Thats a very real possibility.Question to me is Who and Why? I just checked FINRA and found under CHXMF on Friday there was 28,100 shares traded of which 24,100 were short sold. With numbers like that there is no way the stock can move up. I like this company but still have not spoken to them. Check FINRA daily.
I think someone is manipulating this stock down. When I purchase shares it is usually brought back down with very little volume. Who is only going to sell 100 shares or so at this price? Notice this?
Cash Minerals Ltd acquired the entire share capital of Tau Mining Ltd, a platinum and nickel mining company, from Dynamite Resources Ltd. In consideration thereof, Cash Minerals has issued 22,750,000 common shares of Cash Minerals (the "Cash Shares") and 11,375,000 common share purchase warrants of Cash Minerals (the "Cash Warrants") (the Cash Shares and Cash Warrants collectively referred to as the "Cash Securities") to Dynamite. Each Cash Warrant entitles the holder thereof to acquire one Cash Share at an exercise price of $0.10 at any time prior to May 5, 2011. The Cash Securities have been distributed to Dynamite shareholders as at the close of business on May 5, 2009 as part of the plan of arrangement between Dynamite and Avion Resources Corp. that was completed on May 6, 2009 (See Dynamite Press Releases dated May 6, 2009 and March 19, 2009.
Where do they get cash or is it an earn in?
They picked it up last year from Dynamite Resources. The Kokomeren, Barskaun, Arabeslsu and Moldatu properties (collectively the "Kyrgyz Properties") represent four mineral licences located in the Kyrgyz Republic. Gold/uranium.
No ,not really. The Werneckes is where I thought there Ur. was. Really got hammered today.Currie has to start something soon, press releases on what they are planning to do soon
Do you know anything about Cash's Kyrgyz uranium properties? Seems like a very good location near China. This is from an article in the wall street journal. In January, China shipped in around 3,337 metric tons of uranium, with 57% coming from Kazakhstan and smaller volumes from Russia, Namibia and Uzbekistan. Import volumes were up more than 10 times year-to-year. Thanks Lb.
Thank you! And creating this board has been a real pleasure!
Hello SP. I got that from Mr. Currie. Sounds promising. I picked up some shares today. Lb.
Hello. Hopefully things will start to look better soon. I got that info from the CEO, Mr. Currie. Btw, thank you for creating this board. Lb.
Thats great to know. Who is this? The post sounds like you are Currie, new CEO
How did you get the info you posted here... if I may ask?
Since assuming responsibilities for Cash Minerals in January, I have been reviewing all assets of the company, particularly the uranium assets.
You are correct that the Division Mountain Coal project is a good asset. Its future development is probably related to the outcome of current initiatives of the Yukon Government towards determination of their policies for Independent Power Providers (IPP) which might allow for construction of new power stations by independent operators. We currently have a consultant in Whitehorse participating in this review process and I am monitoring this process carefully.
Meanwhile, I am working towards a new corporate strategy for Cash which will be unveiled shortly.
Lanablue, If your in at 5 cents with that many shares I think your in a great position .I have shares in stocks like AGT and NXG which are both well under what I paid. I cannot bring myself to sell companies that are solid investments even if your typical trader would call me an idiot.CASH is going to go One way or the other but WHEN? If it retreats you have not lost a fortune but if it goes well you could have 20 times investment.I would like to know 1 deciding question about CHXMF. Is management trying to prolong the death to keep their salaries going ? ,or Are they going to shoot the moon. Go for it.Make the venture exchange know that they will be a dollar plus company within 1 year starting now. They have got to make bold decisions soon. Who knows . Maybe its in the works. I know they read these posts. I wish they would respond. They will have new shareholders if they do.
Hello. I started buying when the share price fell to .13 and thought, wow it's cheap , could'nt go any lower. Ha! I got suckered. Now my average pps is .05. I guess my average now isnt too bad. Maybe Mr. Currie will resuscitate Cash. Maybe we should email him with our recommendations. Thanks. Lb
I would agree ,the coal prospect is the more prudent risk. They might have some great geologicals on their uranium assets but with the coal they are already talking RESERVES. They get sidetracked again by thinking about coal to liquid prospect. A great idea but they have no money. I dont know why they cannot focus on one thing . It is the downfall of all start-up companies. They draw shareholders with grandeose schemes then after selling off over a hundred mil. shares they realize they need ALOT more money. Then the share price drops to where we are now. Did you buy in back in the glory dayswhen Caseys was there biggest fan or more recently?Thats a summed up version of what happened to CASH. In truth I think they COULD be a great investment if they start by explaining what there plan is.,Southpen
I also read there was an insider buy but cant confirm it.
Hello. I think Cash should start the Division mountain. Everything I've read about it is a win. Open pit mining, location, port of skagway, quality of the resource, rate of return and huge resource increase potential. I dont think it could better. If they went this way, I think it would bring in alot of investors. I'm up to 165k shares, so i'm really hoping. LB
If the company makes the decision to explore Uranium assets they have, thats fine with me .However ,I would like to know what reason they have to keep the coal properties when they badly need funding. You cannot keep trying to advance The Coal Prospect or The Uranium Prospect. One should be sold. If management believes the Uranium properties can be explored and proven then a shareholder has to rely on their expertise and wait but I see no valid reason to dilute any more.If they do ,then they are just the same as a lot of other nanocaps that will not survive.A good example is Tournigan Energy which had Uranium properties in the U. S. and Slovakia as well as Gold properties . They took their most near term asset (Uranium in Slovakia ) and advanced it with funding from The sale of EVERYTHING ELSE. It was a good shot for a dying company and it all would have brought the share price back, unfortunately a ruling that Uranium mining should be voted on locally will most likely kill the project. In this case the environmentalists were wrong. The point is Tournigan did what Cash should do as far as focusing on one project, they just picked the wrong one.All the more reason why management should outline HOW,they will succeed with the Uranium prospect,Southpen
This was emailed to someone and posted on another forum. The response from Doug Currie
Thank you for contacting us.
As you are probably aware, Cash Minerals has been pretty inactive for almost two years. Since my appointment in January I have been reviewing current assets, primarily the Wernecke uranium properties and a few scattered gold/base metal properties, including the Mike Lake project, in the Yukon and becoming familiar with various outstanding corporate issues.
At the same time I have been reviewing some exciting new opportunities upon which to rebuild the company, with a continued focus on uranium/energy projects.
I hope that we will be able to make an announcement on the new direction of the Company shortly.
Thanks for your patience and support.
Regards
Doug
When I buy into CASH.It will be when they determine which resource they will go forward with . THE URANIUM OR THE COAL. They just cant do both. THEY have to make up there minds and sell one to explore the other. They cant dilute any more until they are diluting for a reason other than paying there own salaries. This company has 1 year to work things out or die. I am hoping for a success story here which is within there grasp.,SOUTHPEN
Nothing newsy since Jan. 15th this year...
Anything new with Cash Minerals? Are you buying?
I would agree the potential for the coal resource is huge. The problem I have with CASH is they spend money and time on uranium property that they cannot afford to drill. At 150 m plus shares they cannot dilute unless they are proving a reserve (coal). It is Thermal coal whos uses have already been spoken about. If there is any coking coal there then the property would become more valuable. Coking coal can burn much hotter than thermal which is nessesary for steel works. I do not know whether the two types of coal could be in the same deposit.Either way the coal prospect is why I am interested in CASH. I personally like Uranium, hate coal but Cash has a property that could send coal right to Asia via I think ,The Port of Stewart. Southpen
Thnks for the link. I learned something. Looks like Division mountain is high quality and whats measured there is only 5% of it. Huge potential there.
From the website - Coal Projects
http://www.cashminerals.com/main/?coalProjects
Cash Minerals holds a measured resource of 52.5 million tonnes of high Volatile "B" Bituminous coal at the Division Mountain coal property located in the Yukon Territory. The potential exists to provide this coal as feedstock for a mine-mouth power station.
In addition, Cash Minerals is currently investigating opportunities in China to use Fischer-Tropsch technology to produce clean-burning alternative fuels from coal. The outlook for alternative fuels is extremely positive. Products produced from coal would include high quality sulphur-free gasoline, diesel/distillate fuel and propane.
From the World Coal Institute -
http://www.worldcoal.org/coal/what-is-coal/
Their charts say "B" can be used for both power generation and "coking" for steel...
Southpen I apologize for that link. The part for steel prod. is cut off.
Hello. Well from this article it says used for steel production which I assume is coking. http://goliath.ecnext.com/coms2/gi_0199-3902645/Cash-Minerals-Ltd-43-101.html
I thought thier coal was thermal (feedstock) for a power plant
I also agree. That coking-coal is the reason im buying shares.
I would agree that CASH should focus on less properties. Since I am new to the board I know very little about CASH as far as public opinion goes.I would like to know why the company does not focus mainly on the coal asset since it would seem to be ready to be mined,or am I wrong about that .Any comments would be appreciated, southpen
Good, these folks are smart enough to do business lean and focussed. I'm fine with that scenario for both companies.
Some newsletter may be mass marketing... dunno!
Hello FJ. Do you have any ideas why Cash Minerals traded over 6 million shares today? Thanks
Cash Minerals Ltd. TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Dec. 18, 2009) - Cash Minerals Ltd. ("Cash Minerals")(TSX VENTURE:CHX) announces that it has agreed to terminate its agreement to acquire the Agnew Lake properties (the "Transaction") from Nyah Resources Corp. ("Nyah"). The termination of the agreement between Cash Minerals and Nyah has resulted from Nyah terminating its agreement to acquire Russo-Forest Corporation ("Russo-Forest")(see Nyah press release of December 18, 2009). As Nyah has terminated its agreement with Russo-Forest, Nyah has also decided to not sell substantially all of its current assets to Cash Minerals.
As a result, Cash Minerals will not issue to Nyah an aggregate of 15,000,000 common shares and 7,500,000 share purchase warrants of
Updated i-Box... hopefully helpful to folks.
The lowest I could get today was .0385 . Huge spread. Well I wont be complaining if it ever goes back to .38 .
I'm CHXMF from Chicago as well - but now in the DC area. I'll be there for Thanksgiving.
FJ, thank you. Tried to buy 20k more shares today but didnt hit my price. Do you trade CHXMF.V or CHXMF? Im CHXMF, from Chicago.
Absolutely... consider it done. I have taken the extra step of giving you the first member mark for participating here... it is appreciated.
Only the highest and best.
FJ, If any new rumors or news breaks on Cash Minerals would you post it please? Thanks.
Here too... the pps is going to explode soon from this major consolidation... watching closely for fireworks.
Any opinions on Cash Minerals 2 million Debt financing? Cant believe its price is 3.5 cents. I own 143k shares and buying. Whats gonna happen when they announce the re-opening of the Agnew Lake mine? The mine is was already bilt by Kerr Addison for $74 million. Now all they have to do is re-open it for a fraction of that. A steal! Thats the way I see it.
News drought is exceptional...
Looks like 3.5 cents is the bottom here...
