Thanks Jamesrmilligan! That's very sound advice which I will heed. My name is Crazy Maniac, but I'm not crazy. I'm actually just taking the temperature of the "investors" on this board. I have done pretty well on empty shells, and have also seen real companies buried by bashers on I-Hub, as I assume you have.
CM
I did... Right before it was delisted. How could they delist a reputable company like Aurus?
CM
Hi, Crazy Maniac here... First time on this board in months. It is hilarious that anyone still posts here. Still fun to see the familiar names.
CM
Hi, Crazy Maniac here. Is this a real company or a shell?
Thanks,
CM
And who is buying those shares? And why?
Maybe there is only 3 of us?
I think Aurus Corp intro page should be updated with the new information regarding the SEC findings and subsequent actions.
CM
I check in a few time a week. It's like looking into a hole in a hollow tree. Maybe someday there will be a squirrel in there.
CM
I guess that is something...
Ohiostockpicker and any one else,
I don't see how we could consider this a scam.
BLLD was a real company which warned investors that they were having financial problems long before announcing that they were no longer viable. They announced years ago that they were sending all employees home and no longer doing business. Isn't that "Game Over"?
yet the stock still traded although at sub penny levels.
No promises were made, or any communication at al for that matter, by Next10.
Maybe i'ts just me, but I don't see where we got scammed.
CM
No Paul, I recieved some western union payment. I didn't call it anything except cash. You did.
CM
True DOS, but I don't intend to show "evidence" at this point. Actually I'm a bit insulted at the inference that I (and others) lied about it.
CM
Paul123456,
I received an email telling me how to get money from western union, which was referred to as a dividend. I followed the instructions and received $0.008 cash/per share of AURC.
Call it a dividend, a ponzie scheme or what ever you want... I have evidence in the receipt from Western Union which I offered to show at the time. Maybe even did, I don't recall.
I can't believe you would think everyone that said they received a dividend from AURC was lying. Incredible.
CM
If the industry classification for a shell is meaningless, why did they bother to change it? Bulldog was a tech company.
CM
There would be no point to the reverse split and symbol change if the company didn't want to draw investors. No one will invest in a company with no web site, no news and which never communicated what it is doing to produce value. It follows therefore, that news from the company is sure to come out soon.
I just wish this were a tech stock rather than metals mining. I was an AURC bag holder, and I am so over mining stocks.
CM
Never joined Transfer Online either.
CM
I received a dividend (or payment) for every share and did not have to pay Western Union fees. I did not supply them any information which could be tied to my I-Hub handle or even tip them off that I am an I-Hub user.
Just saying...
CM
DOS, how did they know how many shares they owed you a dividend for??
CM
I think I never mentioned that when i sent my infor in for the dividend, I also sent evidence that I still hold the share I held on Dec. 31, 2009. Shouldn't make a difference but maybe it did.
CM
Sounds like you covered all possible avenues. Maybe they will come through, maybe not. Was the divi you recieved on the smallest account by chance?
CM
I guess we will all have to take you at your word on that. I don't agree with your opinions though.
One question: did you send a separate request for each account, or did you send one request containing the info for all three accounts? I think you can understand why I ask.
CM
How many posters actually supplied ALL the info required when requesting a dividend?
I suspect most who want a dividend did not comply fully with the requirements. I know I did and I got a dividend with in 3 weeks.
CM
I'm glad they are still paying out. After the silent period I was afraid they were not paying any one else.
CM
If the link "was" broken, it is now "fixed". The Aug. 27th news on how to get the dividend is accessible.
CM
ibreken,
In response to your question "How on earth did they ever get stuck in such a nightmare without being taken by the message board machine?"
Aurus was addressed in several snail mail pinkie publications (paid advertising I suppose) which circulated back when AURC was trading above $.20. That is where I first found out about Aurus. I didn't buy in at those prices though, and fortunately, I didn't get stuck at any where near .20.
Maybe they should try good old fashioned paper advertisements again? Draw in a crowd that doesn’t read ihub?
CM
I see. I was wrong about the use of the word "qualify".
Your first reply had the tone of a rebuttal. Of course you have to own the stock to "qualify" for a dividend. I agree owning the stock is all it takes to qualify for a dividend.
CM
What are you commenting about? I did not use the word QUALIFY in any of my posts.
I think the test will be December.
If everyone does get a dividend this time around there should be buying pressure in December. I will probably buy more AURC in December to qualify for the next divi. This is the first time I have concidered buying AURC in years.
If there isn't a increase in share price in December due to buying pressure...
CM
DOS,
I did the math. I did not pay $30 or give up any part of my dividend.
The attached document showed the dividend amount, the Western Union fee amount, the total and the amount paid to western union by Aurus. That amount was the total of my dividend and the Western Union fee.
I suspect that if you paid $30 it was because you didn't use a Western Union branch, but some other company that provided Western Union "service" for a fee.
I may be wrong about the fees others paid, but not about the fact that I didn't pay a fee.
CM
SkeBallLarry,
I did reply to your email earlier with detailed steps. The posts here coinside with my information. Your message was in the spam folder, so mine to you may be in your spam folder also.
CM
I don't see any email from you? Did you send it to m.juetter@yahoo.com?
Good point, Adams! I havent notified the company that I recieved the divi yet. I will be sure to include the share count and the divi amount in that email. (just in case).
CM
I went to Western Union and picked up my cash (no check) dividend last evening. The dividend turned out to be .000794834/share.
I did not have to pay anything to get my money. I can see clearly that Aurus company did pay a fee to Western Union. But I didn't.
If anyone paid a fee to get their dividend, the fee most likely went to the provider of the Western Unoin service. For instance, do not go to a "pay day loan" type place. The do charge a fee for the Western Union service.
I went to a Marsh Grocery store because the Western Union service is free there.
CM
OK, I sent my information to Aleks Korogod, who does live in Canada, so I agree it is possible. But it seems unlikely that some thing like that would go undetected in Russia.
Who are the other two "three amigos" please?
Thanks,
CM
This board is supposed facilitate informed investing (or gambling) by providing a forum to exchange DD and opinions.
I really don't understand the need for a company run board. The company should use the company website for investor relations and include a blog option, which they could control exclusively. But then no one would have anything to complain about, so this is more fun.
CM
DOS,
I’m not sure who the three amigos are (maybe I should be), but the wire I got originated in Russia so I don’t know how anyone from Canada or USA would be able to skim anything off.
Also please tell me who the three amigos are and why it appears this has been happening. I am a member of the other board but have abandoned it long ago. That really has nothing to do with Buddy; I just don’t like the format at all.
If you wish to elaborate privately my email is m.juetter@yahoo.com.
Thanks,
CM
I didn't notice that they left that .008 news on the site. Bad choice it seems.
CM
You are not an ass, just a cynic. I rarely post here and have never posted on the other board. Therefore, I didn't expect a dividend either, but I got it. Also you don't have to read the boards to nkow about the dividend procedure, but you do have to check their web site.
I can speak from experience and say you don't have to trust the company to get your dividend.
CM
I sent the e-mail to the address given on Aurus' web site. I don't remember what that is.
I sent a screen print of my Scottrade account history and current holdings for only AURC stock.
I gave them my Scottrade account number (no password) and my local Scottrade office's contact info.
I gave them my e-mail address.
I gave the contact info of the Western Union I wanted my dividend sent to.
CM
The return address is Auruscorp@gmail.com. The email reads:
Dear shareholder!
Inform us on reception of dividends on this e-mail or at company forum. Thanks.
Best regards.
Management Aurus Corp.
There is an attachment which is named my legal name followed by several Russian charaters. The attachment is a JPEG and appears to be a legal document with a notary type stamp. Most of this document is in Russian. My name and address and Mast-Bank Kosyakova, 12 Roshal 14073 is all I can read without translation. It is a full page.
Hopefully I can get to WU today and I will post what happens.
