They should trade some food for weapons
Also surprised women aren't a commodity yet....Especially in these almost all guy gangs.
Yes, I may try that with the spousal_unit....
When we met, I thought you were the only woman alive. Now I know better.
For all Rick knew, Gregory might be Negan.
Shows that when bartering, different groups have different goods or skills to offer.
If Carol and Maggie hadn't been engrossed in their spirited argument they may not have been captured.
Abraham sure has a sweet and tactful way of letting a woman know he's no longer interested in her.
With 4 episodes left this season I wonder when we'll see Negan and who will be his victim?
Without any evidence?
Let's not forget how Negans gang on Motorcycles treated the crew while they were travelling home.
That alone was good reason and good evidence on how "Nice" that group was.
Speaking of Negan...
He's gonna be pissed at what went down. Something wicked this way comes.
Where is my post from a couple years ago when I predicted Rick would turn into the Governor? If last night's episode was not Governor revisited, what is?
They just totally believed Gregory without any evidence. Who knows, they may have been killing another rival group of vegetable marketers.
Jesus certainly is an interesting fellow. I agree that the leader of the Hilltop community is a dick and all about himself.
Other than rescuing the one guy's brother, I saw no reason to go on a seek and destroy mission. Just use the house as a look out to spot Negan's people approaching. Maggie has found out that she's quite the negotiator and Rick and his crew certainly found out how they could work for food.
I assume that they were taking the food back to Alexandria before they head out to find the saviors. From the previews it looks like Rick and crew are walking into a trap. I can't believe that the Saviors didn't see them coming.
The plot thickens.
I do find it interesting that this new group are farmers. It's like the days of the American Indians where some tribes were hunters and some were farmers. Guess that's what we would revert back to.
Meanwhile, Rick's group are the Sioux and definitely out looking for trouble.
So why take a pregnant woman with you on a dangerous mission?
Oh yeah, and is this new "boss" a dick or what? Can't figure out how Jesus fits in there? Why was Jesus so far from their home and on his own? Seems some holes in this story line.
Yeah, he seems to me his strategy is awful. Since they can see for miles away from this new site, why not wait for Negan to show up and ambush him?
Why does Rick think he can just walk in and kill Negan when not but a moment before Rick was on the ground with a knife at his throat and 'Red head' was being strangled... outta no where!? If some pansy's can throw them down like that, then I think they should rethink their macho-ness.
The set up is not looking good. Maybe a little home time to prepare and beef up a bit would be a good idea?
Must have been a glancing blow?
Yes that was dumb too. From 10 feet and no neurological damage. Lol
And here I thought you were going to bring up how Carl was shot in the eye, and lived to tell the tale. ;)
Now that was believable!
nevermind
They were parked.
Pretty sure they can move out of the way then chase you.
Just speed up, anyone blocking the road and holding guns is going to die if I am driving.
The one part I agree with you on was running over the motorcycles, although that's not too easy, and they would have been shooting at them. Don't know why they got out of the truck.
The stupidity of the principals in order to get out of situations is dumb. one minute they are world beaters and genius's the next complete idiots.
No one on earth would have left the car and just took the truck. They would have gone straight back to camp with that wealth of food and provisions. They just should have just shot jesus. They should have just ran over the guys on the motorcycles with the big fuel truck. People are 1000 time more of a threat than walkers. They would have never put the truck in a place where it could roll in the lake.
They just need to clean it up. They are not stupid people and they need to quit writing them as such. It is annoying.
Should have I prefaced this by saying it's just a tv show but the kids have me hooked. I just like things to be plausible whatever the show or movie situation is. I always go back the movie predator, crazy alien stuff but the people in the situation did plausible stuff.
Finally got caught up on the last two shows.
Classic! LOLOLOLOL
That's hilarious!! I'm passing it along!
On next weeks episode
https://www.facebook.com/jimmykimmel/videos/1690996931177402/
This week they had on Mashown. She is rather chatty and totally destroys the vision you have of her.
On the other hand, I was watching Talking Saul last week and Bob Odenkirk had absolutely nothing! I notice it wasn't on again last night. Wondered if they cancelled it?
Yeah, I hope he turns out to be a magician in his past life. That would make for a cool character. Can you imagine him screwing with zombies by vanishing in a box and cutting them in half.
Please don't wait for me.... I generally watch it on Monday evenings but once in a while we get delayed. If I'm afraid of something spoiling it for me I won't read it.
Maybe Jesus will be the next Daryl if he's the one Negan takes out? The previews indicate that Jesus is going to tell Rick and the gang about his own group of survivors.
No, we don't watch The Talking Dead but I have seen parts of a few shows.
I don't know. Let me google it! ;)
Apparently, Rick was sporting two weapons.
So, how do you explain Jesus running around without a weapon and surviving? When he had Daryl's gun, he had no problem shooting a zombie.
He had to have been a magician in his past life!
Since when can someone sneak up on Rick and Michonne?
I loved how they popped out of bed packing their weapons. LOL
Must be awful living in the apocalypse!
I had to look up whether he was good or bad on the internet. I wasn't sure based on his behavior. Sounds like he is going to be good.
I said it sounds like he's good.
You know how the story goes. Just when you think someone is dead - they aren't. Just when you think someone is good, they are bad, and just when you think someone is safe, they are killed.
Plus a lot of the characters are bad, first, then good - except Negan we all know he is brutal.
One thing for sure - Jesus can sure get out of a set of ropes, eh?
Dang it! Don't tell us stuff not in the show. I didn't want to know whether or not he was good.
Agree!
I was dying to bring it up but I have learned to wait for your schedule here, Gmen! I would hate to spoil every episode for you! ;)
Jesus looks like an interesting character. I had to look up whether he was good or bad on the internet. I wasn't sure based on his behavior. Sounds like he is going to be good.
Michonne and Rick. 'Whoda thunk'? ;)
What a killer team they will make!
Do you ever watch talking dead after the episode? I always catch both and find them equally entertaining. They mentioned the time frame between the last two episodes represented two months. Poor Deanna walking the woods for 2 months! LOL
Now that was an interesting episode. Rick and Michonne get busy, a new and interesting character is introduced, Rick and Daryl big adventure, no sight of Carol, Morgan or the preacher, Carl matures a bit in his discussion with Michonne. Previews for next week look interesting.
A real friendly guy. LOL
Yeah, he had a fun loving attitude about him....until he killed ya. I liked his story about being uncomfortable driving along with someone whose buddy they had just killed and the awkwardness.
He did play the part well. You could almost feel as though you could like the guy.
I'm sorry they lost the actor who was the lead henchman for Negan. I liked that guy.
Agree. If the car was suppose to be there they would have made it a bit more visible.
I'm betting it was just someone who wandered into the scene unintentionally.
We have seven episodes left this season. It wouldn't surprise me to see him show up on the last one making us wiggle in our chairs for season seven!
However, dragging out his arrival for so many episodes seems wrong considering they just brought his character to our attention. LOL
I'm gonna say we as an audience catch sight of him before that, but that our people in Alexandria won't know of him until the final episode.
Maybe the car wasn't suppose to be on the road (some local).
Carl now matches the Carl in the comic book, one eye.
Hard to believe the bullet didn't kill him.
Think we see Negan this Sunday?
Wasn't it? Finally everyone stepped up.
Hope they remain united.
The car is obviously there based on the close up provided - but I think it's a stretch to believe we were supposed to see that. I'm going to watch it again on my big screen and see if it pops up into view without having to get out a magnifying glass now that I know what to look for. ;)
Certainly Negan, or someone in Negan's group, was somewhere witnessing all of that and followed the group back home, right? How else would they know who to kill in the future?
Very interesting!
Wow, that certainly was an action packed episode!!! Negan's probably going to be pissed that his henchmen were taken out.
Did anyone notice the car way down the road just before Daryl blew up the boy on bikes?
