Well, your price projection of WD shares appears to be in line with what some of the "big boys" are thinking. Apparently, Jim Cramer agrees with the price prediction you made on this stock board back on June 6th, as he publicly stated on June 13th that if WDC does buy the Toshiba flash unit subsidiary, it's shares will rise to 100, once the deal is completed.
In sympathy with the hi tech. sell off that occurred last Friday, WDC took a hit of five dollars, but the last two trading days have been a different story, as buyers returned to the market. This weeks large share volume has been a reflection of the heavy accumulation that is now under way, in anticipation of the Toshiba announcement expected for tomorrow.

Purchase of Toshiba Chip Unit Would Be Icing on the Cake for Western Digital, Guggenheim Says
https://finance.yahoo.com/m/77e33df3-329d-33e5-b2fa-674b9e2c0399/ss_purchase-of-toshiba-chip-unit.html
Western Digital's (WDC) bid for Toshiba's (TOSYY) coveted chip unit is all "upside" for the company and is not necessary for the company to continue its upward trajectory, analysts at Guggenheim wrote in a bullish note Tuesday.
The firm reiterated its "buy" rating and $125 price target on the data storage device maker. Despite this view, the firm believes that the purchase could be accretive to the company's EPS by over $2 per share in the near-term and over $5 per share after accounting for $1 billion in overlapping synergies.
Western Digital shares were up 99 cents, or 1.14%, to $87.63 in premarket trading Tuesday.
I think we see 100 in a few months, gl to you.....

I was eating a hersey bar
After rereading your series of recent emails, I now realize that you are looking at a bigger picture as to how you perceive the shares may trade, and not on a single day's movement. I stand to be corrected in my misinterpretation as to what you are stating, and I do appreciate your opinion.
Whatever the case, the primary trend is still entact, imo.
Careful now. The only thing we can say for sure on a day to day basis, is that its share price will fluctuate. Whether WDC hits temporary resistance at its current price level and suffers a minor pullback or consolidation, should become clearer within the next several trading days.

iHub has it wrong.
Or maybe iHub means Institutional Holders (not Insider Holders).
-------------------------------------------------
There is no way that insiders would own such a large percentage of any publicly traded company.
According to Nasdaq, Institutional Holdings are 85.87%. Within that group are 779 Holders.

We also achieved targeted cost and efficiency improvements and improved our liquidity position with continued strong cash flow performance.
“We continue to execute well on key strategic priorities, including the integration of HGST, SanDisk and WD, and the ramp of 3D NAND technology. We are achieving our planned synergy targets and are progressing with our transition to 3D NAND technology with the ramp of our 64 layer architecture.”

Welcome to the Western Digital board. I have been in and out of this stock for over a decade, and it has been a very nice one to play.
