I know it just started trading as I read the only PR that shows up under the ticker from 10/1. But from that PR this disturbs me:
"corporate growth which will help provide ongoing liquidity and enhanced access to financial markets"
liquidity - that is the key word. It is not nice to invest in a stock that has so little volume because it isn't really liquid. IMHO if there is little to no demand and in this poor market, with a little bit of bad news - well ouch.
Catch my drift?
Say you never really answered my question before. By replying with:
"Of course I have a financial interest"
you skirted the issue. Does YAKC compensate you?
As always thanks, and if you find the questions too direct or hard, let me know.

Hello The Original dpb5...
Steve Collins is the name my parents gave me...
Steve Cunningham is the name worm06 gave me...
I am sure you get the point!
Good Luck
Steve Collins?
For the longest of time you've been known as Steve Cunningham!
Has your name changed recently? If not, do you have half a clue who the infamous Steve Cunningham IS?
That dude used to be hated on RB, as though he was an inside of all things "ZWEBNER".
But you say you are Steve Collins, and not Steve Cunningham. So if you ARE Steve Collins then just who IS Steve Cunningham?
I await your reply.
Hello ggraessle
Of course I have a financial interest, but by all means, I encourage you to do your own DD.
I recognize that a full and fair discussion of the merits of the Company and its stock is essential and I invite full discussion of YAKC and its activities on this board.
I also recognize that some posters will disagree with my view of the Company’s future and its prospects and will try any means necessary to accuse me of posting insider information or being an employee because I am positive on this stock.
That is why I encourage posters to 'do their own DD' and 'take responsibility for their own investment decisions'.
Unfortunatly, there is a group of known bashers that have been unjustly harrasing the Zwebners, myself and a few others for years, mostly out of retaliation because of the Zwebner -vs- the_worm06/Johndoes.org basher lawsuits, but it started way before that.
I quote It is common for these bashers to claim their disinterest in the company or its stock while spending hour upon hour researching and posting. It is simply unreasonable to assume that a person whose day consists of posting and responding to posts has no financial interest in the company or the outcome of the posts. The very fact of their excessive presence on a given thread suggests that these bashers are uncommonly interested in the stock price, not that they are freelance monitors of the investing public’s general good.
I do take caution though with those that post under aliases and assumed names. I and many others are of the belief that if you need to hide your identity, then your motives are invariably questionable.
Good Luck
Steve Collins
Scu - I would hope you do not post inside information for the obvious reasons and I was not implying one way or the other.
I am new to Yak and conducting DD, hence, my question. IMHO knowing the source of information is as important as the information.
Now do I take your response to mean that you do in some capacity either work for the company, is compensated by the company and or represent the company?
And I ask this for a simple reason. If you are compensated or represent the company, I wouldn't expect you to project anything negative and I would expect that you would at least attempt to place a positive spin on comments, regardless of their nature.
Hence, I look forward to your reply before proceding further.
Thank you,
Have a great evening yourself.
GG

Hello ggraessle
Just to let you know that I have NOT posted any insider information. All the the information I have provided is publicly available to all interested parties.
Have a great evening.

Quick question scu8452
When you say "we" as in:
"we are showing good earnings" and "we have projected growth"
are you speaking on behalf of the company or just as an "assimilated" shareholder?
Thank you.

"Oh...Ok...I understand...good luck in your investment"
Yak is also the largest of three dial-around companies in Canada, and it recently expanded in British Columbia and Alberta with the signing of a $100-million deal with Telus Corp. of Burnaby, B.C.
It also is growing in the United States.

Sorry worm.. YAKC is a profitable company that is in a 'high growth' phase.
It has shown a history of strong and consistent profit margins, and we are showing good earnings per share growth.
YAKC has beat it's own earnings estimates on a quarterly basis over the past five quarters.
I think YAKC can offer basic value over the next three to five year period and we have projected growth of at least 18% if not more for the current fiscal year."

Oh...Ok...I understand...good luck in your investment....
and by the way....
CARE TO TELL US ABOUT THE PAYMENTS THAT HAVE BEEN MADE TO CERTAIN "RELATED ENTITIES"?
THIS INFORMATION CAN BE FOUND IN THE LATEST SEC FILING BY YAKC.
the_worm06
Also worm
Please tell us WHEN Yak borrowed about $500,000?
was that before five consecutive quarters of profitability?

TVCP was no where as fundamentally sound
as YAK is, nor did they have the same customer base. Plus TVCP never had five consecutive quarters of profitability
(wink wink)
TVCP was a 'pet project' that never really took off!
It had good potential, but the market was not ready for Videophones. Even I knew that TVCP's stock would crash. That is why I sold when I did.
Good Luck"
----------
1. Yak is currently using a very expensive "Factor" for it's accounts receivable financing. Fundamentally sound companies do not use expensive Factors for their financing.
2. Yak was forced to "borrow" about $500,000 by using TVCP Toronto property as collateral. Fundamentally sound companies do not finance themselves in this way.
3. The Zwebner's, Charles and Michael, are involved with Yak. There are no entities that are "fundamentally sound" that have these two characters involved.
4. Alexander Walker's Nevada Agency & Trust is the transfer agent for Yak. It is currently being investigated by the SEC...this is public knowledge.
MY YAKC STOCK PRICE PROJECTION REMAINS:
FIVE CENTS

YAKC STOCK PRICE PREDICTION by the_worm06:
FIVE CENTS

The strategic alliance between YAKC and TELUS will also give us infrastructure needed to be successful in providing customers with premium long distance services. That also allows YAKC to expand It's services.

ggraessle don't forget that YAKC had five
consecutive quarters of profitability and 2 of its 'mainly large' competitors are Worldcom and Qwest
Don't forget that YAKC had 356,000 subscribers before we went public and will be expanding throughout the United States now that we have a customer base growing in Las Vegas.
Good Luck

"well they can come back to bite you,"
I basically indicated I see the stock going lower, so I wouldn't buy it now, especially in such a weak Telecommunications market. In reading your comment, it appears you more or less see it going lower as well, other wise you wouldn't have stated what you did. Yes, I know "only temporary", well that is the big question and all the parts that come with it. Like how long, how much, etc.
Markets are tricky, but then you know that. This stock could slide below three and then you might be saying "Anyone who does not buy around $2 or below will surely miss the boat" and then $1 etc. etc.
What I'm trying to say is that by making a subjective statement as you did - well they can come back to bite you, you know where. And along with that comes loss of credibility. I'd probably stay away from "hard" numbers and just spout forth direction - up or down, if you must.
Just read this as my 2 cents.

I think the selling pressure is only temporary ..YAKC has 5 quarters of profitability and new customers signing on monthly. You can use all the charting you want but the simple fact remains..The fundamentals of this company are very strong especially being in a hard hit telecommunications market .
Good luck"
---------------
Would you kindly explain to us what fundamentals you are talking about?
thanks
the_worm06
For the first quarter of fiscal 2003, which ended Sept. 30 Yak's revenue is expected to exceed $8 million which would be a 14 per cent increase over the previous quarter.
Good luck
below $3 is better than $3, yes? So are you suggesting that we should short the stock at these levels? Thanks!
Also...Anyone who does not buy around $3 or below will surely miss the boat..(jmo)

YAKC opened for trading today at 3.800. It currently shows an intraday high of 4.000 and a low of 3.800 -a trading range of 5%. The last trade was at 4.000 volume showing 3,900 shares exchanging hands.
A "Price Gap" occurs on a chart as supply outweighs demand. When YAKC is under pressure and sell orders exhaust the quantity of open buy orders within a specific range, those seeking to unload shares must decrease their ask to reach the next point at which buyers are willing to pay. With its most recent open at 3.800, YAKC shows a negative opening gap of greater than 15%. If this move is accompanied by strong relative volume, the stock could be beginning a new downtrend. If there is no news accompanying this price decrease, keep a watchful eye for continued weakness.
The best weapon against "fear" is "facts"!!
HAHAHAHAHA...selling pressure?...grand total of 3900 shares traded ie 1 trade for 2000 shares & 1 for 1900 shares. Price down 20%. 30% spread between bid/ask. ROTF!!! C'mon pumper clown...work harder...
A little bit of selling pressure..may be able to pick up a few shares at these bargain prices before we go back up..
Good Luck

Thanks for your answer.
However, I am a little confused:
Did you post "yes I did" meaning that you read it somewhere or meaning that "yes I did" talk to Charles Zwebner about the information that you posted on Telus?
thanks again,
I hope that you are having a pleasant weekend.
