Big day today boys and girls.
This thing is just itching to take off like a rocket ship.
Wow, scary day. Bought in yesterday and almost sh** my pants when I saw it down 11% today.
My opinion based on how things have looked in the past as well as the fact that they moved it up by a week is that it will go really well. I'm kinda surprised that the PPS hasn't reflected that yet though. Maybe people are more worried than I am?
I don't think you'll get a chance to get under $5.00 :)
I thought we were done with this crap now. Come on HEK
It's been one hek of a day. har har har.
Agreed. All of the selling is really strange though. Guess these guys will be sorry they sold.
Agreed. Anyone who sells this is just plain dumb. :D
From a Motley Fool article published 3 days ago:
What's the fracking problem?
Emotional investing appears to be getting the better of Heckmann (NYSE: HEK ) at the moment, with opponents to fracking -- the act of shooting water, sand, and chemicals into rock formations to break them up and make it easier to access oil and gas reserves -- scaring investors out of the stock in droves. Luckily for shareholders, emotional investing is often a short-term event.
Heckmann is going to have a hard time making a name for itself, as fellow Fool Rich Duprey recently pointed out. Cameron International (NYSE: CAM ) currently possesses more than half of the oil-field water solutions side of the business, with multiple other competitors in the mix. Still, it's hard to ignore Heckmann's recent success. The company has turned profitable on a quarterly basis and is expected to grow by 27.5% over the next five years. Whether it stays independent or catches the eye of a company like Cameron remains a question mark, but its forward earnings multiple of 34 seems remarkably reasonable and is likely to fall further.
Agreed. Pretty rough seeing this happen. I can't imagine it going down too much more though right now. I'm holding on.
Very volitile stock these days.
People need to stop bid whacking. Ugh!
Not looking good here. Wish this would get back to 17s.
What the hel* is going on here. 47k volume and this thing tanks...
I was lucky enough to get in at .004 today. Hoping for a big day tomorrow.
Surprisingly low volume so far today. Strange after about double the volume we are used to getting yesterday.
Gotta love logging on to BasherHub.com on a Friday night for some good ole unwarranted bashing of a company that posted Q3 revs when they said they would. They had positive cash flow yet everyone is upset that they didn't rake in millions in Q3 (which ended in September) when the honeywell contract was just announced at the end of Q4.
Think you guys are jumping the gun a bit on all the negativity? If you want to bash a stock, go post in forums about companies that actually warrant such things, like 90% of the other pink sheet stocks posted about on BasherHub.
Booya! Thats the best New Years eve present I have ever gotten!
Lets hope this thing starts taking off in January.
Happy new year everyone!
Just think about it this way, On Monday it will hit $1 and then you don't have to pay the taxes on that for another whole year :D
I wasn't comparing it to Microsoft, The point I was trying to get across was just because the price has dropped a bit, doesn't mean there is dilution. All stocks go up and down :)
Hmm, Intel and Microsoft both went down today. Are they diluting their stock? Wow, if the stock price goes down, we better immediately assume that its dilution. Oh yeah, btw, only 2 million shares today, the company really must be diluting so they can pick up an extra couple thousand bucks. Give me a break. This is a major company that just landed a multi million dollar defense contract. You think they are selling their shares to make a couple measly thousand dollars? Get real.
Agreed. I think come monday those of us still holding will be happy.
Wow I go away for about a week and when I come back all I see is negative posts and ridiculous claims about dilution, etc. Are you guys really shocked that the price is slowly ticking down? We all discussed 2 weeks ago that this stock probably wasn't going to do too well over the last couple weeks of the year with the holidays and tax selling, etc.
Also, dilution? There isn't enough volume for significant dilution. Price ticks down when there is low volume. Thats all we are seeing here people. Quit freaking out. The defense contract that they just landed combined with typical January increases in volume will send this one back up in no time. I am not going to say that I think its going to hit .05 in a couple days or anything like that, but it should slowly tick back up here.
NITE is just doing it's best to keep this one down.
Slowly climbing back up...
This one is very volatile today.
Agreed. Thanks for the insight. I agree that having it skyrocket too fast is not a good thing either (unless you are a day trader and know when to pull the trigger). Let's hope the PPS slowly ticks up forever and all of our Christmas wishes come true...
Not complaining about a 12% gain, just commenting that it seems strange that we only get a 12% gain when significant news comes out when we received a much larger gain recently on no news at all. People are throwing out numbers of the stock hitting $1 or more in recent months. Seems if even .05 is going to happen, we need bigger gains than this on news that seems to come once every 3 months or so. Just making an observation.
Edit: Again, not complaining about the price, just saying that it is confusing to me that it only goes up 12% on a huge news day. I still think this company is going in great places and the PPS will show it in the future.
It is pretty frustrating that no news forces this one up from .015 to over .02 a couple weeks ago and this significant news doesn't do much of anything (as far as closing PPS). I was expecting news to really send this one flying high. I am hoping it continues to gain through the week as others have claimed.
With how much this has been rising the last couple of weeks without news I am surprised this didn't shoot through the roof on this news. Whats up with that?
As long as it isn't another 3+ months before they release the next news release. Otherwise we are going back down into the .01s again like a yo-yo.
All it did for me is encourage buying...
Is this old news or something new?
Trying not to be too greedy. :)
Dear Santa,
All I want for Christmas is for EVRM to release news on financials.
Sincerely,
Error49
If the company would release some news, we would do very well.
I'm pretty sure that there isn't going to be a mass selloff solely because people posted that the stock might hit 50 cents by EOY and it doesn't happen.
Edit: Sorry, meant for this message to be a reply to Gileon.
I can't wait for tomorrow. (I usually never say that on a weekend - going back to a work day). I am hoping we can continue this drive up to at least .05 before EOY
