I've been watching this one for a while and have a few shares from a momo pop a while back because of the SS...not many. Does WQNI still have the shares of WBSI? I've been reading some posts and did find where they had purchased Websafety from WQN for 27M shares of their company stock, but wasn't sure where they stood with those at this time. The following filing was from quite a few years ago:
http://www.getfilings.com/sec-filings/120828/WebSafety-Inc_10-K.A/
That's about all the research I've done here so far~
Shhhhhhhh guys stop posting about this one (:
Let it go under the radar
Looks like quiet accumulation mode. Any new DD, Tweet, News on OTC and this takes off.
Agreed my friend. Followed back, whatever happens will be golden. Many will look back and we can say we were in at ground floor prices.
can't be many shares out there available for trading, not the way this moves ..any news here and the chase will be on
Bet we get a nice squeeze here soon. Momo just starting.
Wondering the same.
Not the kind of growth i was expecting...
Conclusions from a quick research. I was doing some research. According to a few messages from the past, the o/s shares are around 22M and float is 5M. Looks like the company has a solid product, big potential market, revenue stream ($5.99/month), and significant patents. Assuming it has good leadership and market traction, the company valuation could be above $10M. This means the share price could be above $0.45. Don't know when though!! Some news from the company will help. The assumption here is that WQNI tracks WebSafety Inc (www.websafety.com). Also the source of the share structure information is this message board itself. I take caution though that these sources and assumptions may not be accurate.

Very thin to upside. Just need some buys
The million dollar question. Volume late morning out of nowhere.
so what's driving this besides nothing?
I too a bit ago at 019. many people shy away from a large gainer but as last week showed with one I was in that closed up 495% 012 only to be followed the next two days by 60% and 99% moves and hit .11 on the 3rd day. This cold very well do the same in the next couple days.

The WebSafety app filters mobile phone texting or email communications through the world's largest word-recognition library of words, slang terms, and catch phrases involving cyberbullying, sexual behavior, and harmful activities involving threats, or predatory comments, "sexting", and references to self-harm, suicide, drug use, gun use, and more. Suspicious words or phrases automatically trigger email and text-message alerts to parents that include the entire email exchange or text-message dialog thread of the child's mobile phone communications in question.
"We are pleased to have the opportunity to appear on "My FOX Detroit" said Michael Adler CEO of WQNI "This allows us the chance to enlighten the morning show audience to technology that can help protect against social pressures such as cyber-bulling, that 1 in 4 kids in America face everyday".
WQNI recently announced a retail program with AT&T and Verizon authorized dealers offering the parental-control mobile app for a monthly fee of $7.99.
RatedSafe was recently featured on NBC Miami educating viewers about keeping kids safe behind the wheel. View segment here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6F3wkzwnR8k
About WQNI
WQN, Inc. (OTCPK:WQNI.PK) markets and distributes mobile applications that enable parents to monitor their children's mobile phone activities. WQNI partners with leading mobile communications companies to offer unique online security solutions designed to help parents keep their kids safe, including RatedSafeTM, Cell SafetyTM, and SAFETM (Security Assisted Family Entertainment).
BOCA RATON, Fla., April 10, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- WQN Inc. (OTCPK:WQNI.PK - News), a leading online security software provider of mobile phone applications protecting children from cyber-bullies, sexual predators, and texting-related threats, announced today a special partnership program for distributing WQNI's RatedSafeTM anti-cyberbullying mobile phone application through Ability Online, an acclaimed nonprofit online friendship and skill development network for thousands of children and young adults with disabilities, autism, and chronic illness, and their friends, family, caregivers, and health professionals.
Mobile phone text messaging has become the most common medium for cyberbullying behavior, according to a 2011 American Pediatrics Association study. Unlike online social networking where communications are open and exposed, cyberbullying via private mobile phone text messaging make it very difficult to detect and prevent. Mentally disabled or autistic children are especially vulnerable to cyber bullying and predatory behaviors because they often do not realize they are being bullied until the abuse becomes overt or physical.
WQNI's RatedSafeTM mobile phone application enables parents to act immediately and decisively when text-messaging-based cyberbullying is detected. Provisioned and activated with a child's mobile phone account, RatedSafeTM detects potentially harmful or threatening text-message communications and triggers email alerts to parents when their child receives a suspicious, offensive, sexually explicit, or predatory text message, including sending the parent an email containing the entire dialog of the text messages in question.
"RatedSafeTM provides 'parental power tools' for protecting kids, and helping parents combat cyberbullying and online predators," says Teresa Ambroz, WQNI brand advocate and spokesperson. "We are very proud to be part of this partnership with Ability Online, and we believe it will be a 'win-win' for everyone involved--for the wonderful Ability Online organization and their members, and all parents who need to protect children from cyberbullies."
"RatedSafeTM is a natural fit and an amazing solution for any parent concerned about their children," says Michelle McClure, executive director of Ability Online. "Parents who have children with autism and other social challenges realize they are especially vulnerable to bullying via text messaging, and many are reluctant to let them go online or to have cell phones. Using RatedSafeTM, parents can protect their children from cyberbullies and predators while also enabling their children to enjoy a measure of personal independence and safely use cell phones, text messaging, and the Internet."
Created in 1991 as a small online bulletin board, Ability Online today has grown to a global online network providing 24/7 access to a secure, monitored, and bully-free online environment focused on the needs of young people with disabilities and illnesses, and their parents and caregivers. A registered charity promoting projects and programs involving autism and disabilities, Ability Online also provides opportunities for information sharing, skill development, peer mentorship, and more.
Ability Online's special program enables their thousands of members to activate WQNI's RatedSafeTM anti-cyberbullying mobile phone application at a monthly subscription rate of $7.99, available through Ability Online's website (www.abilityonline.org). Along with protection from text message-based cyberbullying, RatedSafeTM also automatically blocks any kind of pornographic ads on a child's mobile phone Internet browser, and notifies parents when their children are texting while riding in a moving vehicle. Using mobile phone-embedded GPS technology, RatedSafeTM can pinpoint the geographic location of a child's cell phone, trigger e-mail alerts to parents if a teen-driven vehicle exceeds the posted speed limit by more than 11 mph, and can automatically disable wireless Internet and text messaging communications while the teen is driving an automobile.
