Thanks. That settles that.
UTDE: inactive security. FINRA deleted symbol:
https://otce.finra.org/otce/dailyList?viewType=Deletions
I talked to Fidelity, and their physical stock certificate processors last week. One thing I forgot was the shares had a 1:43 reverse split when FNRP became UTDE. My 10000 FNRP on my certificate is now 232 UTDE. At this point it wouldn't be worth the processing fees to get my shares deposited, even if we could find a transfer agent. We didn't get that far.
I also came across SEC Form TACO which is about the cancellation of the National Stock Transfer, Inc. transfer agent. I tried to request a copy of the paper filing from the SEC but they haven't responded. You could try yourself.
https://sec.report/Document/9999999997-13-000716/
Finally, the OTC Markets entry for UTDE profile has an accounting firm name, and general counsel which might know something. At this point it just isn't worth pursuing for me, though you might still.

I like the stock certificate anyway, and I should frame it and hang it on my wall somewhere.
Thanks blaster
I wasnt able to get any shares and Schwab won t let me buy now unless pink current
Still watching this one
National Stock Transfer, Inc. no longer a transfer agent, per paper filing dated Feb 5, 2013.

Will try to find out who the T/A is now.
Can you see L2 on UTDE. There is none. Scottrade is wrong. You should be able to file a Form 144. You can get that through your broker. It costs about $150.
ANYONE GOT A BROKER THAT TRADES RESTRICTED SHARES -transfer agent refuses to remove restriction- broker will not trade until transfer agent complies--certificate restriction over three years old---- bid .43 ask $4.30
Your L2 is wrong. I see no bid no ask, last sale at .0001 - there is no market at all for this stock. Confirm this with your broker. You will need to pay a registration fee in order to sell your shares if you can. The registration (Form 144) usually runs about $150. The owners of the shell have abandoned plans they originally had. Expect nothing from this for the forseeable future. I own a few shaes myself.
bid showing .42 ask $4.30 I have 1629 restricted shares--used to be able to sell restricted shares after 1 year of holding- does this still apply?
My Broker just got the certs for this, they are restricted. No that they are worth anything, but someone paid to print them ...
You have mail !!
Got it ! Great going ! Let me work up a good response and I will shoot it off to you later tonight. rjr
i emailed you HA .. if u didnt get it, check ur spam folder
(in the mix) If you would, please post an email address, and I will send a response from rjr999@netzero.com so we know we are talking to each other.
(whistles) - I missed calling. Will get on it early this week for sure.
my company raises money for public shells. when u speak with them ask them if they still are looking to raise capital. i could help them if they want.
Thank HA - Post up when you hear and in the meantime there is nothing we can do.
ok, I was able to get hold of someone who knows. Bottom line is the people who were involved in the shell were never able to raise any cash to get things going and the idea kind of got abandoned. I should be able to find out more next Wednesday hopefully. Lets leave these guys alone for now. The conversation was friendly and I want to keep it that way.
Thanks - I tried but to no avail.. Post up when you get it.
GLTY
Just for heck of it I will try to find and contact United E&P. The last I ever heard these guys were going to go public and do an IPO but then they decided to hold off. But its been a couple of years now. I will report back hopefully in the next few days or so either way.
does anyone know what is happening here, if anything?
United E & P, or United P&E, which is it ? Read your note again.
On Aug. 7th, I wrote the following letter based upon company information provided by www.pinksheets.com:
"United E & P, Inc.
3000 Richmond Ave.
Suite 400
Houston, TX 77098
RE: restricted common stock UTDE.PK
Attn: Investment Management
As the owner of shares of UTDE.PK restricted commons stock, held exceeding two years, since July 01, 2004 and February 08,2005, I request your assistance in providing an opinion of corporate counsel that the restriction can be lifted or otherwise to take such actions as are necessary to fully un-restrict the stock within the marketplace."
On Aug. 8th I received a call from an individual at United P&E Inc. at the same address, stating that they were not the same company as acquired the FNRP trading shell.
This is spooky, quite similar business names, same address. If PinkSheets doesn't know the correct address, soes anybody know the real address of UTDE? Starting to sound like another shell game to me.
Okay.... Yes. I don't have a lot of shares either.
Have a good Thanksgiving to you and "this board"!
From, Eric M./Houston, TX.
I don't really care. I only have 100 shares post split so the shares would have to get to over $2 before I would even bother trying to process the old FNRP shares. The cert looks good on my wall anyway.
Tanking..........
Next stop, sub pennies.....
The merger never completed . . . so it never really was worth anything. Sure there was a trade now and then but that is no indication as to what its really worth.
Is the consensus of the group that equity in united e&p is soon to be worthless (if it's not already?) I own 1116 shares ($11.16) and would love to think i might be able to sell for $1/ share(or even $.50), but i'm losing optimism.
Replying to myself.....
I don't think thare is a name change.
My shares changed "classification"?
Large price drop! Did you notice.
Name change? Do you have any more information?
Last trade was on July 6, 2007. Last I heard the company has put its merger on hold. They say they intend to do it, but no timetable now. I still have my old FNRP cert, and it will probably stay that way until this gets going again, someday maybe.
Yes Mine are free trading but no one wants to buy them .
Restricted shares
I still have some restricted shares of this that I got as a div from GXXL over 3 years ago.
Anyone successfully converted their shares to free-trading status?
Not that I know of!
Keep thinking about this stock and maybe it will....ha...ha....
I still own it. it is non tradable in my account...B.O. Amer.
Eric M./Houston, TX.
IMO when its all said and done this stock might be worth somewhere around .01 or so, unless its reverse split. Usually the shell owners in a reverse merger don't get a whole lot of equity in the new company.
I have 17k shares of UTDE, most from when it was GXXL. Do you really think it will go up? If so, what makes you think so?
It may take a year for this compnay to start trading. It has traded a bit in the last month.
Keep holding, that is all you can do.
Thanks for the post. Eric M.
I have seen your past posts and they have been informative. I was just wondering if there are really any trades going through. My shares still seem to be restricted in Scottrade and I had forgotten about them when they were FNRP. I was just wondering if there was any hope for them, but it doesnt appear so.
Maybe trading on the gray sheets but they havent filed a 15-211c yet.
Utde has been trading for a few months.
It has been very unpredictable.
please review my past posts.
