I agree stores were crazy sold out of most items for a few months. Walmart isn’t an exciting story like technology stocks.

Craziest stock imo. WMT should easily be in the $150s. No use crying, it is what it is: flatlined as in flat -- not dead.

Those cats all have billions to manipulate prices up and down and so on . I even think the corona press’ on bio tech companies is mostly fluff. But we will see for sure. My main thing is inflation and if people realize the dollar is going to get crushed... however with Walmart these guys will be one of the last remaining companies .

I expect with many honest Americans finally saying enough is enough and opening up their business over these next few weeks, many of these corrupt suits will begin their selloff in these overvalued companies they have been pumping in the media like dkng, penn, boeing and others. This is when I believe Buffett is going to pump in hard, time will tell as always. I believe I have a decent track record tho.

I agree. I am not one bit concerned about the dip after earnings. There is so much market manipulation going on right now its laughable. Buffett sitting on cashing because he doesn't see anything worth investing in yet defends this statement.

I agree. Walmart staying out the media fluff and putting up nice results is what I love to see. No worries about Walmart, Every time ive been to Walmart during this pandemic it is packed. I've recently heard also that during pandemic Walmart online sales is doing really well.

Out of Flour, Sugar(granulated, Brown, powdered), decent greens(not Mexican, brown leaf), spaghetti sauce, ground beef, eggs, TP! Same products have been missing since Sept. of last year!

What matters is i finally grabbed some PASTA - took 3 trips to Walmart though. Whew now i can enjoy the shelter-in-place edict.

WMT and other grocers are having difficulty restocking shelves. Its going to get uglier than it is now. WMT's sp will continue to drop. Keep watching for the bottom, under $100.00 somewhere mid quarter to stock up.

WMT stock falling & falling EVEN as shelves are EMPTY in their supercenters. But I finally bought my pasta. I bought 3 packages and left 1 (only package remaining on shelf). It took 3 trips to Walmart but i finally succeeded!!!!! I have pasta to last my shelter in place state.

Why are people still hording food? It's been weeks since the hording started. Are people now hording 6 months of food? I don't understand empty pasta shelves. I just want to buy 1 package of pasta -- all i still see are empty shelves.

A cousin of mine manages a LUVs truck stop in Alabama where they have a Walmart distribution center near by. The truckers there say re-supply isnt coming for some time. With China halting exports, we'll soon realize how dependent Walmart is on their wares. I was in one today. The shelves arent bare but you can see the food most people wont eat, those items are more than plentiful.

Pasta and Rice, an inexpensive carb to feed lots of bellies. Restocking is becoming a problem. Manufacturers cant keep up with demand. All fresh poultry and pork products decimated, only expensive beef available at most stores. And we're not hearing or seeing any of the "beyond meat" products take over.

So far stores are having difficulty re-stocking their shelves. With Walmart getting 60-70% of the items they sell from China, its going to get ugly.
