Very oddly all of it. What side of the border did you purchase your shares?
At least with Etrade, you have to place the order over the phone, and then it is on the Canadian exchange and costs extra. And yes, you only have 1/10th of the number of shares. We are right back where we left off with the bid around 0.12 and the ask at 0.43, same as 0.012 and 0.043 for 10x the number of shares.
Why did I ever buy such a stupid stock?
JP
I tried to sell my 30000 shares at $0.12 but got a reply that no order was placed. Thought it was worth a try.
I pay close attention to my proxy mail and I do not recall this.
I wonder how long it will be until the company issues another 30 million shares.
We have had our pockets picked.
Kind of Pi$$es you off, doesn't it?
JP
According to the Canadian Exchange news this change was approved by the shareholders at the May 2009 meeting. Apparently they approved a name change and a 1 for 10 reverse split. The company apparently didn't feel this important enough to issue a PR.
won't work, but you can always try.
:>)
My portfolio still shows my 30,000 shares at the new price. Maybe I should sell them before they find out about the reverse split.

Prrpf still apears to be a valid symbol, but the Canadian exchange shows PSH not to be a valid symbol. It appears that the Canadian exchange side of the company has only been changed.
Very very very weird!
all I can find is that it is a name change at best. It shows the same organizational structure. Why a name change?
You might ask your broker how this merger, buy out or whatever it might be had come about. Maybe Portrush became a subsidary? I still do not know. I do not see any other message board reflecting the information you have presented.
Portrush website still states Portrush! Unreal.
Obviously they do not have a high regard for those of us who have invested in the company.
Unreal.
JP
How can they change the name of a company and do a reverse split and not release a PR?

I really do not know. Has to be a filing somewhere out there.
All is gone away now with the new name, most likely for a new game, of much the same.
I did not know the name was changed, and I see no reflection of it on any other board. I will have to look further into it.
My portfolio shows the new price but it doesn't show any reduction in shares. Right now it looks like I am making a lot of money. I wish that this was true.
WESTBRIDGE ENERGY CORP COM in the new company name.
1 for 10 reverse split on 12-11-09.
Of course there is no company press release on this; you find out only by calling your broker.
I am so proud I own this stock.
JP
Read the IBOX. "I presently do not own any shares or have any personal financial interest invested in Portrush Petroleum."
Roll Call:
Some days it seems like Tech and I are the only ones stuck with this stock.
I own 100,000 shares at 0.091 ave price. I will likely sell before the end of the year to offset gains in other stocks. I hope to be able to sell above 0.04.
What about others? How much at what price and what are your intentions?

* BP, Marathon shut production in Gulf of Mexico
* Louisiana Offshore Oil Port stops tanker offloading
* Chevron, Anadarko evacuating workers, no output shut
* Exxon preparing for possible shutdowns (Adds BP, Marathon output shut, Exxon preparing for possible shutdowns, helicopter company comments, double byline)
By Erwin Seba and Bruce Nichols
HOUSTON, Nov 8 (Reuters) - U.S. oil companies were shutting production on Sunday as they evacuated workers from the Gulf of Mexico ahead of Hurricane Ida, which is forecast to roar across the offshore oil patch Monday before making landfall on Tuesday.
BP Plc, (BP.L) one the Gulf's largest oil producers, said on Sunday some of its production was shut and nonessential workers were evacuated from Ida's forecast path. The company does not disclose amounts of shut production.
Marathon Oil Corp (MRO.N) had shut its Ewing Bank production platform after evacuating workers, a spokeswoman said on Sunday. The Ewing Bank platform can produce 11,700 barrels of oil and 10.5 million cubic feet of natural gas a day.
The Louisiana Offshore Oil Port, or LOOP, which takes in an average of 1 million barrels of foreign crude from cargo ships daily, stopped offloading tankers shortly after noon CST Sunday (1800 GMT) due to deteriorating sea conditions, according to a spokeswoman.
Chevron Corp (CVX.N) and Anadarko Petroleum Corp (APC.N) said workers were being evacuated from platforms in the Gulf of Mexico on Sunday, but no oil production was shut in.
Exxon Mobil Corp (XOM.N) said it preparing for possible shutdowns ahead of heavy weather at offshore and onshore Gulf of Mexico locations including its Mobile Bay, Alabama, natural gas field.
Oil companies began lifting workers off of platforms in the eastern and central Gulf of Mexico on Saturday, said a helicopter company executive.
"We've had a very busy day," said Jim Shugart, executive vice president of marketing for ERA Helicopters of Lake Charles, Louisiana.
"We expect tomorrow to be pretty busy if the weather gives us a shot to complete what we're doing," Shugart said. "We started Saturday. They've been flying all day. Can't put a number on it. I would think like 30 or 40 helicopters."
Hurricane Ida was packing 100 mile-per-hour (161 kph) winds on Sunday, according to the U.S. National Hurricane Center, which rated it a Category 2 storm on the five-step Saffir-Simpson scale.
Ida is forecast to strike the U.S. Gulf Coast between Louisiana and Florida sometime Tuesday morning, the Hurricane Center said.
ConocoPhillips (COP.N) said operations in the Gulf of Mexico were continuing as normal on Sunday while the company monitors the storm's progress.
The LOOP continues to supply U.S. Gulf Coast refineries from tens of millions of barrels of oil stored onshore despite the halt in tanker offloading, said LOOP spokeswoman Barb Hestermann.
The LOOP also continues receiving via pipeline 500,000 barrels per day (bpd) in oil from the Mars and Thunder Horse production platforms in the Gulf, Hestermann said.
"We may not be offloading tankers Monday and Tuesday as well," she said.
The Gulf of Mexico accounts for 25 percent of U.S. oil production and about 15 percent of national natural gas output. according to the U.S. government.

Portrush to Develop Louisiana Prospect
Press Release
Source: Portrush Petroleum Corporation
On Thursday July 16, 2009, 4:15 pm EDT
VANCOUVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Portrush Petroleum Corporation (TSX- V :PSH, OTCBB:PRRPF) (http://www.portrushpetroleum.com) wishes to announce it has entered into an agreement leading to the development of a 1200 acre prospect in Pointe Coupee Parish, Louisiana.
The Prospect is located less than 30 miles northwest of the city of Baton Rouge and approximately 30 miles east of the town of Opelousas. Stratigraphically, the lease is situated in the fairway of the Oligocene and Eocene producing trends and, more specifically, in the Frio, Vicksburg, Cockfield, Sparta and Wilcox sand series. Historically, these have been among the more prolific reservoirs in this geological trend. Structurally, the Prospect is a downthrown fault trap. Similar structural traps in this area are associated with a number of major producing fields.
The Company has agreed with the operator to review all existing technical data before it takes on any further development.
The operator has recommended acquiring several square miles of 3-D seismic to integrate into the existing seismic data and also to define the deeper stratigraphic potential.
The initial well is proposed to be drilled to a depth of 11,600 feet and subject to a successful test, a total of five wells will be required to complete development of the field.

I don't believe that Portrush has made very much profit. I doubt if they have the cash to develop the Ontario site. It sounds like they will be drilling at least two more wells on this site. I haven't heard anything about the Ontario well having gone on production. I suspect that the money they raised will be used to drill and place the Ontario site on production. I would expect to hear something soon about what they plan to do.
Why the financing arms? Where the oil/gas profits from such a find? Typical ongoing private placements.
TechKim: What do you make of this latest PR? Has this company finally turned the corner or is this just another case of possibly a small amount of income that will be needed to pay expenses and pay debts but will leave nothing for profit. I like to hear your point of view.
I know there are many investors around who search for small, unestablished companies, so they can short their stock. They know that many of these companies will go belly-up and they will never have to cover their shorts. However, when companies like EEGC and PSH suddenly reach a point where it appears they may become profitable, these people start to panic and lots of selling occurs. I don't know how many shares of these stocks have been shorted but, if the price shoots up, those caught with their shorts down will lose big. Someone has speculated that prices are down because Funds have been withdrawing their holdings. I doubt if many Funds have invested in these companies. My bet is on the shorters.
The report speculates that they have hit a forty acre pool of oil. The problem is determining the best way to get the oil out. Sometimes the wrong approach can ruin the whole project. I just hope they take their time and get it right. I know you have been very discouraged in the progress this company has made in the past and I don't blame you. I feel their biggest problem is that they have never kept their shareholders up to date on what has been going on. I can't say that management has ever done anything to keep shareholders happy. In fact, it has always seemed to be the opposite. This company seems to be run very much like a privately held organization although it is a public company. If this company turns out to be a success, many of the early shareholders will not benefit, having long ago bailed. I suspect that many of us who are still here have been on the verge of bailing many times during the past few years.
Interesting report, but why are they not producing the oil presently? Something seems off key! Oil politics?
I was wondering about the salt water content myself.
Portrush Evaluates Waubuno
Vancouver, British Columbia CANADA, Jan 15, 2009 (Filing Services Canada via COMTEX News Network) --
Portrush Petroleum Corporation (PSH - TSX Venture, PRRPF - OTCBB), Portrush has commissioned a Calgary based Petro physical Consulting firm to conduct a detailed evaluation on the Moore 6-12-III #2 well on its Waubuno property in Moore (St. Clair) Township, Lambton County, Southwestern Ontario. The evaluation is based on log evaluation and an oil show observed during drilling at the top of the main potentially productive porosity interval. The results will be considered preliminary until such time as the well is placed on production. The Company holds a 65% WI in the project.
The Raw Oil in place has been estimated at 806,000 barrels.

5% represents a conservative outcome: 50% represents mid-range and 95% represents an optimistic forecast of future production.
The report continues:
The "data presented herein indicates there is considerable Oil in place under the Waubuno (150-acres) pooled interest. The Portrush et al #2, Moore 6-12-111 completion candidate presents log data that compares favourably with log data obtained from nearby A1 Carbonate Oil Producers. The well if completed as an oil well would be expected to drain approximately 40 acres. This would indicate that at least three oil wells would be required to effectively drain the reservoir as postulated to cover 111.0 acres more or less (primary production)"

Don't Worry.
Someone bought 500 shares at 0.03 as the last transaction. All of the shares prior to that were trading around 0.06. This was probably a broker balancing his books.
Why would anyone with no interest in this stock take the time to post on this board? Ask yourself "What is Their Motive"? My personal opinion is that these people have very low self esteem and they post to appear as someone with great knowledge and wisdom. Their time would be better spent reading books on self improvement or attending classes. There is also the possibility that several years ago they invested in this stock and lost money, like many of us did. In that case, they have two choices. They can move on to something they believe to be more positive or they can sit around and feel sorry for themselves. This second group are the people who spend their time posting negative opinions on these boards. The bottom line is that these people have no knowledge about this project so their opinions carry absolutely zero validity. By the way, this poster has been around less than one month. He must be a quick study to have attained such a vast amount of knowledge about this company so quickly. He is posting the same negative information on other boards at this same time.
Nor should you presume things based on a poster's longevity, or lack of it.
For someone who has only been posting on this board for less than one month, you seem to be talking with a lot of authority. Maybe you should follow this stock for awhile before making rediculous conclusions.
The quick answer is: They missed... again. But it looks like they've got a nice salt water well.
add it to the warrant dilution

Portrush Drills Discovery Well at Waubuno
VANCOUVER, Jan 08, 2009 (BUSINESS WIRE) --
Portrush Petroleum Corporation (TSX-V:PSH, OTCBB:PRRPF) (http://www.portrushpetroleum.com)
Drilling at the Portrush et al #2, Moore 6-12-III well on its Waubuno property in Moore (St. Clair) Township, Lambton County, Southwestern Ontario has reached total depth and the well has been logged and is awaiting completion.
A detailed petrophysical evaluation of the potentially productive interval of the well has been completed and the following pay parameters have been calculated over the interval
Net Pay: 18.1 feet Average Porosity: 10.1% Average Water Saturation: 43%
An oil show observed during drilling was noted at the top of the main potentially productive porosity interval. An influx of free oil into the well bore upon penetration of the main porosity intervals is a positive sign of hydrocarbon presence in the zone. A preliminary Reserve Calculation is underway.
The operator of the Mission River Texas Field is working on three wells. The Number 14 well has been completed and has been placed on production at a rate of 435MCF of gas and 26 barrels of oil a day. The Number 13 well has reached total depth and is awaiting completion. The Number 10 well was drilled in June of this year has been sidetracked at a depth of 7,550 feet. The well has been placed on production at a rate of 426MCF of gas and 10 barrels of oil a day.
The Company has established a credit facility to fund the Company's obligations for the drilling of additional wells in the McAlester/Mantle Mission River Project in Refugio County, Texas and has agreed to grant up to 7,200,000 warrants to Mantle Resources, LLC of Houston, Texas as a loan bonus. The warrants are exercisable for a term of two years at $0.05 per share. Under the terms of the credit facility, the Company can borrow up to $US780,000 at a floating rate based on Texas Community Bank prime rate plus 21/2 percent.
