Well the company doesn't have a very good track record and this is a lot more shares [around 170 million] then I like.I have 160k shares and I'm down around 35k. I sell the shares and get around 30k.
Right now I think Tinka has the most bang for the buck so I hold and hope.The 30k will not change my life style.I think you are searching for a reason to be here.I think the people making the $6.5 million investment know more than we do.GL John

I first learned of Tinka from Silvergoldsilver web site. I did my own DD and thought it was a good investment. I don't blame him. I bought in at .50 and watched it climb to 1.22. Should have sold. Would have more than doubled my money. Like Cramer says, hogs get slaughtered. I'll do ok. Just will take awhile to get there. As far as exploration companies go, this is rock solid.

What a disaster.

Every deal that he is involved in tanks. I understand that he is still connected to Tinka. In the last 5 years can name one stock that he has pumped on The Gold Report that that isn't down more than 90%?

Tinka is not the only stock I am suffering with. I have Africa Oil and the results announced in the last couple of weeks were very good but the stock went down. I commented any more good data and we will be a penny stock again.

Thanks XS. Yes!I'm not happy with the share price.I thought with all the great news [drill results numbers and the re-assay and Indium] the stock would be north of $.60 and as high as a dollar.
We got very little new buyers in this beaten down resource sector.Silver at $16 or so and copper at a multi year low but zinc is about the same price of a year ago.
I talked to Seema the IR lady and she says "Were getting great results and expanding resources".
Guys over at stock house are upset because we have a market cap of 27 million dollars and inferred resources of over a billion and this will expand [open at strike] in 2015.
I heard a interview from PDAC last week with the president on Paas and Daniela."We now have our production costs down to $18.50 an ounce down from $20" How long can you sell it for $16?
This makes no sense to me and neither does the price of TINKA. BTFD.GL John

Certainly management was caught off guard when the one investor unloaded shares. That should tell you something about poor contingency planning.

Even though we have an investor who holds 19.9% of the stock we are reliant on retail investors and have a very shaky investor base which is not growing.

It is discouraging to be holding oil and mining stocks which in previous times would be winners but in the last couple of years the SP erodes and dilution is the name of the game.

Thanks Dough! Tinka has 2 billion worth of minerals and they are open at strike.[looking for more]They are going to announce numbers[43-101] for their silver find in the next month or so.This week coming they are at PDAC[miners conference] looking for money and showing what they've got.
This week they came out with a press release and had a stock holders meeting all of which had no impact on the stock price.The stock trades on the pink sheets in the US and the Vancouver exchange. Neither of which have a good reputation.I believe the new company management is moving in the right direction.[drilling-reassaying-43101's]
The problems remains, name recognition and a beat up mining sector and the exchanges they trade on.Money is the major factor.They have a partner in the last placement but the borrowing is costly with dilution of the shares.That partner remains onboard
I have hope with PDAC this week and on- going talks with other companies that Tinka can partner with a major and get the easy to mine silver resource in operation and continue to expand its large zinc,Indium, and tin find.

The Inferred Mineral Resource at Ayawilca occurs in three separate structures (West, Central, and East), all of which remain open along strike. The Mineral Resources were estimated by Roscoe Postle Associates Inc. (RPA) of Toronto, Canada.

These results confirm that high levels of indium occur with the zinc mineralization, particularly in the deeper intersections. I've had this stock[$100k] for 3 years.Last week they came out with some drill reports and this week they will come out with more drill reports.I called the office and talked to the PR rep.She said Tinka mgt. was talking to 5-6 companies.Everything looks great except the volume sucks and the stock price is very close to an all time low.
