After 2 Grocery Chains Pull Patriotic ‘Made in USA’ Items – Americans Want Them to ‘Get Woke, Go Broke’
June 27, 2022
by The Times Of America
What’s Happening:
Two grocery store chains are facing the hot seat after bowing to the ‘woke’ mob.
Apparently, a Karen was upset that these stores were selling patriotic-themed clothing. These were products that were made in America, employing American workers.
The companies quickly caved to these sparse complaints. And now, Americans are striking back.
From Fox Business:
A customer took to Twitter Monday to complain about Harris Teeter selling some pro-America items — that read “Give me liberty or give me death” and “America, love it or leave it” — saying they were insensitive as mass shooting incidents happen around the country…
Harris Teeter responded by thanking the customer and telling her they would be discontinuing the “Freedom Series” items…
“Are you serious? This is a stupid response. Not shopping at Kroger anymore for being anti-American,” one Twitter user said…
One Twitter user pointed out Harris Teeter still markets Chicago-style pizza, despite the city’s gun violence.
After a few people tried to shame Harris Teeter and Kroger for selling pro-America merchandise, the chains pulled those products.
The products, including shirts and can sleeves, featured patriotic and pro-Second Amendment slogans. They were also made in America.
But because a few woke, fragile snowflakes complained, the cowardly executives insulted millions of customers by taking these off the shelves.
Patriotic Americans quickly chimed in, making sure the companies knew they would no longer support these stores over these decisions.
Some mocked the reasoning of these woke snowflakes. One person wanted Second Amendment content removed because “110 Americans die every day from gun violence.”
Not sure if those numbers are even accurate. But Kroger caved. So, patriots reminded the store that “102 people die per day in traffic fatalities. Can you also please make sure no coozies depict cars?”
Another person told reminded Harris Teeter that they still sell Chicago-style pizza. And that city has the highest rates of gun crime. Why didn’t they take those products down?
Users online reminded these companies that when you “go woke,” you often “go broke.” Companies continue to cave to a shockingly small number of “woke” leftists.
Meanwhile, they ignore the millions of patriotic Americans. Americans, mind you, who spend plenty of money at their stores.
But not anymore.
Key Takeaways:
Two grocery store chains removed patriotic and Second Amendment products from their stories.
They did this after a few people complained online.
Many more bashed the companies, warning them that they might lose business.

Kunstler: The Time of Our Time
By James Howard Kunstler
June 27, 2022
Let’s face it: most people will not read Justice Alito’s carefully crafted arguments about what the constitution says or doesn’t say about abortion, or the meaning of “ordered liberty” through our history. We do not live in history. We live in the time of our time. And, until just recently, this has been a time that discarded former modes of conduct between men, women, and children as inconvenient to the presumably greater project of self-actualization.
To be-all-that-you-can-be is a stirring notion, and it seemed to work nicely within the colossal techno-industrial armature of the past century, with all its inducements to thrive personally, at least for the comfortable elites who pulled the levers of that system — though not so much for those below caught in the gears, who produced children despite all the novel means for avoiding it. For the fortunate, motherhood became just another “no” box to check off, while fatherhood merged into the odious mists of obsolete patriarchy. History is made up of things that seem like good ideas at the time. The hard part now is moving out of a familiar time into the undiscovered country of a new time.
The support system for all that is going, going, gone and in the ensuing flux all that rousing self-actualization starts to look more like Thomas Hobbes’s war of all against all, a savage and pre-human state of nature. As this occurs, all human beings have to fall back on are modes of conduct that include a moral and ethical dimension, which is to say, what is right and what is wrong, not just what is allowed at a given moment.
Which is also to say: maybe the time of smashing boundaries is over. As that scaffold of techno-industrial comfort and safety disintegrates, and all the dazzling promises of becoming transhuman dissolve — sorry, Klaus Schwab — we will likely have to settle for being human again, and in the best way, not the worst way. That includes a certain reverence for our nature and for each other. That suggests not killing children.
These days, this place on the planet that used to be a nation groans under a tribulation of bad ideas, bad choices, bad conduct, bad management, and bad faith. We have not been so ripe for regime change since 1776. A ruling Party of Chaos is doing absolutely everything to disorder our lives and there really is no generous interpretation for its motives. Everything it touches breaks, wilts, withers, splinters, rots, poisons, and infects the body politic, driving it deeper into derangement. It doesn’t even pretend to make sense because that would require making distinctions between what is true and what’s not true. We follow-the-science into pure evil.
What awaits is the abandond scaffold of the family and the community as opposed to the brute hierarchies of mere lonely, forsaken persons under the leviathan state and the behemoth corporation, which have produced mainly new kinds of cruelties, such as: the deadly “vaccine” mandates, the no-knock FBI visitations, the surveillance cameras, the robotic phone trees with their interminable holds, the obtuse insults of the HR departments, the drag queens twerking in your childrens’ faces, and much more. You might not know it from the news — what is the news now, anyway, except mercenary shuck-and-jive — but these giant governments and corporations are thrashing in their death throes. Get out of their way if you possibly can. Form the bonds you can with people and cherish them. For many, they will be all you’ll have for a while.
You can’t overstate the havoc that we’ll have to live with in the months ahead, short of blowing up the whole joint, one can hope. And it will happen just as a gigantic set of pretenses to a New Order of things rolls out to thumping failure. Forget about central bank digital currencies. Don’t believe that the very people who have severed the relationship between actual capital and money can just magically conjure a new order of money that they propose to control and you don’t. Meanwhile, the old-school money they created too much of is headed for biggest gaping black hole imaginable because that’s what happens when money based on debt is not paid back. So, for a while, there will be too much money and then there will be not enough, and then nobody will have money.
All that happens as the supply of every kind of stuff in the world stops moving from Point A to Point B, including replacement parts for every sort of machine, distribution of petroleum and its products, and food. And at the same time, it finally becomes too obvious to ignore the fact that many millions are dying or becoming disabled from the effects of the mRNA vaccines foisted on the public, especially in the USA and Europe.
Out of all that suffering will eventually come a new respect for human life and reconstructed relations between men and women, with all the abstruse ambiguities, pretensions, and nebulosities about sex put aside for some future age of decadence. It won’t require further agonizing reappraisals by any high courts to figure it out. Children are the consequence of sex. Children are required to carry on the human project.

Soft-On-Crime California Releases Drug Traffickers Who Carried 150,000 Fentanyl Pills Into The U.S.
By Michael Robison
Published June 28, 2022 at 8:30am
A pair of suspects allegedly carrying 150,000 fentanyl pills, enough to potentially kill several million people, were arrested Friday during a traffic stop in south-central California but have since been released without bail.
Officials said that local police officers discovered 150,000 fentanyl pills in a car during a traffic stop in Central California on Friday. The drug stash is worth an estimated $750,000.
Tulare County High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area Unit investigators were called at about 7:30 p.m. to the area of Highway 99 and Tulare Avenue in Tulare to help California Highway Patrol officers with the stop, according to the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office.
Detectives said 150 packages containing 1,000 fentanyl pills were hidden inside their vehicle.
The suspects were identified as 25-year-old Jose Zendejas and 19-year-old Benito Madrigal, both of Washington state. No details were immediately available about where the men obtained the drugs or where they were heading.
Zendejas and Madrigal were arrested on charges of possession, transportation, and sales of illegal drugs. They were booked at the Tulare County Pre-Trial Facility.
According to a Facebook post, the Tulare County Sheriff announced the two suspects had been released without bail by court order.
“All inmates booked into Tulare County jails are sent through what is known as the Risk Assessment Process through the Tulare County Probation Department. That “Risk Assessment” is then sent to a judge with the court, who, then, determines whether or not the individual arrested is held on bail or if they are to be released.”
The Tulare County Sheriff’s Office said they have “received a court order releasing both suspects from custody on their own recognizance.”
The department noted that Sheriff Boudreaux “strongly disagrees with the release of these individuals as a matter of public safety, the court order release must be followed.”
Once again, California’s soft-on-crime approach has released criminals without any consequence. In this instance, individuals tied to one of the most deadly drug epidemics in the nation have been released and are back on the streets.
Fentanyl is a synthetic opioid that “is approximately 100 times more potent than morphine and 50 times more potent than heroin as an analgesic,” according to the Department of Justice’s Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).

NYPD Quit In Record Numbers
byStaff Writer
June 23, 2022
New York City Mayor Eric Adams, himself a former Police Captain, swept into office on a pledge to re-fund the cops, support the thin blue line, and get the violent criminal offense statistics under control. He selected brand-new, experienced leadership to head up the NYPD and worked to get the police spending plan increased right away.
And he has actually consistently called out the judges and district attorneys who let the work of the cops go to waste with soft-on-crime sentencing standards. In an environment like that, you might most likely anticipate seeing morale increasing and more officers signing up with the force. But a stunning report this week reveals that the reverse has actually been taking place for the very first 5 months of this year. The NYPD was currently losing officers at a disconcerting rate in 2020 and 2021, however, the resignation and retirement rates have in fact continued to increase at a worrying speed in 2022. (NY Post).
“More than 1,500 NYPD officers have either resigned or retired so far this year – on pace to be the biggest exodus of officers since the statistics have been available, The Post has learned.
Some 524 cops have resigned and 1,072 have retired as of May 31, NYPD pension stats obtained by The Post show.
The 1,596 total is a 38% spike from the same period in 2021, when 1,159 cops called it a career, and a staggering 46% climb from 2020, when 1,092 left the force by the same date.”
Exit interviews with the leaving officers continue to show 3 typical aspects mentioned for these departures. Anti-cop hostility, bail reform, and increasing criminal offense rates are the typical styles. And while development has actually definitely been made, it plainly hasn’t sufficed for a few of the men and females on the force. For others, their strategies had actually been set in motion prior to Adams taking office and their departure was currently set in stone.
One police officer who left Queens for a brand-new gig out on Long Island spoke with the Post on the underlying reasons. He too mentioned the brand-new bail reform laws as one of the main factors he left, stating that even when he had the ability to detain somebody, they were “back in the precinct picking up their property the same day.” He stated that the mantra amongst his fellow officers has actually been “get out while you can.”
There are still practically 2,500 less NYPD officers today than there were in 2019. More than a few of them made the exact same choice as the officer quoted above and relocated to Long Island. They mention being dealt with “more like a human being” and having a much better lifestyle. That should not come as a surprise. Long Island is where voters in the 2021 elections rejected Democrats who supported bail reform in favor of Republicans who pledged to rescind it.
Many of the officers leaving mentioned the “constant abuse from the City Council.” It’s a matter that has been widely reported among conservative media outlets and it’s an indication that Mayor Adams can’t do this on his own. If the Council continues to weaken his efforts and press an anti-police program and if the district attorneys and the courts will not prosecute criminals, there is just a lot he can do. Just voting out the Mayor was never ever going to solve this problem. If the citizens truly desire change, they’re going to have to ‘clean house’ on the Council and vote out a few of the District Attorneys like Alvin Bragg who design themselves after Chesa Boudin. This November may provide a chance to do that and the general public needs to see some primary oppositions on the ballot who in fact wish to make things much better and not simply pay lip service while embracing the BLM program.

Pelosi's Response About Pushing Mayra Flores' Daughter Makes It Worse
By Nick Arama | Jun 27, 2022 5:15 PM ET
We reported how during the photo op for the swearing-in of Rep. Mayra Flores (R-TX), that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi appeared to shove Flores’ young daughter, giving her an elbow to the side. But the move was caught and widely shared on Twitter.
Then Mayra Flores responded and confirmed that indeed, her daughter had been pushed.
I am so proud of my strong, beautiful daughter for not allowing this to faze her. She continued to smile and pose for the picture like a Queen.
No child should be pushed to the side for a photo op. PERIOD!! https://t.co/TA50EntDoq
— Mayra Flores For Congress ?????? (@MayraFlores2022) June 27, 2022
Flores praised her daughter for not letting it phase her and standing her ground, but noted that no one should be pushed for a photo op, in a pointed message to Pelosi.
So, I was curious as to what Nancy Pelosi would ultimately say about the whole situation. But the response from her spokesperson and deputy chief of staff, Drew Hamill was just so lame and unbelievable, it’s almost like he didn’t even bother to look at the video or he completely disregarded what Flores said. I thought Pelosi might deny it, but Hammill essentially admitted that Pelosi had pushed the child; he gave the explanation that she was trying to push her to make sure that the child got into the picture.
It’s sad to see “news outlets” that know better misrepresent the Speaker’s effort to ensure Rep. Flores’ daughters wouldn’t be hidden behind her in all of the photos of such an important moment for their family. https://t.co/Dm0oXtwF7V pic.twitter.com/KDyI4MfaOj
— Drew Hammill (@Drew_Hammill) June 27, 2022
So, I have a few issues with this explanation. First, by shoving her to the side, she’s pushing her further out of the picture. If you wanted to make sure she got in the picture, you might say, “Honey, move in the front so you can get in the picture.” Not shove her. Yet, the girl wasn’t behind her, so the explanation doesn’t make a lot of sense.
Second, why is she touching the child at all, much less with a rude elbow shove? She seems to think she’s just entitled to touch the child much less give her a shove. Since when?
What happened to the Democrats’ claims about “bodily autonomy”? This doesn’t look like Pelosi was respecting the child’s bodily autonomy or looking out for the “children, children, children,” as Pelosi always claims. The explanation goes to a deeper point here–that Pelosi thinks she’s entitled to do what she wants.
Notice what’s missing in all this ‘explanation’ from Hammill as well: an apology. Both Flores and the child know you shoved her. If you thought you were doing it for some higher purpose (I don’t believe you), but where’s the apology to smooth over the situation? Even a “well, that wasn’t what was meant, but we’re sorry it was taken that way.” They didn’t even go that far, at least not in the response from Hammill on Twitter. Instead, Hammill attacks Fox News and others for daring to report on it. It isn’t Fox making it up; the video shows what happened and Flores confirmed it. But Hammill shows how they spin to attack– even now–anyone who just reports what occurred. Talk about gaslighting.
Hammill was ratioed into next week on Twitter. Safe to say, virtually no one believed him.
“The children, the children, the children”.. said Nancy Pelosi at least a million times !! Clearly a shove, Drew. You’re doing what the Democrats do.. lie when all else fails. https://t.co/aNQ876HPpK

Pelosi could just apologize and then everyone would move on.

Flores’ win in a historically Democratic district is a harbinger of the wave to come in November, and maybe that’s what was on Nancy’s mind. Pelosi got a message from that little girl that she was going to stand in there. She’s going to get another message from voters, come November.

Merrick Garland’s Department Of Justice Is A Threat To The Republic
By: John Daniel Davidson
June 24, 2022
Federal raids this week, along with an inappropriate statement about a SCOTUS ruling, underscore the weaponization of the DOJ under Garland.
John Daniel Davidson
It’s become painfully obvious over the past year that the Justice Department under Attorney General Merrick Garland has been weaponized and politicized to the point that it represents an active threat to the rule of law and the separation of powers. It’s not too much to say that Garland’s DOJ has become a threat to the republic.
Just take this past week. On Thursday, following an historic 6-3 U.S. Supreme Court ruling that struck down a New York law for violating state residents’ Second Amendment rights, a DOJ spokeswoman released a statement saying “we respectfully disagree” with the ruling.
The ruling is of course a great victory for the Constitution and a long-overdue vindication of New Yorkers’ Second Amendment rights. The law in question had been on the books for more than a century, and made it nearly impossible for ordinary people to obtain a concealed-carry license, The unconstitutional law forced New Yorkers to prove to a municipal bureaucrat that they needed a gun for self-defense. In practice, this made it almost impossible for law-abiding citizens in New York to exercise their constitutional right to bear arms.
But neither the law in question nor the Supreme Court’s decision implicates federal gun laws in any way. There is no reason for the DOJ to weigh in on the matter or express any opinion whatsoever on the ruling. Only an utterly politicized Justice Department hoping to undermine the Supreme Court’s constitutional authority and sow the seeds of nullification would issue such a statement.
But that’s not nearly the worst thing Garland’s DOJ did this week. In the pre-dawn hours of Wednesday morning, more than a dozen federal investigators raided the home of Jeffrey Clark, a former Justice Department official with the Trump administration. Why? Because Clark had the temerity to investigate claims of voter fraud during the 2020 election.
That made Clark a target for the House Democrats’ Jan. 6 committee, whose Soviet-style show trial spent a good deal of time Wednesday implying that Clark, who once oversaw 1,400 lawyers and two divisions at DOJ, is traitor who tried to overturn the results of the election.
This should come as no surprise, since the entire raison d’être of the Jan. 6 committee is to smear anyone who questioned the outcome of the election or raised concerns about its unprecedented irregularities as a coup-plotter responsible for the Jan. 6 “insurrection.” In fact, Clark’s only crime is that in a sea of attorneys who didn’t want to lift a finger to investigate the election, he looked for options and fought to uncover the truth.
Of course, he’s not the only one the DOJ targeted this week. The same day Clark’s house was raided, FBI agents raided the home of Michael McDonald, Nevada’s top GOP official.
His crime, according to the Justice Department and the Jan. 6 committee, was signing a document with five other Nevada Republican Party electors after the 2020 election signaling their support for Trump. Among the signatories of the purely symbolic document was state GOP secretary James DeGraffenreid, whom FBI agents tried but failed to find on Wednesday.
These are just a few of the people against whom the Jan. 6 committee has unleashed Garland’s Justice Department. So far, the committee has subpoenaed more than 100 lawmakers, local officials like McDonald and DeGraffenreid, internet and communications companies, Trump White House officials, and others. Make no mistake: the committee is using the DOJ as a weapon against its political enemies, and Garland is allowing it to happen.
We should have seen this coming. From the outset of his tenure, Garland has betrayed a willingness to use the DOJ as a partisan weapon. There was the raid on Project Veritas founder James O’Keefe’s home last November, and preceding that months of illegal spying on his organization.
Even worse, in some ways, was the unprecedented memo in October designed to threaten and silence parents whose only “crime” was to speak out about the teaching of critical race theory in schools. Garland smeared them as “domestic terrorists” and directed the Department of Justice and the FBI to “launch a series of additional efforts in the coming days designed to address the rise in criminal conduct directed toward school personnel.”
But this “rise in criminal conduct” was pure fiction. Garland got it from a letter sent to President Joe Biden by the National School Boards Association, which made vague and unsubstantiated claims about “threats and acts of violence” against school board members from parents opposed to critical race theory. Less than a week after the letter was sent, Garland’s memo appeared. It was a transparent ploy to get the federal government to intimidate parents into silence and suppress their First Amendment rights, which Garland was happy to do.
At every turn, Garland has shown himself hostile to the Bill of Rights and to law-abiding Americans who exercise those rights, and beholden to Democrat partisans and left-wing advocacy groups. He has brazenly allowed political influence to direct the Justice Department’s considerable powers.
If you think Garland’s DOJ isn’t a threat to the republic, then you need to start paying attention, because the weaponization of federal law enforcement under Biden and Garland is almost certainly going to get much worse.

Your last sentence is the tell.
Question is, are we the only life in a universe so large that distance is measured by time? Perhaps no one knows and also perhaps some do know and won't share.

Desperate far-left PAC fails miserably at trying to smear Rep. Lauren Boebert, accuses her of being an escort and having abortions
Just an update...............al
Posted by: Jim Patrick|June 26, 2022
WASHINGTON, DC- The Democrats have a number of conservatives they are targeting with false information ahead of the November mid-terms because they are clearly afraid of them being seated in the majority.
Even CNN has been forced to “fact-check” some of the allegations made, in this case against Colorado Rep. Lauren Boebert (R).
According to CNN, a Democratic Party-aligned super PAC has made a number of false claims against Boebert, including unproven allegations that she has previously had abortions as well as formerly worked as an escort. Boebert vociferously denies the allegations.
The left-wing super PAC, “American Muckrakers” was forced to acknowledge through co-founder David Wheeler that the group had been “sloppy” (code word for LIED) and had published “inaccuracies” (another code word for LIED) on its website, which specializes in disparaging Boebert. Wheeler however claims to be confident in the “main points of the story,” CNN reported.
Wheeler’s comments came after CNN discovered at least five statements attributed to the group about Boebert, as well as a number of uncorroborated statements the firebrand freshman representative says are false, however which CNN was unable to immediately confirm or debunk.
Among the claims which Wheeler was forced to admit were bogus, in both emails as well as an interview on Thursday, was a photo of a woman posing on a bed which they claimed was a photo of Boebert.
He also admitted they lied when claiming Boebert had failed to disclose a campaign contribution to Boebert’s campaign, they wrongly suggested Cruz had made large contributions to her campaign after she started running in her first primary, lied about a motor vehicle accident Boebert was involved in and also misled the public when it claimed she had an abortion “in the fall of 2004”—which would have been about six months before she gave birth to a son in March 2005.
Wheeler, who had previously run as a state senate candidate in North Carolina, told CNN that the super PAC “needs to be better” in gathering details prior to publishing them. In other words, they need to get their facts straight before publishing inflammatory, misleading and false information about someone.
He indicated some of the PAC’s sources may have had “foggy” memories (code word for LIED) and he said the super PAC would be willing to apologize to Boebert for the “inaccuracies” (code word for LIES) it had published to date.
However he continued to insist, despite assurances that they had gotten much wrong, that they stand by “the major thrust of the information” that was published and went viral on Twitter last week. You know, the so-called “misinformation” we always hear about from leftists.
One of the so-called pieces of information” the super PAC is standing by includes an allegation that Boebert had met escort clients through a page on a “sugar daddy” website—even though the site told CNN there is no record of her ever using it.
Wheeler also stood by the assertion that Boebert has had two abortions, which would seem to contradict her strong anti-abortion stance. Of course the sources were three anonymous “Jane Doe” sources whose names were not published as a basis for those inflammatory claims. It’s unknown if the “Jane Doe” sources were from the far-left “Jane’s Revenge” lunatic pro-abortion group, but the allegations would seem to fit that group of unhinged nuts.
Boebert’s spokesman Ben Stout told CNN the congresswoman has never had a profile on a so-called “sugar daddy” website, had never been an escort, never had an abortion and that basically every claim from Wheeler’s super PAC is a lie.
Boebert, running in a Republican primary to defend her House seat that ends on Tuesday, told the Washington Examiner that the allegations were “completely baseless and disgusting.”
In a statement to CNN Thursday, Stout said:
“Wheeler’s baseless and slanderous claims have been proven wrong time and again with facts and evidence. Congresswoman Boebert has instructed her legal counsel to pursue all legal remedies to stop this outrageous behavior.”
In response to the super PAC’s claims, Boebert sent a letter to Wheeler vowing to file a defamation suit over the claims, which Wheeler says the super PAC are willing to defend in a legal fight.
He does claim however he is “not interested in a lawsuit” and doesn’t believe the number of lies told by the group are defamatory. Wheeler says all the anonymous sources have indicated they are willing to come forward for depositions and/or testimony if Boebert pursues legal action.
Getting involved in pushing defamatory information based on lies is nothing new for the super PAC, co-founded by a retired Air Force colonel and former congressional candidate Moe Davis of North Carolina. Earlier this year, the super PAC revealed unflattering information about another Republican, freshman congressman Madison Cawthorn of North Carolina, who had unseated Davis in 2020.
In that case, the super PAC was able to produce some carefully produced videos and other evidence to bolster claims against Cawthorn, who eventually lost his House primary earlier this year.
https://fundourpolice.com/
Thus far however, they have not released any evidence substantiating their ridiculous claims about Boebert and her personal and medical past. CNN said the material thus far released by Wheeler’s group has proven far from convincing.
For example, one photo the super PAC released which they claim is Boebert posing on a bed in a tight dress is in fact someone else. That woman confirmed to CNN earlier last week that the photo is in fact her and had been posted as a profile on a modeling website.
When CNN confronted Wheeler with that information, h continued to insist he had confirmed “8 times” with an “absolutely confident” source that the photo was indeed Boebert—however later conceded to CNN in a Thursday interview that the photo was indeed not Boebert.
“I will concede that. I think somehow our source mixed that up with something else [clearly]. I don’t know how she mixed it up,” Wheeler said.
That’s easy…she lied.
Last week, the super PAC published the bogus photo as part of a text message transcript whereby the alleged source…”Jane Doe 3”…said the photo was from Boebert’s page on the so-called “sugar daddy” website.
The super PAC removed the photo from its website last week after a number of outlets, including The Daily Beast, said it was not a photo of Boebert. It wasn’t until Wheeler’s Thursday admission, however that he conceded it was indeed not a photo of Boebert.
Indeed, the actual woman in the photo was able to provide CNN with additional evidence proving the photo was definitely her, evidence which included an old hard copy of the photo and another photo of her wearing the same dress, described by CNN as “distinctive.”
Then there is the issue of the alleged abortion. A woman called “Jane Doe 1” told the super PAC she had driven Boebert to and from a clinic “in the fall of 2004” for the purposes of securing an abortion.
However that timeline makes zero sense when one considers that Boebert delivered her son Tyler on March 21, 2005. In other words, it would have been impossible for her to have had an abortion “in the fall of 2004.”
Once Wheeler was provided information on Tyler’s date of birth, he then claimed there must have been a “typo by our social media guy” and the date of the alleged abortion was changed to “the fall of 2005.”
This flies in the face of claims Wheeler’s PAC had made in which they claimed the allegation had been “reviewed” by its source prior to publication. Some review.
There were a couple of other factual errors in addition to the above. One concerned an accident Boebert had allegedly been in which the super PAC said occurred in 2020, however the actual date was 2019. Wheeler said the PAC stands by the rest of its account, however Boebert denies their claims (unaddressed by CNN in the reference material).
Then there is the issue of yet another fake abortion story, which the super PAC claimed occurred in 2009, however that year Boebert gave birth to yet another son. Yet again, Wheeler was forced to admit that “maybe our source had the date wrong.” Clearly. Or the “facts” wrong.
He once again however said he stands by the claims Boebert had abortions and said that is accurate, however Boebert has vehemently denied the allegations.
Then there is the issue of campaign donations allegedly made by Cruz to Boebert’s initial congressional campaign. Wheeler’s super PAC claimed she was introduced to Sen. Cruz by a “wealthy and politically connected escort client” before she ran for Congress in 2019. Wheeler’s group claimed, “When Boebert announced her campaign for Congress in December 2019, Senator Cruz donated at least $136,250.00 to the Boebert Campaign.”
Stout debunks that claim as yet another lie, saying that the congresswoman never had an escort client, and never spoke to Cruz or met the senator until after she won the 2020 primary. CNN reached out to Cruz’s office, however they declined to comment.
Either way, the timing alleged by the super PAC as to the timing of a donation from Cruz’s 20 for 20 Victory Fund is misleading. That Fund saw Cruz back more than 20 Republican House candidates in 2020, donating money to Boebert’s campaign not during the primary but in the lead up to the November election, in September 2020, two months after she won the Republican nomination.
The super PAC said: “….When Boebert announced her campaign for Congress in December 2019…” it implied that Cruz’s donation came about when she was an obscure candidate running in a party primary, which wasn’t true.
Wheeler was also forced to admit in the Thursday interview with CNN that statement was disingenuous as well:
“I agree that was not an accurate way to put it. It should’ve said ‘subsequently’ or ‘in September’ or ‘the summer of 2020 instead of—yes, it does sound like it was immediate, but it wasn’t until, as you pointed out, ‘til the fall of 2020.”
American Muckrakers also claimed that Boebert hadn’t reported a $70,500 campaign contribution from Cruz, however that too was a lie. The donation was promptly reported in Boebert’s quarterly finance report in October 2020, the month after the contribution was received.
There was correspondence sent to Boebert’s campaign in a November 2020 letter which reminded the campaign that they had not disclosed on another form that the Cruz fund was a “joint fundraising” partner of Boebert’s campaign. That information was subsequently added to information on another form. However the FEC acknowledged that the Boebert campaign had disclosed contributions it received from the Cruz 20 for 20 fund.
Once again, Wheeler was forced to admit that the super PAC had lied once again about Boebert’s alleged failure to report the Cruz contribution. “I’ll concede that point as well,” he said.
CNN said Wheeler told them what the PAC was “very haphazardly or sloppily” “trying to intimate was that it’s very odd for a freshman, or a first-time candidate in a congressional election, to get $136,000 from a sitting member or sitting senator.”
However Cruz’s donation to Boebert wasn’t unique. He donated over $136,000 the same month he made the Boebert donation to Burgess Owens of Utah, plus over $132,000 to first-timer Troy Nehls of Texas, and over $117,000 to first-timer Wesley Hunt of Texas, according to public filings.
Finally, a representative of the “sugar daddy” website, SugarDaddyMeet.com, backs up Boebert’s claim that she never used the site. In an email to CNN, they said an internal search of their records found “no record of Congresswoman Boebert using this website.”
Wheeler claims evidence exists with “Jane Doe 3” allegedly having images of Boebert’s old profile and says he has seen the images. He said he does not, however, possess them himself therefore couldn’t provide them to CNN. He also acknowledged “Jane Doe 3” was the same source who falsely claimed the picture of a woman in a slinky dress sitting on bed was Boebert.
When asked by CNN if he was sure the woman in the SugarDaddyMeet page was indeed Boebert, Wheeler hedged.
“Well, it’s a picture that I’ve seen before, but I didn’t verify that was her picture.”
Yeah, right. Wheeler claims he is relying on his “sources” (such as the clearly confused “Jane Doe 3”) who had allegedly seen Boebert’s profile on that page in the past.
Boebert’s spokesman Stout claimed repeatedly the congresswoman has never had a profile on that site.
Nice try, folks.

It is Your Economy .. yours, mine, our family, friends and neighbors -- EVERYONE to some degree is touched by the markets and their behavior. So we should be aware of the various mechanisms that make the markets and our economy tick. We live in a new era where politics, rumor, weather and just about anything you can think of effects the markets and our economy in some way, shape or form. Like it or not we are globally tied at the hip and in this new era where the advent of technology and the internet pushes information to the edge of the envelope, we can only hope to keep up with the many challenges ahead and the speed at which they develop. Technology is a double-edged sword and unfortunately can be used for good as well as evil, it just depends on who is holding the sword. This board was created to follow news, markets, stocks, cycles, trends, indicators and most of all to communicate and share ideas. Humor and Cartoons are welcome here, it breaks up the monotony from time to time and I am alays game for a good joke. I enjoy data mining, especially for info that the MSM (Main Stream Media) fail to or are not allowed to report. We must see things from all angles and aspects in order to verify what is true and what is false, basically becoming more atune to separating the wheat from the chaff. Hopefully in the long run this will help us all to make better and more sound decisions. This board is/was basically an information board, but all are welcome to post, (actually I encourage it because looking through another's eyes gives more perspective on issues). We can never learn too much about these ever changing times and the economy at hand.
* I have only a couple of rules and that is if you should post; NO PURE POLITICS or RELIGION and as always expected, please PLAY NICE !!!
>>>
>>>
NOTE: What is meant by "pure politics" as stated in this boards' iBox decriptiion is just that.., it has no real ties to the economy and is mainly a composition of political innuendo. As I assume most of you know, it is difficult at times to separate politics from the economy due to the fact that politics plays a very large part in our everyday lives; be it on an economical, personal or other level altogether. Therefore this has created problems in the discernment of which posts should stay or go due to their leaning too far toward the political side and are slight on economic issues. As hard as my assistants and I try, we cannot please everyone. But we do what we do and want to be fair, we do want what should stay as part of this forums curricular. Everyone has an opinion and/or wants to be heard and I will do whatever I can to help ensure that is what takes place and hopefully most will not feel as though they are being targeted or alienated.
In the end all I can ask is that you be patient if a post of yours has been deleted, yet it has economic undertones that state otherwise and you feel should remain. If you feel you have been wronged - relax, sit back and PM me and I will make a final judgement. I am rather liberal, therefore more times than not I most likely will restore your post if it has merit and/or fallen between the cracks. Things happen or are interpreted differently and sometimes incorrectly, we are human. So do NOT throw a hissy fit nor become a foul mouth fool. Also PM harassment is frowned upon and should carry a level of disciplinary action, but I will leave that up to iHub Admin. Besides all that life is too precious to spend in a tirade. These types of behavior will get you no where except a closer view of the exit.. Treat people as you would like to be treated and we can work through most issues. It all starts with civil dialogue, respect for another's opinion even if not agreed upon. An agreement to disagree is the way I like to see things conclude when minds cannot meld. Just because an agreement cannot be reached does not mean we automatically have to trash another for their views and/or opinions. Let's face it, we all want better, we all want to be part of something bigger than ourselves and we all want to gain an edge in the game of life. This cannot be accomplished without an open mind and a certain level of tolerance for all that speak out.
As a matter of fact I encourage as many of you as possible to post, even if it is just once a month. You don't have to take the world by storm, it could be about something as simple as a neighborhood observation such as more homes up for sale than in months past or how empty the parking lots are at a traditionally known hot spot. Post an article or commentary that hits close to home, test the waters and see if others have seen similar events around the country. We have at our fingertips virtually 100s of libraries of information and cyber chat connections we can use to find out how different aspects of the economy are doing all around the nation. I truly believe we all have a lot to contribute and share and while we all will never see eye to eye on every subject or then again maybe none at all, but different points of view may enhance our own outlook or the way we see and do things. Right or wrong, the world is constantly evolving and technology will begin to pick up speed by leaps and bounds So we could serve each other better if we take what is posted for face value instead of an opportunity to lambaste someone that sees things in a different light than our own preconditioned mindset. When opposing views are met with hostile impositions it is of no service to anyone. I certainly would not want a cult following or a bunch of "yes" men setting the tone for this forum, I want diversity !!! Variety is the spice of life !!! You cannot expand your horizons if you automatically shut down and feel as though you have it all figured out. I got news for you, you don't and you won't until you are lying on your death bed. I do not care who you are or how worldly and educated you may be, we never stop learning unless we hold ourselves back with preconceived notions. Knowledge IS Power...
AND if you should feel the need to post on an otherwise different, yet similar stage:
Your Economy OT - Conspiracy, Politics, Religion, Terrorism, War (whatever else you can think of) (YE2OT)
It's open and ready for business. Over there you can post whatever you like to your hearts content, especially political/economic articles and commentary that does not quite fit in at YE1. So now you have 2 boards - One for economics, markets, trends, data, news, commentary, etc. - a more serious site for those who want the straight dope. And now the YE2OT board for everything else. I will play Moderator, but I am taking applications for an assistant who would control 90%+ of the interaction over there.
If people choose, they can travel between boards if they need a fix of some controlled chaos at YE2OT and then want some cold hard facts as (YE1) was intended.
I want everyone to have a voice, now you have a choice .. enjoy
