I would love being wrong about TIVU!
Let's see what unfolds. But I expect nothing as nothing about Shiva and his ability to manage either the assets or the sentiments of his public company and shareholders shows me that he hasn't a clue about what he has taken on, other than selling shares at a discount. We'll see and I certainly wish you the very best.
Although I respect you OPINION, I must say I disagree. From my DD I have it to be a man that has had his problems sure, but the kind that can be rectified and I do believe there will be a time that money can be made. IMO of course.
I contend that he was much more than that!
After all, he promoted further scamming
well after the facts of his failure had
become widely understood and accepted.
As for HOPE, watch his IPTV interview!
Nah, not just another guy, but rather the guy who conned us. LOL
Who the hell cares? Reasd the article published in the Omaha paper. I am not defending anyone, just correcting a false statement that this was a scam. This was just another guy with an idea who thought he could turn it into a viable compaony and failed miserably. Happens everyday.
Agreed, but I have to say, I enjoy the feeling of nakedness!
Lito
Exactly! Who could forget that? Lol Weeee!!
OK.... And a bills they will be paying!
You say tomato, I say scam.
Just trying to pay the bills. What else does a broke company use for currency?
And the 1 billion share dump in Sept?
There was no scam. Just a failed company with a crappy manager. The placement of the Tivus system in the Omaha Doubletree and Mariott occurred though they were flushed at both places.
Get your facts straight.
A scam is a scam.....we were duped nicely. Shiva is a Vegas man
Does anyone have a link or any other official confirmation that the Philly Marriott has indeed, or intends to, have the Tivus system removed from their hotel? Because, as of right now, the Marriott picture is still up on Tivus' website. During the CC, Shiva said that there was NO reason why Marriott would not sign the contract within the next 60 days. That 60 days have come and long gone, so what has changed? Why, after so many months, would Marriott all of a sudden be so unhappy, that they would shop around for another provider? Is it even true? If it isn't true, where is the contract? Why is it so hard to get information out of a public company?
Sometimes hope aint so bad, lol. GLTU
The tech is no different than the tech of a number of other companies. The only difference is the business model, which any company could adopt.
When I posted this a few weeks ago about Randall Francis, his LinkedIn indicated that he had left Tivus. Now it appears that he has revised it so show that he is still working for Tivus, as well as for Hospitality IPTV...

.
We have been shown nothing, even rumors of the initial install being canned. I am stuck here, so all I have left is hope. Enjoy!
I understand your position, I just think the tech is there so I hold out hope. GLTU
no there's not. the product is junk. Philly Marriott had it removed. the Omaha DT supposedly was getting it installed in 400+ rooms, but then apparently decided to only have it on their lobby TV's.
this company is so in debt that it would take multiple large installs just to get into the black. and so far they've failed miserably on delivering what they promised on even 1 install.
there's no way this thing survives IMO.
But I do believe there is a product that can be sold and if the right investors get in then who know where it can go.
Jake...we have been here for years watching this thing. 2011 was going to be a great year. so was 2012. we've been "on the verge" of "big news" for a long, long time. no one believes the stuff you're trying to sell. i know you desperately want this thing to go somewhere, but it's not going to. your shares are worthless...you likely won't get a buyer at .0001. if you can, take it and run.
i don't know if they will get any buyers...i mean no one is interested in this thing at .0001, why would they be at a higher price? the only reason it's at .0001 is because it can't go any lower.
i don't think anyone believes this company is worth 8 figures right now...it just can't go any lower. but i think people are done buying the monopoly money that shiva is printing. i think it's dead.
IMO shiva will start up another bogus company (like MaxWIFI and now Tivus) and take another set of investors on a ride.
LMAO
so we're going to become a $300 million company now? in one year? because of one TV install that the hotel ended up removing??
either this is a weak attempt at a pump or your delusion is getting the best of you.
all IMHO, of course
I understand that, so what next, R/S then start over?
absolutely zero
has anyone even heard from Shiva in the last two months?
So do you think there is absolutely no hope for this company?
wow good info thank you
Ooohhh...let us not jump to conclusions. Let's see what time reveals about this. We do know SP has complained about previous employees attempting to run off with the Tivus template and strike out on their own, yes, but we can't say this is what has happened in this case. We need more info than we have right now. And we surely know who won't be giving it to us, don't we.
Spock....in deep cryogenic freeze. Carbonite, they call it now.
It appears that Mr. Randall Francis has decided to open his own company in NewZeland using our TiVus technology.

I am really hoping the Mayans are right too, cuz it is getting really painful holding all of these shares and trying to be nice, and give Mr. Prakash the benefit of the doubt here.
Lol...classic...Enjoy!
I think ole Shiva is hoping that the mayans are right, that way he doesn't have to face the music. Enjoy!
Oh so now it's 2013? Lol Weeee! Enjoy!
LIVE BY THE SWORD, DIE BY THE SWORD!
AND SHIVA ISN'T THAT SMART!
WANTED, CEO WITH COURAGE! LOL
Oh and this one?
I want you to be right more than anything. I gave Shiva a call about a week ago, the guy acted defensive, did not want to answer any questions and acted like I was trying to harass him. All I said was how are you doing and is the company still a viable entity.
Where are you getting your info from because it goes contrary to everything our eyes are seeing.
Sorry, this thing is dead right along with the technology. Its ok though, because I am sure good ole shiva is back in india. Enjoy!
Sorry if I'm not a impatient person like the rest of you. I believe IMHO 2013 will be a GREAT year for us. Expecting a lot of pr and marketing in place. The 4th and 5th is in progress and it will take time to mature. The new team members on board is hard at work and they will attract businesses with their marketing and innovation skills.
Mark my words, pps=.05++ 2013
GLTY
Sorry dude, that's a tough sell. Most people think Phase 4 is the bending and application of the lube. Phase 5, well I leave that one to your imagination.
Man of the Year
What happened to the Smart TV install here at Doubletree and Philly Marriott????

Bad market sector to be in.
Look how these middle men companies are getting hammered on their revenues. Probably will not be a sector for these companies in the future.
As the giant in this sector looses rooms, no company such as TIVUS is picking them up. The hotels are going with a "dumb" TV setup. All the while Shivus is hawking "Smart" TV's. LOL
What side of the trade are you on? Smart or Dumb??

Same can be said for Shivus?
LodgeNet is a provider of in-room entertainment and data services to hotels. Its operating results are subject to trends in consumer and corporate travel; the discretionary nature of traveler purchases; the unpredictable success of movies, which generate the majority of room revenue; and consumers' changing habits in accessing entertainment. We believe that increases in broadband access (complimentary or fee-based) in hotel rooms, along with growing usage of portable devices, will continue to reduce demand for LodgeNet's core on-demand movie services. Higher-margin guest entertainment revenue (about half of revenue) remains under secular pressure as a result of the increased penetration of broadband and high-speed cellular networks, combined with a shift by consumers to viewing more content online.
LNET, TIVUS others headed for bankruptcy?
S&P says the use of portable devices (BYOD), high spped cellular networks, high speed pipes into hotels, and viewers choosing to receive content online is putting the hurt on LNET !
11 mainstream hotel brands I have visited in the last 4 months have all 100% had their own entertainment package thus avoiding the middle men such as TIVUS, LNET and others.

Why/Did Philly Marriott Dump Shivus?
Well said mate. Whiny shareholders don't give up. 4th and 5th phase coming soon near you. 2013 will be a GREAT year!!!
Tivu to the moooooooon..... .05++
That was the most intelligent post on this board yet!
These systems will always exist (somehow) in the hospitality world. I had a recent visit with a few top execs and their development team for a major hotel chain -- they still envision the television (and the television systems) as an integral part for their room designs (5 year plan) for all areas of the world they serve.
However, they are very frustrated at the lack of innovation in the hospitality television industry -- so much so that they are looking into developing their own product to fit their vision (which is pretty impressive but technically doable!).
Even though TIVU offers a unique advertising component to its system (and appeals to some in the hospitality world, etc), it is not the game changer that everyone thinks it can be. It is clear to me that they are looking for something much more in terms of brand standards that integrates todays technology and "home" lifestyle -- with this, they can raise the rack rate and make money that way.
Now if only someone could invent a wifi system that would give strong signal with excellent bandwidth in hotels, then we would have something.....not the kind that you have on 2 or 3 rooms that have good, and the rest are shitty.
