Nice to hear from you. I look forward to this forum and the input you provide.
I shall lurk in the background with my bundle of shares. This little company is expected to do well by years end. I have spoken with someone in the know and it is felt that the company very well could be at break even or eek out a small profit. This would be fantastic to see as it continues to grow itself.
I think this company is headed for AMEX not the otcbb.
I am buying more anytime I can for now.
TRBI....Long and buying
BNPD....Long and buying
Is anyone aware of when TRBI may make it onto the bulletin board?
These posts are encouraging. There are many people reading this message board that want to buy this stock; permit me to add my consequences. Of course, the larger market exposer is required.
TransferOrbit Adds Ten California Cities to Its TU-DNRO Portable Transfer Network
SAINT LOUIS, MO -- (Marketwire) -- 10/08/08 -- TransferOrbit Corporation (PINKSHEETS: TRBI) (www.transferorbit.biz) -- Following a successful pilot in Vallejo, California, and in collaboration with TU-DNRO (the exclusive provider of financial services for Dance-Concert Promoters, Flea Market Vendors, Catering Truck Vendors, Mom & Pop Mexican Stores and others), has expanded its membership initiative now to ten more cities in Northern California.
The TU-DNRO powered by TransferOrbit Network will now service Stockton, Modesto, Lodi, Brentwood, Sacramento, Merced, Tracy, Fairfield Manteca and Livermore, California. This follows through with the announced expansion of its membership drives over all Proociones Valdivia and El Mexicano Presenta events in California.
"In this market environment where all investors are worried about mainstream stocks, it is time that they wake up to real growth opportunities: the Mexican market in the US," said Jorge Toro, President and CEO. "We have a captive audience of 17 million customers, through our exclusive agreement with TU-DNRO, we have secured more that 128 million impressions per month for the TransferOrbit brand through our advertising contract with Ad-Promo-Mex-Tel. Our brand, along with TU-DNRO will be recognized by millions of Mexican Nationals in the US within a year."
In a letter to TransferOrbit, TU-DNRO Executives stated: "We the investors-shareholders principals and executive officers of Ad-Promo-Mex-Tel inc and TU-DNRO Inc. hereby pledge that we will embark on a national campaign starting with California, the state with the 2nd largest population of Mexican nationals next to the country of Mexico and the biggest sender of remittances to Mexico. We will follow with Texas and Illinois and other states with large populations of Mexicans, including New Mexico, Arizona and others. Our goal is to register 1,000,000 members in California in one year and 4 to 5 million in the next year, and go for all the market in the following two years. We can do this since we have the largest Mexican market distribution in the USA with our catering trucks, vendors, concerts, dances and the thousands of Mexican grocery stores in the designated states. Why, you ask, is that every Mexican will sign up and remit their money with us? Very simply put by our chairman, Gonzalo Moya, who has been in the Mexican market all his life (65 years old and his father before him and his grandfather totaling more than a century in that unique market). He and we quote, 'My father once told me that he had met in his life all types of Mexicans, rich, poor, indigenous, caucasians, dark hair, blonde hair, black Mexicans, Asian Mexicans, all types, but he further stated, "Hijo (son) I never met a stupid Mexican." Since we have the least expensive rate, $ 6.00 for an immediate transfer to Mexico, why would they not remit with us? Remember the quote above. All we have to do is let them know about the product with our national campaign and bingo there goes the ballgame. And that is what we will accomplish with this campaign. So wake up and smell those refried beans.'"
The TU-DNRO Network provides their distributors (Dance-Concert Promoters, Flea Market Vendors, Catering Truck Vendors, Mom & Pop Mexican Stores and others), with a comprehensive package of products, services, and tools to manage and grow a portfolio of prepaid distribution. Their Mexican-Latino business provides the backbone network to offer a wide range of prepaid products including wireless e-pins, long distance, stored value, prepaid debit/credit, bill payment, money transfers and other products, all running in virtually every POS terminal in the field. They work in conjunction with Ad-Promo-Mex-Tel, which has been promoting Mexican Dances, Concerts and other venues pertaining to Mexican history in California, Illinois, Texas and others for more than 75 years combined. Their Market is the Mexican National living in the U.S.A. who sends $22 billion every year, and spends over $600 billion in the United States. They have over 800 strategic pre-paid ticket centers in California, Nevada, Texas and Arizona that sell the Dance-Concert tickets, and can convert them easily into P.O.S.s and/or Kiosk Centers. In addition, TU-DNRO Inc. also has agreements with Lunch Truck Owners/Operators that can distribute and sell their products all over the Country.

Yeah, Bob. Just let the board sit here, please, even if little to nothing gets said on it for the time being. Maybe at some point we'll be glad to have it. If it's no work for you, it seems to me good to just let it be till then.
WARNING
To all of you who were involved as shareholders of Medirect Latino
Inc. I have been notified that Raymond Talarico is involved in another company by the name of American Pacific Rim. If you should be approached be very careful. We must all learn from our mistakes.
Everything sounds great till the flames of fire have burned you once.
Bob, I would leave it up and check it maybe once a week. I think it's good to have the board here.
I am very much thinking of pulling down this message board. There is really nothing to discuss on this company an they have become very tight liped as to what they want us to know and not know. This is a very GOOD thing as they are acting very professional and as if they are trading other than on the pinks.
Give me your thoughts on this although I have pretty much made up my mind. In no way do I wish to cheapen their image and at this point I do not see this board helping. It is not like we don't hear from them. They do put out news when something is news worthy.
I have asked the compny numerous times for some numbers to let us know how they are doing. They choose to say nothing and I respect that (as I have no choice).
I have a lot more interesting and important things to do between projects with work and family. Yes I own a lot of shares in this company and yes I continue to be (REAL) long on this company.
Hi, Bob.
You are quite right. This is a capitalist board, run by you, the capitalist who started it. Anyone wanting a "soviet people's republic" board can go to China and start their own.
Bob, it is not my goal to make enough from my investment in TRBI to live the rest of my life in retired status! LOL! I will be happy if I make back anything close to my original investment! LOL!
But YES, certainly we want to see TRBI be as successful as possible! No doubt! And no reason to argue here on this board.
I am the board monitor and will do as I see fit. No one else took the time to set up this board so it gives me some rights. I have the right to pick and choose who may be seen on this board. I am having some fun right now as there is almost nothing verbal coming out of TRBI. If you don't like what you see here go play in the next sandbox. We all have the same common goal and that is to make enough from our investment in TRBI to live the rest of our lives in a retired status. The only difference I have is I want my retired status to be on my ship with a Long Island Ice Tea in hand with a bunch of beautiful women fanning both my wife and I.
Joel,
What I said is what I would like to see, not what I expect the price to be. Remember I am the monitor of this board therefore I weild a big stick... Gee did I say that? It must be going to my head. Heck you have to have some funny on this sick sick planet of ours.
Whew! Those financials! STILL dropping and STILL more bad news to come! FRE ended at 46 cents today! FORTY-SIX CENTS! Who, except for the few who might have been privy to the terrible mess so many financial moguls were making of things, would EVER have supposed we'd see Freddie Mac at FORTY-SIX CENTS? And Fannie Mae closed at around 75 cents! Lehman Bros? $3.65! Citigroup? $17.96! Merrill Lynch? $17.05! Even Goldman Sachs has plunged from a high of $250 to $150.
I am not getting anywhere NEAR the financials for now. We ain't done yet---not by a long shot!
All this is to say, with regard to TRBI(and the other spin-offs)---that it could very well be a good, long time before we see real fruit from our investment. No matter. The shares are just sitting tucked away in my portfolio... Que cera, cera...
I am glad to see some conversation about TRBI going on, but would greatly appreciate NOT having to read puerile verbiage like "b__ched me out" when I come here. "Got angry with me" would do just fine, and would not drag the conversation through the gutter.
Thank you.
You are SOOOO!!! welcome!
It's great fun to read about you, Bob.
Thanks for the information, shepard 1. Expect to be told, "this is not another Med-Latino," for using this message board in a casual conversation with co-investors as intended.
I would agree that I many of us have high hopes for this company. But, as we know, wishing for a price is more to be based on when TransferOrbital makes it onto the bulletin board rather than a time frame. I would hope that if it makes it onto the bb by the end of the year, then a $1/share price would be a reasonable expectation.
I don't have time to look back. My life is in the fast track going forward. SOOOOOOOOOOOO
Bob, re-read your post #256, you know, the one where you bitched me out for wanting a forward looking projection on an investment like this, that is, a penny stock. You should get your answer there. SOOO!!!
It would be very nice to see this stock get close to 40 cents by the close on friday. It looks like it might have a new base at 20 cents. With some decent volume tomorrow we could see 35 cents. I'm still thinkin we could see better than 1.00 by the end of the year.
I believe "the love of money is the root of all evil," and certainly the idea of making money because a company's stock tanks gives rise to efforts by the unscrupulous to try to hurt the company in order to help its share price drop.
And shorting is apparently not necessary for the health of the markets. Someone said, for instance, that there has never been any shorting in the real estate market.
To each their own. I just don't like the concept and won't be a part of it.
It's a free country, Bob. I have done precious little shorting, but I respect those who are able to do so LEGALLY,(not naked shorting) and so to make money on the up and the down. I believe it would be difficult to impossible for folks to do options without such a thing as betting on the short side.
I don't do shorting, don't like it and don't want it pulled on me.
I have never been any good at all at shorting, but would have been great to have sold FRE short at around 27 dollars!
Bought more FRE today at.77 cents. Will put it away for the grandkids
Freddie and Fannie - Ooch! Ouch! Ooch!!!
But at least it looks as if, with this bail-out by the gummint, we may see the very beginnings of an economic recovery...though the media generally make their call too early.
As I mentioned, derivatives and credit card debt still have yet to hit the fan...
Regulators shut failed Silver State Bank in Nevada; 11th bank failure this year
WASHINGTON (AP) -- Regulators on Friday shut down Silver State Bank, saying the Nevada bank failed because of losses on soured loans, mainly in commercial real estate and land development.
It was the 11th failure this year of a federally insured bank.
It's an excellent time to buy precious metals---gold and silver. In these very uncertain, perilous times, it is, to my mind, and in my opinion, a necessity for one to have a portion of one's portfolio in precious metals. They have, in 5,000 years of recorded history, never completely lost their value.
At the end of the Civil War, what was the difference between those southerners who put their faith in gold and silver and those who put their faith in Confederate dollars?
Hi, Bob.
For most of us, it is very dangerous to mess with the financials right now. There is still lots more mess to come. There is a phenomenon called "derivatives" that has not even hit the fan yet, and of course, credit card debt is going to bite this country on both hind cheeks one day. Both those phenomena are going to take down some Big players in the not too distant future.
Do you know that WAMU, (Washington Mutual bank) is STILL offering balance transfers at ZERO percent interest and ZERO transaction charge? I just paid off my Discover card balance of about 6500 dollars by doing a balance transfer to a WAMU credit card. It cost me NOTHING to do so, and all I will have to do for the next 6 months is make my minimum balance payment of about 130 dollars.
As the 6 months comes to a close, I will probably STILL be able to find ANOTHER credit card to which to transfer the remaining balance at ZERO percent interest, with, most likely, a cap of 75 to 99 dollars transaction fee charge, and ANOTHER 12 months to pay.
Advanta Business card is the most amazing company in the business of balance transfers. They do balance transfers at ZERO percent interest for FIFTEEN MONTHS with a cap of 75 dollars on the transaction fee!
It's CRAZY for financial institutions to still be doing this kind of thing in today's economic climate, but they are!
Warning: I am able to take advantage of these screwy doings by these companies because first of all, IF I ever had to pay off the full amount of the balance transfer, I could do so immediately with no problem. Secondly, I avoid the possibility of being hit with a TWENTY-EIGHT PERCENT INTEREST RATE for a missed payment, by IMMEDIATELY going to my computer on the day my bill arrives and making the minimum payment on line.
In any event, from all I have been told by my financial advisors, financials are not yet out of the woods by any means.
A good weekend to all!
You are correct and it will be worse at the open. When you belly fish you learn to take most off the table at the end of the week.I took 3/4 off on friday so that if monday is at 10 cents I am still well ahead. One should never be a pig when scraping the bottom of the barrel. This is a hard choice now as do I throw even more into trbi as it is beginning to rise? I would really be countering what I just wrote about being a pig. Well I have all weekend to think about this one as we go through "HANNA".
Freddie Mac dropped 20.78 percent after hours on announcement that Government may well bail out FRE, in which case, common shareholders would be wiped out... ???
I am belly laughing with FRE as I bottom fished and caught a whale. Also was a nice day for TRBI even though it did not close at its high. I should have a day like this every day and I could retire.
This is very good time to buy GSX, too, a low-priced gas stock that people close to me who are very up on gas and oil say could be a thirty-bagger one day. Freddie Mac... from what I hear, the financials still have a good deal more down side. But then, no one has a crystal ball...
Market maker held the ask at .20 cents all day. He was not interested in trying to attract a buyer at a lower price. Hope this is a trend to try to raise the ask.
Do I see a trend forming here. 15,000 shares traded friday and 15,000 traded today. .095 to .10 both days. HUM!!!
Had an email from someone close to the company. Things are progressing well although it is expected to take the company another 12 to 18 months before significant progress is seen. As long as I continue to hear progress is being made I have no problem waiting. This as everyone I think realizes is not the best of times to grow a start up company. The company continues to receive funding when necessary which in these times is a very significant positive thing. The share price means nothing while on the pinks and all should disregard share price until it makes it over to the BB or Amex. I have been using the 10cent price as a buying opportunity to load up. By no means do I suggest this to others. I like to bottom fish and be aggressive .I am also buying Freddie Mac.
Up 10% today---KOWABUNGA! Time will tell...
Arb, please see message 287. LOL! Same problem as before. Be careful or the market maker will turn you into "Arbo's Roast Beef!"
OTC and Big Board cannot come soon enough for me.
Nice volume today but market maker would not jump the ask with 13,000,7000,6000 share trades. So what's the problem?????
