I was just telling a friend why I love this stock. Because of the big moves it makes but this far exceeds my expectations.
gonna take a few chips off the table... over $3 is looking like a nice flip.
yes it is and it looked strong into close.
1.25 - 1.50s
Good trades dave
No way anyone including Saudi will let oil get that low. $95 oil by June/July. Invest time is now IMO
When oil is trading between $30-40 / BBL it'll be time to look at ZAZA.
There is only 100 years of oil left. Does anyone really think oil will not move up faster than it moved down early next year. What a opportunity the does not come along very often. I'm all in!
For the next 6-7 months the short play is very safe simply based on the glut in the market. If oil hits $35-40 then every oil producing nation is in big trouble (high inflation and maybe civil unrest).
Start looking at oil services (I've been watching SDR*, RI*) for acquisition and especially rig counts.
Also new independents will form by acquiring currently unprofitable entities for pennies on the dollar (will reduce per BBL production costs).
If gold goes back to its traditional link to oil, should see $3/400 / ounce. It's been in a decade-long bubble that's still popping.
it makes more sense to sell oil equities and just play the futures market during the next reflation cycle. boring near term; lucrative later.
$35-40 should be the bottom. Saudi Arabia just gave everyone the green light to short all US oil.
yeah, i doubt any of these little oilcos are going to survive with crude trading at 68.51 a barrel.
i guess 74$ was not the bottom.
As long as one is prepared for 17% losses until ZAZA hits $2.50 that's all that matters. Can re-evaluate then if the stock will touch the next support at $2.
yes, i'm just going negative and hoping a lot of people sell the bottom before it bounces. we'll see what happens.
"reflooding". i love that word. like a toxic swamp.
Next stop: $ZAZA $2.50
Remember $ZAZA just R/S and already started the O/S reflood process.
but wait -- what if the CT Order was for something super-bullish?!
what about all the cash ZAZA recently put on their balance sheet?!
the only way to make 100% sure-fire money on this play would be if ZAZA could take a loan out with ironridge, and short the shit out of its own ticker, via offshore accounts, while getting a gigantic, FINRA-APPROVED reverse split.
that would be the only guaranteed win, unfortunately.
and not everyone can swing a deal like that.
ZAZA will go a lot lower than its current price point.
yeah, too bad for those still holding, huh?
nobody gives a crap about ZAZA.
screw the oil patch for another year or two.
dead money.
It's a maybe. Reality is that oil bottomed around $74 and the stable base for many projects (Canadian Sands for example) is closer to $80. It's in everyone's interest to cooperate, but how it plays out on an individual company level is another story.
Thanks MDimport. Been accumulating around 3. I think any decrease in production will shoot it higher.
Oil is already at a bottom. What OPEC decides won't be the factor moving ZAZA higher or lower in the short term.
Good buy imo. I have a 2,8 order in. But no prob, let see some green today.
I would say everything under 3 is ok. I will start adding at 2,75.
lemme know when you think it's a good time to load again.
i will defer to your wisdom.
cheers!
good thing i got out.
oh, this isn't an ironridge play...
never mind.
lol
i think someone should list ZAZA on the berlin exchange, and get a bunch of goons to pound it down to pennies a share.
then wait for that TX tea to start flowin', and...
weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!
oh, no, this one is going to 1.65 again, maybe even lower. so it's best to sell that bottom before it runs to $10 or so.
what a POFS!
this POFS made me RICH!
It's still a little early for tax loss harvesting, but I believe $2.50 range will be available to the patient in late December. At least this one has real operations and a Bid
folks should start selling for a tax loss in 2014 before ZAZA runs hard in the new year.
Short-term ZAZA may move lower simply because the market needs to see confirmation in subsequent quarters. If those hold up, then there will be a pop in 2015 IMO.
Oil seems to have bottomed, so the E&P companies (OTC, NASD or whatever) can start to be considered buys sometime between now and mid-January 2015.
Otherwise ZAZA had very good earnings-per-share.
OIL UP .65 A BARREL.
oops, let me amend that: .70 A BARREL.
MID-EAST READY TO GO TO WAR.
PROBABLY NOT A GOOD TIME TO BE SHORTING DOMESTIC OILCOs.
for a nickel a share or so...
if you read what you posted here, you'll see it's all very bullish.
keep in mind the company posted earnings per share of nearly a dollar... and these notes are convertible august 1, 2017.
their oil production has been increasing steadily.
where do you suppose we'll be at in another 3 years?
LOL
oh, and what's the conversion rate? 40 shares per 1,000 dollars.
do the math on that.
LOLOL
i'll give you a hint: the warrants can be exercised at $18.48 per share.
WOW.
then -- check this out -- the rest of this stock may be issued to... insiders. in exchange for subordinated notes due... 2017.
sweeeet!!!
so thanks for posting. you've made a very bullish case for ZAZA.
i am sure the 19 people who follow this board will tank the stock as they dump out of fear. LOL
