Let's give some credit to J.P.Morgan for helping in "getting the ball rolling", when they initiated an overweight rating and a P.T. of $120 per share 3 days ago. Good to know WDC has strong market sponsorship.

Nice rebound, now in the solid green, didnt expect it to drop so low I admit, but the shares in the 70s were amazing buys for sure to offset jumping in too early...

From an engineering point of view MAMR trumps HAMR, and as far as I know WDC is the only owner of MAMR and the technology is slathered with patents.

That puts WDC in a unique situation since it also has SSDs.

According to Nikkan Kogyo, a group including Western Digital has won the bidding for Toshiba's chip unit for somewhere around Y2T. Shares up over $4
in after hours trading.
