Going forward, now that they are integrated with Exterro, will be curious to see if they say thousands of users.
Thousands of legal teams around the world in corporations, law firms, government and law enforcement agencies trust our integrated Legal GRC platform
Either way they lost 12 from 8/9.
From today's PR:
Veritone Redact and its suite of public safety AI solutions are currently being licensed and used by over 275 public safety and justice agencies across the United States.
From the last earnings call Aug. 9 :
At the state and local level, our products have tremendous product/market fit and new LEAs are being added almost every day. In California alone, we have 169 agencies using our software every day. Nationwide, we have over 287 LEAs leveraging our software.
But if they are adding a new LEA every day, then they should have 321. lol
Either way Redact generates miniscule revenue. And I thought they said last q they had over 300 customers. Now apparently only 275. So much for there over 90% attrition rate.
Just wish the PR would emphasize the aiWare platform more than the redact application.
I don't hate it. Much rather this type of news then posts about awards. Exterro seems to have legit revenue and customer count so will see.
Right on Q for another immaterial PR. Go Veri. COL.( cry out loud).
Once again, we go back to revenues. They say they are addressing the M&E vertical themselves. The rest, (government, energy, etc) they are pursuing via partners.
I assume on Veritone's end they are pursuing recruiting AI via partners.
Through our strong partnership with these companies (Amazon, Fedex), we pioneered a new AI standard in recruiting that is being rapidly adopted by a diverse set of businesses.
Unless of course if it is an outright lie.
So if I were to give them any benefit of doubt, I would say that they remain silent on work with strategic partners, and we will only see it in the form of revenues. Otherwise, not marketing aiWARE capabilities as an enterprise platform is just crazy.
But yes, if aiWare revenues don' accelerate from the $10M last quarter then time to hang up on this POS.
Something going on for 5 years since IPO.
Can't keep giving them benefit of doubt.
Wade and Wendy could also be integrated into Veritone Voice. So even if no aiWare could at least have mentioned Veritone Voice. Just think they have things in development not ready to release to public. Frustrating, but they just simply cannot be that stupid. Something more is going on.
Yea never made it to Ihub news or my broker news or Yahoo news etc.
And their PR today apparently never reached any business news outlet except what Cpeter posted. At least not what I could tell.
Took 18 months to incorporate Wade into Pando. Haven't they heard about Automate Studio. That would have only taken a week. Lol. I guess poor communication over at Veri. Marketing was taking advantage all those Veri perks.
Data Scientist from Pando just posted on Linkedin on PandoSelect:

At last!!! 18 months after the acquisition of Wade & Wendy, we are announcing PandoSELECT, PandoLogic's new product to help companies recruit, qualify, and manage candidates leveraging Conversational AI!
So PandoSelect attributed to Wade and Wendy converstational AI acquisition.
No aiWare lol. There has to be something else going on.
Maybe CS has been taking advantage of that perk for last 6 months. Maybe why Terry Baker still has CEO title. Never saw a public company with 2 CEOs. Ever.
All these employees. What the hell are they doing. Oh forgot one of perks for working there or should I say being on the payroll is as much time off as you want and management encourages it. Great.
Maybe this Aiware is just hope and a prayer. Sure seems like it.
They are basically running an advertising, content licensing, and media and entertainment business. And they acquired a programattic job recruiting business. Maybe mention energy once in a while. Investors are only allowed bits and pieces of info related to the above., and any of their self back slapping social media posts only pertain to the above.
aiWARE as an enterprise AI platform and CDI as applied to other verticals are lost in space.
Another thing. No longer mention CDI.
You can still find their CDI page if you do a google search. https://www.veritone.com/energy-solutions/cdi-overview/
But I don't think you can find CDI if you go directly to their website and navigate from there.
CDI was apparently integrated into aiWare. But even in the aiWARE section of the website, I don't see anything that resembles the CDI capabilities.
They've applied it to their energy offerings. Don't know why they don't describe any of these capabilities in other verticals, like their generic healthcare page. They could be applying these capabilties to healthcare, retail, etc. Why not. So sick of the secrets.
They have to be doing something with the aiWare push into the enterprise AI platform market that we don't know about. They could have mentioned aiWare in today's PR. Even if Pandoselect doesn't yet incorporate aiWare capabilities, they could at least mention aiWare in their Pando marketing as an evolutionary direction. But never see Pando and aiWare in the same sentence. Veritone had said that through cross selling, they would use the Pando acquisition to make inroads into the enterprise.
just two theories:
1: they are delusional, talk a good game, believe their own BS, and buy/own the stock regardless of outcome.
2. They have plans with aiWare and enterprise AI with partners that we don't know about. Puzzling on their website why they don't include licensing aiWare platform into the enterprise AI market as part of their business ecosystem.
Would like to believe #2, but patience is wearing very thin right now. Sadly, taking a capital loss is starting to look tempting. There's other fish in the sea, but not many where the insiders didn't unload during the bubble.
1 step forward 3 steps back.
BTW last post was Sarcastic.
Certainly blindsided by that. But think Pando more involved with fulfillment and drivers and that certainly slowed down and came to stop.
Amazon curbs corporate retail hiring for the rest of 2022

Think that the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing in the Veri empire. When everyone works from home has to be communication failures and shortfalls. Think actually a sad state of affairs at Veri. Need new management like I have been repeatedly saying. Every PR and misstep truly bears this out.
Sure doesn't sound like a "new standard for AI recruiting developed with Amazon and Fedex. lol That Chad must be a real character to be around.
looks like tomorrow we'll get the merit award PR.
So the Pandoselect PR comes out, more than 3 months after Ryan said it would. And over a month after they said they officially launched it (Aug 31). Have no idea what is going on with Veritone and Pandologic. I had assumed the delay in marketing Pandoselect was because there was going to be some organizational changes, indicated by the amendment to the Pando acquisition agreement. Now wonder why they've been dragging this out for so long, unless it was just do to problems with the product. Don't know.
Thx that wasn't posted on normal sites I look for news or even Veri website.
Did a PR come out today?
CS underground. RS spending most of his time on social media and CFO home babysitting. My fault for not totally dumping this POS for good. Can't see meeting guidance. Would be very surprised. Although just saw hiring remained strong in Aug. We shall see going forward.
The way the volume is and how the stock moves on such little volume, if they came out with a substantial PR, the stock would rocket. As of now, they have the market trained as if the stock was just another run of the mill POS, which it currently is.
Have to say though, they keep putting out meaningless PRs, win meaningless awards, and party at one trade show after the other, with the CEO disappeared as usual, if they don't have something great coming up, and come out with another lackluster earnings report, then I will be fully convinced these people are incompetent and maybe delusional.
RIght now, with them announcing nothing, just coming off a quarter where Amazon essentially dumped them, putting them back in the red, with $200M debt hanging over their head, and hired an extra 200 plus employees that so far appears they didn't need, and probably heading into a recession, they appear to be concerned about none of it. Instead one trade show party after another, and competing, or maybe paying for awards that nobody cares about. And Ryan drops a half mill on more shares. Don't get it.
With all the BS still can't believe mc only 200 mil. I mean 1 verticle can be valued at 200 mil. Only shows that mc and lack of volume no one believes Steelberg crap.
Agreed. Didn't sell because full of themselves. RS should be doing Executive suite duties responsibilities. Instead spends all day on Linkin and Twitter liking different posts. Plz give me a break.
It's actually bazaar. When I look at other similar companies, I see insiders were selling aggressively during the Covid bubble. Steelbergs held.
They don't ever share meaningful business news, partnerships, etc, but they are always "thrilled" with these awards and trade shows. Do they actually believe their own BS? Why didn't they cash in on the unsubstantiated hype that they created? And don't they see that no one gives a $hit about awards? lol
Pathetic can only get 100k shares traded for the day.
Ha Ha, I was just going to post the same thing. Had the link ready and everything.

What do you think. Tomorrow or Thursday we get PR on the 5 merit awards they just received.lol
sure sounds live Veritone iDerms
for several weeks now, whenever I do a search on Linkedin for Veritone, on the right hand side there is a box that says "People also viewed", and then it lists Veritone One, Pandologic, VocalID, etc. But it also lists Prescinto. They did a $6 million cash raise on Feb 14, 2022.
Veritone made their $2M minority investment in the 1st quarter.
During the three months ended March 31, 2022, the Company invested $2,000 in a strategic investment in a technology company
Hugo Lapie just left Veritone to go to Prescinto and when he announced on Linkedin the move, it was liked by several people from Veritone including Ryan S.
Have the feeling that Prescinto is in the strategic minority investment
also on the list of companies that people also viewed is QOS Energy. Don't know what relationship there exists if any.
Only thing hanging my hat on now is the 2q growth in Aiware revenue. 1 month till we know if a trend or abbarition
Yeah, but like you have said, in the end it is revenues that matter.
The growth in aiWare last quarter was encouraging. Amazon lack of hiring and the economy are the two primary problems.
It seems clear that they are not marketing aiWare as a product. It's a capability that can be integrated into other platforms. They're not going to announce these integrations and steal the show from their customers' AI platforms. It just needs to show up as revenues.
Another problem is that the federal government cannot get their $hit together with respect to AI.
The new website kind of hints at a new direction. Veritone going to focus on Veriverse, Veritone One, Pando, and Veritone licensing. Everything else including energy and aiWare enterprise AI platform licensing being pursued with with partners.
Looks like they are going to bring Pando in house. Maybe aiWare and enterprise AI licensing are going in a new direction? Spinoff?
Just seems that some sort of reorg is in the works. Hope it includes one or more large partners interested in scaling aiWare, and hope it doesn't mean restructuring charges.
Will say again there has to be interest out there in at least parts of the business.
Maybe soon he will emerge from his underground bunker and lead this POS
Chad seems to think Veritone and aiWare are invincible and can go toe to toe with anyone, despite having a lot less resources. Stock getting crushed and Chad still beleives Veritone and aiWare are invincible. Reminds me of the Black Knight in Mony Python movie. lol
Yes funny
Don't know if we should cry or laugh. Guess at this point doesn't matter either way.
