Here is one which has tanked, I got a 10K partial fill at .03 today - only had an order in for 11200 shares and they didnt fill the last 1200 shares -

Traded like less than 200K shares in its existance

check out asae - 175k shares traded in life of stock

To be honest mine did too (conspiracy reasoning)- and some of that may exist - but the whooping settlement charge (that i got refunded) opened my eyes a bit. In reality it may be a mixture of both?

i've wondered about TDA and why they restrict.
i think there may be more to it but my reasoning runs along the
conspiracy theory lol

i'm oot today got up early to sell the LEI i was holding over

Curious the TDA restricts on too many stocks. I gained some insight into why recently. TDA restricts new positions in SSPT - I now understand why!

I was trading with Just 2 Trade and really liked them. $2.50 a trade. All was going well. Very happy with them. Then.....

I sold SSPT - a total of $350 worth! There seemed to be nothing special about the stock. Several days later when settlement should have been done I noticed my account was like $610 short (actually $625). Ultimately J2T did the right thing and refunded me my money - this time.

Turned out that SSPT only traded in paper certificates and were not DTC eligible. At settlement 5 parties were involved at a whooping $125 per certificate cost for a grand total of $625. They were passing this fee from the transfer agent along to me as their clearing department had charged them.

GEEEEE I wish J2T had restricted that stock!!!

I cannot take surprises like that even though J2T made me whole this time. My fear was what happens next time!!

many times if you call your broker and say hey what gives they will waive the trading fee (but still get you on the other side)

I know Ameritrade has in the past for me.

I snagged some cheap shares - a few thousand was all - got the trade free and then kept getting more small fills for free.

Just had to call and ask

Worse they can do is say NO

that's right
when those shares become unrestricted it will be easy to fill the cheap ones...only problem getting out at a higher price
i filled some cheap a while back was an odd lot under 100 shares filled

Yea they do concerts and stuff - out of the east coast of Florida. If one could snag bid shares and sell ask shares could hake a mint. Seemed to have some unhappy/inpatient longs from the thread when I looked. Concern also with the restricted shares becoming unrestricted in a month or two per the thread.
