Don't you think SOLF is eyed by the shorts, I haven't heard any big institution mention anything good about it. especially on "Fast Money'- and those guys are sharp. I'd like to take a ride on SOLF but I'm too familiar with TSL.
I'm buying TSL at 31 if it hits it again. the report this morning was awesome. but I guess there were too many shorts selling into it, its a shame. I didn't like the CEO resigning, i thought the earnings report was going to suck and thats why he left.
i didn't have a pos because i sold my shares and call options yesterday @34. I'm thinking of picking up the Sep 35 calls. because its trading in that channel, i feel like its got to break 38 to jump back in.
unfortunately, the charts are forming a bearish pattern. there was huge volume today too, to the positive side, that scares me.
I'm presently playing SIGM and ETFC with huge pos and calls, it scares me but things are looking very good as of today.
I'm also holding TTM because they want to buy the Jaguar brand from ford. should hit 20 buy sep.
I'm thinking of MBI for a speculation play.
thanks for your thoughts, we'll keep in touch.
feel free to reply
Hello DoctaBis,
Trina is starting a trading range between 29--39.37. Significant price and Fib resistance around 39.37, and as a result, don't forecast Trina getting back to 70 in the near future.
If you are nimble enough and have the cash, think Trina will have good buy/sell signals while it consolidate. If you are wanting to speculate on a solar, my current suggestion would be SOLF as it's at trendline support and the price trend has a positive divergence with MFI on the daily charts. #board-8187
GL on whatever you do.
hi frenchee,
I've been in and out of TSL alot.
I had to close TSL pos today @34 from 31.
I really want it to go back to the 70 but i think the shorts are taking over. What you think?
I have shorted at the 67 to 54.
I like this so much i can't bring myself to short it again at this level. I will open large again @29-30. I sold the mar. calls today too. I didn't want to do it. if it hits 31 again i'll go long with a small pos.
let me know what you think. You think they bring this IPO down like all the others or does TSL have something SPIR and YGE doesn't have.

Miss your earnings target by a nickle and get clocked 24%? Overdone. Today's candlestick is way outside lower BB and with its long shadow suggesting investor's psy could be changing. I'm on alert for a move back toward filling today's gap.
68-73 has been significant resistance.
Looks like the short-term run is loosing steam. I've tightened up my stops accordingly...
Looks like a double bottom on the daily charts has occured within the last couple of days. Nice volume and momentum indicators are turning up...
I like the last numbers they release but the market react badly.
Strange....
Look cheap If you compare to others Solar stock.
Looks like it's catching again...
make that way too early...now in the 62s
looks like I sold too early
keeps on trucking...sold half at 54.25 for 18% gain over the past week...will let the rest ride a little as long as it stays strong
Sold my position at the close as TSL is overextended on the daily chart. Moved proceeds into beaten down AUY.
Good accumulation tatic for TSL is buy when price < 5-day EMA and > 20-day SMA of price. This will get you buying on the dips in an intermediate up trend.
Other solar stocks I monitor you might be interested in too...
I like this one as well..
from the looks of this chart - this baby is going up.
TSL trading on the North side of its 21-day SMA. Looks like a start of a good run coming...
