SRHI Inc. Appoints New CEO and Proposes Name Change
TORONTO, May 12, 2021 (TSXV: SRHI) - SRHI Inc. ("SRHI" or the "Company”) is pleased to announce that its upcoming virtual annual and special meeting of shareholders (“AGM”) will be held on June 2, 2021. Shareholders will be asked to approve a name change and expanded board of directors (the “Board”). In addition, Terry Lyons will step down as Interim CEO and be succeeded by Michael Staresinic, the Company’s current President and CFO. Mr. Lyons will remain on as independent Chair of the Board.

At the Company’s upcoming AGM, the Board will be seeking approval of a special resolution that will permit the Company to change its name to “Three Valley Copper Corp.” or such other name as the Board, in its sole discretion, deems appropriate. The proposed new name reflects the Company’s sole business focus and is symbolic of its majority-owned copper producing operating mine, Minera Tres Valles in Salamanca, Chile.

The Board is also proposing to the shareholders to elect Joe Phillips, current COO of MTV, to the Board. Mr. Phillips would not be considered an independent director.

Mr. Phillips is a senior mining executive with 48 years of experience in the construction, commissioning and operation of mining projects in 13 countries (7 in Latin America) on 5 continents. He has directed the construction, commissioning and operation of 11 plants and mining operations. Prior to MTV, he held senior executive roles such as Chairman, COO, VP Operations, Chief Restructuring Officer, Chief Development Officer and Senior VP Development.

Mr. Phillips is a Registered Professional Mining Engineer, graduating from the Colorado School of Mines ("CSM"), and with graduate studies in Engineering Management at the University of South Florida. Spot iron ore prices rose to almost 15-month highs, sustaining a rally that began last month and could extend amid a limited supply of spot cargoes, as top buyer China rebuilds stockpiles on hopes a mending economy will buoy steel demand.

Concern that an upcoming cyclone season could disrupt supply from top iron ore exporter Australia and firmer Chinese steel prices could stretch gains in iron ore prices which have already surged more than 33 per cent since early December.

Benchmark iron ore with 62 per cent iron content rose 0.4 per cent to $US153.90 a tonne on Monday, the highest since October 14, 2011, based on data from Steel Index.

Iron ore, the raw material used to make steel, has rebounded 77 per cent since hitting three-year lows below $US87 in September as Chinese appetite bounced back along with signs its economic growth is picking up.

"There's a lot of speculative buying going on and supply in the open market has been relatively short," said Jamie Pearce, head of iron ore broking at SSY Futures.

Slower domestic production of iron ore in China, especially in the northern regions due to winter, and limited flows of spot cargoes from Australia, Brazil and India have also helped push up prices, said Mr Pearce.

Australia's cyclone season could start as early as this week, with weather forecasters saying last week that a low-intensity storm off the western coast could intensify, potentially disrupting shipments of iron ore.

That could prolong a rally in prices as Chinese mills continue to replenish stockpiles at major ports that have fallen to less than 80 million tonnes from 90-100 million tonnes for the most part of 2012.

"I'm expecting prices to move further up," said a physical trader in Singapore, adding the benchmark 62 per cent iron ore could hit $US170 in the near term.

Steel prices help sustain rally

A slightly higher-grade cargo, a 70,000-tonne Brazilian 63.5 per cent material for delivery to China's Qingdao port in March, was sold at $US158 per tonne on Tuesday via the GlobalOre trading platform, traders said.

Miner Rio Tinto is selling 165,000 tonnes of 61.5 per cent grade Pilbara iron ore fines at a tender closing later in the day, traders said.

Rising Chinese steel prices are also helping sustain the rally in iron ore, pointing to a recovery in end-user demand.

The price of spot billet in China's key Tangshan area rose by another 60 yuan ($US10) per tonne on Tuesday, adding to a 50-yuan rise on Monday, the Singapore trader said.

In Shanghai, the most-traded rebar futures for May delivery reversed early losses to trade up 0.4 per cent at 4019 yuan per tonne by the midday break. It hit a six-month peak of 4047 yuan on Monday.

But the increase in steel prices is also fuelled by the rise in iron ore costs of steelmakers, prompting China's biggest listed steelmaker Baoshan Iron and Steel to lift prices for a third month in a row for February.

"China's new leadership has emphasized ongoing investment into transport and civil infrastructure. Combined with stabilising and improving real estate sales, end-demand prospects for steel in China are looking better than 3-6 months ago," Commonwealth Bank said in a note.

"While end-demand prospects are improving, the current surge in iron ore prices looks overdone. We suspect iron prices will either take a breather in the coming weeks or we'll need to see further increases in Chinese steel prices to sustain iron ore above $US150/tonne," the bank said.

IRON ore shipments from the world's biggest bulk commodity export harbour, Port Hedland, hit a record last month as China kept buying iron ore from BHP Billiton, Fortescue Metals Group and Atlas Iron despite softening demand.

The figures, released by the port yesterday, back up claims from the companies that they are still selling all the iron ore they can produce amid a pull-back in iron ore prices, reports of Chinese mills deferring shipments and signals Australian expansions will be reined in.

It also rings true with comments from Fortescue chief Nev Power that his company would probably beat full-year guidance of 55 million tonnes.

Port Hedland exported 22.5 million tonnes of iron ore in May, up 8.7 per cent and valued at up to $US2.5 billion ($2.51bn) based on current spot prices.

BHP, the biggest exporter from the port, has been flagging delays to its planned $US20bn Outer Harbour expansion as it deals with lower cashflows after sliding commodities prices and $US20bn worth of shale gas acquisitions in the US.

Fortescue, which is renowned for talking up stretch targets, has also said it would pause expansions after its current round.

But the expansions that are already committed are depending on Chinese demand continuing.

Fortescue claims it will add another 100 million tonnes a year of export capacity in the next year and BHP is already building another 70 million tonnes.

According to the Steel Index, iron ore prices slid from $US145 a tonne landed in China at the start of May to a low of $US129.90 on May 23, before recovering to finish the month at $US134.80.

ANZ commodities analyst Mark Pervan said a recent trip to China had shown that while confidence there was waning, the cost of sustaining Chinese iron ore mines was expected to put a floor on prices near current levels.

"There was agreement of a high floor price ($120-$130 a tonne) because of the high cost (swinging) of Chinese iron ore supply," Mr Pervan said. "That said, some believed that if Chinese steel prices continued to fall that iron ore would have to follow, which we would agree with in the very short term."

He said iron ore prices were expected to improve this year as Chinese stimulus measures showed up in data and activity.

The bank is forecasting iron ore will average $US152 a tonne at Chinese ports in 2012-13 before sliding to $US133 a tonne by 2014-15.

A survey by Bloomberg released yesterday forecast iron ore prices into China would rise to $US152 a tonne in the second half of this year. It pointed to the approval of new steel mills in China in recent weeks by Baosteel Group and Wuhan Iron & Steel, which were among $US23bn worth of recently approved new steel production.

Adriana Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE: ADI) ("Adriana" or the "Company") is pleased to report the completion of an updated National Instrument 43-101 Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects ("NI 43-101") Mineral Resource estimate ("the Estimate") using information from the most recent drilling program on its 40% owned Lac Otelnuk Project. The Estimate was completed by Watts, Griffis and McOuat Limited ("WGM"), Consulting Geologists and Engineers of Toronto, Canada, and resulted in 11.35 billion tonnes of Measured and Indicated Mineral Resources and an additional 12.39 billion tonnes of Inferred Mineral Resources based on a Davis Tube Weight Recovery ("DTWR") cutoff grade of 18%. The Measured and Indicated portion of the Mineral Resource extends over a strike length of 20 km. The Inferred portion of the deposit north and south of the Measured and Indicated Mineral Resource adds an additional strike length of 16 km to the deposit for a total strike length of 36 km. The update reflects an increase of 232% in Measured and Indicated and 794% in Inferred Mineral Resources from the previous estimate as noted in the Company's news release dated August 23, 2011.

For the 2011 drilling program, a changeover was made to Satmagan measurements to replace previous Davis Tube ("DT") testwork. For QA/QC purposes, some DT tests were still maintained and certain samples had both DT and Satmagan determinations. WGM built a relationship between the magnetic Fe determined by Satmagan and that determined by DT where both techniques were used. There was a strong correlation between the two types of measurements and WGM normalized the Satmagan results to the DT results using this relationship. For consistency with previous Mineral Resource estimates, a %DTWR cutoff was retained based on this relationship.

The Estimate was completed using an Inverse Distance to the power of one method with a block size of 50m x 50m x 5m high. In general, Measured Mineral Resources are defined as blocks being within 350 m of a drillhole intercept, Indicated Mineral Resources are defined as blocks from 350 m to 500 m from a drillhole intercept and Inferred Mineral Resources are defined as blocks more than 500 m distance from a drillhole intercept and interpolated out to a maximum of approximately 1,000 m where the drilling is more sparse, predominantly in the deeper parts of the deposit. This categorization was used specifically in the Main Zone (previously named the South Zone) area of the deposit.

Recent more widely spaced drilling was carried out to the north and south of the previous Mineral Resource area to trace the strike extensions of the deposit and some additional holes were also drilled to follow the mineralization at depth in the south part of the deposit. The areas directly to the north and the south of the Main Zone for about 3 km strike length were all classified as Indicated. Any Mineral Resources beyond the 3 km extension on either side of the Main Zone was classified as Inferred, due to even more widely spaced drilling. The deeper intersections of mineralization, predominantly on the northeastern down-dip extension of the deposit, generally lie beneath 70 m or more of cover rock and this mineralization was re-categorized as Inferred, regardless of the distance to a drillhole, to account for the uncertainty that would be associated with a higher stripping ratio.

The 2010 and 2011 drilling programs showed that the iron formation units have excellent continuity of geology/geometry and grade, although there appears to be some structural complexity to the northeast of the deposit where possible thrusting has occurred. This will be followed up in the next phases of drilling to get a better understanding of the nature of this complexity and how it affects the mineralization in this area. In general, the drilling programs were successful in upgrading the categorization of the existing Mineral Resources and substantially expanding the Mineral Resources to the north and south of the Main Zone.

Mr. Michael W. Kociumbas, P.Geo., Vice-President of WGM, and Mr. Richard Risto, P.Geo., are independent Qualified Persons in accordance with NI 43-101. Mr. Kociumbas has reviewed and is responsible for the Mineral Resources presented in this news release. WGM has previously visited the site, collected independent core samples and reviewed the QA/QC data received to date. Mr. Risto has reviewed and approved the underlying sampling, analytical and test data used for the Estimate.

Diamond drilling on the Lac Otelnuk Project resumed on May 3, 2012 and by May 10 all four drill rigs were in full operation. Since May 3, 2012, forty eight holes totaling 5,333 metres have been completed. Drilling is currently focused on definition drilling to better define the limits of the potential early stage mine pit for mine planning purposes. Additional drilling for hydrogeology monitoring wells and further delineation drilling to upgrade inferred mineral resources are planned. Exploration drilling is also planned to test other magnetic targets on the Lac Otelnuk Project. Since 2007, Adriana and Lac Otelnuk Mining Ltd. have drilled 261 drill holes totaling 34,037 metres on the taconite iron deposit.

Grindability testing on large diameter core samples from the Main Zone has been completed by SGS Minerals, and bench scale testing using high pressure grinding rolls is planned. Golder Associates has again been retained to conduct environmental monitoring and complete the surveys necessary for the Economic and Social Impact Assessment.

Adriana Announces Closing of Final Tranche of $10 Million Non-Brokered Private Placement
TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Nov. 19, 2010) - Adriana Resources Inc. ("Adriana" or "the Company") - (TSX VENTURE:ADI) is pleased to announce that it has closed the third and final tranche of its previously announced non-brokered private placement of common shares of the Company ("Common Shares") ("the Private Placement") today by issuing 8,513,513 Common Shares at a price of $0.37 per Common Share for gross proceeds of $3,150,000. This brings the total gross proceeds received pursuant to the Private Placement to $10 million and the total number of Common Shares issued pursuant to the Private Placement to 27,027,024. ("Adriana" or the "Company") - (TSX-V: ADI) announces that it has received a notice from ArcelorMittal ("Arcelor") terminating the memorandum of understanding with the Company relating to Arcelor's participation in Adriana's iron ore port facility development project located in Sepetiba Bay, approximately 70 kilometers west of Rio de Janeiro in the State of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The Company recently announced that it has submitted a new permit application for a deep sea terminal port with a capacity of 45 billion tonnes per year. Adriana will continue to develop strategic working relationships with parties to maximize the potential of the deep sea terminal port.


I am left to wonder if the first had everything to do with the second... one thing is certain - THE MARKET HATED THE DOUBLE WHAMMY AND THE LONGS WILL BE HURTING, ABSOLUTELY NO DOUBT!!! Down +20% on the highest volume in months is sure to hurt alot more before getting better -
