Loooots of cash for VVIT
Is this good news?
Very interesting background. Miami Dolphins, financial services experience, studied mechanical engineering at Notre Dame and Summa Cum Laude. Looks good to me.
Hoping to see more PR's of good things happening with the company soon. GLTUA!
I agree the company could use some more eyes. I"m not trying to flip this for a quick buck, I'm hoping it grows in to something bigger. I've been a ND fan for almost 50 years so when I saw Tim Ruddy was the CEO that alone was enough for me to put some money in it. I can't fathom a Golden Domer being involved in a share selling scam which most pinks are.
Hope more people find out about this company. Real revenues/profits, good business model and stable. A good investment IMO.
If it does in the field what the say it will on paper, then I think we have a good investment.
Sounds promising IMO.
It's been a long wait getting the new Gassifier on line. I hope it is still on schedule to go live the end of this month, and then there are people that want to buy it.
The "seed" has been planted. Let's see if it takes root and grow$!
Next stop is $0.08 if all goes well!
GLTA!
Thanks Norsk!
I think it is time for an update on project. I'll suggest to Tim, the CEO. If the $0.048 can be taken out, would be a nice bump to hold there for a bit.
Long and strong VVIT!
Agreed Norsk! GLTA.
I think (and hope!) we continue to see more updates from the Company in the next several weeks as project completion gets closer. The public float for VVIT is incredibly low, so any up volume, and we should move up in a hurry. I've got the CEO's ear, and things look promising. Word has got to spread however, and bring in some new blood to get the PPS moving up, as it has done recently. I'm a long-time shareholder, and VVIT's day is coming IMO.
Hang in there!
I agree! It is improvement year over year.
Quarter is looking rather fine. Operational profit. Loss just because of the damn interest expense. Not too bad.
Company continues to grow revenue and profits. Was disappointed with the increase in operating expenses, but it costs money to expand. If investors look at their growth numbers, it is very impressive and as I expected. Hopefully people don't get too caught up in the Op. Expenses. While there is nothing sexy about waste recycling and treatment, it is a good micro-cap growth company with a tiny amount of shares outstanding.
I called Tim on Friday, and haven't heard back. No doubt I will and will get further explanation on 2014 projections and see if that operating expense number can come down.
Long and strong VVIT.
Vista Releases Full Year 2013 Results; Revenue up 17%, Gross Profit Jumps 168%
Vista Releases Full Year 2013 Results; Revenue up 17%, Gross Profit Jumps 168%
DENVER, CO--(Marketwired - Apr 15, 2014) - Vista International Technologies, Inc. (OTCQB: VVIT), a pioneer in efficient Waste-to-Energy technology, is pleased to release to investors the following selected operating results of the Company in its most recent fiscal year. The information in this release is taken directly from the Company's 10-K, which shows audited financial results for full year 2013. The Company encourages investors to view the full 10-K, which is currently available on the EDGAR database.
For the fiscal year ending December 31, 2013 the Company saw revenues increase by roughly 17% over the previous fiscal year, topping $801,000. The increases in 2013 were mainly due to the presence of gasification revenue from the construction of the Company's pilot WTE project, which were not present in 2012. Cost of revenue for the Company's continuing operations declined 19%, or roughly $131,000 from the year ago period, as cost cutting measures continued to help operating results in the tire segment. Overall, gross profit rose 168% to $173,200 for 2013.
Operating expenses for fiscal year 2013 rose to approximately $597,000, up from $249,500 in 2012. The majority of operating expenses incurred in 2013 were the result of common stock grants used as payment for one-time services, such as setting up the company's European operations. Excluding these one-time stock grants, operating expenses actually fell to $160,400. The decreases in recurring operating expenses were due to the continued reduction in corporate overhead and are a direct result of the Company's efforts to streamline operations.
Overall, the company's net loss from operations rose to $423,700, up from $184,900 in 2012. When the stock grants mentioned above are factored out, the Company posted an operating profit of roughly $12,800 for fiscal year 2013. CEO Tim Ruddy commented on the results. "We felt that 2013 marked an important turning point for the company in a number of areas. We began construction on our first next-generation Thermal Gasifier unit for our pilot project, continued to expand our customer base for our tire operations in Texas, and reduced both our cost of revenue and recurring operating expenses by significant margins. We believe that these results have prepared us for a strong start to 2014 as well."

Yep, will do. I'll call Tim again tomorrow and see if I can get a thorough update and timeline of upcoming filings.
I had my own Investor Relations firm from the mid '90's to about 2008 representing companies just like VVIT. Tim knows this and I have given him some free advice in ways to get the word out about the Company, and solidify the existing shareholder base. He has been very receptive, but haven't talked with him since early January. He's good about getting back to me and I'll see how things are progressing. I'll report back on what I find out.
While this is a good company, it is in a not so "sexy" industry. But it does have a lot going for it. It's just off the investor radar right now, and that needs to change. I'm not talking about "pumping" the stock, but just letting the small stock investor crowd know that there is something here worthy of a look. And as I recently posted, there is something here that deserves such a look. There is no reason this stock shouldn't be trading much higher based upon past financials, expansion/growth, and projected 2014 numbers. And as a long-time shareholder with a large position (at much higher levels), I'm going to do all I can to help out to try and make that happen. Wish me (and all of us) luck! It sure can't hurt...
Please share anything of interest if you talk to Tim tomorrow. TIA
I've been a large holder of VVIT now for about 9 months, and tirelessly waiting for the run up. Level 2 has had little resistance lately, but without significant & steady buying, it doesn't matter much. The 10k and recent 10Q should be out anytime showing profits, overseas & U.S. growth, and continued low float numbers. They could also use a significant PR out about now. It's been way too long, and the last mentioning BP was a puff piece. I am confident in management, and will call Tim tomorrow to see what's up. BTW, the Company's market cap is lower than the equipment they own! That's crazy! Tim agrees, but there has been little effort to spread the gospel of VVIT. That has to change and soon.
GLTA...hang in there!

Revenue to grow 35% in 2014 and that is conservative.
Let the buying begin! 2014 revenue projection is 35% higher than 2013 and that is "conservative"
Gonna shoot up! New contracts under discussion "..For the full year 2014, the company expects revenue to increase roughly 35% from 2013 levels, topping $1,150,000 . This revenue surge will result from solid growth from our gasification segment, and increased sales of processed tire material at the Hutchins facility. In addition, the Company expects to be net income positive for full year 2014. These revenue and income projections are considered to be conservative in nature, as they are based on contracts currently in place and continued operations with our trusted business partners, and do not include revenue from projects currently under discussion.."
Love the share structure here, could pop asily
I really like the low share structure here

"The company's biggest achievement in 2013 was the commencement of construction on the company's waste-to-energy pilot project in the northeastern US. This project will be the first installation of the third generation of the company's patented Thermal Gasifier technology. Startup of the facility expected in the first quarter of 2014. The company expects this project to contribute over
"Our tire processing facility in Hutchins, is the only facility in the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex that is approved to both process and store waste tires. We generate revenue at the facility through disposal (tipping) fees as well as sales of processed tire material. 2013 was a solid year at the facility. The company had steady production at the facility for the first half of the year, performed some equipment upgrades over the summer, and has ramped up production toward the close of the year. The upgrades have allowed the company to reduce utility costs by 25-35% on average, making the facility much more efficient. During 2013 the company also began providing processed tire material to a new customer, a relationship that should generate over
Overall, the company continues to expand both segments of its business, and looks forward to continued rapid growth in 2014 and beyond.
