurt and many moved on.
Those who stood to gain by lowering the share price, did so...and companies who are in this kind of
quick sand cannot thrive.
They can't pay staff...they can't get
serious investors interested...they can't grow within because of lack of funding. Startups get mostly slapped around in America, and so, only those companies that have ties to the deep pockets of wall st. controllers, can
survive.
You cannot make money, if you don't have solid investment...look at the companies now, once prosperous, but who cannot get loans from our dumb banks to support their mfg. and pay roll..anymore ~ the thing that kept them going in the past.
That is such a false conclusion.
If you have connections on wall st., you can make it...if you are an honest
individual like Tony...and try to play the game forthrightly...you can no longer win, as a rule.
Biotechs are notorious for not making it...and we, as a nation, are the losers...as is the population of the world.
No, it's not that simple, Sir....it's
one of the most complex problems public companies starting out have to face...and a painful way to make a living, indeed.
Those who do this...are to be lauded..
because too often, in this nation, they get kicked in the face and no helping hand ever picks them up and
helps them towards the road to success.
You make it sound like child's play
it's. a vicious, punishing, horrific system...and if DNAG succeeds, it will be nothing short of a miracle.
But America needs positive outcomes now...needs to get down to basics, to what really matters...and health will always matter.
Wish I could find a copy of that poem I wrote years ago...The Oak in the Acorn, or some such about DNAG...
that told the story as I hope it to be and believe it will be one day, some way.
Babe
Amen ~ Where this stock is concerned, hope springs eternal...there's too much here, to pretend ~ we are not there, anywhere. DNAG IS here...deal with it stock snobs.
Babe
I honestly believe that our day will come. I and others have tried to spread the word about what DNAG has to offer society, to those who might
have an interest in such matters, and surely, someone, with brains, will step forth and help this small company survive. I've also notified someone powerful in the State about what this Florida company has had to endure to survive, with no one helping..while the banks lent to abusers of the system. It is almost criminal how wall st. punishes startups and forces them to go on bended knees to the toxic lenders and hedge fund tricksters. And how much
job growth, commerce, life saving techs and biotechs fall by the wayside, because of neglect.
Other nations protect their young companies like DNAG...while we set them up as fodder for the traders, market makers and hedge fund shorters.
If DNAG does not make it, it will be because of the greedy guts who have raped the system and left broken, shattered businesses and lives in their wake.
It's not just the Madoffs and other crooks, it's the system itself that rewards treachery and punishes good.
Babe
Hi Sam and other long termers here...
it has been a lot like serving time
behind bars, and today, have to question my sanity...bought a good bit more of this for some reason...probably should've bought some BAC calls, instead. But anyway, came here afterwards and saw your post, and it made me feel a little better...tired of throwing good money after bad. Surely, this will turn around before the end of the ages. Yup...as Sarah P. would say...proably did a bad, bad thing...but we'll see.
We need a rescue from the results of
toxic lenders, naked shorters and
all who picked the bones of this stock a long time agao. But small public businesses won't get diddly squat as usual..just a kiss and a promise to cut taxes...What taxes?
LOL..we need to make them cut our losses instead.
btw...yahoo has removed posts that
blame the hedge funds for the naked shorting...imagine that?
Have you ever gone to the site..
Deep Cover? It's a fascinating place with so much factual info that many people want to know about the abuse of the system and microcaps stocks, along with mid caps and some large caps...fascinating story...
the first col. on left side of page
is long but a must read, indeed.
GLTA
BAbe
All true, but to me, the most pressing problem is that small companies here in the U.S. are deterred from offering advances in science and medicine because they are abused by the whole system, from wall st. to D.C....and have to go begging to get funding..from crooked lenders, at that.
This what hinders progress and helps make us a rigged financial system, where the powerful smother the little guys with their cloak of greed!
Babe
Hey...anybody home here? With all that is going on, surprised to see not post since April.
If any readers around ~ please respond...we are getting close to
fruition here...at least, in one aspect of their planning.
Any longs still around?
tia.
Babe
Interesting trading numbers on DNAG..
3,333 shares bought
up 6,666 %
is that an omen or something?
Seriously, watch the number being bought each day...and some sold...of course...but it's often an odd looking number...could it be a signal that someone is taking note?
or..could it be that we are doooommmed as the detractors say, day after day?
all in fun,
Babe
you're a poet & ya know it!
I know there's not much to say now...but perhaps some day in the near future, there will be, hopefully.
funny thing...went back to check news & prices on my stocks after writing post and it said 'no such symbol as dnag.pk.' I was looking at the whole portfolio listing, not dnag...so thought that was odd.
then, I refreshed the portfolio and it showed up as dnag.pk...no alert this time. Just wish it had been because it returned to the otcbb..
but knew that wasn't the case.
Babe
As some here know, Cox finally stated at the Senate Banking & finance Com. hearing, today, that
they will deal with naked shorting
being utilized against Fred M. & Fanny M. right away...and when asked about other stocks being abused by n. shorters...he said that this issue is being looked at and they will come to some conclusions soon, hopefully. This is outrageous..really...the sec has been footdragging for almost ten years now, promising to do something about this fatal practice..that has destroyed so many promising microcaps, unable to borrow from dumb banks...who put their customer's cash deposits into trading risky mtgs.
Anyway, let's hope that this illegal practice will end soon. Funny how
these hedge funds like Duchess bring small stocks to their knees and then sometimes, move in to take a stake in them, as they did with Firecreek
Petroleum recently. I have never seen anything like the shady practices allowed by our gov. for those on wall st. One day, people will just walk away from this vicious, uncontrolled, insane system and never, ever return. Just watch the way the nuts trade it up and down all day long...like the manics they really are. Nonsense, all of it....they don't buy stocks, they trade indexes and control the wealth of this nation at a moment's whim.
DNAP deserved better than this..hopefully, someone will see the injustice done here and come to their aid.
This board is becoming a no man's land with just a few making their usual snide remarks..and a very few
contributing, still, in a positive and honest way. It's getting harder and harder to bother to come and read. This stockboy character takes us most of the page with his nonsense. I only hope that if and when things begin to improve for dnap, than some of these characters will leave...and let a real discussion take place in the future.
I'm not giving up on DNAPrint...
period.
Babe
Thanks Sam for posting that! And yes, it is tremendously important to those who want to see DNAG make it..not the detractors who berate the company so often on this board.
Yes, the drop in price, etc. does lend itself to bashing, but there is much more at stake here than just money being made or lost. If this company goes down for lack of funding, it will be another example of how the little guy(business) is getting slapped around by the money baggers, and that the 'free market system' only exists now for the haves, not the have nots, including the ones with less brainpower getting the $$ and messing up more often than not, where the brightest and best are getting the shaft.
Again...this news is so very important and thanks again for bringing it here. If only!
btw, did you ever get my private email send some months ago? If so, that's ok if you didn't respond, but if not, I'll write again.
all the best to you and the others, here who still care.
Babe
that's odd...the usual games! My broker said he picked up that same amount for a client in the afternoon.
you should perhaps try again in the am. if so inclined.
The road's been long and winding,
rocky ~ all the way,
filled with disappointments,
still, we need to stay
on this journey ~ till, my friends,
we can see, at last, the end
either, to the torture of
a microcap, in chains,
a stock some here have come to love,
while others feel disdain,
or to some success ~ that comes
like sudden showers ~ with the sun
still out, still shining ~ cooling down
a dry, hot summer day,
a pleasant, fleeting, welcomed sight
and so, we wait and pray
that somehow, someone will step up
and take away that bitter cup
that we've been drinking from, too long,
and make our dream come true.
and let DNAG be free at last
to do all it can do,
to make this world a safer place
To let her die ~ a true disgrace.
Investing means that one believes
enough to be a part
of a stock's tough journey,
and yes, sometimes, the heart
gets involved and cares too much
and can't let go ~ and for me, such
has been the case for many years,
because it would be wrong
for something so important
to suddenly be gone.
Those who've tried to take her down
through toxic loans ~ and shorting
rounds
should be punished, yet I know
because of wealth and power
and political connections,
I doubt we'll see that hour
or that day of their demise.
Yet,like the rain ~`from sunny skies,
out of nowhere ~ it may come
an answer to the prayers.
of those, let down and weary,
so painfully aware
that this could mean the end ~ or be
the winding road ~` to Victory!
half asleep
Babe
Perhaps someone took pity on us...someone, honest and sympathetic, who cares about market abuses...someone, with very deep pockets, who, now, knows our story.
Only time will tell....
but probably not...that would be
a wall street miracle, and they say ~ that just doesn't happen to the good guys anymore. But I hope with all my heart that is ~ what is happening now. with this striving, potentially valuable little company that some of us deeply care about.
Babe
p.s. I can dream, can't I?
It would be close to criminal if this company is not rescued right away....
To allow them to fail, just because
money is tight except for gambling hedge funds, etc....would be a sad day
indeed. There's someone out there with deep pockets who might help them...If we can't find one here, perhaps we should go overseas to look
for someone with vision and understanding of the potential here.
If the Saudis can rescue some of our banks...why not an interesting microcap with a ton of potential, like DNAG ~ one that can save lives, help catch criminals and inform people about their ancestors and information about their pets....
I'm going to try to do my part to bring this company to the attention of
a few with deep pockets, fwiw.
It may be to no avail....but it won't hurt to try. Being a poetess...and
known by a few who could fit that bill....I will use that connection to
try and help a company that I care a great deal about...not just for the $$$ it might make me...but for the
good of mankind and our future well being.
I have tried with Pharma to a small degree, so now, will start with individuals with the ability to help, if they only knew....what might be, not what might have been..we can't let
this one do the otcbb death march...
it's time to really fight back!
I will not give up on this stock....
period.
Babe.
Can you imagine that perhaps someone else is looking at DNAG and they don't want to be in a box, should a better opt. present itself? There's no reason on earth that some larger company should not be interested in this one. They have so much going for them...just not the $ needed to keep it going. Look at all aspects of DNAG and then consider the wasted potential here...for lack of funds being invested.
NO, the smart money went into risky
prime mortgage trading...now being lost
totally. If they one of those hedge funds or investment banks had put a
smidgen of that wasted money into companies like dnag..they would be far better off today, than they now are.
These same idiots, who call themselves
'smart money men'....have even caused foreign banks and other financial institutions to falter now. How could they know what some of us always knew...that these hot shot traders were merely stupid sheep, following the leader into the abyss.
Tthese are the same manipulators who shorted all the microcaps, laughing as they put many of them out of business.
And now, our tax money rescues once again an underhanded, slimey hedge fund
within a large institution...(too big to fail, says the Fed.)
Well, we're where we are not because of company sleeze or dishonesty, but because we had to go begging to the crooks...the only onessanctioned to lend us money so they could destroy us, in so doing.
I'm sorry for all those who may get
various diseases that we might have helped to cure, all those who may lose loved ones to murders, that we might have been able to help put away.
America is headed in the wrong direction...has been for 20 years now...while other countries support their start up companies in biotech and tech...and we send them out on the battlefield of wall street, unarmed,
against an enemy with every weapon under the sun, waiting to destroy them.
DNAG is a victim of this atrocious
conduct...and if you get angry...get mad at the right people..not those who struggled for years to fulfill a dream
that so many had hoped would one day come to fruition.
I'll keep my shares...no matter what...
and if I lose it all...will not blame DNAG, but the real killers of microcap stocks...who still stalk them and taunt them and harm them in every way possible, with the blessing of wall street and the sec.
Babe
Important ~~~ Fairly soon Senator Bennett will confront Cox of SEC about naked shorting on Cspan 2. Very important to all who care a bout this issue.
He's the only one who dared to do this...CNBC cut off the hearings as soon as Bennett began to quiz Cox, and put their so-called in-house analysts on instead, until he was through with his inquiry. Tthen, they returned to the hearing...
incredible!
Posts on another board remark on DNAG again being put on the naked shorting list with fails. This is outrageous and against sec rules, yet, the sec does nothing. Now, who is shorting DNAG at these high rates now and why?
Here is a company TRYING against all odds to help mankind and it's getting
killed by the naked shorts, over and over again. We need to address this, instead of saying shareholders are
leaving in droves.
No one seems to care...we just talk about the possible merger...and nothing about how the stock price has crashed, caused by vicious shorting.
The lower it goes, the less we get, and
this is close to criminal!
Cramer is on tape on Utube telling traders to naked short against sec rules...and that includes companies
that are worthwhile, such as DNAPrint Genomics and that they should manipulate the market..etc. etc.
Tthis loud mouth has always disgusted me, but
hearing these remarks only strengthens my argument against him over the years of manipulation. NBC is nuts to keep him on.
Hopefully, he will be investigated by Congress
before it's all over.
I'm sick of this blatant manipulation and as long as we continue to keep silent and don't demand the sec stop this
$#@&...we'll be losing money, over and over and over again, and worthwhile companies such as this will continue to struggle agains all odds to keep their doors open.
That we are back on the naked shorting list as we now are, should enrage holders of this stock, anger them enough to call the sec,,
even every Senator on the Banking committee...
None of the candidates have even alluded to this
farce called trading on the otcbb...and how the few control the many without any protest whatsoever.
If something is not done soon, I will just sell ALL my microcaps and leave this cesspool of greed. It's not worth the anger I feel over these injustices against all concerned.
Actually, a startup on the USA doesn't have but a fraction of a change to succeed...because of Wall St. firms and their greed, and big corps. who don't want competition.
Researching our possible partner or owner is fine...but sitting here, allowing the shorts to destroy our stock, is nothing less than foolish.
Tthe number to the sec is 1-800-732-0330. They ask if you wish to speak to someone regarding trading of a stock, etc.or something to that effect...and connect you right away. Tthey let you make your statement and promise to look into the trading of that stock.
Unless, many request it and complain about the manipulation of the stock and the breaking of sec rules, it won't matter. Only a large number of complaints get action.
This is so very important...if the naked shorting continues, unabated, we won't have anything to discuss on this board re: this stock...it will be history, finally destroyed by a few hateful, vicious stock killers. Either that or we'll get zilch for our shares.
Does this matter? It's your call now.
Babe
Absolutely....DNAPrint Genomics is 'meant to be'...otherwise, most of us would be long gone. It's a sad story, really...that a company with ALL this great potential to help humanity in pharma and forensics has had to go begging for $$ to even stay alive in the otcbb cesspool.
It really breaks my heart to see how
this struggle has continued for so long and gotten them so little in recognition. Big Pharma has missed the boat by not going after this company. It has so much that they need and especially with so many of their drugs losing their protection
now and in the months and years to come. What a pity that they are not forward looking enough to see what's
just around the bend...a company that
has so much that can affect so many in a positive way.
Surely, some day, this one will be
rewarded...for all the crooked lending, naked shorting they have had to endure and for all the wonderful national publicity that has all but been ignored by the big caps..to their detriment, to their loss and
one day, to their shame.
Other nations support their emerging tech and biotech startups...America allows the greedy lenders and hedge funds to abaolutely destroy their young. What a sad story...when those same hedge funds helped bring about the mortgage crisis. The hot shot traders who have practically destroyed the U.S. market and have left banks and others with huge debt writeoffs, and pension funds shot to heck now, with losses that are enormous, not to mention the people who have lost it all in this scam
trading scheme.
It's time to go back to basis. Invest in that which helps a country grow, helps it exports to increase, the welfare of its people to improve
and get away from the fast buck bs
of the past 20 years.
DNAG deserves to succeed...it has sufferd enough...we have endured enough. Our time to shine is way past due.
It's now or never..as E. said.
Babe
Any thoughts about price drop of late?
I really don't want to sell, because they do have so much potential. Just wish it would stop tanking for a change. Anyone here?
tia.
Babe
Very strange, indeed. Just posted on that older wdam site here and it ended up back here. It showed zero posts...
odd, to say the least.
So, forget the'where did everyone go?' question...It answered itself.
Babe
Hey...where did everyone go? WDAM is just beginning to get going...and we need to discuss the happenings here.
I expect things to pick up in the
portal area as time passes and of course, the news re: airforce award for senzit...was very good.
But isotec is sittin' on ready & rockin' on Go...and the huge need for
security portals at banks, gov. inst., private business is only going to increase...we have what they need at less cost...and in today's financially
troubled situation, what could be better? No bashers respond please.
Their day has come and gone!
Babe
Doc...can you pls. tell me how to post
without replying to another on this board? I'm just returning to Ihub after a while, having tech. problems
between my isp and this site...and for some reason, I only get this page with no mention of posting new subject, etc....only can reply to other posts.
I started a WDAM board here several years ago...but no one came. Wonder if this is the same one, or a different one?
I'm a long-time holder of the stock, believing that one day, out of the blue, things would change for them
considerably in the affirmative.
I thought the big bank contract was very important..much more than some might imagine. Many of their branches are in high risk areas...and so, if they like the portal, the potential could be great. PLUS, other banks will begin to get pressure fromt their employees and customers to get the same security portal...because, people are more and more anxious about the huge amount of robberies taking place all over the U.S...espec. here in so. fla...where pharmacies have joined the ranks of the often robbed.
hope you or someone sees this and can guide me to the area where one can post a new post, not just ans. another.
tia.
Babe
Since the company had to use stock as payment for services, there has been regular selling. However, that could come to an end as progress is made obtaining new contracts and expanding on previous ones. That is a given..because Isotec has the most reasonable, most secure entryways of any company out there for the price.
Their new distributors are only beginning to show results...and as more and more banks, pharmacies, etc. are robbed, espec. here in So. Fla...
(a constant), the more portals they will sell.
It has been a huge struggle getting to this place where they will receive the recognition and orders they deserve.
So, don't go by past history....look at the future potential...they have ins with the Gov., Military, banks,
and private businesses...and tell me, basherboys, how can you beat that?
Where are the sun fans here? The yahoo board has become a political cat fight...very little about SUNW.
Hoped there would be some interest here, but seems as though no one's home.
Babe
Laptoptrader ~ thanks for directing me here!
I couldn't understand why, with all that is going on, there were virtually no posts on that other ptsc board.
Imo ~ news this am just reinforces the positive potential here, and anyone thinking otherwise is either short or short on grey matter.

Surely, you jest! Naked shorting has just about destroyed most otcbb companies over the past ten years....keeping them so low with help from the manipulative MM's....so that no lender except a toxic one wants to get involved.
If they had been allowed to do what they do freely today, through all sorts of underhanded tactis, Microsoft would have been dead in the water and never made it to the point where it is today. To wish a company to be shorted, with shares never borrowed or bought back, is
nuts! Because what you wish for, is the very thing that could do this company in, before it has a chance to prove itself. Sub-penny and mere low penny stock, cannot get financing to grow or pay their employees, etc.
Think about what you wrote....do you really believe it's a valid statement? I can give you the name of some destroyed stocks right now selling for zilch....way below a penny...that you can load up on all you wish, but you won't win with them...not a chance.
Every investor should be treated equally....as should every single stock....it is criminal that this is not the case with the otcbb and pinks. The more the hedgefunds and shorting brats destroy a stock, increasing artificially its float, etc. the less the nation thrives in its commerce. If we supported our microcaps, like some countries do...not batter them to death for the gain of a very few rich greedyguts, even our trade deficit would narrow.
You can't beat down new techs and biotecs, etc., to make some fast cash by naked shorting, and expect a nation to flourish. This country is so messed up re: this naked shorting...allowing it to continue, and saying that the hedgefunds should not be transparent or have the same rules as a U.S. brokerage, is insanity. And these chickens are coming home to roost....those battered stocks that had so much potential are slowly, but surely fading from our investment landscape, while the blue chips continue to thrive. And we know how they play the game too....either copy of outright steal the tech and never look back.
No, naked shorting isn't giving anyone any chance whatsoever...and until it ends, absolutely, the letdown of the small investors, those doing their homework and chosing companies with a lot of promise...will never let up!

KMP....reading this pr today, I see six weeks for Plum mine....
Is this what you were referring to? tia. Babe
GoldSpring also announced that it has resumed drilling and processing operations at the Plum Mine in the last week and mining operations commenced on May 15, 2006. In a joint effort with Mine Development and Associates, the Company has recently completed its mine plan. Within the next six weeks, the Company expects to receive a qualified report measuring its proven and probable reserves. Based on the mine plan and internal calculations, the Company expects to ramp up monthly gold production to 1,200 ounces by mid-summer 2006 and anticipates gold production costs of less than $350 per ounce. Jim Golden stated, "Since last November, we have focused on improving the fundamentals of our operation, and we are now experiencing the positive results of our efforts. The current gold prices make this a unique time for developing mining companies, especially in the United States. We are excited about the possibilities created by this market and look forward to seizing the opportunities available for growth both within and outside the Comstock Lode of Nevada."

KMP ~ Didn't they state six weeks until they'd have the survey completed, or did I miss something?

Dnaowner...thanks for posting this. It is an outrage that a company that has so much to offer in the field of medicine, forensics, and more...has been treated in such a manner for such a long, long time. It's time the company screams bloody murder to their Congressman and Senator and demands that the NEVER be back on that list again! Since the hedge funds who do a great deal of this naked shorting give so much to the re-election coffers of our Congressmen and women and Senators, they get by with stock murder on a regular basis. If Cox doesn't clean up this racket, it will prove that the individual investor in American, most of them voters, doesn't matter in the least in the money making factory of Wall St. and Penn. Ave.
It's time to stop this thieving and let our small caps go!
thanks again..
Babe
OT: Kashman ~ are you out there, somewhere? There's a glitch between msntv2 and Raging Bull, and I can't access your posts on the old FGWC board. Do you post any of that information on IHUB? If so, where? Many depend upon your posts to keep abreast of the latest on the naked shorting situation...and I really need to read what you have written or posted these past ten days or so....until the technical problem between msn and RB can be resolved. tia...Babe
p.s. FGWC is one of the most unrecognized companies in the otcbb re: its future potential. And since RB doesn't update the symbol, few can find info about it...unless they are coming here. I forgot my password, so am just now coming back to IHUB...where there is more sanity re: the discussion of this company, anyway. But do need to read your posts
either here or via e-mail, if you'd be so kind.
thanks again, Babe
OT; but something DNAG should have considered attending...so close by and seemingly a great opt. to interest foreign investors and get the word out...it relates to news on another of my stocks...and when I cut and pasted it...no way I could take them out of the article and it make sense. So, not trying to tout another stock...never do that...just thinking how nice it would be were DNAG attending also.
The stock price has become a slug and it's time to turn it into a racer snake...and get this show on the road.

Dr. Dew....'tricks up his sleeve'....hopefully, one of them is to take the time to communicate his anger over the SEC allowed manipulation of his company's stock. That would be a start!
If DNAG does not get into this matter, which concerns their and our future financially, it won't matter what the IPO does. If you continue to steal the value of a stock drop by drop...news will not change that. It will go up for the moment, but if not challenged, it will continue to slide. Why the silence on this matter from the company? Can't they see the damage done to all concerned since the huge RS? If a move is not made by their legal team to end this bs, we are all simply whistling in the dark, hoping to ward off the goblins...
when we are, in fact, inviting them in, once again. Someone please explain to me why other companies are fighting back and not DNAG?
Others had RS's and when the shorts began to
play their games and the shares began to fall, with no selling from investors...just shorters..they got hot under the collar and moved against them. We have fallen into the ditch..now where are the heroes here to get us out? News...smooze...that won't do it!
We've been there, done that too darn many times.
Now, get this stock price back where it belongs or tell the shareholders why!!!
Babe
It is worth more than a penny...and it's a disgrace that the company has not stopped this manipulation of their stock. Other companies are fighting mad and fighting back...and demanding that this insidious theft end now!
And it is stopping for those who dare and who care. This has been the most outrageous situation I have ever seen...for a company with so much at stake and so much potential to allow these dirtbag hedgefunds to continue to naked short this stock. No sane person would sell here...just shorters. If DNAG does not put a stop to this bleeding of their share price, then they should be held responsible for this
crash! If other companies warn the MM's and the SEC to make the illegal shorting stop, then DNAG OWES it to its investors to do the same.
I'm so fed up with this mess, I can't tell you
how much. For them to allow this to happen without lifting a finger to stop it is beyond the pale.
Wonder if anyone is home there...in the reasoning department...You can have all the wonderful potential in the world and the brightest minds working for you...but unless you stop illegal trading in your stock, it's
futile period. They owe that to us big time!
And to themselves!
Fed up
Babe
News was excellent...yet, the beat goes on and the stock suffers insulting sells by shorts or whomever and we take another step backwards.
It's time this stuff stops! We could have news of a zillion dollar contract..and we'd still see some entity messin' with this stock.
Tell Jever my Voo Doo poem is comin' up...to help him with his hex!
