SmartGateway is the latest iteration of Patriot One’s Gateway patron screening solution. The system was designed for large, ticketed venues to enable high throughput, but customizability based on the customer’s individual needs and security requirements.

“Technologically advanced arenas are looking for the most reliable, accurate and flexible physical security technology to protect patrons and staff, which is why they’re turning to Patriot One,” said Peter Evans, CEO of Patriot One. “Whether it’s setting up our system in a new destination like Acrisure Arena, or updating older, historic facilities with modern technology, SmartGateway is the right choice for either.”

Acrisure Arena, home of the Coachella Valley Firebirds hockey team, is set to open this December. It is situated in the Palm Springs area, and is designed specifically for hockey games and concerts, with seating for over 10,000 people.

EVLV announced financials on the 9th. Its hard for me to understand how they can make statements like this with all the bad news about their product:

Yep, it's unbelievable how even something like playing with lives can be thrown aside for profits and sales. I have been impatient with Pat1 on more than one occasion but this kind of BS can't be tolerated by potential customers.

Pat1 has been slow and steady ahead and in the end hopefully it pays big for their descisions to produce a good product instead of this crap.

I always question any study by any university because results can vary depending on where or who the funding is coming from and they always go for grants first.

OVG - What is even more important to realize... It's not the fact that they have 350 venues (although that is definitely important). The bigger thing is that OVG founders (Tim Leiweke & Irving Azoff) are 2 of the biggest and most respected names in the concert touring industry. When I say they are giants in the music touring industry, that is no exaggeration. They both alone have huge reputations built from very long successful careers in the industry.

When either of them do anything, the entire touring industry pays attention. Yes OVG has a lot of venues, but that's a drop in the bucket compared to the entire amount of venues around the world. It's those "other" venues that are now watching. Now that Tim and Irving decided to go patriot, it means ALL the venue owners are going to be watching

Highlights I can remember:
some pretty soft questions. I would have been tougher.
-PE is very excited about OVG. 350 venues, the real deal.
-P1 has 0% churn ( the rate at which customers stop doing business with a company over a given period of time)
-Financials out possibly next week with another investors webinair
-Sharks will use our system for Hockey events. Just has to finish some paperwork
-DHS is very convoluted but he is working with them
-people are buying in and excited about out product. We are raising eyebrows.
-didn't talk about backlog.
In the end PE is very excited about P1 and where we are headed.
