Seems like the end of the world and noone cares!!!
i never put much stock in takeover talk in pinks. just never something worth counting on from my experience but it would be great if it happens and it adds to the big picture potential possibilities so if that happens that would be great. i am most excited about the retail products that will have value regardless of a big contract that may or may not happen. retail products will have value regardless once a hurricane makes this disaster worse
Thanks! Lubbock is having their own oil spill crisis.

I was extremely astute for BUGS to partner with a company that has the ability to serve the masses!
Many of your have it, but some of you have to grow some ability to have some vision to the future! This situation is NOT going away for decades.
Cheers
yes that would be great!what's your opinion about this takeover biz??
absolutely i hate watching the price drop but it is what it is id rather have it drop on no news while people get impatient or bored than drop on prs like lots of other pennies are doing right now. we are in good hands lets hope for contracts or at least combo consumer product with pacific sands that will generate sales for bugs. i think we will have good news shortly
im with you things are brewing and there is nice upside to this going forward
my fingers and toes are crossed!!!i also remember them stating that this combination formula was finished and ready.they have to come out with some kind of PR soon one would think.all this scam talk doesn't really phase me.i will sit here and wait.i like the fact that our man doesn't put out BS PR's!!

(dated) maybe this will answer your question! BUGS and Pacific Sands, Inc. Ready Products to Aid Oil Spill Cleanup Efforts
9:00 am ET 06/24/2010 - Market Wire
CARLSBAD, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 06/24/10 -- U.S. Microbics (PINKSHEETS: BUGS), an environmental technology company, and Pacific Sands, Inc. (OTCBB: PFSD), a manufacturer of a broad range of environmentally friendly cleaning products, are jointly formulating products that could directly benefit victims of the recent Gulf Oil Spill, one of the worst environmental disasters of our time. The products could soon be available for consumer and commercial use and could be used on marine structures and wildlife contaminated with gooey oil.
Using components of the Pacific Sands Natural Choices? product line and the oil spill cleanup experience of BUGS management coupled with direct input from industry experts and technologists, the companies hope to introduce one or more products that can help clean up oil spill residue without using additional solvents, dyes, and chemicals that irritate the skin, require special equipment and training to apply or may harm the environment. The developed products would be available to consumers on the www.EcoGeeks.com website and to industrial and commercial clean up users on a BUGS website to be announced.
Robert Brehm, CEO of BUGS, commented, "The BUGS technology was successfully used on the Santa Barbara oil spill in the late 1960's and I believe there are cleanup lessons we have learned that are applicable to the Gulf Oil Spill particularly with respect to the use of oil-eating microbes for post capture oil treatment in soil and water. In the past we used surfactants and degreasers with oil spill cleanup operations and the availability of the natural products from Pacific Sands and commercially available microbe products could significantly aid the cleanup process without harmful environmental effects of conventional processes now being used. Our goal is to have simple and effective natural products that can be easily used by the consumer and by commercial cleanup crews."
Pacific Sands President, Michael Wynhoff, commented, "We are witnessing a natural disaster which challenges entrepreneurial companies like BUGS and Pacific Sands to quickly introduce new products to solve problems created by the event. It doesn't make sense to me to clean up oil contamination using chemicals that may have a worse effect on the environment. Our Natural Choices? product line was specifically developed for consumer use and contains effective ingredients which are non-irritating to most users (including wildlife) and are environmentally friendly. We are currently formulating and testing a product specifically for cleaning oil residue form wildlife for deployment into the contaminated region."

Lets hope they go with more than 1 company..being BUGS is out of California might not be a good thing either..Time will tell..
I tried to be a good guy and give you an professionals take on BUGS action.
BUGS is slowly drifting to next support/bounce level of .0070. If you want to add wait till that number. Bounce won't be that big though. Might be good for 20-25% before eventually touching long term support of .0050. Dead money play without some pumper PR from the company.
Like moths to a porch light.
ohhh come on ... i wanna see this in green :(
Oil Eating Microbes will be needed by Cities/States/Countries that are well Inland as soon as 1 or more Hurricanes pick up the oil and carry it to people's lives far removed from the Gulf.
Cleaning issues far and wide will develop for many many companies.
This is the worst case scenario unfolding before our eyes folks.
Cheers
within the next days and weeks bp as well as the politicians will come more and more under pressure to find new successfull and green solutions...
and bugs really can and hopefully will be a part and partner therefore.

Dr. Doom Of the Oil Spill Calls BP's (BP) Relief Wells a "Sham", Says Nuclear Option Needed
11:46 am ET 07/07/2010 - StreetInsider
Matt Simmons of Simmons & Company discussed the nuclear option to stop BP's (NYSE: BP) runaway well in the Gulf on CNBC.
Simmons said due to the pressure form the blowout, the casing around the well is unlikely intact and therefore the relief wells will unlikely work. He calls the relief wells a "sham." Simmons said the only option that will work is a small nuclear bomb that can close off the well. Russians used nukes to stop runaway wells before, but only on land not underwater. Simmons claims testings has been done underwater.
Furthermore, Simmons claims there could be 120,000 barrels of oil sweeping into the gulf per day, which is much higher than the 50,000-80,000 estimate. He said the spill could create a Gulf of Mexico that is 40 without oxygen.
Simmons has been the most outspoken critic of BP and has called "Dr. Doom of the Gulf oil spill".
Shares of BP have come off the highs following comments from Simmons, although it is unclear if the stock's action is related to his comments.
BP has rallied 22% from its June 28th U.S. low as investor sentiment turns more positive.

Spill spells more trouble for Florida real estate
11:11 am ET 07/07/2010- Reuters
* Pensacola condos eerily vacant in resort's high season
* Rental agents say bookings down by more than half
* Veteran realtor fears "cesspool of oil"
By Michael Peltier
PENSACOLA BEACH, Fla., July 7 (Reuters) - Chris Reid was pumped. After suffering through a few years of tight credit and the U.S. housing meltdown, the Pensacola-based realtor was ready to sell some beach-front property. Summer was coming and that is the region's busiest season.
All that changed after the April 20 explosion on BP'S <BP.L> <BP.N> Deepwater Horizon drilling rig which killed 11 people and burst an oil well, currently spewing up to 60,000 barrels of crude into the Gulf each day.
Now Reid is hoping for the best as she faces a catastrophe that threatens not only her livelihood but her way of life.
"We're water people," she says of herself and husband, Robert, who moved from the mountains to be near the shore.
"This is why we're here," she said, pointing at the Gulf from a vacant 13th floor condominium unit she's trying to sell for a client at the Portifino Towers on the east end of Pensacola Beach.
Condominiums that would normally be packed with summer guests are eerily vacant as people shun the once-pristine beaches that usually attract them to the region in droves this time of year.
Some rental agents say bookings are down by more than half as cancellations mount and visitors that do arrive cut short their visits in the face of health advisories, tar balls, heavy machinery and orange-vested cleanup crews brought on to keep the beaches clean.
On the sales front, coastal realtors say it's simply too early to tell what impact the BP spill will have on a market that was just getting back on its feet from a real estate bubble that burst in 2006, sending stratospheric prices back to earth.
But there are widespread concerns about the long-term effects if the spill knocks out fishing and other water-based activities that are major draws along this stretch of beach just east of the Alabama-Florida line.
Such losses affect not only property owners, but the local governments that rely on property taxes to keep the lights on.
On paper, the results are mixed. Pensacola area home sales jumped 14 percent in May from a year earlier, fueled in part by median prices that fell by 13.5 percent. Farther east in Panama City, home sales were slightly stronger, posting a 17 percent gain year over year.
Condominium sales, however, were much weaker. While condo sales in Florida shot up by 40 percent in May from a year earlier, sales in the Pensacola area fell 7 percent and they were down 17 percent in Panama City.
"We were all looking forward to the summer season," Reid said. "We were gearing up for what we thought was going to be a busy time. I was excited. We all thought, 'Here we go.'"
BANNER SEASON BECOMES NIGHTMARE
Noel Faddis, owner of Realty Marts International, has been selling property in the area since 1963. He and his wife have helped develop much of Pensacola Beach. During that time, they've survived hurricanes, tropical storms and most recently the housing crisis. They were starting to hit their stride again without having to dip into reserves to make ends meet.
The oil spill changed all that.
"It was just a nightmare from day one," Faddis said. "What looked like a banner season has turned out to be anything but."
Instead of jammed streets and no vacancy signs, hotels are cutting deals while condominiums and time shares are eerily vacant. That's not good in a region where profits are made or lost in the three months between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
"If we come in around 50 percent of what we normally do this time of year we'll be doing good," Faddis said. "We're looking for BP to make up the difference."
Many condo owners use summer rental income to help pay mortgage costs and condominium fees. A dearth of renters means some owners will soon be in over their heads and have to sell or face foreclosure, a prospect unheard of only a few years ago when values were skyrocketing and the economy strong.
"We have many friends here who own condos on the beach and they don't have a booking all summer. I mean it's killing them," said Barbara Summermeyer, a Pensacola summer resident.
"They will lose the condos and end up going into foreclosure because they have mortgages and no rent."
LOCAL GOVERNMENTS FEEL THE PAIN
And owners are not the only ones hurting. A drop in sales is prompting local governments to seek help as the ripple effect spreads quickly throughout Florida's economy, highly dependent on property taxes and other revenue derived from real estate transactions.
University of Central Florida economist Sean Snaith has pegged the economic loss from the oil spill to the state's tourist-dependent Gulf coastal economies at a minimum of $2.2 billion and 39,000 jobs. And while no one knows with any certainty what the long-term effects will be, Faddis said the results can't be good.
"Hurricanes are life changing experiences but this goes far beyond that," Faddis said.
"We don't know from day to day what's going to happen. The longer it spills out from the well, the worse it's going to get. If they don't get it stopped soon, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that the Gulf is going to be a cesspool of oil."
Realtors will be looking at BP to make things right. But with vacancies mounting and the oil still spewing, that too is becoming more of an unknown.
"The worrisome thing for me is whether BP has the pockets that are deep enough to make everybody whole," Faddis said.
"The rippling effect across the economy is staggering. I just can't imagine the amount of money it's going to take to settle these claims." (Additional reporting by Ben Gruber; editing by Jerry Norton)

based on you first statement you can go to hell. i own bugs along with other oil clean up stock and they all make totally different clean up products but have to compete with other companies that make similar products. if bugs was the only oil eaten microbe company out there then the stock would be worth $10-20 by now be real. i cleaned my files a little while back but should be able to afew. hear are a few mico-tes,Osprey Biotechnics, Ensolve biosystems, RF waste water in Raleigh, ABS inc. there is another one around for about ten or more years called something tec usa. cant remember the right name but they are bigger than all the companies listed. they sell all over the world and was on you tube months ago. now when you try to find them everything comes up BP gulf.i dont have the time anymore to look for this stuff. just remember every company has competition.
