"CUM is one of the biggest discoveries of my life and I believe it has the potential to explode next week!" <---was in Lebed.biz's latest email. AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA LMAO
Anybody out there know about HGSI before the boom??
you think it might only be 25bps?
does anybody else out there think the ECB won't cut interest rates?
maybe not by January but definitely by February '09.
I expect we'll retest the bottom of 7,450 on the Dow before January 23, 2009...so take that into account before getting in too early.
So where is this market now??
Very simply put, we're in the discouragement phase, which occurs after capitulation.
Last week the market experienced capitulation marked by mass panic selling.
Check out the following image illustrating the investor sentiment cycle:
Now that you've seen the illustration, look at a daily chart of the S&P 500. See any similarities??
LMAO MASS HYSTERIA!!!!!!
we are probably looking at the formation of a bottom... since we broke the longterm support at 7735.34
we've already seen the "dead-cat bounce" and a ton of panic selling. I mean, stocks, of even good companies, are being dumped and beaten down.
Honestly, I can't believe some of the bargains out there.
I think whats going on right now is panic selling and maybe the capitulation we've been waiting for.
nearing a market bottom...imo
anybody else think so?
too bad any shmuck can write something that ends up on google or wikipedia.
lol...I know right!
but it didnt get any better...
well duh...
FDR + Great Depression...
well...uhh...consider FDR and the Great Depression and your little averages there should change.
see what happens when you elect a democrap into office? ...the market goes to hell.
him?
I don't know, but I was talking about B.O.
sorry...can't
B.O. stinks and makes me want to throw up mostly.
no...I'm just someone pointing out that black people are NOT the minority in this country.
at least its not nasty aids ridden nigerian coochie cooties.
looks like the negros might win.
In 4 years they'll somehow have to get rid of all the little Nakalakareeka germs in the Whitehouse
yep and looks like it might run up again this week.
I tend to hold stocks no more than a month, but for the last two or three weeks (since the Dow bottomed) I've been holding on to a few stocks that have made some good coin...BBY, OMX..other than this one
so far so good
The Dow bottom was about two weeks ago. The thing with last week was that the Dow closed over its 90 day MA and there was positive accumulation...
well...i'm here.
That ANALyst from Citigroup, Prashant Bhatia, is trashing Etrade on the google boards, and I'm telling that tool to shutup.
I never said you were supposed to make a profit. lol
If Dow Futures continue holding up overnight, we might see ETFC back over $2
lol..."bank with a platform"
maybe more like "pawn shop with safety deposit boxes"
Etrade is a tough cookie to crack if anybody is thinking of a take over. Prior to Q3 earnings report, Citadel increased its position in Etrade by about 10mil shares. Etrade's brokerage business is gaining strength, especially with Layton's "back to the basics" strategy. Not to mention the fact that Etrade is leveraged a lot more than any of it's competitors, which isn't a bad thing. The only reason it's dragging the company down is because the rest of the market is in the toilet right now.
When it comes to this stock, you have to look beyond the market price, imo, to the actual book value of $4.74. The company is terribly undervalued. And if you compare book values, Etrade is pretty high compared to other discount brokers including AMTD.
If you consider Layton's strong background, I think he would have already filed for Chapter 11 if he thought Etrade didn't have a future.
yep...things can only get better from here for this broker..imo. S&P is usually good at calling these things
trading requirements for the big exchanges were suspended a while ago since most stocks are experiencing downside pressure like etfc.
most of the credit losses are one-time losses.
the bottom line is, this earnings report is GREAT NEWS!
well maybe i'll go complain to them then lol
come up with new stuff...new trading ideas, new savings account deals.....it doesnt matter, we already know the company is quite creative. You also have to consider that this isnt your average market. When the buyers come flocking back, which I think is sooner rather than later, people will make their first deposits with discount brokers.
but you have to include the gain otherwise it doesnt make sense...lol
at least the outlook is positive....or improving
lol...
nice...
Theres another company out there working on a similar ride...
