While suturing a cut on the hand of a Texas Rancher whose hand had been caught in a gate while working cattle, the doctor struck up a conversation with the old man. Eventually, the topic got around to Obama and his bid for the presidency.
The old rancher said, Well, ya know, Obama is a 'post turtle'.
Not being familiar with the term, the doctor asked, 'What is a post turtle'?
The old rancher said, When you're driving down a country road and you come across a fence post with a turtle balanced on top, that's a 'post turtle'.
The old rancher saw a puzzled look on the doctor's face, so he continued to explain.
'You know he didn't get up there by himself, he sure as heck doesn't belong up there, he doesn't know what to do while he is up there and you just wonder what kind of an idiot put him there in the first place.'

Bush Says Drill, Drill, Drill — and Oil Drops $9! [Larry Kudlow]
In a dramatic move yesterday President Bush removed the executive-branch moratorium on offshore drilling. Today, at a news conference, Bush repeated his new position, and slammed the Democratic Congress for not removing the congressional moratorium on the Outer Continental Shelf and elsewhere. Crude-oil futures for August delivery plunged $9.26, or 6.3 percent, almost immediately as Bush was speaking, bringing the barrel price down to $136.
Now isn’t this interesting?
Democrats keep saying that it will take 10 years or longer to produce oil from the offshore areas. And they say that oil prices won’t decline for at least that long. And they, along with Obama and McCain, bash so-called oil speculators. And today we had a real-world example as to why they are wrong. All of them. Reid, Pelosi, Obama, McCain — all of them.
Traders took a look at a feisty and aggressive George Bush and started selling the market well before a single new drop of oil has been lifted. What does this tell us? Well, if Congress moves to seal the deal, oil prices will probably keep on falling. That’s the way traders work. They discount the future. Psychology and expectations can turn on a dime.
The congressional ban on offshore drilling expires September 30, so that becomes a key date. A new report from Wall Street research house Sanford C. Bernstein says that California actually could start producing new oil within one year if the moratorium were lifted. The California oil is under shallow water and already has been explored. Drilling platforms have been in place since before the moratorium. They’re talking about 10 billion barrels worth off the coast of California.
There’s also a “gang of 10” in the Senate, five Republicans and five Democrats, that is trying to work a compromise deal on lifting the moratorium. So it’s possible a lot of action on this front could occur much sooner than people seem to think.
So I repeat: Drill, drill, drill. Deregulate, decontrol, and unleash the American energy industry. Those hated traders will then keep selling oil as the laws of supply and demand and free markets keep working.
Bravo for Bush. Bravo for the traders.

SECOND AMENDMENT LIVES... SHOT HEARD ROUND THE WORLD ... 5-4... Scalia wrote opinion. Justice Breyer dissented, joined by Justices Stevens, Souter and Ginsburg...
Court rules in favor of Second Amendment
The Supreme Court ruled Thursday that Americans have a right to own guns for self-defense and hunting, the justices' first major pronouncement on gun rights in U.S. history.
The court's 5-4 ruling struck down the District of Columbia's 32-year-old ban on handguns as incompatible with gun rights under the Second Amendment. The decision went further than even the Bush administration wanted, but probably leaves most firearms laws intact.
The court had not conclusively interpreted the Second Amendment since its ratification in 1791. The amendment reads: "A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed."
The basic issue for the justices was whether the amendment protects an individual's right to own guns no matter what, or whether that right is somehow tied to service in a state militia.
Justice Antonin Scalia, writing for four colleagues, said the Constitution does not permit "the absolute prohibition of handguns held and used for self-defense in the home."
In dissent, Justice John Paul Stevens wrote that the majority "would have us believe that over 200 years ago, the Framers made a choice to limit the tools available to elected officials wishing to regulate civilian uses of weapons."
He said such evidence "is nowhere to be found."
Joining Scalia were Chief Justice John Roberts and Justices Samuel Alito, Anthony Kennedy and Clarence Thomas. The other dissenters were Justices Stephen Breyer, Ruth Bader Ginsburg and David Souter.
The capital's gun law was among the nation's strictest.
Dick Anthony Heller, 66, an armed security guard, sued the District after it rejected his application to keep a handgun at his home for protection in the same Capitol Hill neighborhood as the court.
The U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia ruled in Heller's favor and struck down Washington's handgun ban, saying the Constitution guarantees Americans the right to own guns and that a total prohibition on handguns is not compatible with that right.
The issue caused a split within the Bush administration. Vice President Dick Cheney supported the appeals court ruling, but others in the administration feared it could lead to the undoing of other gun regulations, including a federal law restricting sales of machine guns. Other laws keep felons from buying guns and provide for an instant background check.
Scalia said nothing in Thursday's ruling should "cast doubt on long-standing prohibitions on the possession of firearms by felons or the mentally ill, or laws forbidding the carrying of firearms in sensitive places such as schools and government buildings."
The law adopted by Washington's city council in 1976 bars residents from owning handguns unless they had one before the law took effect. Shotguns and rifles may be kept in homes, if they are registered, kept unloaded and either disassembled or equipped with trigger locks.
Opponents of the law have said it prevents residents from defending themselves. The Washington government says no one would be prosecuted for a gun law violation in cases of self-defense.

Sen. Barack Obama has promised "change," and his campaign has already been hard at work changing one of the basic symbols of the nation -- the Presidential Seal.
On Friday, the press was abuzz over with the new seal, which was unveiled on Obama's podium when he spoke to a group of Democratic governors.
While the Obama seal does include the American bald eagle clutching arrows and an olive branch, the resemblance ends there.
The Latin phrase "E Pluribus Unum," which translates to "Out of many, one," now says "Vero Possumus." Press reports translate the Latin words as "Truly, we are able" -- a rough translation for the Obama campaign slogan, "Yes we can."
The deletion of "E Pluribus Unum," long considered the de facto motto of the United States, is not accidental for multiculturalists, who have long denigrated the concept that immigrants must strip away their old culture in favor of the "oneness" of American civilization. In the 1990s, such activists promoted the alternative concept of the nation's ethnic "mosaic" -- rather than a singly overarching metaphor to describe Americcan society.
Other Obama changes to the seal include the removal of the shield over the eagle's breast, representing the president's oath to defend the Constitution. The shield has been replaced with the letter "O" -- presumably for Obama --and the image of a rising sun.
"This is too serious a contest about too serious of issues for a candidate to be playing make-believe on the trail," Brian Rogers, a spokesman for presumptive Republican nominee Sen. John McCain, told The Los Angeles Times

On the Second Amendment,
Don’t Believe Obama!
The presidential primary season is finally over, and it is now time for gun owners to take a careful look at just where apparent nominee Barack Obama stands on issues related to the Second Amendment. During the primaries, Obama tried to hide behind vague statements of support for “sportsmen” or unfounded claims of general support for the right to keep and bear arms.

But his real record, based on votes taken, political associations, and long standing positions, shows that Barack Obama is a serious threat to Second Amendment liberties. Don’t listen to his campaign rhetoric! Look instead to what he has said and done during his entire political career.

Renovating the Great Hall of American Hatred
by Thomas P. Kilgannon
Posted: 05/22/2008
Dulles, Virginia – The Great Hall of American Hatred, otherwise known as United Nations headquarters, is getting a face lift. It began earlier this month when UN officials gathered to break ground on what just might be the world’s most expensive fixer upper. Shoveling more than ceremonial dirt, UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon said at the ground breaking, “today we turn the soil which the United Nations stands on to mark the rebirth, or renovation, of our Headquarters.”
UN officials may have been turning American soil in New York City, but the policies and practices of the United Nations have, for decades, turned the stomachs of the American people. The building is an East River eyesore and a monument to corruption. Awash in anti-Americanism, the organization is an insult to democratic values.
Built in 1950, the 38-story UN building mirrors the organization -- it is outdated, corrupted, crumbling, wasteful, inefficient, dangerous, and no longer useful. The building, like the organization, should have been condemned, but the UN instead chose to undertake a massive and expensive renovation. The project is currently slated to take five years to complete.
A 2006 report from the Government Accountability Office (GAO) warned that costs on the UN project were “preliminary” and should be “expected to change.” They were correct. Just five years ago, the project was estimated to cost $953 million. Now, it is $1.87 billion. But even that estimate has risen in recent weeks.
Last month, the GAO reported to Congress that the project’s price tag now stands at $2.07 billion – $190 million higher than what the UN tells us. The GAO added hopefully that the project’s executive director “is optimistic about being able to get the project back on budget.” That is unlikely given the upward trajectory of the project to date and the UN’s dismal track record on financial matters.
If the UN’s expenses continue to spiral upward, so too, will the cost to the American taxpayers. The Capital Master Plan (CMP), as the UN has dubbed the project, is being financed through the same assessment formula as the UN’s annual operations. Thus, the United States will pay the largest share -- 22 percent -- or $455 million -- based on the latest overruns.
We have reached a point where there must be limits placed on American generosity -- and those limits must be applied first and foremost to the United Nations.
The U.S. budget deficit for 2008 will be north of $400 billion. That will be added to the $163 billion shortfall from last year, bringing our national debt to a staggering $9.4 trillion. The trade deficit is over $700 billion. At nearly $4 per gallon, Americans are getting gouged at the gas pump, and the President’s pleas for increased oil production are being ignored by the Saudis and other OPEC nations which routinely vote against U.S. interests in the General Assembly. The Bush administration is bailing out irresponsible investors who gambled on sub prime mortgages and is spending $168 billion in an effort to jump start the economy.
Working Americans are facing a mortgage crisis, lost home equity from plummeting real estate values, foreclosures, higher grocery bills, a sinking dollar, a depressed stock market, sky-high gas prices, increased health care costs, rising college tuitions, and jobs being shipped overseas. On top of all that, should they really be forced to underwrite the comfort of UN bureaucrats?
Giving the United Nations a $455 million makeover during difficult economic times like these certainly explains why approval ratings for the Congress and the President are in the basement.
But the economics are only a part of the problem. We are funding an organization whose goal is to undermine our country and our Constitution. At Turtle Bay right now, the United Nations is working on an Arms Trade Treaty that will prevent the manufacture and possession of firearms. But for the efforts of John Bolton and the National Rifle Association, it might already be ratified. The UN is also organizing “Durbin II” -- a follow up to the 2001 conference turned hate crime which highlighted the UN’s anti-Semitism.
The UN continues to press the United States to ratify the Law of the Sea Treaty and the Rome Statute for the International Criminal Court – both of which would do grave damage to our Constitution. Through treaties or conferences, the United Nations is trying to influence American policy on the sale and use of tobacco, the death penalty, traffic regulations, health issues, women’s issues, civil rights, and the list goes on.
Before agreeing to fund the UN building project, there should have been a debate in Congress about the utility of this organization. Is it useful? Does it serve American interests? Can we do without it? There was a time when Republicans in Congress would have fought an expansion of global government and a payment of hundreds of millions to an organization that hates America and has a history of waste and corruption. Now they embrace it. It’s pathetic.

great stuff rr!, how ya been?
hi iamshazzam... that's funny!!
I check this site but don't post that much. But your American Flag and the post reminded me of something. I was in the Navy and all Navy ships fly the Union Jack on the bow when in port or at anchor. The union jack is normally fifty white stars on a field of blue. I think that flag is flown from the yard arm if the President is on board also. But after 9/11 in the spring of 2002 Secratary of the Navy, Gorden England authorized every Navy ship to fly the original Union Jack of the Continental Navy. The original Union Jack is really different. It's 7 red and 6 white stripes like the the American flag but no blue and white stars in the corner. It has a rattlesnake from the lower right corner diagonely to the upper left corner and the words DONT TREAD ON ME on the lowest white stripe. Most ships made the switch on the first aniversary of 9/11 in 2002. They were ordered to fly the First Union Jack for the duration of the war on terror. FYI.
Top Congressional Money Man Dismisses Gates Heritage Speech
On Tuesday, Defense Secretary Robert Gates called on Congress and the Pentagon to keep their eyes on the ball, namely the war we are fighting now, instead of the war we might face later, maybe.
It sounded rational and, perhaps, even seemed a sound reminder that the nation can't spend everything it might want to spend on the military.
Gates' message was heard loud and clear on the Hill. Today, the top defense appropriator -- read money man -- in the House of Representatives boldly stepped in front of the nation (also known as the floor of the House) and said Gates' speech was "simply a rationalization of short-term budget decisions made in the waning months of this Administration. Now when Rep. John Murtha, (D-Penn.), chairman of the House Appropriations defense subcommittee, says something like this, you can bet he has a larger point to deliver. And he did. Murtha said the administration is effectively waging a war without a strategy to guide it.
"We need a National Security Strategy to identify both the near-term and long-term threats to this country. We need a vigorous debate to achieve this strategy -- this hasn't happened since the Cold War," Murtha said. Then he sent a zinger that must have sent some shock waves through intelligence community budgeters: "This country spends more money on intelligence than all the nations of the world combined, and as I've observed our intelligence is about as accurate as Punxsutawney Phil -- 50 percent. 50 percent is unacceptable." Perhaps Murtha has his eyes set on at least one major cut to an IC program.
But in the longer term, Murtha said, "It is time to look beyond Iraq and focus on future threats." To that end, he claimed the emergency supplemental spending bill being introduced on the House floor "provides our military with equipment that will prepare them to face future threats under any scenario; not only to fight a war, but to prevent a war." Then he listed some of the bigger ticket items in the supplemental, including:
$3.6 billion to procure 15 C-17 aircraft
$2.5 billion to procure 34 C-130 aircraft
$750 million for National Guard and Reserve equipment
$1.5 billion for Humvees
$3 billion for Medium and Heavy Tactical Trucks
$500 million for Army and Marine Corps Facility Maintenance and Repairs (including the barracks that need repairs)
$300 million for facility maintenance and repairs at military medical facilities
$570 million for treatment and research activities within the Defense Health Program.

GOP cancer: Party could lose 20 more seats
By: John F. Harris and Josh Kraushaar
May 15, 2008 02:10 PM EST
For the past 18 months, ever since the 2006 elections, congressional Republicans have been like a hospital patient trying to convince visitors that he is not really all that sick: a bit under the weather; actually feel better than I sound; should be up and about any day; thanks for asking.
Suddenly — belatedly — all pretense is gone.
The Republican defeat in Tuesday’s special election in Mississippi, in a deeply conservative district where, in an average year, Democrats cannot even compete, was a clear sign that the GOP has the political equivalent of cancer that has spread throughout the body. Many House GOP operatives are privately predicting that the party could easily lose up to 20 seats this fall.
Combined with the 30 seats that the GOP lost in 2006, that would leave the party facing a 70-vote deficit against Democrats in the House — a state of powerlessness reminiscent of Republicans’ long wilderness years in the 1960s and ’70s.
Things are not particularly more hopeful on the Senate side, where most analysts say Democrats have a strong chance of adding five or more seats to their current majority.
Panic and blame-casting for the dire condition were flowing in equal measures Wednesday inside the House Republican Conference and among party elders and operatives outside.
In the crossfire, there was a bracing new spirit of candor that has largely been missing since 2006, when many Republicans tried to convince the public — and perhaps themselves — that the defeat was the result of temporary setbacks, such as the House page scandal or bad headlines for Tom DeLay, rather than something more fundamental.

Farm Bill passes by veto-proof margin
“The political atmosphere facing House Republicans this November is the worst since Watergate and is far more toxic than the fall of 2006, when we lost 30 seats (and our majority) and came within a couple of percentage points of losing another 15 seats,” Rep. Tom Davis, a moderate Northern Virginia Republican who previously headed the National Republican Congressional Committee, wrote in a 20-page memo to colleagues.
Former Rep. Mickey Edwards, an Oklahoma Republican, said: “I don’t know that I have seen a year like this, ever. The general attitude toward Republicans is so bad nationally.”
By coincidence, the current NRCC chairman — Rep. Tom Cole (R-Okla.), the target of much finger-pointing for his strategy — got his start in politics as a young aide to Edwards. Like many in his party, Edwards said the GOP’s main hope for avoiding a blowout this fall rests in having candidates liberate themselves from their national party label and run on local issues.
But that is easier said than done. The Mississippi district won by Travis Childers is the third consecutive Republican-leaning district that Democrats have won in a special election this year.
Party strategists, most of whom spoke anonymously, said the implications of this record reverberate in all manner of ways that are not necessarily obvious at first blush.
Newly vulnerable Republicans: Suddenly, all sorts of districts that in typical years should be safe for the GOP, no matter the national trend, are clearly in jeopardy.
Those seats include the open seats of retiring Reps. Kenny Hulshof in northeast Missouri, Jim McCrery in northwest Louisiana, Steve Pearce in rural New Mexico and Terry Everett in Alabama.
Democrats breathing easy: Some of the freshman Democrats who were once viewed as highly vulnerable in their reelection bids are now looking to be in surprisingly good shape. Republicans haven’t been able to field credible recruits against freshman Democratic Reps. John Hall of New York, Brad Ellsworth of Indiana, Heath Shuler of North Carolina and Zack Space of Ohio — all of whom represent traditionally GOP districts that the party lost in the 2006 election.
One of the Republicans’ perennial targets, Rep. Melissa L. Bean (D-Ill.), is now heavily favored to win reelection after her once highly touted Republican challenger reported a near-empty campaign account at the end of March.
Money meltdown: The NRCC has now spent about $3 million to defend three House seats in the most conservative parts of the county — Dennis Hastert’s seat in exurban Chicago, Richard Baker’s seat in the Baton Rouge, La., area and Roger Wicker’s seat in northeast Mississippi. Until this year, Republicans rarely had to break a sweat to hold on to these seats. They have now lost all three of them, and the committee is even less-equipped financially to compete fully in an ever-widening playing field for November.
That $3 million total is about 42 percent of all cash on hand the committee reported at the end of March (in its latest filing). The playing field of competitive races in 2008 will comprise at least 40 seats, and possibly as many as 70. The committee just does not have money to help its stronger candidates — and it won’t even have enough money to help all of its vulnerable incumbents.
What’s more, in fundraising, just as success breeds more success, defeat is self-reinforcing. With the clear signs of how much trouble the party is in, it is going to be harder than ever to persuade donors to open their wallets on behalf of candidates this fall.
“If I’m those members, I’m very concerned. You look at what the NRCC spent last cycle in those races — who’s going to do that next time? All these Republicans are used to having more money; they’ve never been in a situation where Democrats have been able to outspend them,” said a top GOP strategist.
Heading for the hills: Plainly, there are large headwinds blowing that no operative or party leader, no matter how skilled, could counteract. But this fact does not mean that Cole and his team have not made matters worse through what many Republican members see as poor fundraising and candidate recruitment, as well as faulty judgments about message and resource allocation.
The second-guessing on the Republican side is going to make it virtually impossible for leaders to impose any kind of discipline on their caucus when it comes to showdown votes in 2008 or to running on a unified message. At times such as this, it is every man and woman for themselves — plainly the smartest move for individuals but not necessarily for the party as a whole.
“It is not beyond the realm of possibility that we could be down to 170 seats. It’s like back to where we were in the ’80s,” said an aide to a top GOP lawmaker. “The only solace we’ll have is maybe we can run against [Barack] Obama in 2010.”

Sean Penn warns Barack Obama at Cannes Film Festival opening
By Anita Singh, Showbusiness Editor
Last updated: 8:05 PM BST 14/05/2008
The Cannes Film Festival got off to a lively start with Sean Penn, president of this year's jury, sounding off about US Presidential hopeful Barack Obama and the opening movie almost being upstaged by a bunch of performing pandas.
Penn joined fellow judge Natalie Portman on the red carpet for the premiere of the first night film, Blindness, a thriller starring Julianne Moore.
At a press conference beforehand, the actor, an outspoken critic of the Bush administration, offered his views on the Democratic nomination race.
Asked if he would be joining other Hollywood A-listers in pledging support for Obama, Penn gave him a less than ringing endorsement and warned that he has an awful lot to live up to.
”I don't have a candidate I'm supporting and I'm certainly interested and excited by the hope that Barack Obama is inspiring,” he said, but went on to accuse him of a “phenomenally inhuman and unconstitutional” voting record.
”I hope that he will understand, if he is the nominee, the degree of disillusionment that will happen if he doesn't become a greater man than he will ever be,” Penn said. “This is the most important election, certainly in my lifetime, and maybe ever.”
Portman, 26, said she would not be endorsing Obama or his rival, Hillary Clinton, but added: “I think it's a very exciting year for our politics, that for the first time in a while we have a choice of who we like better instead of who we hate least.”
Penn said it was impossible to separate film from politics, and promised that the winning film would be a reflection of the current climate.
“One way or another, when we select the Palme d'Or winner, I think we are going to feel very confident that the film-maker who made the film is very aware of the times in which he or she lives.”
There are 22 films in competition for the Palme d'Or and the jury will watch them over the next 12 days. “The idea is to be wide awake with an empty bladder for the start of everything,” explained Penn.
Asked if he was enjoying it so far, he complained that he had been “discouraged from smoking” – France's smoking ban was introduced last year – before lighting up and chain-smoking his way through the press conference.
The opening film, Blindness, is a thriller from director Fernando Meirelles about a town struck down by a mysterious epidemic, leaving Moore the only character with the ability to see.
Based on the novel by Nobel Prize-winning author Jose Saramago, its story of a community hit by disaster and receiving no government help draws obvious parallels with Hurricane Katrina.
Moore said the film was timely: “I think there's sometimes something in the zeitgeist. There's a tremendous amount of tragedy right now, physical tragedy and man-made tragedy, and we are feeling anxious.”
The 47-year-old actress dyed her famous red hair blonde for the role. She said: “I'm a redhead and I'm always a redhead, except for this movie. I don't want to do it again. I didn't like it very much.”
Away from the main competition, comic actor Jack Black launched his latest movie, DreamWorks animation Kung Fu Panda, by performing martial arts moves on the beach in the company of 40 extras in panda suits. Black, who lends his voice to the film along with the likes of Angelina Jolie and Lucy Liu, explained that he was there to create “panda-monium”.
The film creating the most buzz on the Croisette remains Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, which has its world premiere on Sunday. Harrison Ford, Cate Blanchett and director Steven Spielberg will fly in later this week for the summer's most eagerly-awaited sequel.

Iraq Says Terror Kingpin Captured
By PATRICK QUINN,AP

BAGHDAD (May 8) - The leader of al-Qaida in Iraq, Abu Ayyub al-Masri, was arrested in the northern city of Mosul, the Iraqi Defense Ministry spokesman said Thursday.
Spokesman Mohammed al-Askari said the arrest of al-Masri, also known as Abu Hamza al-Muhajir, was confirmed to him by the Iraqi commander of the province. There was no immediate confirmation or comment from U.S. forces on the arrest.
The U.S. military in Baghdad said "we are currently checking with Iraqi authorities to confirm the accuracy of this information."
Interior Ministry spokesman Maj. Gen. Abdul-Karim Khalaf said that Mosul police "arrested one of al-Qaida's leaders at midnight and during the primary investigations he admitted that he is Abu Hamza Al-Muhajir."
News of the arrest was also reported by Iraqi state television and Arab satellite TV stations.
The state channel, Iraqiya, said that Minister of Interior Jawad al-Bolani would reward Mosul police for the capture.
Interior Ministry spokesman Khalaf told the station by phone that a source close to the al-Qaida leader informed Mosul police that al-Masri would be at a house in the city's Wadi Hajar area at midnight Wednesday.
"The police raided this house and arrested him. During the primary investigation, he confessed that he is Abu Hamza Al-Muhajir, the leader of Al-Qaida in Iraq. Now a broader investigation of him is being conducted," he said to Iraqiya.
If confirmed, the arrest would represent a major blow to al-Qaida in Iraq, which has been on the run for the past year following a shift in alliances by Sunni tribesmen in western Anbar province, and elsewhere, and an influx of thousands of U.S. troops.
The U.S. military considers the organization its No. 1 enemy in Iraq.
"The commander of Ninevah military operations informed me that Iraqi troops captured Abu Hamza al-Muhajir the leader of al-Qaida in Iraq," al-Askari told The Associated Press by telephone.
He did not have any further details nor did he say when the al-Qaida leader was arrested. According to unconfirmed reports, he was caught Thursday evening in the Tayran area in central Mosul, 225 miles northwest of Baghdad.
Mosul is currently a major battleground for U.S. forces and al-Qaida.
Al-Masri, an Egyptian militant, took over al-Qaida in Iraq after Abu Musab al-Zarqawi was killed June 7, 2006, in a U.S. airstrike northeast of Baghdad.
The Islamic State of Iraq, an umbrella organization that includes al-Qaida in Iraq, last year announced an "Islamic Cabinet" for Iraq and named al-Masri as "minister of war."
U.S. officials said al-Masri joined an extremist group led by al-Qaida's No. 2 official in 1982. He joined al-Qaida training camps in Afghanistan in 1999 and trained as a car bombing expert before traveling to Iraq after the U.S.-led invasion in 2003.
According to associates in Afghanistan, al-Masri has been involved in Islamic extremist movements since 1982, when he joined Islamic Jihad, a terror group led by Ayman al-Zawahri, who became Osama bin Laden's chief deputy.
Al-Masri fought with Muslim rebels against the Soviets in Afghanistan in the 1980s and later ran al-Qaida training camps there.
Associated Press reporter Qassim Abdul-Zahra contributed to this report from Baghdad.

The Naiveté of Appeasement: A Policy Mistake When Parenting or Confronting an Adversary
Rabbi Daniel M. Zucker
Rabbi Daniel M. Zucker
April 09, 2008
Whether the subject is parenting or confronting an recalcitrant adversary, be it Israel dealing with the Palestinians or the G5+1 attempting to prevent the Islamic Republic of Iran from going nuclear, the same principles are at work: it is a mistake to continually seek negotiations, make concessions and offer ever greater rewards for compliance, as the opposition quickly learns that rejection of the current offer is advantageous—it results in a bigger prize being proffered in the next round of talks. In fact, both Israel and the West have almost guaranteed that their respective negotiations will fail because both have fallen into the trap of assuming that a larger carrot will serve to entice an agreement. But since the Palestinians—because of their ever increasing demographic weight—and the Iranian government—because of its ever closer proximity to the gateway of the nuclear club—feel no pressure to accept the current terms being offered in their respective negotiations; neither sees any reason to come to acceptable terms with the other side. Put simply, time is—in their view—very much on their side.
Just as a parent needs to delineate clearly that procrastination by the child in complying with parental desires will result in successively graver consequences, both Israel and the West must begin to convey the message that time is not in their opponents´ corner, and that delay will result in less advantageous terms or graver consequences for both the Palestinians and the Iranians. Any other approach guarantees that the adversary will refuse to negotiate in good faith because there is no advantage gained in so doing. Negotiations only prove ultimately successful when both sides see definite advantages in ending the conflict peacefully. When a basic balance of interests is not achieved, either the negotiations break down or the treaty is eventually abrogated by the "aggrieved" party.
In dealing with the Palestinians, the Israelis have attempted to act fairly by offering a negotiated two-state solution to end the over six-decade-old conflict. Speaking to the Palestinians and the Arab world in general, Israel has attempted to demonstrate her interest in a peaceful resolution that allows for the Jewish state to retain its unique Jewish character at the same time as it becomes integrated into "the neighborhood". For the most part, Israel´s offer has been rejected by the Palestinians and most of her Arab neighbors. With exceedingly rare exception[1], Palestinians have demanded that Israel cease to be Jewish or simply vanish from the map, depending on whether one is talking to the Palestinian Authority of Dr. Mahmoud Abbas (Fatah) or an Islamist such as Ismail Haniyeh of Hamas. Given that Ehud Barak´s 2001 Taba Conference offer of 97% of the West Bank and all of Gaza was rejected by the late Chairman Arafat, the Palestinian side has failed to show good faith, the Gaza Strip alone having launched over 7000 rockets at Israel in the period since the breakdown of the Taba Conference.
Rather than continue on the path of appeasement and concession which has netted it no real solution to the conflict, it behooves Israel to remember the neighborhood in which it resides. By this I mean that Israel needs to shift the desire for peace to her adversaries. It is time for the Prime Minister and the Foreign Ministry to announce to the world that Israel has abandoned the search for peace; uncomfortable as it may be, Israel has gotten used to living under attack. If the Palestinians and the other Arab states want a peace treaty, they will have to make it worthwhile for Israel to come to the table. In the meantime, Israel will begin/continue to expand such cities as Jerusalem, Ma´aleh Adumim, Efrat, and Ariel. The longer that the Arab/Palestinian side waits, the smaller the territory that Israel will concede for the creation of a sovereign Palestinian state. The current window of opportunity ends on January 20, 2009. Such a position needs to be advocated by the left wing Israeli political parties such as Labor and Kadima as well as by Likud, so that the Palestinians understand that waiting for a change in Israel´s government will not change the equation in their favor.
Given the fact that Hamas, Islamic Jihad, the PFLP, and Fatah´s al-Aqsa Brigades continue to rocket Israel, any agreement reached will be a "shelf agreement" until all violence against Israel ceases before implementation takes place. Should the extremists choose to resume attacks after implementation, Israel would hold the government of the State of Palestine responsible and would respond with the full force of her military might; the sovereign State of Palestine would risk perishing in its infancy.
A very similar situation exists in the West´s attempts to get the Islamic Republic of Iran to forgo its nuclear program. So far, five and a half years of negotiations have only permitted the Iranians to advance so much closer to their possession of a nuclear device as well as nuclear armed missiles. Three rounds of U.N. sanctions have put additional pressure upon Iran, but they have done nothing to slow down the Iranian race to acquire the bomb. The release of the National Intelligence Estimate for Iran this past December served to deflate much of the latent threat of President Bush launching a strike against Iran´s nuclear research sites. At present, Iran has no reason to stop its nuclear program, and very little reason to slow it down.
If, on the other hand, the West—Russia and China cannot be counted upon to aid the West in stopping Iran—led by the United States, and including the U.K., France, Germany, Japan, Italy, Canada, Australia, and Israel, were to end all trade with Iran, and threaten the use of their combined military might if Iran refuses to cease its nuclear program and become totally transparent to regulatory inspection by the IAEA by a specific date, say for example, September 1, 2008, Iran might feel it worthwhile to comply. To demonstrate the possibility that military action would indeed be initiated, a small demonstration of Western power would be in order, such as a missile strike on Iranian training camps where the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps currently trains the Iraqi Shiite Badr and al-Mahdi militias as well as Hamas and Hezbollah operatives, or possibly against the convoys supplying weaponry and explosives to Iran´s proxies in Iraq. A few cases of hot pursuit into Iranian territory, especially by U.S. fighter aircraft might cause the mullahs and the IRGC to ponder whether President Bush and friends are as trigger happy as their own President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad suggests himself to be when discussing Israel´s right to exist. Creating doubt as to Western rationality could serve to act as a deterrent because as other-worldly as Ahmadinejad, Khameneí, Rafsanjani, and Mesbah-Yazdi might be, they still enjoy the pleasures of this life and may not want to forgo the present life quite so quickly. Mutually Assured Destruction (MAD) only works when both sides have reason to fear that the other side would actually use its military might. At present, the Iranians do not have much reason to fear a unified Western military attack, and so Iran continues to actively pursue its nuclear program. But if it had good reason to fear a Western military assault, its behavior might just become a bit more cautious.
The above suggested policies, particularly concerning the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, are based in large measure on an essay by the eminent Israeli scholar of Islamic History and Culture, Professor Moshe Sharon, of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, whose article, "Negotiating in the Bazaar", was published in The Jerusalem Post on October 10, 2006.[2] In this essay, Professor Sharon reminds us that the venue is the Middle East where the bazaar/shuq/suq mentality informs the negotiating policies of the locals. Applying a Western or European outlook on negotiating anything, whether it is the price of a rug or a peace treaty, will prove both exceedingly expensive, and possibly catastrophic. Sharon indicates that the Arabs—and so too, the Iranians, of course—have learned to apply bazaar diplomacy. Laying it out plainly, Sharon writes: "In the bazaar, the most important rule is that if the vendor knows that you desire to purchase a certain merchandise, he will put its price up."[3] He continues: "The bazaar has another rule, which holds for the negotiating table too: The side that presents its terms first is bound to lose, since the other side builds its next move using the open cards of its opponent as a starting point."[4] Sharon concludes his remarks with the following observation: "The Arabs have been practicing negotiating tactics for more than 2,000 years. By contrast, the Israelis, and Westerners in general, want ´quick results´. In this part of the world, there are no quick results. He who is hasty always loses."[5] The diplomatic corps of Washington, D.C., London, Paris, Berlin, and Jerusalem would do well to heed Professor Sharon´s sage advice.
Saul Singer, editor of the editorial page of The Jerusalem Post, in a recent column entitled "Interesting Times: A synthesis to win"[6], published on March 13, 2008, suggests that American administrations, both Democratic and Republican, have not done nearly enough to prevent rogue states from supporting terrorism with impunity. He writes: "Unlike its predecessor, the League of Nations, the UN Charter had teeth, and soberly laid out escalating tools—from trade and diplomatic embargoes to military action—to maintain international order. … the West did not proceed with a belated crackdown on terror-supporting regimes. … The 9/11 attacks should have made such a crackdown an obvious imperative. Even then, however, the US chose to demand UN support for American-led action rather than demand that the UN take simultaneous and comprehensive action against all terror-supporting nations."[7]
After analyzing the three remaining presidential candidates and their suggested responses to the Iranian threat both as regards the nuclear issue and the Islamic Republic of Iran´s widespread support of terrorism, Singer makes the following recommendations:
Accordingly, the next president should hit the ground running with two goals, one the immediate and the other long term. The immediate goal should be to convince Europe to end the 1 percent of its trade with Iran, which is 40% of Iran´s trade with the world. The wider goal should be to ensure that any nation that supports terrorism is punished by UN Security Council sanctions.
Together, these goals require a new foreign policy synthesis that infuses diplomacy with muscle in order to achieve concrete objectives.
The West has no shortage of economic, diplomatic and military power. Yet the refusal to deploy these tools in an integrated way has rendered the West impotent in the face of a highly vulnerable, third-rate power. A post-Bush foreign policy—championed either by a Democrat or a Republican—can transcend standard categories and end Western helplessness.[8]
President Theodore Roosevelt, a little over a century ago, borrowed a West African proverb that we would do well to remember: "Speak softly, and carry a big stick; you will go far." It is time for the West to relearn the benefits of "Big Stick" diplomacy; our adversaries have certainly proven themselves adept at learning their own native regional strategies. The price of failure this time is too great to even contemplate: democracy, liberty, and the dignity of the individual are not concepts that belong in the dust-bin of history. Should we fail to stand up and fight to defeat the terror of Islamic fundamentalist fascism, the dust-bin is exactly where those sacred Western concepts will find their final resting place.

CAIR Remains Apologist for Terrorist Hamas, Seeks To Silence Critics
Steven Emerson
To say that The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) has contorted logic and language to avoid criticizing its early patron, the terrorist group Hamas, would be damning enough. But the full truth is even worse: CAIR and its leaders have, over the years, actively supported Hamas positions and regularly done their best to discredit critics of militant Islamic activity.
Those ties with Hamas are at the center of today's installment in our examination of CAIR's history and activities.
- CAIR's incorporator and current executive director, Nihad Awad, stated his position unequivocally in a 1994 symposium at Barry University in Florida. "I am in support of the Hamas movement," he declared.
Awad also echoed Hamas' absolute rejection of Israel's right to exist, writing later that year to the American Muslim publication, The Messenger , that he hoped its use of the word "Israel" in an article had been "the result of an oversight" and that the magazine would "return to the terminology ‘Occupied Palestine' to refer to that Holy Land."
- Awad repeatedly has sought to justify his pro-Hamas statements by contending that they came before the group had been designated by the United States government as a terrorist organization. That argument falls apart when one considers a long history of Hamas terrorist acts committed before the 1995 designation – acts that included the stabbing of five people in a Jerusalem market in 1989 and of a Jewish seminary student in 1992, and the bombing of busses in 1993 and 1994, killing 14 and wounding dozens more.
Indeed, U.S. government condemnation had come as early as 1992, when the State Department found "various elements of HAMAS have used both political and violent means including terrorism, to pursue the goal of establishing an Islamic Palestinian State in place of Israel…Other elements, operating clandestinely, have advocated and used violence to advance their goals."
- CAIR questioned the 1995 executive order labeling Hamas as a terrorist group. Said CAIR spokesman Ibrahim Hooper: "We've been fearing something like this for a long time because there have been elements in the pro-Israeli lobby accusing Muslim groups of raising money for these kinds of purposes, with no evidence whatsoever of diversion of funds."
- Direct statements of support for Hamas continued even after that 1995 designation. Ghazi Khankan, then executive director of CAIR-NY, told an audience at a 2001 event, "The people of Hamas who direct their attacks on the Israeli military are in the correct position."
In Khankan's mind, legitimate "military" targets included any Israeli past his eighteenth birthday. "Anyone [in Israel] over eighteen is automatically inducted into the service and they are all reserves. Therefore, Hamas in my opinion looks at them as part of the military. Those who are below 18 should not be attacked," he reasoned.
- The Washington Post reported that Hooper responded to a 2001 Anti-Defamation League request for a statement directly condemning Hamas by saying, "It's not our job to go around denouncing, that when they say jump, we say how high."
- Asked in a 2003 deposition whether he supported Hamas, Omar Ahmad – a CAIR incorporator –- responded, "It depends. Qualify ‘support.'" Asked whether he had "ever taken a position with respect to… [Hamas'] ‘martyrdom attacks,'" Ahmad responded, "No."
CAIR seemingly reserves its condemnation for anyone who fails to share its affection for Hamas, or any media outlet that dares refer to militant Islamic activity. For example:
- In 1997, it assailed the U.S. government for failing to investigate and "seek justice" for the death of Ahmed Hamida, an Arab-American terrorist killed by Israeli civilians after deliberately driving his car into a group of Israelis waiting at a Jerusalem bus stop. It described Ahmed as an innocent "Palestinian-American Muslim" – even after Hamas had taken credit for the attack.
- It has condemned as "anti-Muslim" a wide range of publications, including The New Republic, US News & World Report, The Atlantic Monthly (for an article about the militant Islamic rule and oppression in Sudan), The Dallas Morning News (for exposing the Hamas infrastructure in Texas), The Reader's Digest (for describing the repression of Christians by Communist regimes and Islamic extremists), The Tampa Tribune (for exposing the Islamic Jihad infrastructure in Tampa), The Weekly Reader's Current Events (for featuring a story on international terrorism) and even The Journal of the American Medical Association (for an article about the victims of terrorism).
- It conducted a two-year campaign aimed at Paramount Pictures, ultimately succeeding in having the terrorists in the film, "The Sum of All Fears," portrayed as neo-Nazis rather than Arabs as originally intended.
- It attacked columnist Nat Hentoff, a consistent advocate of human rights and free expression, for a pair of columns criticizing Louis Farrakhan, Jesse Jackson and others for failing to speak out against slavery in Sudan and Mauritania. Hooper wrote, "Perhaps this hesitancy results from a reluctance to indulge in politically and religiously motivated sensationalism that plays on and amplifies existing Islamophobic tendencies in Western society."

The following is the transcript of a speech on the subject of Islam given by Jim Horn, vice Chairman of the United American Committee, to a group of Republican women in Southern California on Tuesday March 18th 2008. During and after his speech Jim was met with thunderous applause.
Note: The contents of this speech may not necessarily reflect official policies of the UAC.
We are not at war with terrorism. Terrorism is a tool
Who’s attacking us? Is it Japanese? British? Hawaiians? Canadians? Israelis? Koreans? Brazilians? Icelanders? No, it’s Moslems. Islamists
We are definitely at war with Islam, and our very survival is at stake. More importantly, that of our children and grand-children.
To quote former British Prime Minister, Sir Winston Churchill: “Individual Moslems may show splendid qualities; but the influence of the religion paralyses the social development of those who follow it. No stronger retrograde force exists in the world.”
Things haven’t changed.
Those attacking us are not special “fundamentalist” or “radical” Moslems.
They are just honest Moslems like bin Laden, Khomeni, Ahmadinejad, emulating the prototype Moslem terrorist, Mohammed, and doing what his Koran tells them to do.
They want to terrorize us into submission.
And
We are not doing too well!
We’ve let the anti-God crowd (led by the ACLU) kick God out of our schools. Now, they are ushering Allah in. Islam is an evil, bigoted cult!
Moslems are working to make us submit (the Arabic word is Islam) - to becoming Moslems or accepting dhimmitude - which is being inferior to them, of eroding our will to resist.
The real meaning of being a Moslem, of accepting Islam is the willful acceptance of perpetual ignorance, humiliation, poverty, disease, suffering, self-loathing and abuse, hatred of women and sub-human existence.
The cult of Islam is an implacable foe -- this seems to elude many of our leaders.
They foolishly parrot Islamist taqiyyah - lying, balderdash, propaganda that Islam is a religion of peace, that Islam is not the enemy. B.S.!
Here is a fundamental truth: The only peace that Islam recognizes is peace under the domination of Islam. Nothing else!
Any ignoramus who believes otherwise is a simple minded dhimmi fool. This applies to those who believe in so-called moderate Moslems. A moderate Moslem is one who sends others blow themselves up.
Islam’s assault is smart and determined. We can never underestimate their determination - which is to subdue and control us completely.
Our leaders can’t get a grip on it. – they’re befuddled. They are willfully ignorant dhimmis.
The Moslems are employing a multi-pronged attack:
Militarily, it‘s jihad: They are shooting us, blowing us up, cutting our throats.
With no identifiable central military command and control structure, our generals are befuddled and don’t know where to blow things up.
Islam’s goal - is to weaken us. We are NOT succeeding in Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan, Iran, Djibouti, Indonesia, the Philippines, Libya, Algeria, Morocco, Mauritania, the Sudan, Somalia, Nigeria, Kenya, Turkey, Bosnia, Kosovo, nor anywhere else. Our finest are dying every day. And we are putting some of them in military prisons for defending our country! This is a travesty.
Moslems have blown up embassies, airplanes, the USS Cole, the Khobar towers in Saudi Arabia, our Marines in Beirut, kidnapped, tortured, and murdered Americans all over, they took hostages in Tehran, and did 9/11.
Why? Who are we?
We are the lynchpin of civilization, of what is basically good, decent, and civilized.
The Moslems know that if we fall, so will go the rest of civilization.
The A-bomb terrorized the Japanese into quitting.
We crushed the Nazis.
We didn’t use the A-bomb in Korea, and were beaten back to the 38th parallel where it began.
We didn’t use all of our force in Vietnam and were handed our own butts in defeat.
We are now giving the Moslems a silver platter on which they will hand our sorry butts back to us.
We are trying to fight by our rules
- Moslems won‘t comply.
- Therefore our rules don’t apply.
We need to adopt some of their rules.
- Or make new rules.
ECONOMICALLY and SUBLIMINALLY, or CULTURALLY they are on a roll.
They control our energy - oil.
- They charge us billions -- and we pay, and we pay.
Our dollars buy every bullet, grenade, rocket, land mine (IED), etc. that kills an American. Yankee dollars to kill Yankee soldiers!
They are taking control of us.
- They buy and control our stocks
- They are buying our media -- and have silenced Bill O’Reilley who used to go after Saudi Sheikh’s.
- Saudis now own 15% of FOX and effectively sign his pay check. Saudis are off limits. A diminished O’Reilley rants about Rosie, gays, illegals, and pedophiles -
he’s become a tabloid denizen like Jeraldo and Jerry. FOX is now even servile towards Moslim Arabs.
The Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) has gone after Michael Savage in a big way in their efforts to censor or to subdue him. Unlike O’Reilley, Savage is courageously fighting back. Mark Steyn, a Canadian is facing charges of hate speech brought on by his forthright and honest writings about Islam and Moslems (America Alone). The ones bringing those charges are the Canadian equivalent of CAIR, the Canadian Islamic Congress.
This is a form of terrorism. It‘s Arabic word is HIRABAH.
Hirabah is a form of public terrorism and intimidation in an assault on a society - the targeting of people in a way to cause fear, anxiety, terror. It is the threat of legal or other intimidation against anyone who speaks out against Moslems. The way to overcome this is for thousands and thousands of us to go out and express ourselves, to speak in ways --(the simple truth will do)-- that offend Moslems, so much so that they will be overwhelmed by our exercising our rights of free expression.
We did not start this war, but we have no choice in engaging in it, or perish. It’s that simple. Each and every one of is involved like it or not. During WWII in occupied Europe, nearly all of the noncombatant men, children, and women joined in the resistance in one way or another, and this helped our troops to succeed. We need to start our own resistance - NOW.
Their surrogates control our energy sector via corporate boardrooms. - They have set de facto limits to alternative energy. - They are determined to keep us dependent on their oil. The recent energy bill has eliminated incentives for renewable solar power, and Bush signed off on it.
The dysfunctional Department of Energy responds more to Arabs than to us.
France is 85% nuclear powered, as is Germany. Japan is 90% nuclear powered. We’re barely at ten percent. We have let this happen. We are but a banana republic, dependent on others. We need to reverse this.
We need to build lots of nuclear power plants. NOW! We can use power from nuclear energy to extract our own oil -- we reportedly have an 800 year supply of that stuff located in our tar sands and oil bearing shale.
We have coal. Let’s use it. We have technology to clean it up, and we can even harvest gasoline from coal.
The Moslem political lobby – invests billions in us.
- They buy/bribe politicians in every way -- and they are able to pre-determine votes, something you can‘t do.
We need to do something about that. NOW! We need to confront corrupt politicians.
Ask them where their money comes from, their donations, about straw donors. Pin them down. Embarrass them. Humble them. Make them give up that dirty money.
The Moslems have spent decades and billions to study and to learn about us and how we function.
- They have learned how to take advantage of our goodness, of our kindness, of our decency, and thus how to take us over.
--- We have become so tolerant that we tolerate the intolerant. ((repeat)) This must stop.
- They know our laws better than we do - how to subvert us.
- They have thousands of bankers and lawyers increasingly in control our way of life. They are taking over our stock exchanges, and establishing rules that keep investments in Israel and other civilized (anti-Arab) nations down.
They are now buying into financially troubled banks, and then demanding that an approved Imam -- a Moslem “priest” be put on the board to assure that financial products offered to Moslems are ‘halal’ -- kosher. Halal finances are interest free loans and credit cards for Moslems, while you and I pay higher and higher interest on our credit cards.
Those of us who invest, need to go out and invest directly in non-Arab controlled companies to get around and to thwart the Arabs.
They have infiltrated our government
- Our leadership hasn’t figured this out - the depth and breadth of this.
- Hostile agents are active in our intelligence and security organizations. One Palestinian/Hezbollah operative has been found out.
- Moslems in high places thwart loyal Arabic speakers who are Jewish or Christian from getting translator or other jobs.
- They make sure top officials do NOT know what they ought or need to know.
-They got Stephen Coughlin, a top pentagon expert on Islamic Law and Moslem extremism fired for being too honest and good at his job. This is one of the worst outrages coming at us.
So many of us raised so much hell, that the Moslem who orchestrated this was ousted himself for being a liar.
--And Coughlin has a new contract.
- They, in fact so believe their taqiyyah BS and balderdash (it’s not just OK, but actually good to lie to non-Muslims) that they have a mindset that can defeat lie detector tests relied on by the CIA, the FBI & others. They will lie at all costs to achieve their evil goals.
Politicians in New York recently pass a bill to outlaw libel lawsuits against people who exercise free speech. This in response to a Saudi suing people like you and I in European courts. We need one of these laws here, in California now, and need to demand that the Congress enact one also.
I am concerned that if I were to become knowledgeable about something terrible, I am not confident that I could report it to the FBI and that it would be handled properly. In fact, I have had some recent information come to me and I worked on different ways to get that information into the hands of people who will handle it correctly.
Just recently, a former (she blew the whistle and that’s why she is a “former“) FBI translator disclosed the extent of anti-American spying activities by increasingly sectarian Moslem Turkey. An American diplomat was involved.
This war for our survival dates to 570 when Muhammad was born, orphaned, grew up, hustled a rich widow and began his quest for power. He tried to do it peacefully by pretending to be Christ like, and failed His philosophy turned into the evil cult that we know of today as Islam.
The greedy and gullible pagans and others were drawn into his cult which is based on lust and greed.
Islam’s guide is the Koran, a confusing and conflicting compilation of utterances that Mohammed claimed came from his god, Allah.
The Koran is organized by the longest “revelations” first. There is no chronology, no thread to follow. It is confusing to read and to understand or grasp.
Mohammed established the rule of Koranic abrogation.
-Whatever his Allah reveled today can be overruled in later revelations - a very fickle Allah.
Present day Moslems spouting the peace and love spiel are doing the BS and balderdash taqiyyah thing. They are liars -- being true to Islam.
- The fools who fall for this easily are
- our clergy, educators, and politicians and ignorant fools..
Qur’an is the religious side of the cult of Islam
- Is the basis of the vile Shari laws (which boil down to the most crude forms of laws of the jungle and the survival of the fittest or most savage) and Moslem kangaroo courts.
Mohammed’s Hadiths - rules and traditions all based on Mohammed’s greedy, lustful, brutal, savage, corrupt life, his style, governs how Moslems are supposed to live. Moslems try to emulate Mohammed in every way.
For example, Mohammed married Aisha (one of about twelve wives) when she was six.
So, Islam permits baby marriages which really encourages pedophilia.
Mohammed had a dozen wives and many slaves, so Islam permits polygamy, many wives and slaves.
The Department of State in 2007 documented (not rumors, but confirmations) over 800,000 cases of human trafficking as they call it - slave trading. Where? 99% in Moslem countries.
Women under Islam are chattel. Mohammed rules recommend beating wives to keep them in line, and taught that women are inferior, just to be used.
- They can only inherit ½ of men.
- Their testimony does not equal that of a man.
- A complaint of rape is thus a confession to having sex out of wedlock --- the woman can therefore be stoned to death for adultery.
- This is Shari’a law -- what Moslem outfits like the Council on Islamic Relations (CAIR) want to impose right here, in the USA.
Mohammed’s step-son married a beautiful woman whom Mohammed lusted after so much that he divorced her and gave her to Mohammed. She didn’t have a choice.
Murdered Lebanese prime Minister Rafik Harriri was made a billionaire by a Saudi prince, and then became Prime Minister. Harriri divorced his stunningly gorgeous wife whom the Saudi lusted after, and gave her to the Saudi. Harriri was rewarded with tons of money. She had no choice.
When Mohammed and his band conquered one village, he decreed the torture and death of every male, about 900. After pouring boiling liquid down their throats, they were mutilated and then had their heads cut off.
“Islamist extremists” are merely honest Moslems emulating Mohammed. Osama bin Laden is a disciple of Mohammed. Is bin Laden dishonest? No. He is a near perfect Moslem.
“Honor” killings are a common practice, and this practice is being imported. A Man in Toronto strangled his daughter because she wanted to fit into the greater society. An Egyptian murdered his two daughters in Dallas because they resisted their assigned roles of being inferior.
Mohammed promised rewards for the “faithful” which includes paradise for those who die in jihad (such as suicide bombers). In paradise they are promised 72 ever-virgin maidens and 28 tender pre-pubescent boys….., as well as other pleasures.
There are no similar rewards for women.
Islam is much harsher than Communism or Nazism, both of which someone could resign from and still live. If one leaves Islam, they are condemned to death. Islam is just plain evil. And, it’s been around for 1400 years.
Moslems call critics racists. Not so. Islam is an evil fascist system, not a race. Islam is a totalarian cult, and includes members of all races and colors, as are we, its many critics.
We can critically study Christ and Judaism but Islam forbids anything critical about Mohammed or Allah. Ask serious questions, criticize or mock Mohammed and you are condemned as was Salmon Rushdie, the Danish cartoonists depicting Mohammed with a bomb in his bonnet, Theo Van Gogh who was murdered, and anti-Islam Dutch politician Geert Wilders who has made a truthful documentary on Islam and the Koran.
Fascist Islam / Moslems can’t stand the comparison – or competition.
They can’t tolerate freedom of speech.
The UN - Useless Nations - has passed a resolution condemning anti-Moslem/anti-Islam speech -- our exercising our rights under the First Amendment to our Constitution. The Useless Nations hates freedoms set forth in our Constitution, including the one that protects the First Amendment, the Second Amendment allowing us to be armed citizens able to organize and to resist anyone who wants to suppress us, our freedoms - our constitution.
Democracy and Islam are NOT and will NEVER, EVER be compatible.
Qur’an forbids making friends with Christians or Jews. It is against their laws. Mohammed forbade it.
If a Moslem says he is your friend, he is lying - taqiyyah.
Where do we go from here?
Establish reciprocity laws. Reciprocity is NOT discriminatory - it is all about fairness and equality. STOP any more Islamic centers, schools, mosques. Demand they reciprocate and allow building of and protect churches in all Moslem countries until equal status -- parity -- is reached. STOP allowing any more Moslems into USA, until they have attracted several million Christians from the USA and Europe to set up and live freely in their countries.
Severely restrict all Moslem diplomats’ movements.
In Moslem countries, any foreigner who wishes to do business, must put up all of the money, engage a Moslem (citizen) as a partner holding 51% of the assets and earning 51% of the profits. If the company does too well, it can be nationalized, and the foreigner given the boot. Do the same with all Moslem/Arab businesses here.
Soft societies lose to hard societies. Harden up or perish - vanish.
We have power.
We need to use our power. Use our food for oil, medicine for oil, pills for oil, clothes for oil, airplanes for oil, cars and trucks for oil, machinery for oil, technology for oil, education for oil, and more. Put a commodity value on everything. Make them pay.
We have the A-bomb. We need to let them know that we can use it. We need to re-establish our Neutron bomb program.
We need to terrorize and dominate those who wish to destroy us, to make them back off, or kill them if they won‘t.
Cancel all foreign assistance - taxpayer dollars to Moslem countries who fail to fully reciprocate with us. We’ll cut about twenty billion out of our budget in a day when we do that.
Intolerant Islam – submission is not compatible with freedom. -- Freedom is being civilized.
Now, I’d like to say a few words about Russia and China.
The Russians are recovering from Yeltsinism and the Chinese from Maoism.
Flush with cash, the Chinese are building a military force that can challenge the United States, or any other nation. They have tested a satellite destroyer weapon, to demonstrate that they can cripple us.
The Russians are increasingly belligerent towards the United States. Some of you may ask why, and I give you this. In Russia’s involvement in Afghanistan, we sided against the Russians, and supported the Moslems. In Russia’s conflict with Moslem Chechniya, we sided with the Moslems. When Islamists started the ethnic cleansing in Serbia’s Kosovo province, we sided with the Moslems.
Russia and China have active intelligence services which are very aggressive in Washington and other parts of the country. They study us closely, and know very well what is going on.
The Russians and Serbs share much of their heritage in common. We have hurt them badly. We have caused the deaths of thousands and thousands of Christian Russians and Serbs, cost them a fortune, and territory. We have earned their enmity.
If Mexicans - MeCHA, Aztlan, la Raza gangs started military type activity to establish their own anti-American government here, and our police were bombed by Russia for trying to stop them, how would you feel?
The Russians and Chinese both see that we Americans may allow the Islamists more and more until they slyly take us over. They see themselves having to face an Islamist controlled nuclear armed North America. When that happens, they intend to win!

Mondale says DEMS headed for DISASTER!
( and I'm GLAD to HEAR it !)

Mondale worried about super-delegate vote
It seems as if Hillary Clinton can’t catch Barack Obama in pledged delegates or in the popular vote, meaning it could all come down to super-delegates.
One of Minnesota’s most prominent super-delegates, Walter Mondale, told 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS he’s worried that his party is headed for a ‘super-sized’ political disaster if a nominee isn't chosen before the Democratic National Convention.
Mondale has attended Democratic National Conventions for nearly 50 years. He said he’s never seen anything like what’s happening in 2008.
"I'm very frustrated by it," he said.
Obama and Clinton will likely go into the 2008 convention with neither one having enough delegates earned through primaries and caucuses to win the nomination.
"If we have a system where we go through all these elections and you can't elect or nominate anybody. Then you turn it over to the so-called ‘super-delegates’ who weren't elected and you can see why people are not going to like that," Mondale explained.
Political science Professor Larry Jacobs paints a worst-case scenario if super-delegates make a controversial decision.
"The Democratic Party is in a real pickle. One of the worst moments in Democratic Party history was in 1968. You had riots and the convention didn't have a whole lot of legitimacy. The question in 2008 is, are we going to be back in 1968 and with that sort of meltdown?"
There’s even a split among Minnesota’s super-delegates. Party leaders like Brian Melendez and Donna Cassutt support Obama, while Mondale supports Clinton. No one knows how the party will come together to pick a nominee.
"So however this is done, it has to be done in a way that the public feels it is their decision. How we do that, I don't know," said Mondale.
Political experts tell 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS that they cannot envision a scenario where either Clinton or Obama would withdraw before the convention.
