P Genova conversation update
Hello to all. I think we should keep this first exchange of questions to 6 -8, because the answers will undoubtably lead to follow ups and net new too. So there's room for a few more, and if there are many more - then we can debate which go in the first set. My thoughts about the first set of questions will go out to him before this Sunday evening. I will send them in writing as I don't expect that he'll be taking notes during our conversations, but I will. If his answers to my inquiry about "alternate applications about the IP" includes DoD, then I will ask about federal grants and DARPA. I want this exchange to be as informative for him, as it will be for us. I think/hope he'll be intrigued.
Thanks for submitting.

BK
Trust me hypo the shots have called long prior to hargroves resignation. Do a deep dive into the most recent patents by Titan published and you will find your answer.
Mayo patent was officially granted in 2016 and licensed to titan
And please forgive my horrible verbiage. I'm using the audio component to write these posts, and sometimes the blasted computer does not recognize poetry, when it hears it. Damn auto spell and correct!!
Thanks very much BK and those sound like great points. But very much appreciate if you can update us on your discussions.
If there's any way you can not around to see what rolled plexus is playing or not playing at the moment that would also be great. Recent events and PR have talked a good game a good luck getting production up and running again, but we have actually not had any concrete update on the role of Plexus.
Re my gunpoint theory, this all has a fairly orchestrated feel to it. In my opinion long tie or someone similar has been calling the shots since hargrove's resignation. The turnaround time to get McNally and Genova in place has been very fast. Of course they would need mayoand Colombia's blessing, but I think there are others in the works here who are dangling the proverbial carrot in front of the Donkey
key at present. We'll see if that carrot materializes anytime soon, or whether investors got stuck at the ass end- smirk.
Thanks for your time and hope to hear more soon. All best.
One would suppose...my guess would be they are making the rudimentary tools while someone else is making the more advanced ones, like vessel sealers, harmonic scalpel like tool, etc
I wonder if mayo is still working on the stapler.
You know how Titan said they couldn't reveal the WW manufacturer of endomechanical devices because the parent company didn't want be revealed? If it was Microline, why would the CEO and engineers of Microline tout the fact that they are making tools on LinkedIn. Therefore there is another company as well I suppose.
That's what I'm thinking
Would be a great idea to research that. You might find some pretty compelling information
Which IP firm are they using?
I have exchanged messages too.
He's traveling the rest of this week.
Anyone have questions that they want me to ask?
I'm going for "what else can this IP do and how do we get a shorter timeline to FDA/CE?"
I wanted to get his opinion about the IP and possible alternate applications.
I'll follow up with "What is Titan's definition of a fully integrated console? And is it necessary for V1.0/FDA/CE?
I'm not going to ask about financing.

BK
What leads you to a "gunpoint" conclusion?
I can see a possibility for your thesis, as Longtai could understand the long-term affects of a distribution agreement in their area of the world and as a direct competitor of ISRG. Longtai surely wouldn't get this type of an agreement from J&J. If they are objective and open to any medical business opportunity - this one is a +$B target within 5 years. And the functional prototype exists.
But... my question is: "Does their $15M buy them that kind of leverage?" I think hiring Mr. McNally was an absolute from the BoD, and there are other north American investors that have shown interest, for their own future business success. There is an element of fear because of the excessive amount of Chinese capital seeking new opportunities, like acquiring IP. Which is why they steal it most of the time.
This is just speculation on my part.

BK
Very nice guy this Genova. Already hooked up with him in LinkedIn - it seems he doesn't mind chatting things up with pesky investors. What a refreshing change!
There is something in the air finance wise imho. Titan is a very different company than it was a month ago. As much as I admire what Barker has done during the post Hargrove interim, I think these recent steps have been orchestrated "at gunpoint" so to speak. Longtai or whomever have been calling the recent shots. If I am right, we might see a small sweetener to get them through warrent expiry - keeping them afloat but not enough to stir up pps excitement. Indeed this may already have happened, but not announced til warrent experations. Again, my speculation.
Unless they are a latter day BradyNE pats, and hoping for a miracle, I think it is unusual that they bring on this quality of people, in this quick a fashion.
Fingers crossed......
Very very happy with the team being put together. I think we are finally on the right path with what type of people we need to manage this project and company.....
Let's hope funding news comes soon.
Fowler has been officially replaced. Check out my link on the other page.
A very interesting choice..
In his presentation at Noble Mcnally stated when speaking of the surgeon workstation .." Our workstation has been validated and is presently in design for manufacturing"
I'm thinking they are finished with the design of the workstation and Plexus is now finishing the design to be manufacturing and service friendly.
Does that sound accurate?
Have to see this video. It should be in. Mcally's presentation IMO.
So has anyone here flirted with the idea of selling and buying back in after the next financing? I don't want to do it but I feel like we're gonna see a dip after the next financing and could come out with more shares in the long run......On the other hand I think it would be just my luck that McNally pulls a rabbit out of his ass and the price jumps up and I effed myself!
Thank you
Signed
Titan Torn
Both are painful. Gonna have to stay of Facebook for the next 4 years....
I don't mind waiting 2 years for commercialization. Just wish This was holding steady near my break even point. That would be a little more comforting....
With the new timelines basically pointing to another 2-3 years until commercialization. Are we looking at another year of suppressed (sub $1) PPS even when secured funding is obtained?**
**Assuming the plan is to carry it all the way to market.
I am not sure what is more painful. Wading through the whining on the other board or trying to go through my Facebook feed and navigating through the angry and divisive political rhetoric.
I am glad to finally get some form of an updated timeline and dollar figure for completion. I was a little disappointed in the 2019 date. However, I was very impressed with McNally. There's no doubt the guy knows his stuff and has done his homework regarding how SPORT works, its advantages and how it differs from the competition. Very well versed in these areas.
My plans haven't changed. I'm riding this out to the end. Because I think ultimately I will make money off my investment. However, it amazes me at those who have concluded that it is "too late" for Titan and have deemed it will fail. Yet continue to follow the stock like a scorned lover who can't let go. I really hope those type posters don't find their way to this board. But I'm starting to have my doubts about that...
I think we all assumed 2017 was going to be a lot more productive.
its Jan 31 2017. 2 years is a year too long
It's up on Titan's webpage under the investors overview section. But they should send it out in a PR (IMO).
I like his confidence and experience, and he very much knows he has the "opportunity of a lifetime." However, funding needs to be addressed ASAP, which is constantly looming on our minds... Also thankful for the transparency of the updated timelines, even thought they are a bit longer than most of us hoped. However I did figure we were about 24 months away from market. The PPS will likely get hit with the next round of funding, however, the PPS should also increase as we hit our updated milestones / achievements.
Nice! Listening now
I'm ready too! If Titan doesn't upload it here you go.

These guys better not fumble the webcast release. They could've promised that it would've been posted Jan 31, but they went with "24 hours after" which means it needs to be up by 1:00pm ET.
Thank you for the JPM info.
Can you provide any further info. as to investor or partner attendance?
You seem to have interesting insight and sources.
Thank you for your contributions.

Strange that Titan didn't PR the JPMorgan invite.....JP is the Super Bowl of these healthcare investment conferences.....
EVC actually did something for once.
They were invited JP like I posted. and had a great turnout. They had a private room.
Certainly doesn't sound like someone who is planning on a fire sell at .78/share. I also gather (from the last paragraph) that he has either been briefed on the Shareholder Letters or read them himself. I also gather from the interview that he already knows how he wants to get Titan to market. It's just executing the plan. Very impressive interview.
Thanks very much for sharing this. Gosh what a difference a good CEO makes, eh?
Do you think we were INVITED to JPMorgan? That would be very interesting and exciting.
I assumed we went uninvited as many companies do....
Man I am excited to get this bad boy on the road. I am curious to who caught interest at the past JP Morgan show.
Okay, I do not have direct message either. Owell, I don't want to be the one who spills the beans anyways.
Basically I posted the link on Scalpels
TITXF investors group. I invited one other person through linked in. I can't do PMs on IHub so I can't reach out to him but if you can PM him that's great. I really like the group and vibe on this board. You know what I mean...
I feel as URspider should be part of this club. Anyone else agree? Can you send him a link ST? Idk how it's decided who is aloud here but that's my two cents.
Mcnally sounds confident. 2017 is going to be a great year for Titan!
I think we just learned more about Titan in a five minute read of that interview than in the last five years combined. Highlights:
-Prototype SPORTs have been built to be deployed for use by key opinion leader surgeons. This means we are moving from "usability studies" to "metal on skin" very soon
-They've been invited to present at three investor conferences this year.
- At the JP Morgan conference, they had a "full schedule" of investor and partner meetings
- They "actively pursued" partnerships in late 2016.
Hold on to your butts folks. I think this thing is about to get very interesting. Can't wait to hear the webcast from the Noble conference on Tuesday...
This is dated Jan 19 but I have seen it before nor heard you guys mention it. Sorry if it's old news.

You're right, not a huge amount of money. But since warrants are like insurance, you could look at this as the first $2,600 of a $17,600 share purchase that would only be profitable if the PPS is way higher than 0.75. Just my two cents.
Only a $2,600 buy. What does that say? IDK.
If I thought the price was going to be over .75 soon I would just pick up shares at the current price. Why pay a .13 premium?
I guess any insider buy is a good thing but not particularly telling.
Thanks for staying on top of the insider buys, the patents and all the other interesting nuggets you find!!!!
I wonder if the insider who just picked up 20k of TMD WT.I did so because they don't expect the units to be in the money for a few years, or as a cheap way to pick up shares because they're going to be over the 0.75 strike soon?
A Titan insider picked up 20,000 of the "I" warrants on January 25, 2017. The purchase was at 0.13 per unit. These warrants expire in 2021, but have the lowest available strike price (0.75).
